Peter swore he was gonna get Oliver back for trying to shoot him with those arrows, but they had bigger fish to fry. Locating the car that Helena was using to get to the city, they immediately cornered the car.

Oliver stood in the middle of the street with an arrow raised at the car. "It's over, Helena. Get out of the car!"

When the car started to back away it was stopped by Sara and Roy on the other side. That was followed by Peter and Miles walking up and sensing something. The driver then pulled out a gun on them, which Miles immediately ripped out of their hands, followed by Peter yanking them out the open window.

Looking over the driver, they notice that it wasn't Helen or even a woman. "I have a feeling this isn't her?"

"Unless she had a sex change," Miles commented.

"He's just Helena's decoy," Oliver said in anger before pointing the arrow back at him. "Where is she?"

"I don't know! This chick just paid me to take the car for a joy ride. I swear." He tells the five of them.

Meaning that Helena knew that they'd come after her, and already thought ahead of them. And that was confirmed by Felicity when she contacted them to let them know someone has given Helena a ride.

"According to the SCPD, the guy that gave Helena a ride in town is a 22-year-old Poly-Sci major at SCU and a member of Gamma Tau which totally explains the whole I didn't know I was aiding and abetting a known felon thing," Felicity informed them as everyone was back in the Arrow Cave (Oliver will come around to the name, right?) hearing her out. "Anyone with boobs can get a frat boy to do anything."

"I was a frat boy," Oliver informed Felicity.

"Your point is?" Peter asked, gaining a laugh from Miles.

"At least she didn't kill him. That's something." Diggle commented.

"It's a good day if nobody is killed?" Miles asked him in shock. "Man, can we go back to living separate lives?"

"Our separate lives always somehow intervened with one another," Peter admitted.

"Yeah, I always found that weird," Roy replied.

"Keep tabs on the police," Oliver tells Felicity. "See if there's any way that we can track her."

"With that, I and Miles are going home," Peter tells Oliver and the crew. "You guys work nights, but we work until there's a crime. And we have school in the morning to get to."

"He's right." Miles realized and jumped off the stands. "Arrow. Other Arrow." He said farewell to Oliver and Roy before walking away.

"I'm with him," Peter said as he walked off.

"You sure about this?" Diggle asked, referring to Peter and Miles.

"They have potential." Oliver knew his concerns. "Potential to be actual heroes."

Peter and Miles are separated for the night, the two want to get home and the two literally live on two separate sides of the city. With his whole family knowing his secret now, it became easier to come in and out of the house without the need to sneak in.

Not to say that it isn't weird that he can walk into his front door with his suit on without his family freaking out. But it is a weight off his shoulders they don't need to worry about his late nights anymore.

Well, they still worry, but they worry for different reasons and know that he can handle himself if anything happens.

When he was making his way home, he hears alarms blaring off from the OsCorp building nearby, getting him to groan in annoyance. "Really?!"

Inside the building, a young woman was currently stuck in a room with a few tables stuck on top of her. She coughed from the smoke inhalation and tried to get up on her feet. Then her face was revealed to be a familiar face of Alana Jobson, Anya's lab friend.

But before she could trouble herself too much, the weight was lifted off of her and she looked to see Spider-Man.

"Spider-Man?" Alana asked in shock.

"Yep. That's me." Peter said as he reached down and picked her up. "What happened here?"

Then his senses warned him something was coming before looking to see something crash through the walls, leaving more smoke and debris. What they saw was a hulking humanoid towering at about 7 feet in length. its skin was a dark shade of green with rough scales resembling those of a reptile's as well as a dark beachy underbelly, is bald, and eyes mottled yellow. Also possesses a long thick tail as well as sharp teeth and claws. All of these give a very dinosaur-esque appearance.

"Is that...?" Peter didn't know what to think of what he was seeing.

"A lizard," Alana confirmed.

"Is there a chance that one of my criminals won't be related to animal kingdoms?" Peter asked in terror. "Any chance that he's a friendly lizard?"

Just as asked that, he watched the Lizard snarl as it charged right at the two, causing Peter to act fast. He held onto Alana as he did a backflip, kicking the Lizard in the snout in the process, allowing them to get away.

Peter ran off towards the broken window and shot a web to escape with Alana. "Look at that, I hit the jackpot!"

"That was the best you could come up with?" Alana asked as she held onto Peter the best she could.

"Come up with some better quips, then we'll talk," Peter replied. "But I need answers. What was that?"

"Not what, who," Alana informed him. "That was Curtis Connors."

That got quite a shock out of Peter, no idea what he was going to do with that information. He was familiar with Dr. Curtis Connors and his research into genetic regeneration. But it seems somehow that led to a giant lizard.

"I'm going back, but I need to put you down," Peter said, knowing he needed to put Alana down in a hospital somewhere to take Connors down.

When Peter returned to OsCorp, he looked around and noticed the whole building went into lockdown. But it didn't help when he saw the hole that he escaped through was still there. He already sent a call to Oliver, Miles, and everyone he knew, but none of them could get in. Not to mention Helena had already made her appearance and had taken Laurel, and an entire courtroom hostage. Meaning all of them were going to either be asleep or busy. He was on his own dealing with the Lizard.

"Dr. Connors?" Peter called out as he started to look around for the lizard. "Come on, I wanna help you."

But his senses went off, making him turn to one of the last remaining walls in the labs. The Lizard came crashing through, faster than Peter could even react and he was sent flying through the walls, and he is sent flying to several tables and chemicals.

