Aftermath 2: Punches, Pranks, and More Problems
Here we are again, for another aftermath show. Who's ready for cake? It'll make sense later, trust me.
TheMasterKat: Yep, Coyle definitely got outsmarted. And I'm glad Miu is growing on you. I get she's an acquired taste, but to those who like her, she never gets boring. She's fun to write.
1602jaw: Thanks so much. And the ending was actually planned that way. I thought the way it ended would be funny. And I'm happy to know you're excited to see Gjira's trump cards, the Ultimate 7.
Jim McCawley Darney: I honestly don't quite know myself. It's honestly not easy, but I like to just incorporate my sense of humor and style.
SteelRobot: It's mostly just Gura and Korone that I like to watch. They're wholesome meme goldmines.
Guest: Well damn. You just guessed all 7 of them right.
ThelastCyberKnight: It's little funny moments like that can go a long way at times.
thenewsubwayguy: I just struggled finding a plot for Sora. I'm very sorry to his fans. Even though DIO isn't competing, he's still being a dickhead like always, pulling some strings.
That guy: Maybe he could've. But if he busted out his more high octane attacks, someone would have gotten seriously hurt.
Ortizale317: At least you still have some people to root for.
NondescriptNorbert: I'm so glad that you enjoyed it through and through. This also made a good breather chapter, as I suggest you buckle up for what's next. The ride only has one speed.
Happiness studios: It was all intentional. I actually took a long time to get it all right. Those two chapters were the hardest for me to work on so far.
Now, let's all catch up with some old faces.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
We now open up in Katakuri's dressing room. Since the last show, the producers provided the pirate with a bigger room to accommodate his huge size. This time, he was dressed in a black tuxedo, looking very formal. He looked at himself in a full body mirror, hardly recognizing himself.
"Looking very distinguished." He told himself. He looked on his desk, and saw a small wrapped package. Inside was a very pretty and expensive necklace. Today was his and Charlie's anniversary, and he had plans for the two of them after tonight's show. The gift was just part of it.
Katakuri hears a knock at the door, and quickly tucks the gift away in his suit. He goes to the door, and groans once he sees who's on the other side.
It was the show's biggest sponsor, Byakuya Togami.
"What are you doing here?" Katakuri asked. You could hear the venom drip with his voice.
"Did I give you permission to address me that way?" Byakuya sneered. "But I couldn't care less. I'm just helping you and that girl with tonight's show. Be grateful."
Katakuri, much like most of the cast, could not stand this pretentious and condescending teen. But he was a big contributor to the show, so he couldn't lift a finger on this guy, no matter how badly he wanted to.
Luckily, Charlie came up to them and prevented any further irritation.
"You guys ready, yet?" Charlie asked with her usual sweetness.
"I am." Katakuri said quickly.
It was showtime.
The three of them step out onstage as the crowd goes wild.
The theme song for the show plays as clips from the previous episodes are shown in a slideshow
We flash to London.
"But with what happened tonight, I'm really conflicted about my priorities. Carla is my family." Wendy said, followed by her elimination.
"So then I'm leaving, too! I've hit my limit!" Max yelled, as he quit the show.
We then flash to Whole Cake Island.
"You idiot! Getting yourself killed….. f-for me….." Aqua said, as she then took the Drop of Shame.
Next, we flash to the world of SMG4.
"Heh. At least you acknowledge that you're scared of me, tin can." 18 said as she took her leave.
Then, we move on to Rapture
"Sorry, guys. But it's do or die." Meggy said, then moving onto her elimination.
Lastly, we finish at Hogwarts, where the last three eliminations took place.
"Should've seen that coming. I just feel like no one takes me seriously here." Sora said.
"But what happened? I don't remember anything." Reg said.
"But it seems like luck has given you a chance to fight on for Reg. Don't waste this chance." Edgeworth told Miu.
Once the slideshow ends, the crowd's cheers die down as Charlie, Katakuri, and Byakuya sit down on one of the sofas.
"Greetings again, Total Drama fans!" Charlie said. "Welcome to another amazing episode of the Total Drama Infinite 2 Aftermath show! I'm Charlie."
"And I'm Katakuri."
"And also here today is the show's biggest contributor, Mr. Byakuya Togami!"
Byakuya just gives a nod.
"Now that introductions are out of the way, what say we get this show on the road?" Charlie said. "Since last time, a lot has happened. And I mean A LOT."
"Here's a little refresher for all of you." Katakuri said as the screen lowered.
