"You're just a little cutie, aren't you~!" Ruby smiled, scratching the armadillo faunus on the neck. The faunus smiled at her with a soft blush on his face.
"This SDC logo on his shell…" Weiss frowned. "Well, the good news is the fact that Jacques is in a better place, so honestly… he doesn't have to answer to anyone."
"Except for Dracula's so-called wife." Blake snickered.
I don't know if I should feel bad for Drac or not… Luigi thought.
"Hey, Pittoo, I know you have your reasonings but come on, he's just a kid." Pit said.
"I know that, but the fact that he's been following us for a while doesn't mean he's not bad." Dark Pit turned to Cloud. "Cloud, back me up on this. You don't trust him either, right?"
"At first, I didn't… but Red assured me he doesn't sense any ill intent from him." Cloud explained.
"Indeed. Plus, observe Ruby. She's relaxed and giving him affection along with her mother. As I recall, her turning into a Zinogre intensified her senses. If she had sensed anything from him, she'd be antagonistic toward him. Same with Ms. Gloria. She turns into Pokemon via Power Ups, and I believe that not only did it give her a side effect that she can understand Pokemon, she has the same senses as Ruby."
Ibuki overheard this. "Do you?" She asked.
"Yeah, but not as intense as the lass."
Red smiled. "There you have it."
"See? Nothing to worry about!" Pit smiled as well.
"Mmph… fine, but if that little kid tries anything, I'm taking him down."
"Good luck taking on a ghost, Mr. Paranoid." Pit said as he walked off.
"Paranoid? Who's paranoid? I'm not paranoid!" Dark Pit defended.
"Did it get hot all of a sudden?" Yang asked as they would see that they were in the desert, and saw a massive tower in front of them.

World 3-1: Desert Tower
BGM: Desert (Super Mario 3D Land)
"Huh, it's about an area late but whatever." Weiss shrugged.
"That's a pretty cool tower, honestly." Qrow admitted.
"Indeed. Wonder what's inside of it." Yang wondered.
"Uh oh. With all this heat, we might need some sun block! Luckily, I got some right here!" Doc said, pulling out a bottle of salve.
"That's… actually salve. Not sunblock!" Simmons said.
"Yeah, but if you squint really hard, it could actually pass as sunblock!" Doc said.
"…Have you learned nothing from Hiyoko-chan's bullying?" Ibuki facepalmed, then brought out her own sunblock. "Here ya go! Actual sunblock."
Summer glanced over at the armadillo faunus. "…I know armadillos don't usually mind the sun, but… hit me up!" She requested as Ibuki tossed her the bottle. "Here you go, sweetie." She said, gently applying it. The Faunus shivered at the touch but curiously watched it disappear into his skin.
Some sunblock used on mostly everyone later…
"Alright, time to see what's in that tower!" Ruby said as they walked ahead, while the armadillo faunus walked over to the right, away from the tower.
"Hmm?" Summer turned her head and walked after him. She would see him reach down to some fresh water. Oh, he's thirsty. Glad that's a real oasis. She thought as she glanced over to see a shadow in the sand moving toward him. Her eyes widened as she quickly dove underground.
The Faunus continued to drink when his instinct kicked in and he curled up into his shell. The shadow came closer… before it disappeared. A few seconds later, the sand exploded as a Sandmaargh lay its head on the side as stars circled around it.
Summer emerged out of the sand, dusting her hands together as she looked to the side to see some Pokeys moving close to them. They stopped when Summer gave them a glare, causing them to back away in fear. She heard a caw as she looked up to see Klepto swooping in, only for him to turn the other way once he made eye contact with Summer.
"Good." Summer nodded as the faunus popped out his shell and looked at the KO'd Sandmaargh. He tilted his head before shrugging it off and decided to walk behind the tower. Summer followed him, making sure no Sandmaargh or Pokey were stupid enough to get close to him.
