Gambit had dropped Rogue off in front of her school. They had received a few looks and Gambit had put it together that Rogue would be gossiped about as it looked like she was dating an older man. Gambit didn't seem to mind this. Sure, it might make him look kind of like a paedophile hitting on an underage girl which he wasn't alright with, but Rogue was almost eighteen and he wasn't far off her age. Surely, people would acknowledge that. And besides, Rogue didn't seemed to be bothered by it. In fact, Gambit thought Rogue didn't seem to realise that all these new kids thought she was taken. He thought that was an advantage too. If people thought she was taken, then the boys might back off and she might not flirt and land herself in a tough situation. But, then again, knowing teenage boys, he doubted that would be the case with all of them. He'd just have to make sure people knew to back off.
With that thought, Gambit called Rogue back.
"Cherie?" he called.
Rogue turned to him, walking back slightly.
"You know you be goin' to de principle's office to finish signing up and to get your class rota, non?" he said, drawing her closer.
Rogue rolled her eyes and huffed. She hadn't been too sure where she was going, but she wasn't going to let Gambit know that.
"Yeah, I ain't stupid ya know."
"Non, ya ain't." Gambit said, reaching forwards and scooping Rogue's hand up before she could noticed what he was doing. He kissed her hand, lingering.
Rogue soon pulled it away, but Gambit was already grinning since he noticed a group of girls and boys stood around nodding their understanding that Rogue was taken.
"You have a good day now, non. And try not to cause too much trouble." He said.
Rogue just huffed and stormed away from him. Gambit took off, parking out of sight from the school then returning back on foot to hide in the shadows around the school and make sure Rogue was alright.

Rogue had made her way to the principal's office. She had had people looking at her and gossiping about her as she passed them. It made her feel slightly uncomfortable. She was used to balls where people would talk and ask who she was, but this felt…different.
"Hi," Rogue said to the receptionist. "I'm Rogue. I'm new-"
Rogue got cut off by the receptionist and was told to take a seat. She did, feeling uncomfortable as she waited.
A girl with purple hair left the principal's office when Rogue was called forwards. The purple haired girl's eyes seemed to grow wide at seeing her, but she looked away then walked away.
Rogue entered the office, staying mostly quiet as the principle went on and on. She got her class schedule and didn't fully understand it as she read over it. Rogue was told to make her way towards the gym for an assembly. She just followed the other students who seemed to know where they were going.
Rogue felt extremely uncomfortable. She'd never been this quiet in a public setting for so long. She felt awkward at not knowing what to say or do. She guessed this was why all those teens in the movies she watched didn't like it when they had to attend a new school.
"Excuse me," a voice called out to Rogue as she walked across the gym to find a seat. Rogue blinked and saw the girl with purple hair from the office before, "Sorry, I couldn't help but notice your new here too. My name's Risty. Risty Wild from Manchester, England." She said.
Rogue blinked then tried to smile. "Yeah, I'm Rogue. Your new too?" Rogue said as she sat down in the free space besides Risty.
"Yeah. I'm just looking at my classes. Which one's do you have?" she asked.
"Oh, well I…" Rogue said, pulling out her schedule and glancing down at it, confused. She still hadn't figured this whole schedule thing out yet.
"Oh look, you had Mr Sherman for maths. So do I!" Risty said, "It's nice to know I'll have a friend in there instead of being on my own."
"Friend?" Rogue said, turning to stare at Risty questioningly.
"Yeah, you know. Us two are new and all. We can stick together rather than face this lot alone." Risky said, pointing behind her to the larger group of students. "I'm pretty sure that makes us friends, doesn't it?" Risty questioned.
Rogue wasn't exactly sure if they were friends or not. She'd only really considered people friends after she'd known them for a little while. She didn't know you could just meet someone and call them a friend. But, then again, isn't that how it happened in the movies?
Rogue smiled, "Yeah, friends." Rogue said.
The students were then told to be silent by a teacher as he introduced the new principle. Rogue and Risty went silent, Rogue still smiling, feeling thrilled at this was actually happening to her.
A few minutes into the speeches though, the whole building trembled. When it stopped, Rogue glanced around at the students and spotted, not far behind her two students who she recognised from the folders Magneto had given her. One was Kitty Pride, a.k.a. Shadowcat, the girl who could walk through walls and the other was Lance Alders, a.k.a. Avalanche and the boy who could cause earthquakes if he wanted to. Rogue watched them briefly, seeing that Kitty was chuckling and Lance looked thrilled. Rogue noticed those signs anywhere. They were flirting. That hadn't been in the files. Kitty and Lance had a relationship going on while they were on two different teams? Strange.