The first scene showed the Wolves tussling with Genocide Jack, then Toko joining their already weird team.
Then we see Terry risking his life by fighting an unwinnable battle against Big Mom.
Next, we see some of the crazy antics the cast went through in the SMG4 channel.
Then we see Giovanni land a devastating homerun strike on Fontaine down in Rapture.
Then it finishes up with the crossover hijinks the gang gets into at Hogwarts.
"We weren't lying when we told you these recent episodes have been crazy." Katakuri said. "Especially the challenge hosted in my world."
"So tell me, how was your home in the aftermath of your mother's rampage?" Byakuya asked.
"This isn't the first time this has happened. Mama can be very unpredictable. If not for Rick, everyone would be dead. But before we continue any further, let's give a big round of applause to our peanut gallery of former competitors!"
Everyone clapped for the peanut gallery, which consisted of King Harkinian, Popo, Nana, Nicole, Mercy, Dororo, Geralt, Elena, the Nomad, JFK, Tatsumaki, Mae, and Spinel.
"And let's not forget competitor Russel, and the rest of his band, Gorillaz!" Charlie said. The audience applauded for the band on the other side of the stage, consisting of Russel, Murdoc, 2D, and Noodle.
"Hmm. So this is the rest of that riffraff." Byakuya said coldly.
"Who are you calling riffraff?!" Nicole snapped. She was going to charge at the affluent progeny, but Geralt and the Nomad held her back.
"I actually have to agree with her." Tatsumaki said. "Where do you get off, treating us like garbage?"
"U-uhhh…." Charlie said nervously. She was really trying her best to make sure a fight didn't break out. "SO! How has everyone been since the last time we all met up here?!"
"Oh, you know….. business as usual." Dororo said, rolling her eyes. "Gotta keep making money. I've been making a killing selling merchandise and memorabilia of this show."
"And does Chris know that you're doing that?!" Byakuya asked. "Because I'm pretty sure he hasn't earned a dime of what you've been making."
"Don't worry. I'll give him a cut eventually. Probably about 5%." Dororo then gives a cheeky laugh.
"I've actually been doing much better since I gave "you know who" an ass kicking." Mae said. "I don't care what my therapist says. Don't eff with me."
"As for me, it has actually been quite interesting." Mercy explained. "I'm actually going to be helping out in a future challenge, much like Katakuri."
This really piqued the audience's interest.
"C'mon. Give us some details!" Charlie asked.
"Sorry. Don't want to spoil it. It's actually quite a fun one." Mercy explained.
"Anyway, back to the topic at hand," Katakuri continued, "the biggest shake up since last time has been two new faces that have joined the game."
The screen above shows a picture of Toko and Giovanni.
"Toko Fukawa," Charlie began, "a gifted writing prodigy, who can be moody and critical of others. Even herself. But she has an alter due to having Dissociative Identity Disorder. That alter is the serial killer known for killing any man that tickles her fancy, Genocide Jack."
"And Giovanni Potage." Katakuri said. "A self proclaimed criminal mastermind, who's honestly a much nicer guy than he claims to be. Says he respects all of his "minions", and oddly enough, has the power of soup at his disposal."
"You're one to talk, you know." Russel pointed out. "You can turn into that sticky rice cake dough stuff."
"Fair enough." Katakuri said. "But these two have really shaken up the dynamic of the game."
"Aren't you going to bring up the fact that Giovanni worked for that Gjira guy?!" Nana asked.
Katakuri's eye twitched at the mention of the galactic tyrant. Clearly, he wanted to forget about it, but it was something he couldn't avoid. He sighs, and decides there's no better time to talk about it than now.
"I can't believe he found a guy like him. Even though Giovanni seems harmless, that's not my biggest worry. I've been concerned ever since his children invaded my territory, and caused mama to go into a hunger pang."
"What's worse is….." Charlie began, "Edward blames himself for the whole incident. Watching the show, I can tell he hasn't been himself since."
"And surprisingly, Rick, of all people, is helping him through it." Elena said. "He doesn't have the best track record when it comes to helping someone out."
"So this Gjira fellow….." Byakuya said, sounding interested in the subject, "was to blame for that incident?"
"Yes." Charlie answered. "All we know is that he's a man who goes all around the universe and wages war against any and everything."
"He's put everyone in danger once." Katakuri said. "Who's to say he won't do it again?"
"Regardless, the game will continue as planned." Byakuya said.
"Are you insane?! You should maybe, I don't know, tell Chris about this!" Charlie exclaimed.