Eventually, the boy made his way to a small Brick Block in the tower. He tried to pull it out but it was no use, so Summer proceeded to conjure up a silver sledge hammer and destroyed it with one swing. The boy's eyes sparkled in awe as he rolled inside.
"Ya know… I wonder if your parents know if you're okay." Summer wondered. "Although, seeing that SDC logo on your shell makes me think he destroyed your livelihood and that's why you're living in the wild… and would explain why you can't speak." She folded her arms. "You know what, I think my family should adopt you. You're so stinkin' adorable, I can't see any reason not to."
She turned around. "What do you guys think?" She asked, only to realize she's alone. "Aaaand I'm talking to myself… riiiight." Note to self, bring this up to them sooner than later. She thought as the boy rolled out with a 1-Up in his hands. "Oh hey, you found a 1-Up!" She smiled. Odd how we're finding a lot of these all of a sudden… She thought. Could that mean anything? Probably means we're lucky.
The boy smiled and pointed up to the tower where Summer looked up. "Hmm? Wait… is that a ledge up there?" She wondered as she looked at the Faunus. "You're not afraid of heights, are you?" She asked as the boy responded by shaking his head no. "Thought so. Hang on!" She wrapped her arms around him and flew up.
When she got up on the top, they would see the flagpole already taken by Chiaki, and she was also lying on a lounge chair, with sunglasses over her eyes and was wearing her bikini, working on a suntan. Ibuki was also with her, playing her guitar alongside Rosalina, Mario, Gloria, the Branwens, Laxus, Yuffie, Ren, Xena and Umber.
"Oh hey, Summer-chan~!" Ibuki waved.
"How did you…?" Summer wondered.
"Gamer girl over here said there was something called a "shortcut strat", and could only get a few of us our attention." Laxus said. "Apparently, the "shortcut strat" that she spoke up was get that weird block that's with her, fly up on a Thwomp, activate the block and fly up, then boom, you're on the roof of this place. That's how I understood it, at least."
"Block?" Summer tilted her head as Chiaki picked it up.
"Propeller Box. Works just like a Propeller Mushroom."
"Ah." Summer nodded.
"Yeah, so we're just chillin' while everyone else is working their way up the long way." Ibuki smiled. "Oh, you're a little off key there, Rosie-chan."
"I thought I was…" Rosalina chuckled, tuning it and then strummed her guitar. "Much better~!"
"Might as well just chil, they might be a while." Yuffie said, doing some yoga.
"Yeah, good point." Summer nodded, deciding to lie on her back and looked up at the clouds.
Chiaki pulled out her Switch. "Let's see… what do I wanna do… ah, I think I'll play some Smash." She said as she felt eyes looking at her. She turned her head and saw the boy curiously looking at the Switch. "Oh hey little dude." She smiled as the boy tilted his head at the title.
Super Smash Bros Ultimate - SRS Edition
"Ibuki modded the heck out of this game, like, seriously, unlike in the original, there's team RWBY, JNPR, Shantae, Cuphead, Dante, Doom Guy… look, even I'm in the game~!" She giggled, selecting herself.
"Chiaki!"
"You wanna play? I can pull up another controller if you want." Chiaki offered as the boy nodded. "Alright!" She summoned a pro controller and handed it to him, to which he politely took and he curiously looked through the roster until he pointed to what he wanted. "Oh, you want him? Move that control stick and press the A button."
The boy pushed the stick, and to his amazement with his eyes sparkling in wonder, the cursor moved up as he pressed random buttons until he found what he was looking for.
"Ken!"
"Alright, you pick the stage." Chiaki offered as the boy looked around until he selected Hope's Peak Academy. "Oooh, good one!" She said. "Prepare to get your butt kicked."
They would witness Chiaki digitizing herself on the stage while Ken walked in. "Game on!"
"I'm ready for ya, bring it on!"
"Three! Two! One! Go!"
