"Spring is right around the corner, yet winter continues to be a lion. Tonight will be a cold one as a massive blizzard will strike the Mushroom Kingdom. Bundle up and stay safe out there, it's gonna get cold out there. May no one turn into snowmen."

"Another blizzard?" Peach wondered. "Goodness, this is ridiculous." She would look out the window to see the wind and the snow pelting the Mushroom Kingdom. "Oh, it's already here. Well, I hope nothing crazy happens…"

Peach pulled out her phone, letting out a soft sigh as she looked through her social media, and then a notification popped up in front of her.

Looks like a bad one tonight. You feeling alright? - Zelda

Peach responded back. Oh, i'm fine. I'm just sick of these blizzards. It's been warming up for a while and then we get blizzard after blizzard after blizzard. Sick of it.

Yeah, that's understandable.

Tell me about it!

Want me to come kidnap you? Hyrule's pretty warm right now.

LOL! You "kidnapping me" is a nice change of pace compared to Bowser.

So that's a yes? I'll come get ya!

Sure. Let me tell Toadsworth real quick.

K! I'll meet you in the lobby.

Peach walked over to Toadsworth's room, gently knocking on his door. "Toadsworth?"

"Zzzz… mmm?"

"I'm going to Hyrule for a little bit, Zelda's "kidnapping me"." She let out a few giggles.

"Zzz… that's fine-zzzz…"

Peach smiled and walked away where LttP Zelda teleported in. "Yo! You ready to go?"

"Of course." Peach smiled.

"Then let's-" Both of them heard Bowser's laugh echoing nearby. "Huh?"

"Bowser? He usually never stages a kidnapping this late at night…" Peach said.

"One moment." Zelda walked over to the doors and opened them up. "HEY BACK OFF, BIG GUY! I CALLED DIBS ON HER FIRST!"

Peach sweatdropped. Oh dear…

Zelda turned around. "So, shall we?"

"Yes, let's." Peach nodded as Zelda took her hand and with the power of Farore's Wind, the two of them teleported away.

A moment later, Grimm Ruby walked in. "Huh? Strange, I thought the blonde bimbo was supposed to be here." She said, looking at her device and with a press of a button, Bowser's laugh was heard.

She scratched her head before shrugging it off. "Oh well, I can figure out a way to lure Ruby in another way, without Peach."

She teleported away, straight into Peach's room as she casually whistled, pulling the covers off and then walked to the balcony door. "Hmm, it looks like these hinges are pretty worn…" She mused, as the wind blew the balcony door open. She got an idea and proceeded to punch the hinges to break them further.

"There, now it looks like the bimbo has been kidnapped." She teleported away with a chuckle.

Later, moments prior to Peach returning to the Mushroom Kingdom…

"Aaaah, as much as I love the sun… I think it'd be best if I returned home." Peach said, as she was out in Gerudo Town. She had turned to Urbosa. "Thank you so much for your hospitality, Urbosa!"

Urbosa smiled. "It's my pleasure." She said. "You want me to escort you home? The Yiga Clan's been acting up again, I'd hate to see you get kidnapped or killed by those bozos."

"Hmm… sure."

"Excellent." Urbosa turned to Zelda. "You want to come with?"

"Sure!" Zelda smiled.

In the present…

"And that's the story of where I was at." Peach finished.

"Hmm, I suppose when you said Zelda "Kidnapped you", those two words just stuck to my head." Toadsworth mused before chuckling. "Apologies."

Peach sighed. "Unfortunately, you sent them all on a wild goose chase…"

"Did you write down a note that you were gone?" Urbosa asked.

Peach blushed in embarrassment. "It all happened so quickly… I hadn't thought of writing a note."

"So you relied on Toadsworth… although considering he's gone senile…"

"I beg your pardon, miss Zelda! But I'm still fine at my old age!"

"You had a heart attack over nothing!"

"That's not entirely true!"

"Oh really?"

Peach put her hand on her chin. "Although, I can't help but shake this feeling that they wandered right into a trap."

"You think so?" Toadsworth asked.

