Chapter Thirty
Kendall felt soft kisses being placed all over her face, but she kept her eyes closed.
"Baby, you need to get up."
She smiled at Naruto's voice in her ear but kept her eyes closed.
"No! You drained all my energy form last night." She buried her face in a pillow and Naruto snickered.

All his friends looked down and Naruto felt kind of bad as he unconsciously took a bight out of the sandwich he had been holding.

Shana nodded and turned her back as she gathered somethings in the kitchen. Naruto continued to eat the sandwich until there was nothing left. He rubbed his stomach before motioning Shikamaru to follow him. The two went to the balcony and looked out over the edge at the city skyline.
"So how much they need?"
"Excuse me?"
"I figured you were the on who helped out with the financial stuff while Temari took care of the permits so how much they need?"
Shikamaru sighed. "Well together they saved up fifty thousand dollars?"

Shikamaru laughed. "Well it was actually a complete group effort. Biggs threw in like half of each his checks including the ones from his photo shoots on the side. Shana has been working as a chef at this restaurant downtown while Starr and Davon have been running security at a bunch of clubs. Plus they all used to living broke so it wasn't hard to save money."
"But still. Fifty thousand dollars."
"They also might have sold some of your stuff on eBay."
"That sounds more like it. But it's crazy that they raised that type of money."
"Yeah they're really invested into this. The plan is to one day open an actual restaurant."
Naruto nodded. "Well your my manager and after the Lambo's you've had me on a strict spending cap."
"Well the truck cost them about fifteen thousand so if you can throw that back to them it would be fine."
Naruto nodded and the two went back into the apartment.
"Alright Lashanda Smith, tell me why I should invest in your business?"
"Lashanda? No one has called me that since high school."
Naruto shrugged. "Well if your gonna start a business then you better get used to hearing it. So Lashanda your business plan?"
"Well we already have the truck and a spot opened up at Staples for the next season so we wanna open soon to build a portfolio to put in for the spot. While the truck is getting detailed we advertise and hopefully get a shout out from you. Then we wow them with our food."
The All Star nodded and rubbed his chin. "What about staff?"
"Well I'll be in charge of food. Starr and Biggs are gonna be my assistants while Davon is gonna drive. And Micey finishes her degree next year and she'll take over the financial stuff."
"Who will be in charge of that it till then."
"Shikamaru and Temari said they'll run it till then."
Naruto nodded. "Well I'll tell you this I'll give you guys fifteen thousand dollars right now and then I'll throw in a free non refundable twenty thousand dollars if you guys can open within the next month and I'll even invite my teammates to the opening I of course will be in San Francisco but I'll make sure ya'll get exposure."
Shana looked around at everyone as all eyes fell on her as Naruto extended his hand.
"Thirty days...deal."
The two shook hands and Naruto smirked.
"I look forward to your success."

I know I've said this before but I honestly have been super busy over the last few months. I try to write a little when I get the chance but I don't get it often. As for this story you can see the Lakers fell to the Spurs in the second round without Naruto. My plan is for him to work with a few people over the summer while filming the movie. I also gave his friends from philly their own side story to give them something to do and now they add a bit more to the story. I apologize for the long wait and I'll do my best to get the next one out as soon as I can.