Meanwhile…
Everyone else walked out of the door and walked over, but would be stopped by a Wallop. "Eh? What the heck is this guy?" Ruby asked.
"Maybe it's a baby Whomp." Yang guessed.
"Cute before they get ugly…" Nora chuckled.
"I don't think that's a Whomp… I think I've heard of these things before. I think they're a… Wallop?" Luigi rubbed his head.
"Wallop, huh?" Daisy folded her arms. "What's so special about this guy?"
"Well, clearly, he's good at blocking our way." Shield Knight said, trying to move but the Wallop moved to the side to where she was.
"Hmm…" Cloud rubbed his chin. "I wonder." He decided to jump, which caused the Wallop to jump in rhythm. He narrowed his eyes and did it again, this time running across to get around it. "I don't think he's going to fall for it a second time."
"Nope." Barret aimed at the Wallop and fired a Firaga shot, knocking the Wallop on its back.
"Alternatively, I could've picked him up and threw him off." Tifa added.
"Or one of us using Graviga." Xion chimed in.
"Nah, that would've taken too long." Barret chuckled.
It took you a while to charge up that blast! Aerith thought as they walked ahead as they saw a block snake slithering around, the body consisting of Brick Blocks and ? Blocks, covered with spikes on top and two green ends, the front being the head and the back being the tail.
"What do we do with that?" Iris asked.
"Leave it alone? It doesn't look too bothersome." Weiss said.
SMASH!
They would quickly see Nora quickly destroying the Blokkablok with her hammer. "What? It might contain a power up!" She said as everyone sweatdropped.
"Well… I guess that answers that." Pit said as they walked through the door and saw a whole army of Wallops in front of them, only for Lea, Xion and Ven to use Graviga to trap them in the air, then they walked over safely and climbed, avoiding the Thwomp as they made their way to the door.
"What took ya long?" Xena teased.
"What the…?" Jade turned her head. "You weren't with us?"
"You guys were far ahead, you didn't hear about Chiaki-chan's shortcut strat!" Ibuki smiled. "Although, speed running strat would also work."
"You mean to tell us that you guys took a shortcut?" Sarge asked.
"Y no me invitaste?" (And you didn't invite me?)
"Yeah, we could've had a dance party!" Donut said. "Sheesh, I brought my dancing shoes for nothin'…"
"Welp… I guess we're all good to go now." Laxus said.

"Game! Ken wins!"
"Augh! You beat me again!" Chiaki said before giggling, raising her hand up. "Way to go, little dude! You're getting good at this game!" The boy tilted his head in confusion. "It's a high five. Ya kno-… ah, we'll figure that out later." She giggled, putting her Switch away and the controllers. "Let's go!"
The armadillo faunus nodded, having a pleased look in his eyes as he walked off to join the others.
"Went easy on him, eh~?" Ibuki gave her a knowing wink.
"I'll wait until he improves, and then I'll give him a good fight." Chiaki smiled as they walked off, entering a Warp Box, though Xena kept nudging Umber who was napping on her lap.
"Honey, it's time to go."
"Gah!" Umber sat up, panting. "Ugh…"
"Had that dream again?"
"Yes! And I have no idea what it's even about… let alone not remembering a thing." He rubbed his head. "Whatever, it's probably nothing." He walked off.
"If he's having the same dream, it has to mean something."
"Yeah… unfortunately, we don't know anything and neither does he."
"Hopefully we'll get our answer."
"You two comin'?"
"Yeah!" Xena nodded as she walked with him, where they went into the Warp Box, popping out into a beach area.
World 3-2: Underwater Horror
BGM: Beach Theme (Super Mario 3D Land)
"Desert to beach in an instant?" Weiss asked.
"Hey, gives us time to cool off!" Yang pointed out.
"Good point." Weiss nodded as the Mario Bros, Daisy and RWBY all dove in eagerly as did the others.
