Mallus6 - We went over this in "Incredible Heroes". I know this, but does Peter know that? No. He was stressed out and didn't want to risk accidentally setting off the machine earlier, still unable to control his powers to their fullest. Miles is still learning to control his powers, so he doesn't know how much he can lift. They're still learning to control their powers, and also trying not to destroy anything with their strength. And again...503 people. Let's try not to destroy the city by accident. He has a Symbiote messing with his mind, to the point that it is becoming a part of him. And he's only been Spider-Man for four months. He's still learning to control his powers as the only time he's been able to tap into his full power was when he saved MJ from a crashing building. It's a matter of situation and circumstances...And to be honest, it was a last-minute decision to change it. That was the only time I could see Peter being able to learn his brother was the Arrow and decided to change it from Peter and Miles stopping the machine.

Peter wasn't able to get much sleep that night. Could you blame him? He learned his brother was the Arrow, and the Symbiote currently living in his body is an alien parasite that seemed to have a liking towards Malcolm Merlyn in the same night.

Not to mention that Anya has grown quiet to the point she doesn't even talk to him at school anymore. Instead of meeting up at FEAST or anywhere else they would usually meet up at, she spends more and more time at Oscorp.

While he was wondering why she was ignoring him, he also was mostly focusing on how to bring up to Oliver he knows his secret.

How do you bring something like that up?

Especially without revealing the fact he's Spider-Man to him.

Is it even a secret worth keeping anymore?

"A successful mayoral campaign isn't about polling." The Queen family, minus Peter as he had school and was on his way over now, are talking with their mayoral friends to get ahead of Sebastian Blood. "It isn't about funding or not button issues. It's about connecting with people. That's why right after we announce tomorrow, Moria I wanna get you in front of many cameras as possible. Morning shows, talk shows-"

"Mark, I want to help this city, not pander to it." Moria interrupted his speech.

"It's not pandering, mom. It's campaigning," Oliver told her.

"Let the people get to know the real Moria Queen, and they'll fall in love with you," Mark assured her.

"Speaking from experience," Robert replied with a smile. "This man knows what he's talking about, Moria. He was able to get Norman into office, I see how he'll have no trouble with you."

Peter then finally showed up as he walked into the office. "Hey. Sorry, I'm late. Schoolwork held me back."

"Actually, we were just wrapping it up here," Walter informed Peter.

"Yeah, you didn't need to come down all this way." Oliver agreed.

Peter looked to his brother and became anxious, with no idea what to do with the knowledge he has. "Actually, I was here to meet up with one of the scientists about something. So..." he then started to back up. "See you guys at home."

As soon as he left, Thea and Oliver looked at one another, feeling something off with him.

"Did that seem weird to you?" Oliver asked Thea.

"It's Peter, he's always been jittery." Thea shrugged it off as Peter being Peter.

Oliver was then asked by Mark to cut his support for Sebastian Blood, and he understood that. But then he was given a phone call saying Laurel was in the hospital.

Peter made it back down to Sara Ehret's Labs to see the rest of the results that she came across on the substance.

"Hey, Dr. Ehrtet." Peter greeted as she looked up and noticed him.

"Hey, Peter. I've had some free time recently, and as I looked over your substance." Sara said as she gestured to the black goo that suddenly became more erratic as Peter came closer. "It's quite the little specimen."

"Its chemistry is not unlike the chondritic meteorites from the 70s," Sara said as she added some water to the substance.

"Really?" Peter asked.

"Yeah, it seems to be amplifying characteristics of the host. Especially aggression. This thing could be dangerous." Sara commented in concern. "Where'd you find this again?"

"It...found me." Peter shrugged, trying to keep it a secret.

"Well, from what I was able to gather from my friends at Oscorp, they say this was Malcolm Merlyn's pet project. It was...drawn to him. Peter, you didn't keep any of this, did you?" Sara asked, looking towers Peter. Peter froze for a moment, wondering if he should tell her. Yet again, he's trying to understand how it was drawn to him. "Peter?"