"Where would the fun in that be? If they're not strong enough to face any obstacle thrown their way, then they just don't have the drive to win."
Katakuri, again, wanted to punch this snot nosed brat, but couldn't.
"But what about Ed?" Spinel interrupted. "How do you think he'll feel if something happens again?"
"That I don't know." Katakuri replied. "All I hope for is that he pulls himself together. I hate to see him push all of his friends away. I don't think it's a burden he can handle all on his own."
There was a brief silence from everyone, but Charlie tried to quickly get everyone into a hyped mood.
"Now how about we bring in those competitors, huh?! Or I guess I should say, former competitors?!"
The audience cheers at this, now more excited than ever.
"But before we bring out our first two guests, let's see how they're doing."
The screen turned on again, and we could see Wendy and Max backstage. Wendy sat there, with Carla in her lap, swinging her legs back and forth. Max, on the other hand, looked irritated as usual. After Mae and TheMasterKat opened up a can of whoop ass on him, Max is seen with gauze wrapped around his forehead, and one of his legs in a cast, having to use crutches to move around.
"I'm really nervous to go out there." Wendy told them. "In front of so many people."
"Don't let your nerves get the better of you, child." Carla told her. "This is far from the biggest challenge you've ever faced."
"I guess you're right. And I'm really looking forward to seeing Katakuri again. I'm excited."
"Would you shut it?!" Max snapped. "Your voice is getting on my nerves!"
"I guess karma doesn't change everyone." Carla muttered.
Katakuri laughed at this. "Alright, let's bring them out.
Charlie started them off. "First up, she's a twelve year old with motion sickness, a cat for a best friend, a talent for sky magic, with a kind and noble personality, let's give it up for last season's winner, Wendy!"
Wendy walks out on stage, carrying Carla and kindly waving to the crowd as she takes a seat on the other sofa. At least the sight of his unofficial little sister gives Katakuri a little semblance of relief.
"And our next guest is a ten year old with the attitude of ten angsty teens rolled up into one." Katakuri continued. "He talks big, but couldn't handle a scissor wielding mad woman, here's Max!"
Max does his best as he uses his crutches to get across the stage. Once he gets across, he sits right next to Wendy.
"Good to see you again, Kid." Katakuri said as he gave Wendy a head pat.
"Welcome to the show, you guys." Charlie said. "It's good to have you here. How have you guys been since you left the game?"
"I've been okay." Wendy answered. "We're not taking the loss too bad. Besides, I won last season, and I'm still living off that money. Exchanging that to jewels, it's still a lot."
"What about the fact that you were tricked by Starscream?" Katakuri asked. "He kidnapped Carla, distracting you from the challenge at hand."
"It still feels crummy, but I'm not going to harp on it. I'm 100% sure he won't win anyway."
"Well, it's been shitty for me." Max replied. "I'm still trying to heal up from these damn injuries!"
"Which you totally deserved!" Mae yelled. "But I forgive you now!"
"Only 'cause you and that author woman beat me with bats!"
"Can we please not fight?" Charlie pleaded.
"On that note, we have a few questions for you two, sent in by the viewers." Katakuri said as he took out a list of questions.
"Wendy, this first question comes from TDI2 Fan. They ask, "Do you feel that bringing Carla cost you the game?""
"Not at all." Wendy answered. "I only lost because someone decided to play dirty. And I don't like it when someone wins by cheating. Screamer could have done the same thing to anyone else, and get the same result. I blame it on cheating, plain and simple."
"That still doesn't change the fact that DIO had a hand in it." Katakuri growled. He then looked at Byakuya. "And you! Why don't you tell Chris that Starscream is cheating by having DIO help him?!"
"It's not my problem." Byakuya said smugly. "It'd spoil the fun."
"Unbelievable….."
"Do you do anything besides get stressed out?" Max asked. "If you're done with sky kid over here, how about we talk about me?!"
"...My apologies. But real quick, Wendy. Who Do you want to win?"
"Probably Susie." Wendy answered. "She's been doing a great job so far, and I hope things work out with her and Iida. They were both great teammates to have."
"They look so cute together." Nana said. "Same goes for Isabelle and Waluigi."
"That is, when Waluigi actually makes a decision." Popo pointed out.
"You know what? Good for Susie." Geralt said. "For someone who claims to be my rival, shes really showing a more human nature to her. I never guessed she still felt guilty about working with DIO."
"All right, Max." Charlie said. "The floor is yours. Tell us about your thoughts after leaving the show."
