Here it is.

Haseoblade-Skyking01 - I'm glad that you think of the idea as interesting. As for other spirits I have a few ideas for it aside from the obvious elemental spirit near the end of the stories of I were to follow the original SK plot line.

Guest - Thanks. And Hao killed surprisingly little oponents that weren't directly trying to kill him during the original shaman king. Most of them were during flash back for some reason.

Xealchim - Hao's the villain so it's kinda a given that he wouldn't be the most liked character.

X3runner - You know, I didn't think of the shaman crew in this fic as the parallels to team RWBY before. That's and interesting perspective.

adislt - Did it really feel jumpy? I didn't really notice that when writing. Was it perhaps related to the fact that none of the transitions were focused on one objective and instead were simply another moments on the timeline (Unlike let's say chapter 8)?

Gamelover41592 - Thanks.

Daemon of Wrath - I don't think he will join X-Laws but if he did then most likely he would have gotten Gabriel.

In the largest tower at Beacon there was a single office belonging to the headmaster of the arguably most prestigious huntsman academy on Remnant. It was situated above any other building around so that the headmaster could immediately notice and react if anything disastrous were to happen on the grounds of his academy.

Inside that office sat an adult gray haired man who was currently looking through a bunch of documents and reports with a worried frown on his face.

That man was the headmaster Ozpin himself and the documents he was looking through were descriptions of many different destroyed sites that were usually rarely visited by the public at large.

Lately those scenes of destruction started to appear quite often and it unnerved him to no end.

While normally he would have suspected them to be the results of some actions made by one of the many criminal gangs residing in Vale or maybe even White Fang which not too long ago had turned from a peaceful protest group into nothing more than ordinary terrorists, he knew that it wasn't quite the case in this scenario.

All of the places that were destroyed were too unimportant or insignificant for there to be any point in attacking them specifically. Beyond that, all of those sites showed signs of being a result of an intense fight rather than a targeted attack made by the organization founded by Miss Belladonna's parents.

A subtle smile appeared on his face as he thought about one of his better students. Although there was that one time when little Miss Belladonna tried to look into White Fang's current actions and find out if there were any correlation between them and these weird attacks, she didn't find anything.

That didn't mean that one of the innumerable gangs didn't do that during one of their skirmishes of course but despite it being a very likely possibility he was sure it wasn't the case.

A loud and tired sigh escaped him as he pushed some of the documents to the side of his desk.

Of course he knew that these unexplained aftermaths of fights weren't related to any of the gangs or groups present in the city. It wasn't the first time he was witnessing scenes like these happening for no apparent reason, after all.

Normally it would have meant that he already knew who was responsible for this but sadly that wasn't the case here. Unless of course, the ones responsible for this lived for more than five hundred years to repeat what they did back then. He highly doubted that was possible though as the brother gods didn't tend to give immortality to others like some cheap candies and Salem and he were the exceptions.

It wasn't a problem he could do much about and no matter how many complaints the council of Vale sent him he would be about as useful in stopping these destroyed sites as they were.

For him, intervening with it was even harder than for others as the brother gods themselves insisted on him being kept away from those weird things that were happening every five hundred years. Back when he asked what would happen if he were to stop it they even looked afraid while answering.

Whatever could scare the beings capable of making people immortal and destroying the moon as if it was nothing was certainly way above his capabilities to handle.

The only issue it left him nowadays was finding some excuses why it wasn't a big deal and why he or the other huntsman couldn't deal with it. Even Salem knew not to meddle with it or be forced to suffer consequences worse than she had to when she went against the gods.

At least she didn't try anything for the last few instances of those sightings. He could only hope that she wouldn't be trying anything crazy this time around because that would mean that he would have to go against the gods orders as well.

He shivered a little as his mind dipped into thought about the two beings that forced him into the eternal life he had to live through now.

Luckily there were other things he needed to focus on. More precisely, something had to be done about the injured maiden who was being protected inside Beacon at the moment.

