"It's all over the news: ANOTHER battle between Spider-Man and these Demon masked gunmen threatening the lives of our good people. I understand our next caller lives in the area. You're on with J. Jonah Jameson."
"Yeah, the thing is it all happened in a shipyard that's been closed for years. There weren't any innocent people in danger."
"Oh, is that your expert opinion? Well, let me tell you what I've learned from sources I developed in my award-winning journalism career. That shipyard was a front for Malcom Merlyn. He's been using it to smuggle technology to destroy the Glades!"
"Oh..."
"Ah, the truth bomb strikes! But here's some more facts: while Spider-Man tried to grab the glory for himself trying to stop the truck, another one got away filled with illegal weapons! Feel safe yet?! Jameson out!"
Once Peter made it to the building, he noticed it was one of the construction sites since they were all shut down after Merlyn's death. He comes in swinging and lands just outside and swings his way over when he saw a truck leaving the site with a logo: Consolidated Shipping.
"Wonder if that's something worth looking into." Peter wonders before hearing gunfire and quickly made his way up and saw a trio of Demons carrying a murdered worker.
"Oh my god..." Peter whispers in shock as he landed onto a pedestal to stay out of sight before making a call to Yuri. "Yuri, I'm here."
"What do you see?" Yuri asks whilst the Demons toss the body to the side.
"Find the rest, boss wants them dead." The middle Demon stated.
"Looks like the Demons are trying to set up their own territory." Peter took a wild guess.
"You've got this?" Yuri questions whilst Peter leaped over and landed on top of a container.
"Well, let's find out." Peter supposes and hangs up.
Working fast, Peter sneaked up to one of the patrol Demons and webbed his feet, causing him to turn around just as Peter punched him square in the face, rendering him unconscious.
Peter silently congratulates himself before moving on by leaping onto the ceiling as it seems these Demons aren't expecting him due to the fact they're only looking upwards.
Working through them, he found a group of them surrounding some worker who was defenseless. "You don't have to do this!" He cried just as he was hit with the holt of one of their guns.
"Merlyn's territory is ours now." The Demon said and went to kill him when Peter leaped in, using one of the pipes as a pully to yank their guns up as well as the men by their legs.
"Yeah, I don't think so." Peter scoffed just as he heard propellers and his senses went off for him to turn around and see a helicopter coming up to the roof. "Great, now who's this?"
Peter quickly shot out a web and began to yank himself up and decided to try something and use his feet to try and run up. That didn't end well as Peter ended up falling and just sticked with either crawling or swinging for now and yanked him up using the momentum from the fall to soar to the roof.
On the roof, the helicopter was here to pick up the leader of their gang as he used a glowing sword, exactly like the ones Peter fought during Battleworld, to kill another one of the men working here. This man had glowing grey eyes, but what shocked Peter the most when he got there was the man wielding the sword.
"Martin?" Peter asks in complete shock as he watches Li climb into the helicopter and begins to take off, but Peter quickly shoots webbing onto the chopper and attached them to a junction box.
That seemed to work for a second until Li raised his hands and sent explosions from his hands towards Peter, sending him flying and loosening the junction box from the ground while it was still attached to the chopper.
"That didn't go as planned." Peter stated just as the box ended up ramming a crane and causing it to begin to fall. "Oh, come on!" He cried before running over and shooting several strands of webbing at the crane and taking all of his strength to stop it and sticking his feet.
Just when he thinks he's finally stopped it, his senses went off and he turned just as the hook came in and smacked him, causing him to be thrown off the building. Thinking fast, he works by swinging onto the crane and running up towards the top of it.
Peter works fast by shooting webbing to the structure and spun around the whole thing to keep it together. Next up, he goes to repeat it again, this time for the next building it's about to run into.
Inside the building, Gwen Stacy, daughter of the Police Captain, was in the building, which was her home, with some friends just when she heard the crane and looked out her window and screamed just as it hits the building and scrapping off the wall and the floor, sending debris falling to the ground. underneath her broke off and sent her falling.
Peter quickly got to work and webbed the crane and was able to keep going so he went for the hook which hit him, but it ended up swinging and rammed the building again which shook the building and the debris underneath Gwen to break off.
Gwen tried to get away, but the ground didn't help her and sent her falling. Peter was about to go back to chasing the chopper but sensed danger and heard an ear piercing scream and turned to see it came from a familiar face from school.
"Gwen?" Peter asks in shock before quickly looking back to the helicopter and back to Gwen and knows which is more important.
Gwen tries to hold on as strong as she could whilst her uncle Arthur tried to save her, but it ended with her slipping and falling. Peter came diving in to save her whilst dodging the debris and even using some of the bigger pieces to shoot himself forward and came in at the last second right before Gwen could be crushed and shoots out a web to dodge more debris as she wrapped her arms around Peter's neck to keep hold.
Peter shot out a web and got them to the ground safely and let her go. "You okay?"