Rogue watched Lance say something to Kitty then the room began to shake again and the score board above the principle fell. Rogue turned to see that, then noticed it change direction in mid-air. She knew that was a power too. Telekinesis. The trembling stopped and Rogue eyed the crowd again. That's when she saw the red head, Jean Grey, who she read had the power of telekinesis and telepathic abilities.
Rogue noticed Kitty looked angry at Lance, then turn away. So, that relationship looked like it had it's issues. Now Rogue could understand why there wasn't much information on Lance and Kitty's relationship in the files. The two had different values. So maybe they really weren't together. But, were they?
"Whoa, I knew America had it's fair share of earthquakes, but two at once. Whoo." Risty said, drawing Rogue's attention back to her.
Rogue placed a smile on her face, realising that Risty didn't know about the mutants and that it made sense for a normal person to blame what just happened on a natural disaster.
"Yeah, crazy." Rogue forced a laugh.
They continued to listen to the principle, only, Rogue's mind went back to her conversation with Magneto. She'd barely been there five minutes and, already, the other mutants were using their powers. Lance had wanted to use his to show off and impress Kitty, but Kitty, who was obviously interested in Lance and amused the first time, had shot him down. There relationship was complicated because Lance wanted to use his abilities, but Kitty didn't want him to.
Then Jean had used her abilities to save the principle. She didn't look happy after she did it. But, there, again, was something she and Magneto talked about. That the X-Men wanted to use their powers to help people but wanted to stay quiet.
Rogue guessed, if Lance did get found out that he used his powers to almost crush the principle, he'd get into trouble. But, she guessed Jean would have probably been praised for saving the principle's life, wouldn't she? Well, she'd never know because the girl kept quiet about it. This was all interesting to know and see. Rogue wasn't too sure what to make of the whole thing just then, but she had the whole of her high school experience to find out. Well, at least until Magneto decided to reveal mutants. She kind of doubted he'd let her return to school then. So she'd just have to enjoy it.

Rogue was struggling. One of her first classes was English. She noticed Scott Summers, or Cyclopes, was in her class. She wanted to sit as far away as she could from him, but the only free seat was behind him. Rogue took it, wondering if this was a good idea. She kind of wished Risty was there for her to turn to. She kind of did feel like the girl was a friend now. She had no idea how to make friends in the class. The teacher had tried to get her to come to the front of the class and say a few words about herself, but she refused. What would she say? Hi, I'm Rogue and I'm a mutant who's been locked away her whole life by two crazy foster moms, then I got broken out of prison by a mutant called Magneto who wants meh ta understand why humans won't accept mutants and sent meh ta school ta learn why? Yeah, that wouldn't go down well. So she just sat down and stayed quiet.
She overheard people talking about her and Gambit as well. They said she was dating someone older. They criticised her for flirting while she was in a relationship. They debated if she was. Called her a slut. They criticised her for her clothes. About why she was all covered up if she was a slut who could woo guys over so easily. They even criticised her for being quiet. Rogue shrunk down in her seat, feeling uncomfortable. She'd had eyes on her in the passed before at all the balls Mystique dragged her to, but this was much different. Much much different. At the balls, everyone loved her and she knew what to do and what to say and she was always on point. Here, she was completely out of her comfort zone with no clue how to savage her reputation or how to win people over or dress or even speak. Maybe school really wasn't all what it was cracked up to be, Rogue thought.
Gambit was watching her through the window from up a tree. He felt bad for her, seeing how uncomfortable she looked. The Rogue he knew wouldn't take crap from anyone, not that he could hear what was being said, but he could guess. She looked to be… almost shy in this situation. He guessed she was uncomfortable because she really didn't know how to deal with the situation. He also noticed that she'd sat behind Cyclopes. He didn't like that one bit.
The teacher began handing out scripts and setting the homework. He assigned Scott and Rogue a script and Rogue's face dropped. Scott had turned around to smile at her. Rogue turned away, pouting and looking miserable.
