Bonus Chapter: Enter, The Ultimate Despair
Y'know, we've had a chapter like this that showcased what Edward has been up to since he left the game, but now it's time to see what Gjira has been busy with. And we're about to see a new fighting force he's got besides his top 3 commanders and the Ultimate 7 beneath them.
As usual we'll answer reviews that actually correspond to something with that last chapter.
1602jaw: Truth be told, everyone should be used to being in dangerous situations like this. Iida stuck to his guns, and I don't see him veering from that.
Knight: Just couldn't resist the time to make that reference.
TheHiddenAuthor5000: I'm honestly shocked Sora got in. I'm happy about it, and my condolences to those who didn't get their favorite character in Smash. I don't think Ed will kill his friends, even if hes turned into a revenge obsessed blood knight.
NondescriptNorbert: You're right. Deadpool didn't have much of a plot, but he does what he does well. As soon as some plots resolve, it seems like more sprout up.
That guy: Deadpool's work is done for now. And we got a nice DOOM reference to boot.
ThelastCyberKnight: Glad Susie and Iida were highlights for you. DP didn't really have a storyline this season, but I know he's got lots of fans, so it was hard to eliminate him.
Thenewsubwayguy: I just went full ham on that last chapter. I think I portrayed the world of GTA perfectly.
Guest: Nice guesses, but I'm not gonna say whether any are right or wrong.
EndeavorT: I'm gonna have lots of references and callbacks to some of the best moments of Family Guy.
Guest: If there's ever a TDI3, don't expect new characters. Picture something like All Stars. And that's IF I will be able to make it.
Happiness studios: Your criticisms have been heard. Theo will surely have stiff to do, and it's probably best to not think about when this takes place in Meta Runner. I'll make sure to do my best with the Family Guy world.
SteelRobot: Thanks. Im sure you won't be disappointed.
Guest: I don't tbink they'd be enough to help Ed at this point.

The scene opens up on Gjira's airship, the Destroyah. At the moment, the ship was landed on a red and barren rocky plain. As usual, our galactic tyrant was sitting on his throne drinking himself into a sad, drunken stupor.
"My invincibility is such a *hic* pain." He slurred.
During this, Zandrill walked into the room, accompanied by Gjira's top commander, "King" Ghido.
King takes a knee. "Master, I hope you are well."
Gjira's face contorted with irritation. "You better have a damn good reason for bothering me." He growled.
"Ahem. Yes." Zandrill. "At the moment, we still have no idea of Elric's whereabouts."
"What else is new?! I thought I said don't bother me unless you have something important to report!"
"I was just getting to that." Zandrill continues. "You see, Ms. Monaca of the Ultimate 7 has brought you some extra manpower as a gift."
Gjira raised an eyebrow with interest. This news sobered him up just a little bit.
"What kind of manpower?"
"They're Elric's friends. Of course, not exactly them. She said they were pulled from another timeline. One where they were brainwashed into becoming something she called the "Ultimate Despair.""
"Ultimate Despair, huh?" Gjira questions.
"Yes." King answers. "In fact, they are on their way now, and have requested your presence."
As much as he was interested, Gjira was a little skeptical. "I don't know. How do I know that lite brat has actually provided me with strong forces? And if they're supposed to be versions of Elric's friends, how can I trust them?"
Zandrill smiles as he takes out a remote. "Allow me to show you."
He pressed a button, and a large TV screen came down from above. Gjira is given footage of these Ultimate Despair in action. In these, Gjira vaguely remembers Edward's friends.
Each clip had one thing in common.
Destruction.
Pure, wanton destruction, and the spread of disaster.
We see a figure that looks much like Giovanni, only this one wore a black suit and jacket, dictator hat, an eye patch with an X on it, and a scepter he used as a cane. At his side's were Kiryu, who now wore a white blazer, and had red lightning sparking at his eyes. Then there was Deadpool, but his usual red spandex suit was now half black and half white. And there was Spinel, who looked mostly the same. But they all had red, swirly eyes, and evil, sinister grins.
Giovanni and his crew faced a military army, complete with attack helicopters and tanks. With a snap of his fingers, Kiryu, Deadpool, and Spinel rushed in, slicing and punching through this army like toys. The weapons shot at them didn't do jack shit, and these three manhandled the entire army.
Then we see a version of Wendy. This one had pale skin, and a long scar across her face. She wore a black straitjacket, and a giant living snake coiled around her body. She stood atop a wyvern as a whole group of them set fire to the city below them, killing millions.
Down in Hell, we see Charlie, in a white ball gown with splattered blood on it. Her face looked like her true demon form, with the horns, sharp teeth, and hellfire. She stood atop a balcony, and brainwashed the denizens of Hell to kill themselves and each other. She laughs as she watches her subjects slaughter each other.
Out on the high seas, we see Katakuri. But this Katakuri had longer and more wild hair. He wore a black cape, and a gold hook hand. The freakiest part was that he had a second mouth on his stomach. It was filled with rows of sharp teeth and a long serpent like tongue. He was laughing himself crazy as the sea and islands around him were set ablaze.
We then see Tari, wearing a black catsuit and black goggles, running from the authorities, who opened fire on her. As she ran, she threw a whole box of grenades at her enemies behind her, making a small mushroom cloud.
Walking away from a fighting tournament was Terry. His hair was now shorter, but more wild and spiked. He wore his usual clothes, but they were all black, and he didn't have his trademark hat. With him, he wore brass knuckles with spikes on them.