Usually he would just find another candidate to take the power of the seasons so that the barely alive maiden could at least die in peace with the knowledge that her powers didn't go to the wrong hands but there were hardly any good choices among the students at Beacon and the trusted people he knew were too old to accept it.

He thought about sending the fall maiden away to Haven in Mistral but there wasn't any medical equipment advanced enough there to keep the maiden alive for more than a few hours so the idea had been cut.

Thankfully he would be able to send her to Atlas where not only they would have the equipment good enough to keep her alive for long enough to find another candidate but he would also have a perfect occasion to pass the maiden to the general Ironwood right before the Vytal festival when they would be discussing the security for the festival.

He stretched a little as he stood up to make himself some coffee to combat his tiredness after the entire morning of looking through the records and documents.

A light shone right above the doors to his office to signal to him that someone was coming to him from the elevator. It was most likely Glynda who was about to either give him more paperwork or complain to him about one of his harder to understand decisions.

"Ozpin..." A female voice said as the doors started to open. It looked like he was right. "Do you know why the entire team RWBY and a half of the team RLND sneaked out of Beacon right before the first lesson started?"

Such a thing happened? It was the first time he heard about that but it might have been his fault for being too focused on the thing that the council of Vale was practically ordering him to explain.

"No, Glynda." He took a sip of his freshly made coffee. "I have no idea."

They were probably just playing truant anyway.

That was what the teenagers did nowadays, right?

...

Near the old bullhead docks...

...

Team RWBY was, in fact, not playing a truant and no matter how much Yang insisted they were doing so it was not true. They simply were prioritizing more important issues for them at the moment and there was nothing wrong with that.

Absolutely nothing at all.

A nervous whimper escaped Ruby as she ducked a little lower when one of the weird people present looked vaguely in their directions. She knew she shouldn't be here, she shouldn't even be outside of the Beacon at the moment, so her normally guilt free conscience might have made her jumpy a little.

Only a little of course and it was perfectly normal for her, not everyone could be a bold lawbreaker like her sister was.

"Don't react, it draws attention." Blake whispered. "We are sneaking, the moment someone looks in your direction you should stay still as a rock instead or at least look like you belong there."

"Just don't get us in any trouble. I still can't believe you actually managed to convince me to go here with you." Weiss added with a roll of her eyes.

"Weren't you the one who wanted to do this the most out of all of us?" Yang argued with a quiet snicker. "If I didn't know any better I might have even confused you with Nora based on how you were acting."

"I was not! The only reason I am interested in this thing at all is to make sure my stupid younger brother won't hurt himself." Weiss hissed back.

"Sure it is. Don't worry, we won't tell your family that your ice queen persona is just a cold exterior Weiss." Yang said with a grin. "Your secret is safe with us."

Just before their partners could get into another loud shouting match and reveal their location to every person they were hiding from, she and Blake quickly covered their mouths to silence them at least a little.

She rolled her eyes in exasperation as she still heard some muffled sounds from her sister. All the tension or seriousness of the situation that was or at least could have been here before was already long gone.

It was what she got for trusting her team to not make a scene during anything important to them.

"Can you at least try to not draw attention to us here, guys?" She sighed. "You know, we aren't supposed to be here and I don't know about you but I certainly don't want us to be caught."

The only answer she got was a simple nod from Blake and a bunch of muffled noises from her sister and partner as they were still being silenced by her and Blake.

She quickly moved har hand away in embarrassment. Her teammates couldn't talk to her if she was silencing them. She didn't forget that, not at all, and the raised eyebrows she was getting from Weiss and Yang were unjustified.

"Calm down, Rubes. You're making it a bigger deal than it really is. It's not like we are doing anything illegal here. We are just observing an unexplained gathering of weird strangers because we are curious. As long as we won't try to attack them for no reason we will be fine." Yang said with reassurance.

"Isn't sneaking out of the school technically breaking the law?" Blake asked.