"Hey, good luck Scott. I don't think new girl's said two words to anyone while she's been here. Well, except maybe Josh." The guy speaking to Scott said. "Who knows, maybe you'll get lucky, huh?" the blonde haired guy glanced at Rogue who was glaring at him for implying she was a slut, "Or, maybe you'll have to do both parts yourself."
The class then began to chuckle. Rogue slide down further in her seat.
"Shut up Paul!" Scott snapped back.
Yeah, Rogue's day was not starting off well.

Maths didn't go any better. Risty was there and they sat close together, but Rogue didn't understand a single math's question put in front of her. Risty let her copy off her test though so that was good. Rogue was remembering Gambit's words though when it came to basketball. He said it was better to learn a skill than steal it. She guessed she was seeing his point a bit more here. After all, Risky wasn't in all her classes and she couldn't just go around stealing people's answers.
Gambit saw Rogue getting close to the girl with purple hair who was letting her copy off her work. He didn't know who that girl was and made a note to do some research on her.

At dinner, Risty found Rogue and they sat together. Unfortunately, it was near the group of X-Men and Brotherhood mutants. Rogue overheard the one known as Kurt Wanger, a.k.a. Nightcrawler and Scott talking about her.
"You and the Rogue. That is a strange combination, ya?" Kurt said.
"Yeah, I gotta play a romantic scene with a girl who's new, already got a reputation for having an overprotective, older boyfriend and who hasn't spoken to anyone. I have no idea how this is gonna turn out." Scott said.
"My friend, you have got to invite me to the rehearsals." Kurt laughed.
Scott joined in laughing.
"Take no notice of them. People are always jerks to the new guys. We just gotta harsh it out, right?" Risty said.
Rogue sighed, noticing a large guy, Fred Duckes, a.k.a. the Blob, heading towards his table where the Brotherhood were sitting.
"Yeah, I guess you're right." Rogue said, appreciating the advice.
Then Blob tripped and his food landed on the guy called Duncan Matthews. She'd heard about him already. A lot of the cheerleaders fancied him since he was the most popular guy in school.
Everyone in the cafeteria began laughing at Blob who got mad and yelled, "Stop laughing at me!"
A food fight then broke out. Rogue ducked some food being thrown over her head. She then felt a hand grasp her wrist. She became stiff and scared at the contact even though she was protected.
"Come on, let's get out of here!" Risty said, pulling Rogue towards the doors.
"OK," Rogue said, letting Risty pull her away.
Rogue looked back though and saw that girl, Kitty, start to phase through the floor. There! The girl used her powers! Rogue also saw Jean start to approach Blob.
Risty had got them out the doors, but Rogue pulled out of Risty's grip.
"Wait, I wanna see this." Rogue said, now looking through the glass to see what Jean was going to do. Was she going to use her powers? Was a fight about to start?
Rogue watched the Blob swinging a table in the air and was about to throw but Jean had slipped and was yelling out to him to stop. But it didn't look like he was going to. Then, a red beam shot out. Rogue gasped, seeing it had come from Scott's eyes who was now approaching Jean. Scott was besides Jean and Jean looked to be trying to talk everyone down.
Rogue then noticed Scott was walking towards the doors. Rogue ran away from the doors and towards her locker. She noticed Risty had disappeared. She didn't question that and just hide behind her locker door, pulling out a book.
Rogue glanced at Scott as he began to walk towards her.
"Hey, don't forget, today after school, we'll rehearse those lines." Scott said to her.
"Ah-huh," Rogue said, watching him walk passed.
Blob then stormed out of the cafeteria saying, "I don't need your help, X freak!"
Rogue, again, hid in her locker as the Blob passed. After he passed, Rogue sighed, then walked to her next class.

Gambit had seen the food fight break out and just smirked to himself. Those mutants sure were making a display of their abilities. Winning Rogue over to see Magneto's way was going to be easier than he thought.

After school, Rogue came out of school to find Risty grabbing her arm.
Rogue gasped and pulled away.
"Hey, sorry! Didn't mean to frighten you or anything." Risty said, backing off.
"No, it's not that. I just, well, I don't like to be touched." Rogue said.
"Oh, gotcha." Risty said, "Hey, isn't that huck the guy everyone's been talking about you dating?" Risty asked, pointing her finger towards Gambit who was parked up outside the school and leaning against his bike.
Rogue sighed.
"So, are you seeing him?" Risty asked.
Rogue glanced at her, looking a bit flustered.