With him was Aqua, dressed in a white and blue dress, like a kimono, and blue boots. (Not to mention she was exposing quite a bit of cleavage and leg). Her hair was now fashioned in a sharp ponytail. The two smile as they leave the arena, with the fighters and audience beaten to a bloody pulp.
Lastly, we see a city being ravaged by giant robots. We see Miu, now dressed in a pink jumpsuit, green apron, and welding mask. She sat on a chair moving on mechanical spider legs.
At her side was her faithful robot servant, Reg. He was now rebuilt by Miu, and looked quite different. He was now more to her height, with a black metal body, and a guard over his mouth. Reg flew around and shot out blasts from all of the weapons installed on him, appearing as a nightmarish mix of Astro Boy and War Machine.
The footage ended, the TV rose back up. Gjira was now seen smiling.
"That little shit seems to know what I want!" He exclaimed. "They're perfect! If anyone can stop Elric, it's them. What better than his closest friends?!"
Zandrill's ears perk, as he hears some noise outside. "It appears they're already here."
"Excellent. Ghido, leave, and go find your brother and sister. It's time for us big boys to have a little chat."
King nods, and leaves the room. A moment later, the Ultimate Despair literally breaks down the door.
"So...you're That unkillable Gjira we've heard of?" Despair Giovanni asked, twirling his cane as he struts to the tyrant.
"It must be." Despair Deadpool said. "I can feel the despair oozing off him."
Despair Giovanni whacks him on the head with his cane. "Shut your goddamn mouth! I will not hesitate to hurt and berate minions like you for talking out of turn!"
"Yes, that's me!" Gjira roared, laughing at the suffering before him. "It's a pleasure to have you onboard."
Despair Katakuri steps forward. "Just know our wills are at your command, as Ms. Monaca told us, should they be despair related. I'm willing to do anything. Fuck, I killed and devoured my whole family, toppled the government, and rule my world as Pirate King with an iron fist."
"Impressive….." Gjira mused.
"Again with that story, you faggot ass retard?!" Despair Miu said. "God, sometimes I wish you'd shut both of those mouths up!"
"Don't press your luck, hussy!"
Despair Reg aimed an arm cannon at the pirate. "Don't lay a finger on my master!"
Gjira slammed his kanabo club at the ground, silencing them all. They all then felt Gjira's intimidating willpower, in the form of black lightning crackling around him. The only one who wasn't fazed was Zandrill.
"You all bicker like my children! It's annoying! Though they do it to be my favorite. If it weren't for the fact you've all committed atrocities so bad that giving you the death penalty wouldn't be enough, I'd want nothing to do with you!" Keep the idle arguing to a minimum!"
The Ultimate Despairs nod and kneel before Gjira.
"Yes, master Gjira."
"Good. Now, I think it's about time I tell you what it is I want you to do now. We've got a little bastard named Edward Elric, who's ruining my plans to summon the Scarlet King…."
(Elsewhere…)
Count Suffer's ship had landed, and Ed and crew had a camp set up.
"Impressive, boy." Suffer exclaimed as he looked at a map. "How ever did you manage to get a map of the SCP Foundation?"
"One of Gjira's fodder troops had it on them." Edward answers. "There were no survivors."
"I see…" Count Suffer continued to look at the map. "Looking at this, it'll be a couple more weeks before we get there. But once we get there, I've already got a plan for us to get in unscathed."
"Which is?" Perona asked skeptically.
The mercenary points to something on the map. "We rush through here. There's bound to be guards, but I'm sure our combined skills will overwhelm them."
"How tough are these guards?" Bon Clay questions.
"Hear they're pretty tough, swan boy." Venom replies. "If they can handle unnatural anomalies, they're sure to be armed to the teeth."
"So what the hell are we supposed to do against them?
"We kill them all." Edward said darkly as he stared into the campfire. "Sever their limbs, and crush their wicked skulls."
"Please stop saying scary stuff like that, you violent boar!" Perona exclaimed.
"Leave the guy be!" Bon Clay snapped. "He's honestly looking like he's been through so much."
"Gotta agree with swan boy on that one." Venom chuckles.
"Shut up." Edward growled. "We will slaughter the lot of them, and leave the foundation in a state of ruin that will make terrorist attacks look cute by comparison."
"...We can discuss more of our game plan in the morning." Count Suffer said awkwardly as he put the map away. "For now, I suggest we get some rest."
They begin to put out the fire, and turn in for the night. As Edward laid there, it was just him and his thoughts.
"Gjira…...I've given up everything to take you down. I can hear them. The voices of those you've slain. They tell me to kill you. I will take that head from your shoulders….AND HANG IT FROM THE GATES OF HELL!"

Well, this is an interesting development. Figured I'd keep this one short, sweet, and to the point.
First thing to talk about, HOLY CRAP! There's now Ultimate Despair versions of our favorite characters serving Gjira. Figured I'd hype them up here, as it's going to be fun to see this group raise some hell for our heroes in the future.. I'll admit I took some inspiration from the original Ultimate Despairs, but I got really creative with some of their designs. I would honestly kill to see fanart of this group.
(No seriously. I'd die happy if I could see fanart of a group of Ultimate Despairs like this.)
Also thought it'd be best to show Ed and the party making plans for when they inevitably raid the SCP Foundation. Ed's really reminding me of someone, but I can't quite put my finger on it at the moment. Is he really too far gone, or will this trauma and revenge completely consume him?
Anyway, I hope you liked this little bonus chapter. Just wanted to hype up the bad guys a little bit more. Just a heads up that we're now two episodes away from hitting the merge. Hope you're excited for that.