"Well, I honestly thought I'd be running that game by now." Max said. "After Mae, I thought I'd mow through the rest of the competition. That is, until she got in the way."
"Ah, you mean…..mean...Toko." Byakuya said, shuddering at the thought of being near the girl that obsesses over him.
Fortunately, Katakuri took notice of Byakuya's reaction.
"Aww, what's the matter?" He remarked. "Scared of love?"
"No!" Byakuya snapped. "That girl is a hazard to my health! Besides, I'm here just trying to do my job!"
"Can we get back to me here, pretty boy?!" Max snapped. "Quit going off on all these tangents!"
Byakuya quickly regains his composure. "R-right."
"Speaking of Toko, we got a couple questions for you, Max." Charlie said. "This first one is from eo5494. They ask, "If you were back in the game, would you continue your plan, even with Toko around?""
"Hell yeah!" Max lied. "I'd still be kicking ass!"
"Are you sure about that?" Byakuya asked skeptically. "Because your other question is from a….. Happiness studios. They ask "Why were you suddenly scared of Jack? Why did you run away like a little girl with a spider in her hair? And how did your friends back home react?""
"Geez…. these questions are cutthroat." Max complained. "Look, she just caught me by surprise, okay?! She's a total psycho, which is why I left. But looking on it now, I may have….. jumped the gun on that one. Most of them seem to be okay with that chick. If I knew that was gonna happen, I'd have stayed."
"So then what did your friends think?" Katakuri reiterates.
"They wouldn't stop hounding me about quitting. We were gonna split the million, and thought I gave up too easy."
"What a chump." JFK laughed, much to Max's chagrin. "You just gave up like a, uh, loser!"
"Don't act so cocky, JFK." Katakuri said. "We've also got a question for you."
"Well, er uh, fire away big man." JFK said.
"This also comes from TDI2 Fan. The question is, "Do you think Toko is crazy for falling in love with someone?""
"Why, er uh, should I care?" JFK said. "That girl is creepy as hell. She can creep on anyone she wants, as long as it ain't me. She ain't my kinda broad. Now Miu, on the other hand. She's a damn smoke show."
"You know, at first, I never really liked Miu." Katakuri said. "But she's one of two people there who really exceeded my expectations."
"What do you mean by that?" Geralt asked. "Do tell."
"Well, I at first viewed Miu as a foul mouthed little pervert, but she's really come a long way. There's more to her than what I originally thought. Same goes for Aqua, but we'll get to her. Before we bring out our next guests, I've got one more question for you Max. Who Do you want to win?"
"If we're being honest, Starscream." Max answered. "DIO's doing a damn good job outside of the game, and I admire his cunning. Who else would I root for then his lackey if I can't win?"
"...Fair enough. To each their own, I guess. Wendy, Max, it's been a pleasure to talk to you two."
"Alright, what do you say we bring out the next guests?!" Charlie asked.
The crowd cheered as the screen showed Aqua and 18 backstage. 18 looked bored, while Aqua was looking through the fridge back there.
"Man!" She pouted. "Not one bottle of liquor down here? This stinks."
"A drink is the last thing anyone needs before going out onstage." 18 pointed out."
"They seem to be doing fine, so let's bring them out." Charlie said. "Next up, we have a goddess who excels in magic, but lacks in the luck and intelligence department. She's always looking for her next get rich quick scheme, and is swimming in debt, give it up for Aqua!"
Aqua walks out and happily waves to the crowd, but trips over nothing and falls flat on her face. Though she does quickly pick herself back up.
"Next up," Katakuri said, "we have a tough as nails cyborg who means business. She's strong, serious, and comes from a pretty strong family herself, here's Android 18!"
18 quietly walks across the stage and joins Aqua.
"So, ladies," Charlie said, "you seem to be doing well."
"Yeah, it is what it is." 18 said casually.
"So how's life treated you since your elimination?"
"Just getting back to my regular life is all." 18 explained. "I got a family back home, and it's been nice to see them after so long."
"I've been okay." Aqua said. "Kazuma is acting like a cocky jerk since he bet that I wouldn't win."
"So I'm to assume you all have caught up with what's been going on?"
"Hell yeah!" Aqua complained. "I knew it wasn't my fault with the cake!"
"Yes." Katakuri affirmed. "It was Gjira's children. I'm sorry for what that incident did to you and Terry."
"Thanks. At least he's still in it. He seriously better win."
"On that note, there's a fan question for you." Charlie said. "From TheHiddenAuthor5000. Their question is, "Would you marry Terry?"