"Come on, you can tell me. I'm your friend after all." Risty said, smiling at her.
Rogue smiled back and placed some of her long hair behind her ear. She hadn't had time to cut it today, so she'd just let it stay long. She really needed to cut it when she got back.
"Well," Rogue said, guessing Risty was right, "no, we're not dating. Although, he seems to think we are. He keeps tryin' ta woo meh or something." Rogue said.
"Do you want him to woo you? Do you like him?" Risty asked.
"What? No!" Rogue snapped suddenly, blushing. "I just live with him and he just keeps comin' on ta me. Think he's not used ta bein' told no so that's why he keeps flirtin' with meh."
"Ohhhh, so that gossip with you flirting earlier with Josh while you had a boyfriend. That wasn't exactly true?" Risty asked.
"Well, no. I'm not with him." Rogue said.
"Do you like Josh?" Risty questioned.
"No, I just flirted with him ta get a free sandwich, then he came along and now the whole school thinks I'm a slut and datin' an older guy." Rogue said, pointing at Gambit when she meant to say him. She'd almost tripped over her words, not wanting to use Gambit's code name, just encase that was weird. She didn't remember any high school movies using code names.
"Wait, you flirted with Josh to get a free sandwich?" Risty asked, laughing.
"Well, I was hungry and didn't have any money." Rogue snapped.
"Rogue, you really are funny, you know that?" Risty said.
Rogue looked at Risty confused. Was she funny? She didn't feel like she was funny. In fact, after being called a slut and gossiped about all day she felt cheap and easy and horrible. She put her head down, trying to blink back tears.
"But seriously! Who you live with, aren't they giving you any money? Or stopping tall, dark and handsome from flirting with you?" Risty asked, noticing Rogue's upset.
Rogue took a deep breath, remembering how Mystique had taught her that tears and emotion were weakness and not necessary. But it really did hurt. More than having her leg broken yesterday. Being made fun of and called a slut. It really was getting to her. But she sucked it up and just got on with it.
"Well, I kinda forgot to ask for money from our, erm, career today. And, with the flirting, well I'm not too sure. He knows about it. I think he's tryna do something ta stop it, but so far…"
"It's not working?" Risty asked.
Rogue sighed, "Yeah," Rogue said, glancing at Gambit who was cocking his head sidewards.
"Well, there are plenty of ways to sort that out! Have you tried telling him no? Been distant with him? Scared him? Threatened to beat him if he touches you?" Risty asked.
Rogue raised her eyebrow at that. If Risty was guessing these things which she'd already done that would work for making a boy back off, did that mean what Rogue had done was normal?
"Tried them and punching him as well. It doesn't seem ta be workin'" Rogue sighed.
It… kind of felt nice to confide in someone else about her problems. She doubted she could talk about this with one of the guys. It'd just make her look weak. But, for some reason, she didn't feel weak admitting this to Risty. Probably because she was making a big deal out of it where she wasn't and trying to help her out without her even asking.
"Oh, he's a clingy one, huh? Then I think the best thing we can do is spread the rumour that you're not seeing him! Then, you can see some other guy and he'll get the message that way that your taken." Risty said.
"What, no! I mean, I'm not on the datin' market." Rogue said.
"Oh," Risty said, looking confused.
"For boys do you mean?" Risty asked.
"What? No! I mean, well I… I'm just not lookin' ta date anyone at the moment!" Rogue said.
"Ok, ok, I understand. Don't worry, we'll figure out some way to make him back off. Although, I wouldn't suggest getting on that bike with him. It'd send the wrong message if you know what I mean." Risty said.
Rogue sighed, "Yeah, I'm supposed to be meeting Scott after school anyway ta go over our English assignment."
Risty looked shocked by this information. "Really? You didn't say."
Rogue shrugged, raising her eyebrow. It wasn't like she had to tell Risty everything, did she? Well, hadn't really close friends on the movies she watched told their best friend everything? Was Risty her best friend?
"I best go tell 'em," Rogue said, pointing at Gambit, "that I ain't goin' back with him now."
"Right. Oh, you're coming to the game tonight, right?" Risty asked, stopping Rogue from walking towards Gambit.
"Huh? Well, I don't know." Rogue said, looking down and away, "People don't really seem ta like me."
"Oh, forget about that!" Risty said, coming a few steps down, "Let's go tonight and make fun of them all, yeah? It'll be fun!"
