By the time they arrived at the STAR Labs archives, they saw two people running out from the back and confirmed that they were already robbed. Even with the two heroes with super speed, their web swinging was too slow, and they needed to find out what they did.

When they returned to the Arrow Cave, Felicity was already hard at work to discover what it was that Slade stole. "I hacked into Harrison Wells' personal files. He's the director of STAR Labs, which basically makes me unstoppable."

"What'd he steal?" Miles wonders.

"It seems he stole one of their new biotech projects," Felicity explains. "The patent is still pending, which is probably why they didn't want to tell us what it was."

"So what is it?" Oliver asks.

"It's a bio-transfuser," Felicity tells them. "It can deliver blood from one single patient to multiple at once."

"Why would Slade need a blood transfusion?" Diggle asks.

"It's not for him, it's for his followers." Oliver was able to deduce. "Those criminals your friend the Rhino broke out were for Slade and his own personal army."

"Psychopaths who are already criminals with super strength." Peter recapped what his brother was saying. "I do not like the sound of that."

"With a few tweaks, it's possible that Slade could retrofit it for the Mirakuru." Felicity was sorry to say he was right. "Instead of it, metabolizing the person...it happens to the machine."

"That's gonna require a lot of blood," Diggle commented. "Even a man with Slade's stamina can't handle that kinda drain."

"Good," Oliver commented, getting an idea. "He'll be weak, vulnerable and that'll be my opportunity to kill him."

"You do recall we don't know where he is, right?" Miles reminded him.

"Actually, a machine like that would have to pull a lot of power from the grid." Peter deduced a way that they could find it.

"That is correct." Felicity agreed. "We just have to be patient and wait."

"I and Miles could hit the streets." Peter offered.

"You sure that's a good idea?" Sara asked him. "I think you guys should save it for the real fight between Slade."

"You want us to go against Slade?" Miles was shocked to hear.

"You two somehow have the strength to match his." Oliver reminded them. "I've seen you drag an armored truck down the street."

"Yeah, when fighting Martin Li." Peter reminded him.

"Same difference." Oliver shrugged.

Just then, the computers went off and they saw they had a location on the device. "That was fast."

When the three of them arrived at the sight, they started to look around and see what was going on. They found the device and all of the escaped convicts, but to their shock, it wasn't Slade in the chair.

"Roy?" Peter was shocked when they saw that it was Roy who was being drained and sending the Mirakuru out.

"How did he get here?" Miles asked in shock.

"They must have found him." Oliver guessed that's why they haven't heard from him.

Oliver then reached to pull off the device that was draining him when Peter's senses warned him that was a bad idea. Quickly grabbing his brother's arm, he managed to stop him.

"Don't. It'll kill him." Peter warned him.

Just then, Miles' senses went off and he turned to see Slade was there. "Guys!"

"The boy is right," Slade confirmed, getting their attention and Oliver drew an arrow while Peter aimed his shooters. "Removing him mid-cycle will surely end his life."

"Slade, he's just a kid!" Oliver stated.

"Who's here only because you never checked up on him," Slade commented. "You were the one person he counted on, and you failed him."

"Your plan ends here, Slade," Peter promises. "Tell us how to shut it down."

"If you could feel the power that is surging through me..." Slade started to monologue as he strolled over. "...you would know that I do not fear an arrow."

"Do you fear this?" Miles dared as he raised his fist, finally managing to surge with bioelectricity for the first time.

"No," Slade stated.

"Too bad." Miles shrugged as he spun around, sending his fist into the power box, causing an electrical surge that shut the place down.

Slade started to run at them as Peter raced at Slade, jumping down the chair Roy was attached to and punching him in the face. To Slade's shock, he felt the pain and impact as he was sent slamming into the ground.

Miles was able to quickly use this as an opportunity to detach Roy from the machine. "Come on, sleeping beauty. Let's get the heck out of here."

Slade then got back up, wiping the spit off his mouth, and revealed there was blood. "Huh. All of that for a drop of blood."

Peter stood tall and was amazed that he managed to cause this man to bleed. But before he had time to relish in the victory, he was grabbed by Slade and rammed into the wall.

Oliver was about to go help his brother when he watched Peter flip over the man and kick him in the back. That sent Slade to be armed into the wall. When he had a second, he shot two webs to the ceiling and used them to yank himself upward. Slade turned around and was kicked in the face by Peter, who slammed Slade's head into the wall. With the opportunity laying before him, Peter punched the psychotic man several times in the face.

Seeing he had this handled, Oliver saw Miles walking over and carrying Roy over his shoulders. "So, shall we go?"

"In a minute," Oliver said as he noticed a piece of the Mirakuru in a vial.

Peter was currently still fighting off Slade, webbing his face and yanking it so he could knee him in the face. Slade was disoriented as Peter then punched him in the face. Slade was surprised when Peter had managed to actually break his nose, Peter no longer pulling his punches.