"I mean….." Aqua begins. "I'll still be with him whether he wins or loses. But if he wins that money, I'll do literally anything he asks. And I mean anything."
"...Oh. Really?"
"That's right. But he's gotta ask for my hand in marriage."
"Can I tell you something serious for a second?" Katakuri asked her. Aqua nods.
"Let me be frank. At first, I didn't like you. Hated you, even. All you were to me was a whiny, spoiled, entitled brat. And you still kinda are. But your actions, and integrity actually surprised me."
"Oh….thanks?"
"Bottom line is, you're not as much of a brat as I originally thought. You and Terry deserve each other, and I'm happy for you two."
"Thanks." Aqua said. "I always thought of you as a big and scary grouch."
"Hey!"
"But there's a soft heart beneath that tough exterior." She finished.
"Wow. Who'd have thought that Aqua chick would also have a heart?" Murdoc snickered.
"What'd you say, you pickle?!" Aqua shrieked.
"You have one last question." Byakuya told her. "From thenewsubwayguy. Good lord, have these people heard of a spacebar? Anyway, they ask, "Would you have changed anything about your performance in the game?""
"Maybe… If I didn't eat all of our food in the Amazon. Probably just that."
"That's the only thing she'd change?!" Popo exclaimed.
"Remember, she's not that bright." Geralt said. "There's a lot more she could've done better."
"Now let's talk with you, 18." Charlie said. "Any thoughts about your performance?"
"I'd say I did pretty good." 18 said. "It's such a shame that I got taken out before the merge. I probably would have been too tough of an opponent for some. I'm not trying to be arrogant about it or anything, just stating facts."
"She makes a good point." Spinel said. "I hear a lot of people in her world are really strong."
"You're not wrong." 18 said. "It makes sense they'd choose to boot me."
"Which brings us to our next question." Katakuri said. "This one is another question from TDI2 Fan. The question is, "How do you feel about Starscream eliminating you?""
"Did I not make it clear?" 18 said. "I'm not gonna hold a grudge about it. It shows he was scared to really take me head on. He's with DIO, and if history means anything, anyone who works for DIO is doomed to fail."
"Ain't that the truth." Spinel said, remembering the anguish DIO put her through while being in his alliance, and then kicking her out.
"Bottom line is, it's not like losing is the end of the world for me. I could still earn money. Just enter a martial arts tournament, and win the prize money."
"Looks like Dororo isn't the only one who knows how to make the big bucks." 2D said.
"We already know Aqua's betting on Terry to win, but who's your pick?" Katakuri asked.
"Honestly, Edward." 18 said. "If he stops worrying about all that Gjira junk, he could probably reach the finale again. He's smart and strong, but even I can tell this problem is putting a lot of stress on him."
"He should just tell them." Tatsumaki said. "I'm sure they'd be understanding."
"Didn't Rick say the more people know of Gjira, the stronger he gets?" Wendy said. "If that's really true, then…."
"It really looks like he doesn't want to burden everyone with his problem." Katakuri added.
"Can we refrain from talking about that runt?" Byakuya scoffed. "We've got a thirty minute time slot, and we're more than halfway through. So I suggest you speed this up."
"Well, Aqua, 18, it's been nice talking to you two." Charlie said. The audience cheers for them as they join the rest of the peanut gallery.
"Moving on, here's our next couple of guests." Katakuri said. "Firstly, she's a former inkling with a fear of anime and a competitive spirit. Her life is anything but. Give it up for Meggy Spletzer!"
Meggy runs across the stage, waving to the crowd.
"Next, we have a guy who spends his time chilling with Disney characters." Charlie said. "He's easygoing, a bad pilot, and would probably be the best locksmith to have around, here's Sora!"
Sora flashes the audience a peace sign, as he comes out onstage by performing acrobatic Flowmotion flips. He then lands right next to Meggy on the sofa.
"Well, here's two more unlucky losers." Byakuya snarked, much to Katakuri's annoyance.
"So how have you been?" Charlie quickly said.
"Okay, I guess." Meggy said. "When your life's as crazy as mine, not much can faze you."
"Just trying to get back to my regular life." Sora said. "Doing some traveling, as usual."
"So how do you feel about your performances?"
"I'm honestly okay with what happened." Meggy said. "I may have given up our chance at winning the challenge in Rapture, but it's either that or die. I'm honestly glad Giovanni was there. He was a big help, and I've enjoyed seeing his progress."
"Mine was…...okay." Sora said, sounding a bit unsure."