"I wonder…" Summer turned her head to see the boy having sunk like a rock in the ocean, though he had a curious expression as some Cheep Cheeps swam by as he sat down on the sea floor. "Aww, how cu- WAIT A SECOND!" She quickly swam through the water and grabbed the Faunus, then swam up the surface.
"Phew…" She sighed with relief. "So, I take it you don't know how to swim."
The boy nodded and decided to swim… by sinking back down to the water. "Sweetie, it's sinking." She said as she witnessed the Faunus attempting to take a leisurely stroll underwater. Summer quickly grabbed him again and pulled him up to shallower water. "No no, see, this is swimming." Summer swam around as the boy watched on with intrigue. "See how I'm kicking my legs and moving my arms?"
Meanwhile, with the others…
Ruby hit a ? Block as several Penguin suits came out as the girls would be wearing wet suits (Though Gloria opted to go into her Empoleon form) while the guys wore actual Penguin suits, although in Shovel Knight's case, his knight armor morphed into penguin armor. "I feel ridiculous…" Laxus said.
"Speak for yourself, I can breathe underwater now!" Barret said.
"…I'm with Laxus. I feel ridiculous." Isa said.
"I dunno, I feel kinda good in this." Lea smiled.
Cloud noticed the ? Block was still active. Please be a wet suit, please be a wet suit, please be a wet suit… He thought, closing his eyes as he hit the ? Block and took it, feeling himself transform. "…Did I get a wet suit?"
"No, but you look rather green." Xion said.
"…Green?" Cloud looked down to see that the ? Block had given him a Frog suit instead. His eye twitched. "I'd rather take the Penguin Suit!" He complained.
"I'd rather have a wet suit." Dark PIt mumbled.
"I look rather cute!" Pit said.
"Well, good for you then!" Dark Pit rolled his eyes as they swam around. A few friendly Bloopers waved at them while a few others laughed at Cloud's misfortune.
"…Tifa, I think we're gonna have fried calimari for dinner." Cloud said.
"Oh, don't be such a sour puss." Tifa laughed as they kept swimming around, until they saw a few Grimm Cheep Cheeps swimming toward them.
"I knew it! There are Grimm Cheep Cheeps!" Chiaki exclaimed.
"Then let's destroy these!" Daisy said as the Grimm Cheep Cheeps attempted to bite down on them with their razor sharp fangs, but were quickly frozen over by the ice balls, then Gloria cut through them to finish them off.
As they progressed, they saw Grimm Porcupuffers swimming toward them, firing spikes out of their heads to try and impale them, only to get hit by an icy Thoron attack from Dorothea, then they kept swimming ahead.
Blake's ears twitched. "Ruby…?"
"Yeah, something big's coming!" Ruby exclaimed as the ground underneath them shook until massive Grimm tentacles started shooting out of the sea floor.

"Wah! What the heck?!" Weiss yelped.
"We got trouble." Pyrrha said as a massive Blooper emerged out of the ground.
BGM: Phantamanta (Super Mario Sunshine)
"Mama mia, they got Gooper Blooper!" Luigi exclaimed as the Grimmified Gooper Blooper let out an aquatic roar.
Crushing Tentacles - Grimm Gooper Blooper
We're fighting in his territory… so this is gonna get wild fast. Chiaki thought as the massive Blooper swung his spiked tentacles to try and them, but they successfully avoided it as Blake activated the energy from Gambol Shroud and cut through a tentacle that was coming at her, but to her surprise, the tentacle grew back in an instant.
"Wha?!" Blake yelped as Cloud cut through a couple as Tifa and Yang swam ahead, swiftly avoiding the ink that was being shot out and they both Blizzaga Punched it in the face. It retaliated by sucking in water and spitting out a gigantic whirlpool that dragged them both down and trapped them into the ground right as Yuffie threw her ice shuriken at the giant beast.