Grabbing Peter by the foot, Slade sent Peter slamming into the wall. Groaning out in pain, Peter felt several bones crushed from his strength and lay on the ground.

Slade got ready to crush Peter with his strength when two arrows pierced Slade's chest. Looking to where they came from, Slade saw it was from Oliver while Miles was currently making his escape with Roy.

"Did you think that would hurt me?" Slade asked him.

"No. But this would." Oliver said as he clicked a button on his glove.

The arrows started to bleep, revealing to be bombed arrows. After a few seconds, the bombs went off, sending Slade backward. Peter then got a shot as he leaped up, and kicked Slade to stumble further back, giving him the chance to get away.

Oliver shot a grapple arrow whilst Peter shot out a web to escape.

The three made it back to the Arrow Cave (Oliver will come around) and they put Roy on the operating table. Once he was there, they saw the damage Slade had already done to him.

"He's lost a lot of blood," Sara said as they set Roy up. "I don't know what the bio-transducer did to him, but his pulse is weak. He's barely breathing. He needs a real doctor."

"We can't take him to a hospital, they run tests." Oliver reminds her.

"Trust me, he knows," Peter commented, getting Oliver to look at him annoyed.

"Oh, come on. How many times have you visited the hospital in the past year?" Peter scoffed at the face he was making. "You know you go again, the tenth visit free?"

"Like you can't afford it." Miles rolled his eyes.

"What do we do now?" Felicity wonders, getting the conversation back on track.

"We can only wait now." Diggle could tell.

"What about Slade?" Sara asked. "He's got 20 guys just like him now, not counting the Rhino, and we have no idea how to stop him."

"I wouldn't say that," Oliver said as he showed them the vial he stole.

"Is that what I think it is?" Felicity asks in worry.

Mirakuru." Oliver confirmed.

"You weren't thinking about taking that, were you?" Peter asks, worried about what his brother is planning. "I'll happily take you down right here right now."

"No," Oliver stated and handed it to Felicity. "We're gonna use it to make a cure."

"We don't even know if it's possible to reverse the effects," Felicity commented as she looked over the small vial they have.

"Yes, we do." Oliver corrected her. "Ivo did it."

"And we're only learning this now because...?" Peter wonders.

"Because I was ashamed," Oliver admitted with a sorrowful look. "Five years ago, I had the chance to use the cure on Slade. I chose to kill him. Now it's time I made this right."

Felicity took the Mirakuru to STAR Labs while the siblings have gone above ground just in time for their mother's rally. They were showing their support for their mom, which is something they've started lagging on since they found out he was Spider-Man.

"Hey, there you guys are," Moria said when she saw Oliver and Peter.

"About time," Thea commented, helping set things up for the last-second fixes. "What kept you?"

"Arachnid problems on my part," Peter said and pointed to Oliver. "I have no idea what he has been up to."

"I have a good idea," Moria said with a smile, putting Peter and Oliver off guard. "Well, I gotta go. We're about to start. Oh, and Peter, your friends Anya and Mary Jane actually arrived earlier."

"They did?" Peter was surprised to hear, just when MJ appeared and bumped into him.

"You bet we came, Tiger," MJ said with a smile and Moria made her way to the stage.

"Are we ever gonna get an explanation for that whole Tiger thing?" Thea was curious to know.

"It's...hard to explain," Peter muttered, wondering how to explain where it came from.

"You'd had to have been there." MJ agreed with him.

"Even we didn't get an explanation," Anya said as she gestured to herself and Miles.

"When I was first approached about entering this race, the prospect of winning seemed a distant nearly impossible feat," Moria commented from the stage, silencing them as they paid attention to her. "Now, how could a city that had suffered so much place its faith in someone responsible for its suffering? But as the weeks progressed, good people such as you, raised your voice in support and I began to think I could make a difference. I could help save this city. And in the past few weeks, I now know that I can make a difference!"

The crows started to clap in support of her as Moria continued.

"Should the honor become mine, I promise with every breath I take...to do what is necessary. To sacrifice what is necessary for the good of this city. Starling City is my home, you are my family, and there is nothing more important to me than family. Thank you, thank you all!" Moria finished her speech and walked off stage.

A little while later, Peter felt something happen in his head. His entire body felt like it was buzzing, his head started to hurt, and something big was about to go down.

Quickly pinpointing the source, he was shocked to see it was coming from his family as they started to make their leave.

"I gotta go," Peter tells his friends. "See you guys tomorrow."

"Sure, go," MJ said as he made his leave.

"Hey, guys," Peter called to his family as they were entering the limousine. "Were you leaving me behind?"

Oliver smiled and gestured to the car. "You coming?"

Peter nodded, wanting to see what was supposed to be happening. If he stays here, his family will be in danger for some reason. The four of them traveled down the street in silence while Peter was franticly looking around.

"You good there, Pete?" Thea asks him.

"I don't know," Peter admitted. "My spider sense is still tingling."