"Yes." Peach nodded and turned to the doors. "Urbosa, Zelda, let's go. I've a feeling they need our help."

"That will not be necessary." A voice said as the four turned their heads to see a woman approaching them.

BGM: Villains of a Sort (Kingdom Hearts)

"Who are you? How did you get into the castle?" Toadsworth asked.

"Hmhmhmhm, I have my ways of getting around~" The woman smirked. "As for my name, you may call me… Pandaia."

Peach said nothing, but she pulled out her golf club and aimed it at Pandaia. "What do you mean it won't be necessary?"

"They have it all under control." She let out a chuckle. "Besides, Dark Ruby has Ruby wrapped around her finger~"

"Dark Ruby?!" Peach's eyes widened as she gritted her teeth. "Then you must be working for her."

"I'd say I'm more of an acquaintance of her." She said. "Your precious Mario and his pals walked right into her trap. Oh, I can imagine Ruby is getting tormented as we speak~"

Peach growled. "Where is she?"

"That is for me to know and for you to never find out."

Urbosa brought out her scimitar while Zelda conjured up magic. "Toadsworth. I'd say it's time for you to hide." Urbosa said.

"Yes, that's quite right…" Toadsworth said as he walked away.

"Oh, hiding won't save all of you… because Remnant is history!" She raised her hand up in the air as dark magic conjured up in her hands. "Remnant will fall to the Grimm!"

BGM: Sinister Shadows (Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix)

The dark magic shot up into the air, piercing through the castle ceiling and tore through the roof, launching up into the sky as the bright blue sky turned into a scarlet red. "The age of Grimm, and the age of Dark Ruby has BEGUN!"

At that moment, Grimm started to crawl out of the ground in Toad Town as the townsfolk started screaming while several others grabbed a hold of Fire Flowers and other power ups as they started fighting back.

Soon after that, Grimm started crawling out of the ground all across Remnant, catching even the most prepared huntsmen off guard.

Not only that, but Heartless started falling from the sky and started to attack everyone in sight.

And as for Salem, she would see that her own Grimm started roaring and howling before they turned toward her. "What?" Salem asked in surprise. "What is the meaning of this! I am your queen, you should obey me!"

The Grimm snarled and then lunged directly at Salem, forcing her to fight them off as Aria, Donovan, and even Watts aided her.

"Ahahahaha!" Pandaia laughed as Peach clenched her fists.

"Pandaia, was it?" She glared as the magic dissipated from her hand. "You should know that I'm not some dainty princess. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty."

"Oh, is that right? Well, if you think that is the case, then perhaps we should put you to the test. If you think you three can take me down, then I'm all open! Come! Let us see if you have what it takes to destroy me!"

Bringer of the Apocalypse - Pandaia(?)

Peach, Urbosa and Zelda got ready, the three of them looking at each other and nodding as the three lunged directly at Pandaia, where Urbosa took the first swing and slashed her, but Pandaia easily blocked. Zelda teleported behind her and threw a Din's Fire at her, but Pandaia teleported away.

Pandaia turned to Peach and slashed her, but she blocked with her golf club as she parried her and shoved her golf club in her gut before delivering a high kick. However, Pandaia smirked and proceeded to slash her with her Viper Sword, but Zelda would intervene by having orbs of light surround her and fired light beams into her.

"Hmhmhmhm! How amusing!" Pandaia laughed as she swung her sword as the Viper came alive and lunged at Peach, however Urbosa got in the way and blocked with her shield, she then snapped her fingers as lightning came down and struck Pandaia, then she retaliated by unleashing a spin attack with her sword.

"You alright, princess?" Urbosa asked.

"I'm fine." Peach nodded, pulling out a turnip and throwing it at Pandaia, which she was able to to slash in half.

"Really, a turnip?" She smirked, unaware of the Triforce forming underneath her as Zelda snapped her fingers as a pillar of light shot out and struck Pandaia, making her wince and backed up, where Urbosa stomped on the ground as ice pillars rose up around her and snapped her fingers.