Mario and Luigi both threw out ice balls at the Blooper while Byleth cut through a tentacle. "Rrrgh, no matter how many times we cut these things, they just grow back!" Byleth said as Raven swam over and cut the whole tentale off, then watched as it grew back at an instant. She let out a growl, activating her Maiden powers, conjuring up an ice sword and slashing while Laxus fired icy lightning bolts with Nora.
Nyx got into position and fired a few ice arrows while Xena conjured up icicles and telekinetically shot them with Weiss using her ice glyphs to help her out. The Grimm Glooper Blooper responded by swinging its tentacles at them and throwing out spikes as Rosalina threw an ice comet at it. Chiaki had summoned a Super Scope and started shooting out charged shots while Ibuki swung her guitar at the tentacles.
"Alright, here goes nothing!" Ruby said as she used her Silver Eyes to try and disintegrate the massive Blooper after Xion and Ven slashed it and Isa used his weapon to smack into the Grimm. Right on cue, the Grimm turned into stone. "Heheh." She smirked, but it immediately broke free of its prison. "What?!" She exclaimed as the Grimm turned to Ruby and grabbed a hold of her. "Nngh!" She grunted as she felt it started to squeeze the life out of her to the point where it got rid of the Penguin suit.
"Mmmph!"
"Ruby!" Yang yelled as Byleth, Pit, Blake, Weiss, Cloud and Iris quickly attempted to slash at the tentacle, but armor formed around the tentacle.
"Alright, that's it." Chiaki said, immediately going into her screen and summoning a Lightsaber as she swam ahead, but a tentacle grabbed a hold of her too. "Rrrgh!" She grunted, cutting through it as she went to Ruby, but a spike hit her square in the hand, making her drop it. "Agh!" She yelped while the Reds and Blues tried to shoot the Blooper.

The tentacle continued to squeeze Ruby to the point where she was forced to open her mouth. She desperately tried to fight it, but she felt everything starting to get dark as the tentacle shoved her into a wall as she tried to keep her eyes open, but it restrained her as everyone tried to fight it to get Ruby out of there…
…When another tentacle suddenly shot of the ground and socked the Grimm in the face. It let out a loud roar as another large Blooper emerged out of the ground.
Gooper Blooper himself.
BGM: Vs Boss (Super Mario Sunshine)
"Two?!" Blake exclaimed as Gooper Blooper spat out ink with pin point accuracy into the Grimm's eyes. It let out a roar as a few Bloopers came to help as one of them launched like a torpedo and slammed into the Grimm's gut as Gooper Blooper grabbed the tentacle that held Ruby hostage and snapped it apart with ease.
Ruby drifted downward as a Cheep Chomp came over and swallowed her up before swimminng up to the surface, while more Bloopers, Cheep Cheeps, Deep Cheeps, Spiny Cheep Cheeps, and a Dragoneel came out to help.
And behind the Grimm were a Gyarados, a few Porcupuffers, a Gorebyss, a Dragonair, a few Urchins, Sushi, a few Maw-Rays and an Octillery.
"I think we should leave it to these guys!" Tai said, and with a nod, everyone swam up to follow the Cheep Chomp.
The Grimm let out a growl and shot out spikes at the aquatic animals but they would easily avoid them as a Sushi headbutted an Urchin as it impaled the back of the Grimm Blooper, then the Sushi, along with the Maw-Rays and Dragoneel bit down on the Grimm while the Porcupuffer swam through and headbutted it, making sure to have its spikes impale it.
Gooper Blooper swung its tentacles, clobbering it in the head as his Grimm counterpart swung its own tentacles at him, but his fellow Bloopers torpedoed themselves into the tentacles to cancel them out, then the Cheep and Deep Cheeps tackled the Grimm while the Spiny Cheep Cheeps impaled the Grimm.
The Gyarados unleashed Dragon Rage, the Gorebyss used Psychic to throw the other Urchins into it. The Grimm tried to shoot out ink at them, but they gracefully dodged while the Dragonair used Dragon Dance and then together with the Octillery, they both used Hyper Beam.