"Sora, you actually have a question about that." Charlie told him. "A question from NondescriptNorbert. He asks, "How would you describe your time on the show? Are you satisfied you got farther than you did last time, or do you still have regrets?""
"I'm at least proud I made it farther." Sora explained. "I just wish I wasn't blinded by my popularity at Hogwarts. My team never really took me seriously, and it felt nice to not feel like I was in the background."
"That explains a lot." Katakuri said. " But you did play a good game. Everyone on a team is important. Even you. Then again, you were on a team with Starscream, so of course he had to hog all the glory, so don't sell yourself short"
"Heh heh. Thanks." Sora said sheepishly. That means a lot.
"Meggy, we've a couple of questions, and one of them is… interesting." Charlie said. "But we'll get the simple one out of the way. TDI2 Fan asks, "If you hadn't sacrificed yourself, do you think you'd have better chance in the game?""
"Probably not." Meggy said honestly. "There's some pretty tough competition, and I don't have any special superhuman skills. I may be strong in my world, but if we're being honest, I feel a bit outclassed. So what's the other question?"
"Well….. it's not so much of a question as it is a challenge."
"A challenge?"
"A viewer known as PrincessGumballWatterson777 has issued you a challenge. Bring her in!"
A couple of the stagehands wheel in a giant present. Emerging from the present was a dark haired woman of probably Mexican descent. And she pointed a gun at Meggy.
"This is Catalina, from Grand Theft Auto." Byakuya said. "The fan wants you to fight this woman."
"You don't scare me, nina." Catalina Saud as she cocked the gun.
"How is that fair?!" Sora cried. "She's packing heat!"
Fortunately for Meggy, most people in her world are, as one viewer put it, stronk."
Meggy takes out her Splattershot, and sprays orange ink in the woman's eyes.
"Now you're dead, bitch!" Catalina snapped.
But Meggy leaped up and did a drop kick to the face sending Catalina across the stage.
"Scared now?" Meggy said with a cocky tone.
Catalina gets back up and aims her gun again.
"Now all your asses are grass!"
"Worry not." The King said. "I'll shut her up."
The King takes out his dinner blaster and knocks Catalina out cold with a turkey leg.
"Strike four, take your base!" The King said proudly.
"Someone please escort this woman off the premises before she wakes up and shoots the place up." Byakuya said.
The stagehands from earlier drag Catalina away as everyone recovers from the shock of what just happened.
"Well, before we bring out our final guests, let's ask our current guests who they want to win." Katakuri said.
"Definitely Tari." Meggy said. "We really became good friends. Giovanni would be a good second. He says he's evil, yes, but he seems like a fun guy to be around."
If I had to choose someone….." Sora said. "Maybe Kiryu? He got our team back on track when we were on a sour losing streak. If anyone deserves the million, it's him. He's a jack of all trades."
"Not bad choices at all." Katakuri said. "Now then, let's introduce our final two guests. Firstly, he's a young robot who comes from a world known as the Abyss. He's faced many hardships, but none as difficult as this show. Say hi to Reg!"
Reg quietly walked out, feeling a little intimidated by the audience, despite the fact they were cheering for him.
"Lastly, we have a prosecutor who values truth and justice above all else." Charlie said. "His voice commands a presence, and he's often viewed as one of the more sane contestants. Give all your enthusiasm for Miles Edgeworth!"
Edgeworth steps out and gives a curt bow to the audience.
"Welcome, you guys!" Charlie said. "I must say, your performances on the show were really good. I'm sorry you guys got eliminated the way you did."
"Yeah….." Reg said. "I feel awful for getting tricked. That whole experience was terrifying. I'm at least glad no one got seriously hurt. Last thing i remember before blacking out was that i was just heading to class."
"Except for Sora's idiocy." Tatsumaki said.
"I said I was sorry, all right?!" Sora said.
"It must be hard being a robot." Katakuri said. "Makes it easier for people to take advantage of you. Speaking of which, give us your honest thoughts on Miu. You two seemed close."
"Well, she honestly was a big help." Reg admitted. "She fixed me, gave me a few nifty upgrades, and was always sticking up for me. Even though she got a little bit….. frisky at times, she made up for it with how much she supported me."
"She's like a little mom." Charlie said. "With a little more "ara ara" than is needed."
"Much like Aqua, my opinion on her has changed quite a bit." Katakuri said. Coyle may have gotten you eliminated, but at least she couldn't get rid of Miu. Even if DIO is the cause of it."
"He totally one upped her." Elena said. "I don't know who's worse between her and DIO."