"Your what is what?" Moria and Thea ask, both of them have never heard this before.

"It's what I call my sixth sense," Peter explains to the two of them.

"I'm still going by Peter-Tingle," Thea stated with a smile and crossed her legs.

Peter groaned and rolled his eyes. "Why?"

"Because it's cuter," Thea stated with a smile.

"Oliver, help me out," Peter asked, looking at his brother.

"Nah, for the fun of it, I'm gonna take her side," Oliver admitted with a smile.

Peter groaned again when his senses went off again. Something was coming for them. Looking down the street, that's when he noticed something heading their way.

"Rhino!" Peter cried in terror when the rampaging freak made an impact.

The impact with their limo sent the entire truck flying, knocking everyone inside around and unconscious.

When Peter finally opened his eyes again, he was surrounded by blinding lights, and what seemed like dried-up blood pouring from his head. He felt his entire body was in pain after the crash, his ears ringing for a good second or two until he finally heard the cries and whimpering of his family.

His sight slowly came back to him, he saw that Slade was currently standing up against his mother, both her and his sister on their knees with their arms tied behind their back.

Peter tried to stand up when he learned his own hands were tied. Usually, this would be as simple as snapping a twig, but his hands were in excruciating pain. The cuts and bruises from the crash seem to have taken their toll on his body since he'd usually wear his suit before the bruises.

Slade then walked over towards Oliver as he was standing above Peter, forced to his knees. "I was dead the last time you were offered this choice."

"What is happening?" Thea asked through the tears.

"I often wonder how you looked...when he pointed the gun at Shado," Slade said as he kneed down to Oliver. "And took her from me."

"You psychopath." Oliver snarled at the man. "Shado wasn't yours!"

"No, she was yours," Slade commented as he leaned in a little too close. "Until you chose another woman over her."

"That's not what happened!" Oliver cried in anger, this whole thing being six years later.

"It is what happened! It is!" Slade cried out like a psychopath. "She told me!"

Slade pointed out to thin air, confusing the family of four. "What do you mean she? There's nobody there!"

"Slade." Moria started to put a few of the pieces together herself. "You were on the island with Oliver?"

"I thought I had known true despair," Slade commented as he leaned in close to Moria. "Until I met your son. I trusted him...to make the right choice."

"Let me make the right choice now," Oliver begged him. "Kill me! Choose me, please!"

"I am killing you, Oliver," Slade said as he pulled out a gun. "Only more slowly than you would like."

"Don't," Oliver begged him.

"Choose," Slade demanded Oliver as he waved the gun between Thea and Moria's heads. "Choose!"

"I swear to god, I am going to kill you!" Oliver declared.

"Choose!" Slade cried out.

But to everyone's surprise, Moria stood up with tears flowing down her face.

"Mom." Peter spat out, spitting up some blood in the process. "Mom, what are you doing?"

"There's only one way this...night can end." Moria said as she faces Slade. Peter started to become worried about what she was planning and started to try and rip the tie off his arms. "And we both know what that is. Don't we, Mr. Wilson."

Slade looked or her in surprise that she was sacrificing herself. This was mostly the plan, either way, to make Oliver suffer. As well as to put his man into office. But doesn't beam that he could be surprised.

"Both of my children will live," Moria tells Slade. "Thea, Peter, Oliver, I love you all. Close your eyes."

As Slade pointed the gun to her head, Peter felt a surge of adrenaline surging through his brain. He felt the energy flow through his body, almost like a new strength that he's never felt before.

"You possess true courage, Moria," Slade said as he then put the gun away and whispered to Moria. "I'm truly sorry." He then looked away and with a sigh. "You didn't pass that on to your son."

Then he pulled out his sword and was ready to drive it into Moria's chest. But just at that second, Peter grabbed onto the blade, unveiling to have freed his hands from the bonds.

"What?" Slade was shocked, seeing this boy was stronger than him.

But Peter wasn't in any mood to make any comment or quip.

His face had the look of fury.

Anger.

Hatred.

Vengeance.

Punching the blade with his second hand, shattering it in half and sending fragments flying. That was followed by Peter punching Slade while he was distracted. Punching him in the face, Slade took several steps back at the sheer force of his hit. Peter then shot out a web from his shooters, pulling Slade back towards him. Punching him across the face, cutting his cheek, and sending Slade to the ground, Peter didn't give him a second to see what was happening.

Tackling him to the ground, Peter sent punch after punch at him. No longer holding back any of his hits, he started to break every bone in his face.

"Peter!" Oliver called Peter out.

But Peter didn't hear him.

The rage was released.

Peter had nothing left but pain and rage.

He kept punching, causing Slade to bleed and groan in pain with every punch that he made.

It took the siblings a moment to get free of their bonds when they approach and tried to pry Peter off of the man. After a few moments, Peter finally calmed down and started to cool himself.

Panting in shock and fear, he looked down at his fists and saw that they were layered with blood.

Peter saved his family.

But at what cost?