The Grimm roared as it slowly started to drift as Gooper Blooper grabbed a hold of his Grimm counterpart from both sides and started to pull it. The Grimm started to yelp in pain as it tried to fight back… until Gooper Blooper ripped it in half, then it faded away.

On the surface, the Cheep Chomp spat out Ruby on the grass as Pit was the first one out of the water, taking the Penguin Suit off of him as he hurriedly tried to apply CPR on her. "Come on, come on Rubes… come on!" He said desperately as he applied mouth to mouth before pressing his hands on her chest and started to press hard. "COME ON!"
Everyone else came out of the water as Byleth instinctively cradled Ruby's head as her family and friends gathered around. "Is it working?" Yang hoped.
"Trying to!" Pit said, applying mouth to mouth again.
It was at that moment that a tentacle came out of the water and poked Pit on the shoulder. "Huh?" Pit turned his head as the tentacle pushed Pit to the side… and then swung down hard on Ruby's gut.
"Blagh!" Ruby spat out all the water as she coughed violently. "What…? Did we win?"
"Technically, they did." Weiss said, nudging her head as Ruby looked to the side as she saw Gooper Blooper poking his head out of the water.
"Wha?!" Ruby flinched in surprise as Gooper Blooper moved his tentacle and patted her on the head before disappearing into the water with all the other aquatic life.
"How do you feel?" Pit asked.
"Like I got sucker punched…" Ruby rubbed her head. "Why didn't my Silver Eyes work…"
"I wonder if it's because the bigger they are, the less likely they'll succumb to it… that's my guess." Byleth shrugged as Ruby staggered to her feet where Byleth, Yang and Pit helped her up, then she saw a Blooper breach out of the water and hopped over to them. "Huh? What's up, little guy?"
The Blooper hopped over to Chiaki and handed her her lightsaber. "Oh! Thanks!" Chiaki smiled, patting it on the head as the Blooper blushed before turning arond, hopping across the grass and dove back in.
"Never in her life would she see a win for the aquatic life… awesome!" Ibuki smiled as Rosalina healed up Chiaki's hand as she put it away, then they heard footsteps as they saw Summer and the armadillo Faunus approach.
"Well, we just had a blast doing swimming lessons." Summer said chipperly. "What'd we miss?"
One explanation later…
"What?!" Summer exclaimed in shock. "Oh my gosh, honey, are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine… I'm just gonna be bruised for a while…" Ruby said, holding on to her stomach while wincing.
"Well… I'm glad you're alright." Summer hugged her. "You still have it in you?"
"Of course, like a bruised abdomen will keep me down!" Ruby winked.
"That's good." Summer nodded as they would head off to the next area while Luigi stared into the water.
"…Something's fishy here… and I'm not liking it." He mumbled under his breath.
"Hey Weegie, you coming?" Mario called out.
"Yeah!" Luigi said as he walked off, but something in his mind was telling him that there was something bigger going on.
A few minutes later, they would find themselves surrounded by bubbles. "Oh! This is so cute!" Rosalina smiled.
"Yeah, it's so… bubbly!" Yang giggled.
"Oh hey, look at that one!" Caboose pointed to a bubble that was glowing.
"A glowing bubble? It might contain a power up." Grif said as it slowly descended toward him. He reached out for it. "There we go, easy does it… I almost got it! It's-"
Hiiiiiisssssss
"-BOILING HOT! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" He yelled.
"Boiling hot bubbles?" Ruby wondered as another one landed on a donut block up ahead, where upon contact, it melted a good portion of it. "Ack!" She yelped.
"It's acidic?!" Chiaki exclaimed in surprise.
"It's amazing what you can do with technology." A voice said as Dimentio appeared.
"What did you do…" Ruby glared.
"Why, I decided to go into a scrap yard. Found some spare parts, went to the good doctor to get him repaired and then I decided to add my own little touch to it. Behold, not only are there regular bubbles, but these are acid bubbles ready to burn you! Let's see if you can make it all the way to the end, I'll go ahead and time you."