"You cold?" She said, lightning striking the ice pillars which caused them to explode and struck Pandaia, where the latter retaliated by throwing dark fire at her, but Urbosa blocked this as Zelda conjured up dark magic of her own and unleashed a Phantom Slash at Pandaia, but she teleported away and slashed at Zelda from behind.

"Rrrgh!" Zelda growled, turning around and bringing out her rapier as she stabbed Pandaia but the latter blocked her attack and parried her where the Viper Blade chomped down on her arm. "Argh!" She cried, feeling the poison go up her arm. "Nnnngh! AAAAGH!"

"Zelda!" Peach exclaimed as Pandaia snapped her fingers as two other snakes came up from underneath Peach and Urbosa, wrapping around them while the viper blade wrapped around Zelda.

End BGM

"Hahahaha! A valiant effort, but you three are no match for me." Pandaia mocked. "My poison may not kill you, but you will beg someone to kill you just so you can get away from it!"

"Rrrgh… i'm not… I'm not going to let this poison… control my thoughts!" Zelda winced.

"Then I suppose I will kill you three." She aimed her hand at Peach. "Starting with you." She chuckled darkly, when suddenly a pool of darkness surrounded her. "What?" She wondered as the darkness rose up and started attacking her from all directions. "Argh!" She grunted as a bolt of lightning struck Pandaia from above, before a large pillar was thrown at her and knocked her several feet away. "Rrrgh, who dares?!" She growled when suddenly a sword went right through her gut from behind. "Mmmph!"

"Oh, we're just a couple of passers-by who thought we ought to help the princess." A voice said from behind.

"Rrrgh… who… who are you?!"

"Me? Funny you should ask… the name's Yuri, leader of the Ashen Wolves. Nice to meet you."

BGM: The Shackled Wolves (Fire Emblem: Three Houses)

"Sorry about the pillar, princess! We'll get ya a new one!" A voice said as another man approached while dusting his hands off, while two ladies approached with tomes surrounding them.

Yuri smirked, taking the sword out of Pandaia and kicking her away. "Rrrgh, you think a mere stab wound will take me out?!"

"Nah, that was just to slow you down. Balthus! Hapi! Constance! Let's show this wench what happens when you mess with royalty."

"Right!"

Pandaia let out a growl, seeing the Ashen Wolves surrounding her. She planted her hands on the ground and darkness shot out, but the four of them jumped away as Balthus lunged and delivered a flurry of heavy punches and delivered an uppercut, where Hapi unleashed Banshee on top of her, and once Pandaia came crashing down, Constance aimed her hand at her.

"Tremble before me!" She said enthusiastically, using a Thoron spell to push her away as Balthus gave Yuri an extra boost as he lunged and cross slashed her where Balthus punched the ground as debris flew up in the air as he punched the debris over to Pandaia.

Pandaia snarled, quickly slashing at the debris as she conjured up dark magic and threw it at the four but Hapi clapped her hands and unleashed Hades Omega to counter the dark magic while Constance used Fimbulvetr to freeze Pandaia on sight, then Balthus jumped in and punched the ice where Pandaia was thrown to a wall as Yuri slashed her down, then jumped back.

"Rrrgh… ENOUGH!" Pandaia yelled, snapping her fingers as snakes rose up and wrapped around the four as well. "Your little game ends HERE!" She yelled, unleashing dark lasers at them, but a reflective shield protected them.

"That is enough!" A voice said as Palutena appeared before them.

"You…" Pandaia glared.

Palutena aimed her staff at her. "At first, when I saw you use your magic against team RWBY and Pit, I thought it was just a coincidence… but now that I'm seeing it again for myself, I know for a fact who you really are."

"Oh yeah? What's it to you?" Pandaia glared.

"I should've known you would have come back from the dead after the universal reset… Medusa." Palutena fired a laser from her staff, piercing through her. "Reveal your true form to me!" She ordered as dark magic swallowed Pandaia before it dissipated, revealing none other than Medusa herself.

"Tch, so you figured it out." Medusa glared.

