"A helicopter fight, Trailing a crane. In the air above our teeming streets. On which it could have crashed at any moment in blazing, rotor-chopping fireball of doom! Still think the web-head's protecting people like you, caller?" Jameson asks.

"Well, he stopped them. And he made sure the helicopter didn't land or hurt on anyone." Caller stated. "So it seems he did the right thing."

"The right thing?! The right thing would be to call the professionals! My son serves proudly in the Air Force. He's logged thousands of hours of flight time and years of training in protecting our homeland! But he's not good enough?"

"Well, of course he is. But he wasn't there, Spider-Man was there."

"BECAUSE THAT'S HOW HE WANTED IT! God forbid he shared the spotlight with anyone! That's it, I'm done pointing out the obvious. Let's go to commercials. I need a double aspirin with an antacid chaser, NOW!"

Peter was still swinging through the city and got a call from MJ.

"Hey, MJ." Peter greeted him.

"Hey, are you going to go to that rally for Officers Barton and Davis?" MJ asks him.

"Yeah, I was thinking of showing up...wait, didn't Osborn announce a rally-Oh, now I see what he's doing." Peter finally puts together.

"Yeah, we all do." MJ assured him. "But still, it must be cool for them and their families. You wanna go together?"

"Sure, I'll meet you there, just gotta stop somewhere to change." Peter promised her as he swung past Clint Barton and his family.

"There's the stage entrance." Lila Barton, Clint's wife pointed over towards where the Morales family is. "We'll be watching out front."

"Looks like there's a lot of people showing up." Clint sighed.

"It'll be fine, honey." Lila says and pecks his cheek.

"The last time I was in front of a big crowd like this, it was our graduation speech. And I fainted." Clint informed his wife.

"If only your graduation class could see you now." Lila says sportingly.

"They'd ask why the hell I'm still in this city." Clint quipped back.

"You're gonna be fine, dad." Ashley Barton, their daughter, said wanting to move on, knowing her dad could do this for hours.

Clint laughs and ruffles his daughter's hair before walking towards the stage.

Jefferson Davis was just talking an almost identical conversation with his own family.

"Come on, dad, you've got this. I mean, you saved Spider-Man's life. That basically makes you a Superhero Cop." Miles informed his dad who laughed at that comparison.

"A hero? Or maybe I'm just a guy who never gives up." Davis says before heading off on stage with Clint close behind.

And nearby, Gwen Stacy and her mother Helen were even in the crowd as their father/husband, Captain George Stacy, was watching over the event.

"Welcome, everyone. And before I hand it off to Mayor Osborn, I'd just like to say a few words." The Deputy Mayor starts as the ceremony began. "Our city is so fortunate that such exemplary citizens call our community home."

"M...Martin?" MJ asks Peter in shock as they walked through the Oscorp rally and Peter told her everything he discovered during the fight. "Martin's the leader of the Demons?"

"Yeah, it was...strange. I didn't know what to even think. He killed a man, tried to kill me, and more people with that chopper." Peter added in confusion. "I think he's starting a war with Oscorp."

"But why? What does Li have to gain from any of this?" MJ questions. "Li is so nice, generous, why would he want to fight someone like Osborn or put innocents in danger?"

"Maybe I can look into that truck that left. It came from a place called Consolidated Shipping." Peter informed her. "I might find something to help us there."

"Thank you, Jim." Mayor Osborn says as he walked up to the stand with Barton and Davis beside him. "Couldn't have said it better myself. But I'll try."

Peter laughs a little at the attempted joke but came more like a dad joke just as his senses went off.

"Peter, what's wrong?" MJ asks him as Peter tried to follow where the senses are warning him, only for his eyes to suddenly pick up on a few people in the audience glowing.

On the stage, Osborn had just given the officers their medals of honor when he had to take a phone call and walked off stage.

"Hello?" Osborn called into the phone.

"I've worked many years for this moment." The unknown voice stated into the phone.

"Who is this?" Norman asked.

"Over the next upcoming days, your company, your city, everything you care about will be destroyed." Osborn gestured to the guards to listen in to the call. "People will beg you for help, but you won't be able to save them."

"All right, listen here jackass, I get threatened like this twice a week, why don't you grow a pair and tell me what you want." Osborn dared the caller.

"To watch you suffer." He stated before hanging up.

Back in the crowd, Peter suddenly got a spark in his senses and noticed that Martin had just walked through the crowd and tried to push his way through to reach him. But right before he could reach Li, he sent a wave of energy that pushed him back, followed by an expulsion.

The same happened on stage as the Deputy Mayor also began to glow and Miles noticed it and quickly called out to his dad.

"Dad!" Miles cried out and gestured to behind the cops.

Davis noticed the glowing Deputy Mayor and quickly pushed him away before shielding Clint. "Get down!"

The whole place began to explode, and people went around everywhere, and others were trying to shield those around them.

Miles was one of the many who were at the front but was able to duck and avoid the exposition. Peter was shielding MJ from the explosion and was tossed into the side of the nearby store.

Helen was shielding Gwen from the explosion, and luckily the both of them survived but were rendered unconscious by it.

The spider that had recently crawled onto Gwen also left her and searched through the scorched crowd of people until finding an unconscious Clint Barton and Jefferson Davis.