BGM: Air Man Stage (Super Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS)
World 3-3 - Acidic Bubbly Land
Summer instinctively held on to the faunus, wrapping her arms around him as everyone started to run. Rosalina quickly used her force fields to block the acidic bubbles, but to her surprise, they ate through the force field. "What?!"
"Oh yes, I forgot to mention that I've made it potent enough to eat through your cosmic force fields. Ahahahaha~!"
"You gotta be kidding me…" Tai growled as they kept running. Grimm Stingbies would try to take them down along the way but they would get hit by the acidic bubbles and started to melt away.
The acid bubbles touched the platforms and donut blocks, melting them at an instant as everyone kept going, but the more they ran, the more the acid bubbles struck them, doing away with their penguin and frog suits but it was not enough to protect them.
Mario would see an Invincibility Star up ahead, while also seeing a Grimm Chomp being free from its chain, but melted five seconds later from it. Mario ignored the stinging pain and tried to go for the Invincibilty Star, but a larger acid bubble landed on the donut block and ate right through it, sending the Invincibility Star into the abyss. "No!"
"No cheating!" Dimentio laughed as he witnessed Summer getting hit by them. "Aren't you a ghost? You could easily let them go through you."
"Like… hell I will!" Summer winced, gritting her teeth to fight through the pain.
"Willingly letting yourself get hurt just to protect this unknown child? Truly, a mother's love knows no bounds. It almost makes me want to shed a tear. Almost! I wonder how more you could possibly take…" He said, watching them struggle to get through the area as the acid was fatiguing them immensely. "Could a ghost possibly get fatigued? Well, there's only one way to find out!"
Ibuki looked up ahead. "Over there!" She said, pointing toward the top of a platform near the end. "That's… That's Bubble Man up there!"
"Correction! Acid Bubble Man!" Dimentio smiled nonchalantly.
"I know what I have to do…" Chiaki said, summoning a Shroom Shake and gulped it down to give her a burst of energy, then she took a detour while everyone else went toward the melting flag pole.

Once Chiaki got on top, she was already wearing Mega Man armor. "Hey!" She called out to him.
"Hmm?" Bubble Man turned to her, as he had a radioactive symbol on his chest. "Well well well, if it isn't Mega… Girl…?"
"Never mind that. You need to stop hurting my friends!"
"Hmm… let me think… no."
"Then you leave me no choice." She said, pulling out two Metal Blades in her hands.

Acidic Robot Master - Acid Bubble Man
"Hah!" Chiaki threw the Metal Blades at him but he would quickly counter them with his Bubble Acid, melting them on contact. Chiaki growled as she aimed her Mega Buster at him and shot him up. Bubble Man was hit but chuckled, jumping up and shooing out radioactive bubbles at her.
Chiaki rolled out of the way as the bubbles hit the ground and melted it behind her as she threw the Quick Boomerang at him, but he ducked and then side stepped out of the way once the boomerang returned to her as he fired a point blank acid bubble at her. "Agh!" She yelped as she proceeded to throw another metal blade at him, as it hit him on the shoulder. Got ya!
"Hmhmhmhm." Bubble Man pulled it out of the shoulder. "That's not going to work this time!"
What?! Chiaki thought. Oh no, don't tell me he got rid of his weaknesses… She rolled out of the way to avoid some acidic bubble lead thrown her way. Guess I have to do this Pokemon style now! She thought as Bubble Man fired up several bubbles into the air as it started to rain down on her.
Chiaki charged up an attack as she ran up to Bubble Man. He let out a smirk from his mask and fired at Chiaki, but she slid under him and fired a point blank Spark Shock attack. "Rrrgh!" Bubble Man grunted as he turned around and hit Chiaki from the back. Chiaki let out a grunt as she turned around and fired the Thunder Beam, but Bubble Man blocked with a few bubbles and then sweep kicked Chiaki to knock her on her back, then the bubble rain finally came down and some of them latched on to her.