"That's a completely different thing in itself. At worst it's a minor transgression that would end up with a single detention." Yang answered with a wave of her hand. "It's not like we're stalking someone or something like that."

"Hey guys! Are you also here to stalk Jauney and Renny to watch their next fight?!" A loud and energetic voice said from behind them.

"Ahh!" They all shouted in surprise as they turned around to see a familiar red haired girl grinning at them while leaning forward to see the most of what was happening at the docks that she could.

"You know that loudly shouting like that will get you caught in no time, right? If you are sneaking then you have to be subtle. Like me!" Nora said with a tilt of their head and a wide grin.

There was no answer to Nora's antics nearby as Ren was currently busy with a conversation somewhere in the middle of the small crowd that they were hiding from and no one aside from him could reliably tame the energy monster known to most as Nora.

Team RWBY wasn't too happy about that. In fact they were quite stressed right now as they tried to get their bearings after the initial scare that the red haired girl funded them.

Ruby was especially nervous as she was the only one who actually took the idea of getting caught here really seriously. She was neither like Yang and Weiss who simply didn't think it would be a big deal nor was she like Blake who could easily manage to hide again the moment she was seen.

Luckily, it didn't take them too long to get back on their feet since they were already kinda used to some brands of craziness.

"What are you doing here, Nora?" Ruby asked.

"I'm pretty sure we are here for the same thing." Nora answered with some uncertainty in her voice before pointing at the group of shamans. "You want to sneak in there as well right?"

"No, we are merely observ-""Yup." Weiss and Yang answered at the same time.

An annoyed glare from a certain heiress of SDC was directed at Yang after she interrupted Weiss's answer with her own. It looked like another quarrel would start soon if they were to be left alone.

Knowing what would happen if nobody interrupted, Ruby stepped forward to divide her sister and her partner with herself to avoid having another fight. She really loved her team but she really could live without the bickering between her teammates that often happened. Even if the fight were rather small and more teasing in nature as of late.

"Can we please stop this pointless bickering and go back to our objective? Ruby looks like she is already exhausted from keeping us in check. I fear what would happen to her if we had to get closer to those people." Blake said sternly, relieving her of the responsibility of convincing Yang and Weiss to stop fighting.

Two nods were the response as both of the sides in the quarrel that was about to happen gave in and chose to quiet down a little.

Ruby let out a quiet sigh as she moved back a little to make some space for her friends. Now the only thing they needed to do was to get back to observing the gathering and maybe sneak in there later to learn more.

She turned around to see that about a quarter of the people they were supposed to be looking at was gone and the rest was slowly moving towards the old hangar nearby.

"What happened?! Where are they going?! Why didn't we see it?" She panicked a little while her teammates snorted a little at her reaction in glee.

"They are moving towards the hangar to get to the mysterious ancient soaring device. Some old lady from the speakers explained that earlier when you guys were too busy talking." Nora answered with a shrug as if it was the most obvious thing.

"By the way, Renny and Jauney were one of the first people to enter the building." The red haired girl added after a few seconds of silence team RWBY used to process the information that she said earlier passed.

"Why didn't you tell us?!" Ruby asked loudly.

"You were busy with the team issue and the people there walked slowly anyway so we have the time to waste." Nora said with a grin.

The only response the energetic huntress in training had got was Ruby grabbing the teammates that were the closest to her and rushing forward towards the crowd to hide within it and sneak their way in.

"Quickly, we have to conceal ourselves in the crowd and enter at the same time as the most amount of people to smuggle us in there." Blake advised quickly as she started to run right next to her team leader.

Seeing her friends dashing towards the crowd, Nora giggled a little at the situation before following behind them with a wide smile.

Huntsmen and huntresses at average were extremely fit and could run way faster than any ordinary person so, even though all of them were only huntresses in training, it didn't take long for the group of Beacon students to catch up to the group of slowly moving shamans.