Peter quickly got back up as the Lizard came through the same hole he just created and before he could counterattack, the Lizard pinned his arm to the ground. Followed swiftly was one of his claws trying to attack him, which he was able to dodge despite his immobility. He was able to reach one of the chairs in the chemical labs and tried to use it to smack the Lizard.

That failed as the Lizard blocked it with one of his giant scaly hands. Peter quickly dodged his claws coming down to kill him, grabbed onto Lizard's leg, and webbed it to the ground, then got picked up and thrown into another wall.

Lizard roared in anger when Peter leaped out of the hole and landed on one of the desks before shooting two crossed webs and hitting the lights. Once he yanked them, it ended with the Lizard getting zapped by the electricity.

Once he regained focus, Lizard noticed that Peter was gone. But in reality, he was crawling up the ceiling and sneaking behind Lizard and leaping onto his back. That seemed to anger him while Peter tried to web him down whilst Lizard tried to get him off his back.

"You're not thinking straight, Doc!" Peter stated while the Lizard backed into the wall and crashed through it, but Peter dodged it and leaped off him to avoid the claws. "Stop this! This isn't you!" He stated as he webbed his face and attached them to the ceiling.

That doesn't seem to stop the Lizard as he crashed into the wall and caused Peter to finally let go as he grabbed onto the other side of the room, having the wind knocked out of him. But just then, his senses went off before Lizard could attack, scrapping all of the walls while Peter leaped onto the ceiling, using it to stay away from the psychotic doctor.

"Let's talk this out," Peter begged while the Lizard snarled and crawled up the wall.

Then he began to make it up to the ceiling and chased Peter as he tried to reach the scientist within the monster.

The Lizard just keeps coming at him while smashing the ceiling and lights as Peter dropped down onto the floor, and the Lizard did the same thing but crawls down from the ceiling. This allowed Peter to work fast and try to stick him to the wall using his hand, he then shot off the wall and slid in between his legs.

"All right, so you don't wanna talk?" Peter asks as the Lizard roars at him, revealing his pointy sharp teeth just as Spider-Man shot his face with a web. "There you go."

Lizard then ripped it off and swung his tail at Peter as he quickly grabbed it, but that didn't end well as Peter was swung into the walls and wall again.

"Don't-" Peter tried to stop him when Lizard smacked him into the wall. "...Make me..." He then swung him again and smacked him into the walls. "...Have to..." He was then swung back into the brick wall, but luckily, his suit took most of the damage. "...Hurt you!"

The lizard then spins around, which sent Spider-Man flying down the hall and into the catwalk doors before sliding down it and getting his tail, blood spewing out of it and onto the floor as well as onto his suit.

The Lizard marched down the halls as his tail regrew on his back.

"That's just disgusting!" Peter stated in disgust as he tossed the detached tail off of him and got up to then shoot the walls and slingshot himself at Lizard. But that ended with him getting his face smashed into the wall.

Peter tries to fight him off but fighting became a bit harder for him without his face. But luckily his bottom half was unharmed as he uses his legs to kick the Lizard off of him.

Not letting him have a moment to get back up, Peter quickly leaped around him and began to wrap the Lizard up in a cocoon, followed by shooting webs all around him to keep him stuck.

"Okay, so if I had to guess..." Peter was talking to himself, seeing he finally had a moment to himself. He walked down to a computer and used his tech to hack in quickly. Once inside, he found that he was down the hall where Connors' lab was and got to his computer. "You have a gene cleansing antidote on standby just in case one of these experiments went haywire on you."

Once he found what he was looking for, he started the procedure to make the antidote. While that was happening, he noticed there were a few weapons that caught his attention.

One was of a small handheld prototype hand grenade. But they held a lot of firepower in them. A few on a prototype glider-like drone, and a weird iron mask.

"Antidote complete."

The computer got Peter's attention, getting him focused on that and leaving it alone. But just as he went to grab it, the Lizard came and landed on top of Peter.

"Come on, senses, where are you?" Peter asked, wondering how his senses didn't catch him coming.

As the Lizard went to take a bite out of his face, Peter grabbed his snout with his hand before shooting a web at the cleanser. With it in hand, he tossed the vial into his throat, causing the Lizard to grow weaker.

The Lizard starts to slowly turn back into Curtis Connors, getting Peter the chance to climb back up. When he looked, he saw the doctor was returning to his human form.

"Dr. Connors?" Peter asked him in shock.

Curtis looked down at his missing limb with a tear going down his cheek.

"Welcome back, sir," Peter said in relief.

He just wanted to go home to get to bed. Yet here he was, in the middle of his friend's father's company, cleaning up the mess of a giant green lizard.

"Luckily the police came in and stopped the masked monstrous mutant menace before he could destroy the entire OsCorp building!" Jameson ranted on the screen, footage of the fight between Peter and Lizard playing. "Stay tuned for more news on the masked menace that is plaguing our city!"

Alana scoffed as she turned off the screen in her hospital bed. Luckily her injuries weren't major, and she only had an injured hand that would heal in a week.

Alana sees the news talking about Lizard's takedown and turned it off. "I can't believe it. Spider-Man saves my life, saves Dr. Connors, and yet he's still calling him a menace."

"Yeah, must be terrible." The Doctor said as she cast her arm. "Spider-Man has helped a lot of people."

"Wished that somebody could see him for the hero he is." Alana sighed, having no idea what she could do to help a hero like him.

(A/N) This was both a filler chapter and a chapter to unveil some familiar weapons and to set up a certain someone. Sorry, not sorry. I just didn't wanna repeat the episode of Arrow. But now...it's time to call in the metahumans!

Also, thanks to the whole "Roy attacking the driver" doesn't happen, he doesn't break up with Thea, and Slade doesn't have the opportunity to kidnap her.