"Indeed. So you're working with Grimm Ruby, I presume."

"She was my creation!"

"No, the Mirror of Truth created her."

"But Pandora had the Mirror of Truth, and Pandora worked for me, so theoretically, she's my creation." Medusa aimed her staff at Palutena. "Seeing you after so long burns me up. You turned me into this hideous form!"

"I did so because of the darkness within your heart. It pained me to do that but you left me no choice."

Medusa growled. "You would still side with humans after all they've done… pitiful." She said as a dark portal opened up.

"Where are you going?"

"I know when I am beaten… but know this, Palutena. The next time we meet, I will not hesitate to kill you. My biggest mistake was turning you into a statue… I will not make that same mistake again." She disappeared into the dark portal where the snakes disappeared.

"OHOHOHOHO!" Constance let out a hearty noblewoman laugh. "You better run, you snake hag!"

"Coco, now's not the time to antagonize a goddess…" Hapi said.

"Eh, what's she gonna do… kill us? If those measly bone beasts couldn't do anything to us, then why worry about a so-called goddess?"

Yuri shook his head. "Oh brother…"

"Are you alright?" Palutena asked as they nodded, then she turned to Zelda. "How about you?"

"I'm ignoring the pain… sure, it hurts like hell but I can get past it…" Zelda said, holding on to her bite wound. "I've dealt with worse…"

"Here, let me help." Palutena snapped her fingers as an aura surrounded Zelda's arm as the poison started to dissipate.

"Well, I guess that'll do…" Zelda nodded.

"Unfortunately, we're in a bad situation." Palutena said. "Mario, RWBY and friends have wandered right into Grimm Ruby's trap. She's kidnapped Ruby and we have no idea where they are."

"That's horrible!" Peach exclaimed. "We have to put a stop to her!"

"Indeed, and while the Grimm are a major problem, we can still find a way to win this." Palutena said, and then suddenly the doors burst open as they turned to see a few Dual Blade Heartless and Beowolf Grimm having burst through and they rushed at the group… however, two Keyblades burst through the Heartless and several water blades cut through the Grimm to dispose of them.

"You guys okay?" Riku asked as Sora put his Keyblades away, then Kyoko, Aoi, Sakura, Hajime and Peko ran in with a watery aura surrounding Aoi's hands.

"Seems like it's a party in here." Kyoko said.

"Do you know what's going on? It's a jungle out there!" Hajime said.

"Yes, Grimm Ruby is back in play and is making a mess." Palutena said.

"The girl that's been making Ruby's life miserable?" Kyoko asked.

"Yes."

"That would explain why the Grimm activity has been majorly concerning." Aoi said.

"She even kidnapped Ruby… and as for Luigi and Chiaki's whereabouts? We don't know, but Grimm Ruby more than likely killed them." Palutena said.

"Luigi?!" Peach exclaimed in horror.

Hajime's eyes widened. "Chiaki… no, no, she can't be dead... There's no way in hell!"

Peko clenched her fists. "It seems we have a new mission. Locate Chiaki and rescue Ruby from Grimm Ruby's clutches."

"We may not have met this Grimm Ruby, but our friend is in trouble. We'll help!" Sora said.

"Then let's go. Mario and his allies are probably searching for them as we speak." Palutena said.

Kyoko readied her Hacking Gun. "Then we've no time to waste." She said as they turned around, only to see a large Ursa approach them as it let out a loud roar and lunged directly at them.

"HAAAAAAH!" A voice cried as a woman cross slashed through the Ursa and then landed in front of the group. The Ursa fell and disappeared as a result. "Hmph, these creatures popped up out of nowhere."

"Oh, who are you?" Urbosa asked as the woman turned around.

"Oh, hey, the name's Shez. Nice to meet all of you." She greeted with a smile. "I'm imagining you guys have it under control?"

"Yeah, we were on our way to help some friends out. You want to come with?" Sora asked.

Shez smiled. "I'm ready for anything, let's go."

"I don't know why, but I have a sneaking suspicion that they may lead us to the Ashen Demon…"

You think so?