Of course, they had to slow down a little before reaching the crowd because if they were seen rushing towards them while running as fast as they could then all the attention would quickly be drawn to them.

While they could still try to argue that they were only competitors that arrived a little bit late, it would still make them stand out among all of the people here and that would make sneaking in the ancient soaring device almost impossible.

"Sorry." Ruby murmured quietly as she pushed her way into a tight group of people to be covered from all sides by others.

She knew that all of her teammates did the same since just before they reached the small horde of people Blake debriefed them on the easiest way to hide among the crowd. Sometimes it really paid to have a friend who was experienced in infiltration and hiding.

The only one she was worried about was Nora, she had been quite a distance behind them when Blake was telling them how to sneak in and Nora despite being a capable fighter wasn't really someone she could picture sneaking around unnoticed.

She could only hope that their friend wouldn't do anything as stupid as walking in directly and acting as if she belonged there.

A quick shake of her head brought her out of the thoughts she was having. There's no way Nora would do something stupid like that. Even she was aware that these types of things only worked in comics and cartoons.

A nervous gulp went through her throat as she approached closer to the hangar and was finally able to see what that ancient soaring device was.

Confusion filled her as she looked at the sight before her. The hangar was empty or at least there weren't any vehicles in there. How were they supposed to fly somewhere if there weren't any bullhead or airship to take them there?

After a single glance upwards, her confusion instantly subsided. There all of the people who entered the hangar before her were floating in the middle of the air right before her eyes. The weirdest part of it was that all of them looked as if they were sitting on something.

"Did they seriously expect us to fly on that rusty bullhead? It looks like it won't even lift the ground." She heard someone grumble to her right.

Her eyes widened as she finally understood the bizarre sight before her. These people weren't flying or levitating, they were sitting on the passenger seats in a bullhead she simply wasn't able to see.

Was it the same situation like with that invisible projectile that had almost killed Weiss?

She didn't have the time to dwell on it as the group she was currently using to conceal herself started to enter the invisible vehicle. Moving alongside them meant that she didn't have to worry about accidentally using a wall of the bullhead as an entrance and revealing herself to everyone around her by acting awkward.

Walking on an invisible staircase was still weird though. With every step she ascended a little bit higher but she also expected to fall down because there was nothing underneath her feet.

At least it wasn't hard to find her teammates while inside the bullhead as she and her teammates were able to see each other through its walls and seats without any issues.

With an awkward posture she quickly walked to what normally should be the very end of any working bullhead to meet up with her team. Blake was already there and seeing that her faunus teammate didn't look too nervous she realized that the place Blake was at must have been safe enough for them to hide there.

"Have you seen Nora?" She whispered nervously to her friend the moment she was close enough to the back of the bullhead to be sure nobody aside from Blake would hear her.

She could see the rest of her team slowly coming towards them but Nora wasn't among them, making her fear a little about where the red haired girl was hiding.

The response she got from Blake was a single finger pointing towards the supposed entrance of the bullhead. When she looked there she whined quietly a little as she noticed the only girl of team RLND casually talking with a dark skinned boy with an afro while entering the vehicle.

The red haired girl even laughed a little at something the shaman said while sitting down right next to the boy. The not so subtle wink she shot them after sitting down didn't make her feel any more confident either.

"Did she just..." Weiss whispered with so much bewilderment that she wasn't even able to finish her question.

Luckily they weren't able to think about it for too long because the ground under them started to move forward as the bullhead slowly left the hangar.

With every single person outside the building and everyone ready for the journey, the bullhead began to rise from the ground, taking them with it.

Normally she wasn't afraid of heights, she wouldn't be able to pass the Beacon initiation if she was, but the combination of there not being any visible floor or walls around her and a surprisingly big amount of shuddering as they slowly rose higher and the experience left her shaking. The fact that the entire time she would be wondering if she was going to be found out because of Nora's loud conversation with the black shaman didn't help her nerves at all.

That was going to be the worst bullhead flight she ever had.

...