That's when a piece of his mind started to whisper suggestions into his mind. Keep the suit a secret. If they take it away, he couldn't protect his friends or family. He was weak without it.

"No, no. Of course not." Peter promised. Almost like his mouth and brain were in someone else's control at that moment.

The day went as normal for Peter as it could get, but he started to feel more and more impatient at almost everything. His entire body felt like there was something wrong between the connection with the Symbiote and Merlyn. Something wasn't sitting right.

While that was happening, Moria was enjoying some time to herself in the living room.

"Miss. Queen, there's a Miss Smoak here to see you." One of the servants told her.

"Who?" Moria asked, recognizing the name but unsure.

"Me." Felicity made herself known as she came in.

"If you're looking for Oliver, he's not here." Moria was sorry to inform her.

"I know, I'm here to see you," Felicity said as she walked closer.

"Really? About what?" Moria asked as she marked her place and looked over to Felicity.

"Tempest," Felicity explained, grabbing Moria's attention. "I flagged a large wire transfer you made. When I mentioned it to Walter, he said he would talk to you about it. I could tell from his face he wouldn't. British people see bad liars."

"Yes, they are." Moria sighed and saw someone else might now have the information.

"So, I looked into it myself because, full disclosure, I...don't trust you," Felicity explained herself to Moria. "You paid a substantial amount of money to a Dr. Gill, another small amount going to the Corazon family. Dr. Gill was the doctor who delivered Peter, which didn't make sense to me. Looking at the Corazon family, I recognized Anya was a friend of Peter's, and I failed to see a connection. Looking deeper into it, I discovered she works at OsCorp. That helped narrow down my search when I learn a friend of hers, Alana Jobson, was digging into the past and checking out some files on Robert. That's when I remembered what you said at your trial. You had an affair with Malcolm Merlyn one year before Peter was born. Merlyn is Peter's father?"

Moria sighed and saw the secret was out again. "I can see why Walter and Oliver have such a high appraisal of your capabilities. So, what are you going to do with this information?"

Felicity didn't even think she was right and had no idea how to answer that. "I don't know. Confronting you in your living room was as far my plan went. I thought you deserved the chance to tell them yourself. They should hear it from you."

"I'm not going to tell my sons or daughter anything, and neither are you," Moria stated, walking up and circling Felicity. "If you won't keep my secret for Oliver's sake you should keep it for your own." That confuses Felicity a little and Moria saw why. "I see the way you look at him. If you tell him this, you will rip his world apart. And a part of him will always blame you. He'll hate me for sure, but he'll hate you, too. We all have to keep secrets, Miss Smoke."

Felicity then silently walked past and made her way out of the home.

Peter was going to stop by OsCorp and ran into Anya in her labs. She seemed to be focusing on a project when Peter came in and she noticed him.

"Hey, Pete. What are you doing here?" Anya wonders.

"Sorry, I thought I should have called, but then I thought you'd just try and avoid me." Peter apologizes to her. "You've been doing that a lot."

"Have I?" Anya asked, not even noticing that herself.

"Yeah, you haven't been hanging out with us. Talking to us. Is this about the Symbiote?" Peter started to wonder, thinking she might be afraid of his strength.

"No," Anya promised, but then realized it kinda was. "Okay, yes. But that's not the entirety of it."

"Then what is it?" Peter wonders.

Anya wished she could tell him. Keeping it a secret is burning her inside. "I want to tell you, Peter. I really do. But...I promised I wouldn't."

"That's why you're avoiding us?" Peter asked, surprised to hear there's a secret she can't tell him herself. "Because of a secret?"

"It's a big one, Peter. And every time I see you, I think...he's searching for answers, and I can't tell him the answer."

"Wait...you know why this Symbiote is attracted to me?" Peter was shocked to hear.

"Yes," Anya confesses. "But...I...I can't tell you."

"Why not?" Peter asked.

"That's a conversation you need to have with your mother," Anya told him, knowing she wasn't going to tell him without his mother telling him first.