"I could just be overthinking things, but let's not worry about that."

Right. Shez nodded as she looked directly at Riku. Huh… he's cute. She thought.

"Let's move out." Zelda said. "We've no time to lose."

"Actually, I want to do something real quick." Peach said as they turned to her. "I seem to recall that Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Nora and Rosalina have pets… so let's see if we can recruit them." She smirked.

Meanwhile, at Bowser's Castle…

BGM: Where Is The Hope? (Dragon Quest XI: Echoes Of An Elusive Age)

"THAT BITCH!" Summer punched a wall in anger. "She's going to regret this… she's going to regret this IMMENSELY!"

"Oh, you have no idea how much I want to kill her." Qrow said. "Hell, I met her at Delfino… I should've killed her when I had the chance."

"Well, now's our chance to end her." Raven said as Tai and Rosalina walked over to an angry Summer.

"I should've killed her…" Summer said. "I should've chopped off her mouth… but no, I go and destroy her arm and leg and this is what she comes back to… I should've ended her."

"Deep breaths, Summer." Rosalina put her hands on her shoulders. "We'll get our Ruby back no matter what." She then pulled her into a comforting hug.

"I'm pissed too. We'll take her down. All of us." Tai said as Summer nodded.

"Yeah, Ibuki's ready to bash her skull in for what she did to Chiaki-chan… she better hope that Chiaki-chan's still alive so help Ibuki…" Ibuki growled.

"I've got a fist ready to meet her mouth." Daisy said. "If she had touched a single hair on Luigi… that bitch is going to get it!"

"We're with you." Marnie said as Neo and Mario nodded.

"It's time we put an end to her for good." Yang said as Weiss and Blake had angry looks in their eyes as Pit was ready to slaughter Grimm Ruby.

"I'm going too." Byleth said. "She's my younger sister, and I'm not going to sit by and watch her get tortured a second time."

"Count me in!" Dorothea said. "She's gonna be my sister-in-law soon so I might as well pitch in."

"So we're all in agreement? We all take down this witch?" Shovel Knight said.

"Ooooh yeah, we're ready." Umber said.

"For Ruby! For Pittoo! We're not JUST going to break her legs, we're gonna break her entire body!" Nora declared.

"That's the spirit." Laxus smirked.

"Guys!" Pyrrha yelled as they looked up to see the sky changing into red and would also see Grimm and Heartless attacking everything.

"No doubt that's Grimm Ruby's doing…" Rosalina said as she raised her hand up in the air, and together with Kamek, they formed a protective force field around Bowser's Castle where they would see some Heartless and Grimm try to burst through the force field, only to disintegrate on contact.

"...That won't disintegrate us if we go through, right?" Bowser asked.

"It's only for enemies." Kamek explained. "We're good."

Bowser sighed with relief. "Phew… alright, get to the airships! We are going to save Ruby from that little skank!"

"Heh, never thought I'd find myself saving Little Red… my, how times have changed." Roman chuckled.

"This is the same girl I fought over at Beacon and this is what I'm doing now?" Cinder shook her head. "It was bad enough to work with her in the Phazon war but now I'm saving her, what are the odds?"

Bowsette giggled. "Change of heart~!"

"Riiiiight…" Cinder rolled her eyes as everyone got on the airships as they roared to life and flew up into the air where they started to fly.

BGM: Grand Star Rescue (Super Mario Galaxy)

"Goomba Squad at the ready!" Captain Goomba said as he, Captain Shy Guy, Captain Boo, Captain Koopa and Captain Slime were ready to go.

"Team Yell's ready to go." Marnie said.

"Koopalings ready to rock and roll!" Larry exclaimed.

"King of Awesome ready to pummel some losers!" Bowser smirked.

"Let's-a go!" Mario exclaimed as the airships flew off, going through the force field as they flew off in search for Ruby and Grimm Ruby.

"Ahahahaha…" Dimentio watched this from afar. "Might as well point them in the right direction." He said, snapping his fingers as a gigantic neon sign pointed down at the black warp pipe.