"Yeah. I'm okay." Gwen says in shock as she stood face to face to the man her father labeled a criminal before they heard shattering glass coming from the helicopters. "You might be able to catch up if you go."
"Yeah, good call." Peter agreed and turned around before running and leaping just as a dozen of other girls cried and raced up to Gwen as she watched in shock, unaware that a radioactive spider has crawled its way up her shoe.
Peter quickly got back to chasing the helicopter when his suit quickly got a call from MJ, which he knew better than to leave for voicemail.
"Hey, what's this about a helicopter flying with a wrecking-ball I'm heading about?" MJ questions.
"I...it's a long story." Peter stated as his main focus right now was on trying to keep up with the chopper. "I'll tell you about it in a minute, I need to make a quick call." He then hung up on her and made a call to Yuri as he quickly chased the helicopter through the city.
"Is this call related to the reports on the helicopter downtown?" Yuri asks him.
"It's complicated. I followed on your lead, and it led me straight to their leader." Peter informed her. "It's Martial Li!"
"The guy who runs the F.E.A.S.T. shelter?"
"Yeah, like I said: complicated." Peter stated. "I'm trying to get to him and stop him." He promised before hanging up and goes back to chasing the helicopter before seeing it's going upward and above the Queens Consolidated and smacked the Q off of the sign with their wrecking ball before continuing on, leaving Peter to quickly stop the letter from crushing anyone by shooting webs all over it and running across the roof...only to learn they brought rocket launchers.
"Oh, come on guys! Hasn't the Queen name suffered enough?!" Peter questions as he was able to dodge the attacks and was close enough to finally shoot a web and latch onto the junction box and yank himself up to it.
But that ended up becoming worse for Peter as the web ended up giving way and sending Peter falling into an office building. The box rolls around and topples over Peter as he ducks and covers, waiting for it to stop before getting back up and ran through the halls whilst the people run away in fear while the Demons began opening fire on the office.
Peter leaped onto the wall to dodge a missile and leaped off to avoid another one. Seeing they're in the opening and no signs of moving, Peter sees an opening to finally stop them. "Oh, I hope I live to regret this."
Peter dodged several more missiles and flipped over all the furniture to achieve that goal before finally webbing both sides of the opening and yanking himself, sending him flying into the helicopter whilst kicking the man with the missile launcher.
"Hi, is this a safety drill?" Peter asks as he came face to face with Martin Li who's eyes were still glowing.
Peter webbed the opposite end of the copter and the Demon before tossing him back into the building and raising up to the chopper again. Working fast, Peter worked his way back only for Li to reveal he has a sword and starts swinging it at him.
"Why are you doing this, Martin?!" Peter asks in shock as the sweet, honest man he has been working alongside for the past few months to help the Glades was becoming this psychopath.
"Because no one else will!" Li stated before his eyes and sword began to glow and he swung it, causing Peter to git hit by a wave of energy which caused him to lose his grip and fall, but he just immediately webbed himself back up, this time on the opposite end of the chopper.
Peter waited this time for Li to come up and swing, but this time dodged it and webbed his sword to the chopper which caused some malfunctions when the built up energy got released.
"Please, this isn't you." Peter begged of Li.
"You don't know me!" Li stated, not knowing who he is talking to, as he pulled his sword free, this time damages the engines and causing the helicopter to spin out of control.
Peter quickly crawled to the upright side of the copper, and he had to come up with a plan, fast. Faster than the approaching ground. "Okay. Need a plan. Need a plan real fast!" He then works fast and shoots a web on the side of Queen Consolidated and another towering building before using his powers to stick to the chopper. "I guess this is the plan!"
Peter uses his strength to try and keep it away from the people and it barely scrapes off the street, but it ended with the tail falling and tumbling down the street, causing Peter to quickly shoots several strands of webbing on it and throws it against the building and stops it from crushing people.
The chopper then swings around and breaks free of his webs, but starts to fall to the ground, where Peter leaps off the chopper and dives after it.
"Please don't screw this up." Peter pleaded to himself as he immediately started constantly shooting webs at the helicopter, causing the webs to go back and forth between both the copper and the buildings and colliding them.
Before he could crash into it, Peter sticks his legs out just before he could land on the helicopter. He pants in exhaustion and shock at the fact he did that and quickly looked inside and noticed that Martin is already gone.
"Martin, what are you doing?" Peter asks himself as he saw the pilot was still there and unconscious before making a call to Yuri. "Yuri, I caught one of the bad guys, but their leader got away." He reported in. "But..."
"But what?" Yuri asks.
"You're gonna need to bring a ladder." Peter warns her before leaping off and swings down the street.
On the street, a big growing fan of Spider-Man was watching him swing off.
The boy is a teenager of African-American and Hispanic descent. He is of average height and weight, at 5'8", he has short black hair with thick eyebrows, and shares many facial features with his father. His father being Jefferson Davis.
This boy being Miles Morales. He was watching and recording Spider-Man swinging off when a text shows up on his phone.

Miles remembers he needs to get to the ceremony for his dad and quickly sent a text back.