"Coyle is certainly the lesser of two evils." Charlie said. "But I think there's more to her."
"Oh really?" Byakuya asked. "Do tell."
"My theory is that Coyle has some humanity in her. She's surely not as cold hearted as DIO."
"I'll believe in it when I see it." Byakuya said. "For a woman who turned a lot of her body into a fighting machine, you've gotta think about how much of her humanity she rejected. The only question is why."
"Can't argue with that." Popo said. "If I had arms like hers, I'd probably feel less human. But at least I'd be able to reach high places."
"We've got a fan question for you, Reg." Charlie told him. "From somebody named SteelRobot. The question is, "If the cast hadn't restrained you in time before you went full-on psycho, do you believe that you may have harmed, or even worse, killed some of the contestants?""
"I do." Reg answered. "Had they not shown up, I think things would've gotten a lot more ugly. I probably would have killed someone. I can't bear the thought of that kind of blood on my hands."
"Don't worry, Reg." Charlie calmly told him. "You're among friends here. We can help you get over this experience."
"Thanks."
"Now, it's your turn, Mr. Edgeworth." Byakuya said. "How does it feel that you were unfairly eliminated?"
"It was quite a shock, yes." Edgeworth explained. "But I should've seen it coming. O was too preoccupied trying to help the Endless cast with their challenge. I felt it was a moral obligation."
"On the plus side, they did manage to find a way to leave the school." Charlie told him.
"That's a relief."
"Speaking of which, you've also got some questions sent in by some fans. First is from NondescriptNorbert. He says "Thank you for taking care of the Endless gang. I'm curious. Why didn't you warn the others about Starscream? Do you have any parting advice to give the Endless cast?"
"I'm glad I was able to help them out." Edgeworth said. "My advice for them would be that whatever adversity they come across, just never lose hope. I realized that it won't help if I outright call out Starscream's actions. DIO still got very far last season, even after Rick did that. I think if I just let things take their time, he'll get eliminated soon."
"That's actually some very wise thinking." Katakuri said. "DIO still managed to worm his way out of elimination, even after everyone else found out about his true goals."
"Here's the last question." Byakuya told him. "Again, another question from TDI2 Fan. It says, "Did you know it was Starscream and DIO who were responsible for eliminating you?""
"I knew Starscream was up to something. I knew he was getting help from someone, but I never realized it was DIO until watching the episode myself. The answer was dangled right in front of me. I feel like such a fool for not realizing it was DIO right away."
"I don't blame you for not realizing it." Russel said. "DIO's just a sneaky and tricky asshole."
"Just goes to show that even though he's not competing, he's still got some influence." Katakuri said.
"Now, our final question to you two." Charlie said. "Who do you want to win?"
"Miu, of course." Reg said. "I think now that she's given a second chance in the game, she's gonna really bring her A game and get serious."
"As for me, it's kind of a tough choice." Edgeworth said. "Perhaps my vote would go to Susie. Enough said."
"How admirable." Byakuya. "Well, we hope you all enjoyed-"
"Wait a second!" Charlie interrupted. "We're not done yet!"
"We've already talked to all of these failures." Byakuya spat. "What else could we have left?"
"There was actually a message sent to the show." Charlie explained. "Sent directly from another parallel version of the show."
"Is it from the Endless crew?" Edgeworth asked.
"It's actually from Total Drama Cruise."
"Wait a second…" Katakuri said with skepticism. "Aren't they the ones responsible for all of those pranks?"
"Well, yes, but the video had a message that called it an "apology video.""
"Very well." He sighed. "Play the video."
The screen above plays, and it cuts to Chris McLean (Not the one from this story) adjusting the camera, as he is seen behind a random iron background, possibly inside a submarine.
Chris McLean: "Hello viewers! I'm Chris from Total Drama Cruise, actually. I'm sending this message to all of you from a different universe. Why you may ask? Well you see, since I pranked you guys the most, I felt sincerely bad about it. So to make it up for you guys, I made this recording as an apology video, and I am also sending you guys an apology cake. Now I know you guys are wondering, Geez is it going to be yet another prank? Trust me, it is not. It just a normal, chocolate cake with icing-"
Suddenly, a huge explosion was heard, which the camera turn to reveal the Lunataks and Jack Frost cover in chocolate, as the bomb stain was seen on the ground
Chris then enters the scene
Chris McLean: "What the hell just happened?! I told you guys to be careful with those".
Tug Mug: "Well I'm sorry we can't handle twenty loads of mine bombs to put into a cake".