"Aaaagh!" She cried as Bubble Man fired a point blank shot at her. Chiaki got back up, using her Arm Cannon as support as she fired into the ground.
"Ha! Talk about a wasted shot." He said.
"I wouldn't get so cocky." She said as she fired a Thunder Bolt at him, knocking him away as he jumped up and fired acid bubbles at her, but she rolled out of the way as he landed where Chiaki came running up to him as he delivered a back hand, but she jumped to the side.
"Hah, predictable!" He said, firing a point blank Bubble Lead, which was enough to melt part of Chiaki's helmet off and her chest armor as well. Chiaki fell on one knee while wincing. "Heh, looks like you're all washed up!" He said confidently… until a Drill Bomb came out of the ground underneath him. "What?!" He yelled as the Drill Bomb skewered him and sent him up in the air.
Chiaki smirked, jumping up into the air with the help of Rush Coil as she threw down a Quick Boomerang and a Metal Blade at the same time, the former going around him while Chiaki charged up her Mega Buster and fired at the Metal Blade, giving enough momentum to saw through Bubble Man while the Quick Boomerang returned and struck Bubble Man on the head, right as the Drill Bomb exploded all at the same time.
"AAAAAAARGH!" The severed Bubble Man landed on the ground as Chiaki landed on the ground. "You… you… won't… beat me again…!" He said, aiming his arm cannon at her as she did the same, with hers all charged up.
"I already did." She fired one last charged shot into his face, which he exploded shortly after.

"Hah… hah…" Chiaki panted as she fell on her back, her energy spent. Of course, the acid that hit her was enough to drain her too.
Dimentio teleported to her. "My my, that took a grand total of five minutes. New record, honestly!"
"…I have… only one thing to say to you…" Chiaki looked at him. "Eff you…"
"Ahahaha, you're not one to curse… it's adorable, honestly." He aimed his hand at her. "What I could do is end your game right here, buuuut I'd prefer ending you when you're at full strength. It's much more fun that way." He put his arm down.
"Sa-says the guy… who got beaten up by… Namine… and…tr-tricked by… Snatcher… Was… that fun for you then?"
"Ahahaha… I will admit, I underestimated those two. But that won't happen again. Ciao for now!" He disappeared as Chiaki lay on her back.
"And to think… I let him hang out with us while trying to recreate that bread monster…"
A shadow overlapped her as she looked up to see Ibuki. "Need a hand?"
"Heh… hey metal head…" Chiaki weakly smiled as she grabbed her hand and was pulled up, she wrapped an arm around Ibuki's neck. "You… you got a lot of acid burns on you."
"Yeah, and so does everyone else. Summer-chan received the worst of it, but the Faunus boy didn't get a single burn on him."
"That's good…"
"Oh, and Palutena-chan contacted Pit-chan. She said there's a surprise waiting for us at the end."
"Oh? It's probably floor ice cream…" Chiaki let out a small laugh while Ibuki snickered.
Once they got away from the acid ridden course, they kept walking until they saw a hot spring up ahead with everyone sitting in it and getting themselves healed up. "Hey you guys!" Pit waved them over.
"Oh, a hot spring…" Chiaki smiled.
"Thought you guys would need some R&R after those acidic bubbles." Palutena said. "Oh, and I also addeda little extra ingredient in there. It pretty much restores your clothing from the acid!"
"Thanks Palutena-chan~!" Ibuki smiled as the two of them hopped in as everyone closed their eyes and enjoyed the relaxing hot spring, the faunus in particular cuddled up next to Summer and Ruby.
This is what happens when I start playing both Mega Man Legacy Collections for the first time (And Mega Man in general) on the Switch. It was only a matter of time before I started to get ideas.

Screw Mega Man 7 and 8 to hell though. Oh, and Strikers Battle League is really fun!