Rogue laughed at that. "Sure. I'll see ya then." Rogue said.
"Bye Rogue." Risty said, walking away.
Gambit had been waiting patiently. He didn't like how much time Rogue was spending with Risty. Sure, he was glad she'd made a friend when it seemed like she wasn't the most popular girl in school, but he didn't trust that girl. He was planning to do some digging into who she was. He just wanted to get Rogue home first before he did so she didn't get into trouble. Well, not too much trouble. Besides, somehow, he'd felt her emotions from where he stood. He guessed he didn't need to be an empath to know that she'd had a rough first day or that she was sad. But he'd felt her sadness when talking to her friend. He didn't like it. He didn't want her to be sad. But he guessed she just had to learn what the world truly was like out there the hard way to fully understand things. He had wanted to go over to Rogue or beep his horn at her to hurry up, but he stopped himself from doing that because he was sure that would just make her go more towards this new found friend of hers and he didn't want to push her towards Risty. So he waited, until, Rogue finally said good bye to her friend and walked towards him.
Gambit smiled at Rogue.
"Have a good day, Cherie?" he asked, already knowing the answer.
Rogue shrugged. "Wasn't bad." Rogue said.
Gambit gave a sympatric smile at that, knowing she was lying. "School not all it's cracked up as you thought it'd be?"
"Not really, but it's just the first day after all." Rogue said. She didn't want to be honest with Gambit and have him rub it in her face. Yes, the first day had been horrible, but maybe it could get better, Rogue thought while sparing a glance back at Risty. She had made a new friend after all and that felt great. "Tomorrow might be better," she said, guessing that, over time, she was Risty would hopefully become good friends and even best friends. She'd never had a best friend after all and she would love to have one.
Gambit had to let a soft smile grace his lips at seeing Rogue look away from him while putting her hair behind her ear and trying to hide a half smile. The girl had hoped. Hope hadn't been something he'd seen in a long time. It was nice. But, kind of bitter sweet at the same time. He wasn't looking forward to when that hope became lost. He wished it would stay with her forever, but it was a harsh world they lived in.
Gambit moved to pass Rogue a helmet.
"Come on Cherie, I'll take ya home." Gambit said.
"Oh, actually, I made plans ta meet someone after school." Rogue said.
Gambit raised his eyebrow at this. He'd been watching her all day and he didn't see her make any plans. Were they with that purple haired girl.
"Oh?" Gambit said, feeling… slightly disappointed, "You don't like spendin' time with us no more, Cherie? I'm hurt!" Gambit said.
Rogue rolled her eyes, but had a smirk on her face.
"It's homework swamp rat. Ain't really anything fun." Rogue said.
Now Gambit smirked, leaning back on his bike. "Homework, huh. You know, I could help you out if you need a tutor."
Rogue scoffed, "Yeah right!"
"You remember what I told you at de basketball court, non?" Gambit said.
Rogue's face dropped. Yeah, she had remembered that at one point today.
"Ain't no need to be ashamed of askin' moi for help. I be more than willin' to." Gambit said.
His face looked genuine, but Rogue was sure there was something flirty in his words. There always seemed to be with him.
"Thanks, but you can't help meh with this. I'm supposed ta be readin' a script with someone for a class. They should be around." Rogue said.
"Who you workin' with? Dat girl from before?" he asked, seeing Rogue look around.
"Who, Risty?" Rogue asked, looking back at Gambit. Gambit was sure he saw Rogue look uneasy as she went to answer his question, "No, it's, erm, Scott Summers."
Gambit's eyebrow rose. "Scott Summers? De One Eye?" Gambit asked, now searching for the mutant himself.
"Yeah," Rogue said, searching for Scott as well now she saw Gambit looking, "I didn't pick ma partner. We were just put together. We've got ta do it or else we'll get in trouble." Rogue explained.
"Frankly, I think it be best if you got detention." Gambit said, he eyed Rogue and saw her looking upset.
"I've already had a rough start because a you. I don't want another reason for people ta dislike me!" Rogue snapped.
"Moi?" Gambit questioned, tilting his head. "What I'd do?"
"Ya made me seem like a slut!" Rogue snapped at him, now glaring. "Everyone's avoidin' meh now 'cause they think I cheated by flirtin' with someone else." Rogue snorted, then she remembered how awkward her conversation with Risty was about Gambit. "What is ya name anyway?" Rogue asked.