A few hours later...

...

That was the greatest bullhead flight he ever had!

Jaune didn't know how or why but for some reason despite all of the shaking during the flight and the speed at which they were moving his motion sickness wasn't acting up. In fact, he felt almost as good as if he was merely sitting inside a normal immobile building instead of the steel deathtrap he was in right now.

It almost made him feel silly for being so scared of it before the start of the flight.

Was his motion sickness cured? No, that couldn't be the case. The reason why he felt fine must have something to do with the spiritual method used to create the mysterious ancient soaring device.

He would never call the spiritual objects given to them by the shamanic tribes ordinary or not impressive. They were made with the help of the Great Spirit itself so it's obvious that they were incredible in nature.

"I still think that you are exaggerating. No matter how many times I check, it looks like any other rusty bullhead to me." Summer, the non believer, said with a roll of her eyes as she floated right before him.

"All my life I avoided these death traps like a plague because of my motion sickness, please allow me to enjoy at least one ride on it, Summer." He said with a small laugh before looking through the window to marvel at the sight of the coast of Mitral leaving the horizon.

The flight was way longer than it normally would be to get this far but they also were flying significantly slower than usual bullhead would for some reason. He suspected that it might have something to do with the contestants from other kingdoms who would be arriving as well. It wouldn't be fair if the combatants from one of the kingdoms were in the arena of the second round for longer, they would have more time to prepare after all.

They still weren't there though as the place the second round would take place at was United Tribes Village and no one had any idea where that was. At least none his friends knew as he didn't ask any strangers if they knew.

At the moment Ren and Whitley were sitting right next to him and both of them were occupied with something else. Ren was taking a nap while Whitley was busy with some quiet conversation he had with his grandfather.

He had already talked with his friends a lot earlier during the trip so there wasn't much information left to share at the moment anyway. Sitting in relative silence wasn't all that bad though as even he could get tired of the constant bickering that was present whenever Ren and Whitley talked.

It really made him wonder why they sit so close to each other if they fought so often. He liked to think that he was the one who was getting them closer to one another but that likely wasn't the case.

At least the information they shared was significant. He told them about his meeting with Hao earlier and they told him about their fights he wasn't able to see. Apparently that one draw of Whitley's was in a fight against Chocolove.

Wasn't that a coincidence?

Honestly, he was quite surprised that the dark skinned boy even entered the tournament, especially since he was pretty sure that Chocolove only unlocked his shaman potential right before their single encounter.

A yawn left him as he slowly stretched and leaned back on his seat. Maybe he should use Ren as an example and take a nap himself. He had no idea how long the flight was going to be so he might as well try.

Just before he could close his eyes a loud cough resounded from the speaker, getting everyone's attention. It appeared to be a message from the pilot or the representative from the tribes. Could it be that they were already arriving?

"It appears that every bullhead with the contestants entered it's dropping point." A voice of the same old lady who congratulated them winning the first round earlier mumbled through the speakers.

"Since every single contestant is in position, I hereby declare the beginning of the second round of the shaman fight!"

The second round had already begun? They were still in the air though. Were they going to be fighting in the bullheads?

"The objective of the second round of the tournament is to find the Tribes Village where the third part of the tournament will be held. You will have three months to do so and if you find the entrance to the village after the time limit you will still be able to stay there as a part of the audience."

What? Why didn't he hear anything about it earlier?

"The moment this message ends, the Over Soul of the bullhead that took you up to here will be dispersed, dropping you to the ground somewhere in Mistral. We sincerely hope that most of you will be able to survive the fall."

What?!

"Good luck!"

The message ended.

Despite the fact that he didn't live the most ordinary or safe life out there, Jaune liked to think that he was at least a sensible person so the moment that the bullhead he was flying in suddenly vanished right under his feet he reacted like any sensible person would.