Miles was unconscious for a few good minutes and when he awoke, he heard the faint cries from MJ about Peter's condition.

"Peter! Peter, if you hear me, say something." MJ cried as Miles looked to see the whole stage was destroyed.

"Dad...dad!" Miles cried as he limped up a tried to climb up to the stage where a Demon spots him and marches over to him. "No...no...NO!"

"Enough!" Li called out, causing them all to turn to him. "We're leaving." He tells them and sees they've made their point and march off, leaving the dozens of dead or injured people.

Just then, the spider crawled off the corps' and onto Miles' hand.

ONE WEEK LATER

Peter and MJ watched the funerals from a distance that took place for all of the people who have died during the attack. The guilt complex on Peter just growing higher and higher with each time.

"What are you thinking now?" MJ asks Peter.

"That I screwed up, big time. And these kids lost parents." Peter comments on the Stacy and Morales families. Luckily, Clint Barton is supposed to make a full recovery and luckily his family wasn't close enough to get hurt.

But Jefferson, Lila, and about a dozen other people in the crowd weren't as lucky.

"You can't blame yourself for all of this." MJ informed him, but Peter doesn't even bother responding to that. "What about Li? Yuri out looking for him?"

"No, not enough evidence." Peter sighed. "I found out where Consolidated Shipping is located, so I'm going to go check it out." He looked over to where Miles was looking at his father's grave. "I want to help them somehow, but I don't know how."

"Maybe F.E.A.S.T. can help them?" MJ shrugged. "You said when your family fell apart, F.E.A.S.T. did help."

"I'll run it by May after I check out the Shipping area." Peter said and they leave the funeral and walk off towards one of the places to find Li.

Once Peter got into his suit, he made it over to Shipping and found a few Demons guarding the area.

"Okay, this is definitely the place." Peter stated and quietly made his way through the demons, which was sadly pretty easy. "Now what were you guys protecting?" He wonders and walks into the building.

Peter kicks in the doors, one of them being thrown off its hinges and the other slowly closing again. He looks around the room and notices an invoice on the table.

"Pale Horse Ridez...why do I feel like I know that place?" Peter wonders, felling like he should look into that just as he looked and saw they were building something. "Oh, boy." He whispered in shocked as he looked at the gigantic six wheeled truck that looks to be built to take serious damage and made a quick call to MJ. "MJ, I didn't find Li, but I think I just stopped their plans from doing some serious trouble."

"I'll send Yuri an anonymous tip." MJ promises him as Peter began to hear helicopters outside and made it outside to see one open up and someone looking down.

She had long red flowing hair, gray leggings that also acted as her pants, a dark blue boots, a matching shirt, and gloves. She had a belt on with several pouches and a blue mask to rest the rest of her outfit, not to mention a gigantic cape matching the rest of her outfit.

"Who the hell is this?" Peter questions.

The woman just jumps from the chopper and immediately opened fire on Peter who automatically dodged the fire raining down, missing the devises that were thrown down. She uses her cape to slower her descent and landed on one knee while aiming both guns at Peter.

"Solid entrance! I'd rate it an 8 out of 10." Peter informed the woman while he noticed a police car coming up. Just when Peter's senses went off, the small devices wrapped around him and began shocking him. "9 out of 10!"

Yuri exited the car and raced over to the two of them whilst the girl marched over towards Peter, guns still raised. "Release him!" She demands the woman. "He works with us."

The woman kept her smug smile but pushes a button on her gun that released Peter. "Yuri...explanation, please?"

"This is Barbra Gordon Hardy, here on behalf of the Mayor from the Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistics Directorate." Yuri introduces the two of them.

"Great. Our amazing Mayor now has a pet army?" Peter questioned.

"Next time you get in my way; I won't be so nice." Barbra warns Peter.

"What? You came in here blasting like there was no tomorrow." Peter scoffed angrily at her and was about to take a few steps forward when Yuri stopped him.

"Go. We'll talk later." Yuri promises him and the two advanced individuals stared at each other for a good second before Peter turned away and shot a web to start swinging towards F.E.A.S.T., hoping he might find a way to find Li there.

Peter swung off and made it just outside of F.E.A.S.T. when Yuri called him on the way.

"Hey, sorry about the S.H.I.E.L.D. thing. I should've told you earlier, but it all happened so fast." Yuri said once he answered.

"It's alright, we're still best buds." Peter promised her.

"We're not best buds." Yuri stated.

"Well, that took a dark turn." Peter said in fake surprise, knowing he still needs to gain the officer's trust.

"Anyways, Black Bat has the mayor's ear and uncheck authority until Li is captured. We searched that address and found plenty of evidence of a bomb plot, but nothing that leads back to Martin Li." Yuri explained.

"I'm working on that." Peter said as he eyes F.E.A.S.T. "I'll let you know when I have something for you." He then hanged up and leaped down onto the roof where he hid a bag full of his clothes.

MELINA VIDLER as BLACK BAT

SONOYA MIZUNO as ASHLEY BARTON

DANIA RAMIREZ as RIO MORALES

(A/N) FYI, I didn't make her up. Black Bat's an actual character that exists in Marvel Comics as an AU version of Felica Hardy. They have their own Bruce Wayne as well...and their own Justice League. WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME?!