Gambit's eyebrows threated together.
"You know moi name." He said.
Rogue rolled her eyes, "Your code name, but people's been askin' meh who ya are. I can't tell 'em ya code name now, can I?" Rogue said.
Gambit chuckled and smirked.
"You been talkin' 'bout me, huh Cherie? Tellin' all does Garcons you taken, non?" Gambit said.
Rogue tsked, "As if! I'm tellin' people we ain't together. You just won't stop flirtin' with meh!" Rogue snapped.
Gambit's face fell, "Dat hurts, Cherie. You sure you wanna be tellin' folks that though? They know you're on the market, you gonna have boys comin' after ya left right and centre. You sure you'll be able to fight em all off?"
Rogue huffed, "I'll deal with em if it ever comes ta that." Rogue said.
Gambit almost felt like laughing. The girl had no idea how beautiful she really was. "De names Remy. Remy LeBeau, Cherie." Gambit said, scooping Rogue's hand up too fast for her to acknowledge and kissing it, "and soon, every garcon in dat school of yours gonna know I be de homme who won your heart." He finished.
Rogue groaned and pulled her hand away. "As if!" Rogue said.
"Lance, just forget it!" both Gambit and Rogue heard the voice of Kitty Pride shirk.
They turned to watch what was unfolding. There was some sort of disagreement between Lance and Kitty happening. They were by Lance's ride with the rest of the Brotherhood inside. Lance grabbed Kitty's hand and she phased through it, setting herself free.
Rogue raised her eyebrow. Again, the X-Men had used their powers. Although, Rogue thought, having that girl's powers would be extremely helpful in keeping Gambit's hands off her. She knew she wasn't supposed to, but she'd have to give that girl a little tap sometime when it was safe.
Rogue and Gambit watched how Scott then appeared and he and Lance began shoving each other. Rogue's eyes grew wide as Scott went to touch his eyes again. Was he seriously going to use his powers out in the open?
Kitty seemed to calm him down and he stopped. The two began walking in their direction.
Rogue couldn't believe it though. Scott had really looked like he'd wanted to use his powers, but couldn't. She… kind of understood how that felt. How frustrating it must have been. She still wasn't completely sure as to whether mutants coming out though was right.
Scott looked up and seemed to spot her. "Oh, Rogue." He said, "Hi, erm," Scott muttered after eyeing Gambit who still had those sunglasses on.
Rogue looked between the two men. Gambit was grimacing and Scott looked uncomfortable.
"Hi, I was gonna find ya. You ready?" Rogue asked.
"Erm, yeah. We can go sit over at the benches." Scott said, "That is, if you still can." He said, looking back at Gambit.
"Yeah, 'course I can." Rogue said.
"Right," Scott said, "I'll see you later then Kitty." Scott said turning to Kitty.
"Yeah, see ya." Kitty said, eyeing everyone and then leaving.
Rogue turned to Gambit, "Oh, I'm goin' ta this sports thing after this as well so don't wait up." Rogue said.
Gambit's eyebrow rose. Again, this was something he didn't know about. This girl certainly was full of surprises.
"Non, I can still come get ya. Why you goin' to it anyway? Who ya goin' with?" Gambit asked.
Rogue frowned deeply. "That's nona your business!" Rogue snapped at him.
Scott stood between the two southerners, feeling awkward at their argument.
Gambit was frowning now too. "I think it is." He said, raising his eyebrow and glancing at Scott for Rogue to understand.
Rogue just tsked though. "I'm goin' with Risty. The girl ya saw meh talkin' to before. Anyway, I gotta go. We're runnin' outta time ta learn these lines." Rogue said, turning on her heel and walking towards the bench that Scott said they'd rehearse at.
"Cherie," Gambit called.
Rogue glanced back at him over her shoulder. He'd risen his hand, shielding Scott from the view, but Rogue could see his black and red eyes and they looked serious.
Rogue sighed, "I know, alright. Don't worry 'bout meh, ok?" Rogue said, shooting Gambit a soft, but pleading look. She didn't want him making a fuss. If he did, it would only make things at school look worse for her.
Gambit placed his sunglasses back on and nodded his head. "Call moi when you need a ride, 'k." Gambit said.
"Alright, really, we gotta go." Rogue said, walking off. Scott followed uncomfortable behind her.
As they walked off Gambit glared at Cyclops. He didn't like this. Not one bit.