He screamed on top of his lungs in panic while falling to the ground from the heights that no reasonable person should be falling from.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!" With a quick look to the side he noticed that Whitley was in the very same boat he was. Poor Whitley wasn't even able to finish his conversation with his grandfather as the announcement started in the middle of it.

The only one of them who wasn't panicking at the moment was Ren who looked as if the first shaman fight between them was more frightening than what was happening right now.

"I don't know why are you two panicking. Just use your landing strategy." Ren said calmly while looking at them with a slightly confused stare.

"What landing strategy!?" He and Whitley shouted back.

Their answers seemed to confuse both Ren and, for some reason, Summer even more as they blinked a couple of times while looking roughly in their direction before finally realizing something after a few short seconds of thinking.

"Oh right. You don't have one." Ren said. "You know, after watching you fight it's easy to forget that you guys don't have any huntsman training."

What did the huntsman training have to do with anything?! He highly doubted that being thrown from the bullheads in the middle of the flights was a part of the Beacon's or any other huntsmen school's curriculum.

"Just use your Over Soul to negate the fall in some way." Ren said while positioning himself to be able to use one of the trees under them to break the fall. His father was already in his spirit ball form just in case Ren needed him for something.

Yeah, that sounded like a good idea.

"Summer! Spirit ball form!" He shouted while extending one of his arms. "Over Soul to the wooden staff!"

With a quick glance he saw that Whitley was already using his Over Soul to create a makeshift slide made out of spiritual steel to make sure he wasn't falling straight down. It looked quite comical to see such a serious person using such a childish method to get down.

If he had more time on his hands or at least could use his scroll then he would have certainly recorded it but sadly it wasn't quite possible in their situation. He would make sure to remember it though.

He gulped a little as he looked down. While his Over Soul didn't have such a convenient ability that would allow him to create a perfect shape to break the fall, it still had the ability to teleport to any of the rose petals that were undoubtedly slowly falling from the sky.

The only issue was that it would take him a while to get to the ground but with a loud sigh he decided to ignore the problem and cover himself with the white cloak on his halberd to teleport higher in the air.

It was going to be a long fall.

...

A few minutes later...

...

After a bunch of wild swings with the wooden staff that allowed Jaune to cover himself with the cloak from his Over Soul the slowly falling rose petals finally started to touch the ground. It might have taken at most five minutes but it felt way longer than it actually was.

With a final spin of the halberd he reappeared right next to his friends that were quietly waiting for him with bored expressions while looking upwards.

"That took a while." Whitley said while looking at him appearing right next to him with an uninterested expression on his face to his irritation. None of them even tried to use their Over Souls to help get down faster!

"Not everybody can make themselves a steel slide to go down, you know?" He answered with a huff while releasing his Over Soul.

His complaint was met with a small giggle from everyone near him and a subtle scoff from Whitley who appeared embarrassed about the remark.

He didn't have enough energy to bicker with them so instead of doing that he started to look around to find out where they were.

The place three of them found themselves in was some dense forest somewhere in Mistral. It didn't appear to be as big as Emerald Forest was right next to Beacon but it still was large enough that he couldn't see its end from where they were standing at the moment.

"Do we have any idea where we are or where we are supposed to go?" He asked more Ren than anybody else as the wind shaman was the one who was the most knowledgeable about Mistral among all of them.

"Your guess is as good as mine. I might be from Mistral and I might have traveled a lot but knowing where we are based on some trees in one of the countless forests on the continent is beyond me." Ren answered with a shrug.

"I saw a small village to the east of here when you three were falling. It might be a good idea to go there as a way of finding out where we are." Ren's father said while pointing to one of the sides of the forest and all the other spirits nodded in confirmation.

"Then we have one thing out of the way already. All that's left to do is to find out where this United Tribes Village is located and go there." Whitley said with a small shake of his head before immediately going towards the direction Li Ren pointed to.

"Hurry up. There's no point in staying still, we have three months to get there and as far as we know it might be anyw-" Whitley tried to add but he stopped himself after a loud whine-like sound echoed through the forest.