"Grimm Ruby's down here!"

"Over there!" Nyx pointed toward the sign.

"That's suspiciously convenient." Raven said.

"Never mind if it's suspicious…" Summer said in a low voice. "We're going to get my daughter back."

A tug on her sleeve caught her attention as she looked down to see Oran. "You want to come with?" She asked in surprise as he nodded. She knelt down. "Hon, this might be too dangerous for you. It's gonna be scary."

Oran shook his head and had determination set in his eyes. "You've taken a shine to her, haven't you?" She smiled, ruffling his head. "Alright, but if it gets too dangerous for you and Kala, I'm contacting Palutena so she can safely take you to Skyworld, okay?"

Oran nodded in understanding as he gently kissed her on the cheek. Summer smiled and kissed him on the forehead as she turned around. "Ruby, Dark Pit, Luigi, Chiaki… we're coming for you."

Meanwhile, with Team B…

"Th-this is a pet?!" Shez said, completely taken aback by Rosalina's Nergigante that was chilling at the Rose/Xiao Long/Branwen household. "The giant dog wolf creature, I get but… but… THIS?!"

"Don't worry, he's a friendly one." Palutena smiled. "Unless you provoke him, but he's more laid back now."

Shez sweatdropped. "I see…" She said, being very wary of the Nergigante as Peach gently scratched his head.

"Hey boy, you want to come with and potentially help rescue your family?"

The Nergigante nodded as he let out a small growl.

"Alright, let's go!" Peach said.

"Question. What about the dog?" Zelda asked, pointing to Zwei who curiously walked up to him.

"Oh, right…" Peach knelt down. "Hey boy, you want to come help save Ruby?"

"Woof!" Zwei barked and happily accompanied them.

"We're taking the corgi?" Hapi raised an eyebrow.

"Why not? He seems like a fighter." Yuri said.

"And he's just the cutest too!" Constance rubbed his head. "Who's a good fightin' boy! Who's a good fightin' boy! You are! You are! Yes you are~!" She smiled as Zwei barked happily.

What the hell kind of world is this? Shez thought to herself.

"Great, so now we have Ruby's Cerberus and Zwei, and Rosie's Diablo…" Palutena smiled. "Let's go pay the Schnee and Belladonna family a visit." She said as they walked off while Shez stood there in disbelief.

"...How is that even a pet…" She wondered to herself before she snapped out of her thoughts and chased after the group.

Meanwhile, at Beacon…

"Hmm…" Ozpin rubbed his chin as he looked out the window.

"Goodness, there's a whole lot of 'em…" Mavis said.

"I have this feeling team RWBY is in a dire situation." Ozpin said as he pulled out his scroll, calling someone up.

"Hello?"

Ozpin smiled. "Hello Edelgard, I was wondering if you could do me a favor."

So, a little backstory on the Ashen Wolves. After I completed Edelgard's Route and the Church Route in Three Houses, I was raring to go for another round by selecting Claude's route. However, I was quickly burnt out and by the time I did the Battle of the Eagle and Lion again in Part 1, I didn't want to play anymore. (Why did they make Part 1 drag on FOREVER?!) so when the DLC came out regarding the Ashen Wolves, I... wasn't in too big of a hurry to download it, I just went "Meh... not interested." and just left it at that.

I know what you're thinking though. I could've simply watched the DLC on YouTube and while I COULD have done that... I've quickly learned that Fire Emblem is too boring to watch on YouTube. (You can thank Fire Emblem Fates for that.) Everyone moving around a few squares with hardly any action inbetween? Hell with that noise, I'd rather play Fire Emblem instead!

So, fast forward to Three Hopes launching and as I've played, I've gotten to know the Ashen Wolves as I had recruited them and I was like "...Why didn't I bring these four knuckleheads into Fell Star Strikers, let alone not bringing them in for SRS? I need to correct this mistake pronto!" and thus, here we are, with the Ashen Wolves arriving in style!

Ibuki: Woo! Now let's go save Ruby-chan and the others!