Chilla: "Wouldn't it help if we stuck to regular bombs, instead of mine bombs?"
Chris McLean: "But where's the fun in that? And didn't I tell you to also add snakes in it".
Alluro: "How did you expect us to do that? Those snakes would've done nothing but slither germs into it".
Chris McLean: "I don't know! You guys are my interns. You suppose to know what you're doing".
Luna: "Well if you are so eager to do this prank, why not you do it!"
( Chris groans ).
Chris McLean: "You know what? Forget about it. Blue girl ).
( Blue Girl appears ).
Chris McLean: "Turn the camera off and destroy it. I can't believe this prank is now ruined because of pure incompetence".
Red Eye: "I'll show you pure incompetence!"
(Red eye was going to go over there and beat him, if it wasn't for the others stepping in and trying to pull him back. Chris wasn't fazed by this ).
Chris McLean: "Yeeeeaaaah, that tone of yours will be coming from your paycheck".
Alluro: "We don't even have paychecks!"
Jack Frost: "Wait a second, we get paid?"
(Chris groans).
Chris McLean: "Get the inter-dimensional canon. We'll do it the old way".
The screen cuts to static as the cake from the video is wheeled in.
Katakuri stood up, his eyes glowing red from once again seeing the future.
"That video was a red flag!" Katakuri yelled. "Dispose of that cake now!"
But he was not fast enough. The cake exploded all over the peanut gallery. Everyone their was covered in chocolate, snakes, and garbage.
"AW, WHAT THE HELL?!" JFK yelled.
"Mmm. Chocolate." Mae said as she licked some of the chocolate off of her.
"Should've seen that coming." Geralt grumbled.
Aqua ran offstage, shrieking to get the snakes off her.
"Apology video, you said?!" Byakuya said smugly.
"Hey, everyone deserves a chance." Charlie defended. She then quickly turned to the audience, who were clapping at this.
"W-well, that's our show!" Charlie said, trying to remain professional. "Hope you all had a fun time tonight!"
"Join us for our next aftermath show in the future." Katakuri added.
"GOOD NIGHT, EVERYONE!" They both said.
The curtain falls as everyone tries to clean the mess from the prank off themselves.
(Later that night)
"Aww, you really shouldn't have!" Charlie said, gushing over the necklace. "Thanks so much!"
"Nothing but the best for you." Katakuri said. "Happy anniversary. Now let's get going. I have had these dinner reservations for two months."
As the two leave the studio, we transition to Byakuya talking with someone in a dressing room.
"Thank you so much for the interview, Mr. Togami." The other guy said.
"Yes." Byakuya drawls. "Mr…. Zach Xigma, was it?"
"Yessir. I think I got the news I need."
"May I ask you something? During this talk, you rambled on for five minutes about that Gjira guy. Why are you just as concerned about him as Edward?"
Zach looked a little uneasy about the question, but he gave Byakuya the honest truth.
"Because Gjira…. took everything and everyone from me."

I hate leaving things on cliffhangers sometimes, but it just can't be avoided sometimes.
A big thanks goes to my friend 1602jaw for that "Apology Video." It surely did get a laugh outta me. These chapters are meant to be a bit shorter than the other ones, and are actually easier on me sometimes.
I did get quite a lot of questions from you all, but I honestly couldn't use every single question. I tried to use the best and most relevant ones to this. I may have forgot to mention this before, but like the challenge Meggy was issued, you can also issue a challenge or task for one of the upcoming guests on the show instead of a question if you want. Just keep it within reason. Again, thanks to everyone that contributed to this.
Again, this installment was more used for getting some important questions answered, and for some drama, as Byakuya decided to show up for this episode. And what was up with Zach talking about Gjira? The next aftermath will focus on a lot more drama. Especially because I might need to go into witness protection after the next chapter.
I know I explained it before, but here's what's gonna go down in our next chapter. It's off to Romania, as each team must track down one teammate left in the Hoia Baciu Forest. Four of Gjira's Ultimate 7 show up, and things take a dark turn. And I have to give a warning that it's gonna get a bit dark, so there's a warning for that. I'll elaborate more on that in the next chapter, but when i say dark, I mean DARK.
On top of the dark themes, there's ghosts, zombies, genderbending, the return of an old foe, Kirbo's Christianity, and when it's all said and done, one contestant must make a decision that will hit everyone hard.
Well, I'll see you all next time. Don't forget to review and leave your thoughts. Until next time, this is MemeKing, signing off.