"What was that?" He asked right before the sound repeated itself.

"It sounded kinda like a sloth?" His guardian spirit answered with just as much certainty and confusion in her voice as he had when he asked the question.

If they were to turn their heads slightly to the side then they would have been able to see Lie Ren groaning into both of his hands while standing completely still and being fully aware what was the origin of that noise.

After a few seconds of the unexplained noise repeating itself the leaves in the trees started to rustle as something began to move through the treetops.

The rustling began closing in on them as all the other sounds quietened down. He and Whitley looked subtly at one another before turning in opposite directions to cover each other's backs.

Summer looked at him with concern as if to quietly ask what to do. With a quick nod of his head she immediately turned into her spirit ball form to be ready to form an Over Soul in case of a fight.

Everyone was tense. They were dropped together with every other shaman who was in the bullhead so it was highly likely that whatever was coming towards them was either an Over Soul of an opposing shaman or the enemy shaman themselves.

It wouldn't be strange if one of the many people present during the drop would decide that using the momentary confusion after the fall would be the perfect occasion to strike some of the possible competition down.

He gulped loudly as he took a step back from the trees when suddenly something or rather someone dropped from one of the trees before him.

"I found you!" The person screamed with glee as they landed on the ground and somehow the groans coming out of Ren the moment he saw that person were loud enough to be clearly heard through the scream.

"Nora." Ren said while looking straight at the red haired girl before them. "Why? No. How are you here?"

"I sneaked into the invisible bullhead you were flying on. You didn't think I wouldn't take part in a secret tournament between super humans that are capable of seeing ghosts, did you?" Nora answered with a grin.

He didn't dare to ask how Nora of all people managed to sneak her way into anything, let alone an event organised by the Great Spirit itself. The longer you knew Nora the more you learned that questioning what she did led only to more confusion.

At least she was the only one who sneaked in and they didn't have to worry about other unexpected appearances.

"Besides, team RWBY sneaked in with me as well." Nora added.

"What?! My little roses are somewhere here as well?! Quickly Jaune, ask her where they are right now! We have to find them!" Summer practically screamed into his ear the moment she heard that.

Knowing that there was no point in denying Summer this request if he wanted to take a part in anything related to shaman activities at all he relayed his guardian spirit's message to Nora.

"I'm not certain but I'm pretty sure that I saw them flying in roughly that direction when everyone was falling." Nora said while pointing in the opposite direction then they were about to go.

A single look at Summer was enough for him to know that the plans that they just made were already forgotten.

"In that case that's where we will be going. I'm sure we will find another village or town in that direction anyway." Summer said loudly before flying off in the direction her daughters supposedly were.

With a single sigh he followed right after. He knew how important her daughters were to Summer so there was no point in trying to stop her. He was pretty sure that even if she didn't storm off there alone then he would have decided to go find Summer's daughters himself. Three months was a lot of time and it barely just started so they could afford having some side objectives.

It didn't take long for the Ren father and son duo to follow him and for Nora to catch up to them with a skip to her quick walk. It seemed that their first destination was decided.

"Wait! Are we really just going to put the tournament aside because four huntresses in training could get lost after sneaking into something they shouldn't even be aware exists?" Whitley asked in exasperation.

"Yup." He said with almost no emotion and when he saw that Whitley was still as reluctant as he was before he added. "Just give up Whitley. There's no way you can win against Summer when it comes to her daughters."

"I-You-Arghh!" Whitley shouted before going after them as well. "If I lose in the second round of the tournament because of that then I'm blaming it all on you three."

Whitley's reaction was met with a bunch of laughter from all of them including Whitley's own guardian spirit.

With the loud laughs echoing through the forest the second round of the Shaman King Tournament properly began for them and he could only hope that it wouldn't be too much more eventful compared to the first one.

So the setup chapter for the second round is finished.

The team is looking for another team and the other team is currently doing something. (You will learn in the next episode.)

See ya.
