MemeKing's Very Special Holiday Special

Regardless of what happens in these weird times we live in, I hope that reading this today will bring a smile to your face.

I'd like to dedicate this episode to the millions of people around the world who're recovering from tragedies such as Covid, those who lost loved ones to said virus, or to riots, or political unrest, war, and to those who are unable to see their loved ones for the holidays for one reason or another. May I hopefully make your day a little better with holiday spirit.

As usual, let's respond to reviews.

TheMasterKat: The big prank for DIO is coming soon. Not here today, but a lot sooner than you think. And don't worry about Waluigi. He'll bounce back quickly.

1602jaw: At the end of the day, we don't get to pick who's in Smash. Doesn't make it any harder. The Family Guy portions here could have been utilized a little better, but it was difficult for me at times. I had writer's block from it that played in part to why this took longer. You're in for a real treat today.

eo5494: Thank you. I hope to deliver that today.

NondescriptNorbert: Boy, this is worse than that time I responded to reviews. I guess the character driven aspect overpowered the story driven aspect last time. And I'm happy to know you think that isn't always a bad thing.

ThelastCyberKnight: You pretty much summed up everything I tried to convey in the last chapter nicely. I don't think anyone should fight All Might unless they get ripped.

Thenewsubwayguy: Thank you. Even if I couldn't provide enough in one aspect, I'm glad I could in other areas.

SteelRobot: Thanks. Happy holidays to you as well.

Guest: Thanks

That guy: Waluigi is now probably feeling better than he has in a long time.

Happiness studios: Yeah, I figured you'd react this way. Truth be told, it did feel like filler, and I felt like it could have been improved on. I struggled on this one, and I know full well I can't please everyone. Things will get better, as the chapters ahead are going to be big. Ones like that, and this Christmas story are buffers for the real part of this story to begin.

And now, I hope you enjoy the show.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

It was now a few weeks before Christmas, yet nobody was really feeling in a holiday mood. The game itself was on most of the competitors' minds, so no one had the time to think about things like the oncoming holidays.

That is, until Chris called the remaining 13 competitors for an important announcement. And early in the morning for that matter.

"Alright, you ass." Susie said, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. "What's the challenge this time?"

"It's no challenge." Chris assured. "But it is something important."

"Which is?" Kiryu questions.

"The network called and had this idea they wanted us to implement: a televised Christmas party!"

"Shoot, it's almost Christmas already?!" Terry exclaimed. "Man, has the time gone by."

"A party, huh?" Iida said. "That sounds like fun. A great way to boost morale."

"It would." Chris said. "And think of the ratings it'd bring in. People love holiday specials."

"Oh, that makes more sense." Harley said bitterly. "You just want to have an excuse to have more people tune into the show."

"Hey, you guys are getting a break from the show to enjoy this. Not to mention this party will have food, music, gifts, and some added fun with the cast of that other show."

"What other show?" Tari asked.

"The spinoff they came out with due to this show's success." Chris said bluntly. "The one they got Don, of all people, to host. As if it was bad enough that the Ridonculous Race stole some of my thunder."

The host grumbles something, until Joe helps him regain his train of thought.

"Uh, you were talking about a party?"

"Oh. Right. Ahem. But yes, the competitors from that show will join the fun as well. First things first, we need to get the party ready before they arrive. And by "we" I mean all of you."

"That sounds about right." Miu groaned.

"So where's the party being held?" Waluigi asked. "Here? Because this place is hardly "party" material."

"We've got the place already chosen. And there's already some familiar faces there waiting for us."

(An hour later….)

The plane lands a familiar looming island. Yessir, the same island where some of these guys competed last season. Although now, the island, now very snowy. The plane lands on the beach, and the cast disembark one by one. (Unlike Antarctica, these guys finally had winter coats this time around.)

"Been too long since I've last set eyes on this place." Joe said, the nostalgia hitting pretty hard.

"Kinda hoped I wouldn't have to see this place again, but to each their own, I guess." Susie quipped.

"Can't be helped." Kiryu said. "This better be some party.

"Hey! Glad you guys could make it!"

Quickly, they turn around, and come face to face with the show tune loving demon Charlie, along with the others who competed this season, as well as the others from last season. Nearly all of them were dressed in Christmas getup, like Santa outfits, ugly Christmas sweaters, the whole nine yards.

"Oh. You guys are already here, huh?" Rick said. "Please tell me I don't have to wear that shitty capitalist holiday getup."

"Ah, Rick. Same as always." Deadpool jokes. "But hey, it's a party. Do whatever you want. Even kill a man if you want."

"Can we leave out that last part?" Elena said nervously.

"How about no?" DIO said maliciously.

"How about I stomp your kneecaps backwards?" Mae threatened DIO.

"Test my temper, cat, and I'll make sure you end up as jaguar food again."

"You guys…" Chris reminded them. "We got a party to get ready for."

"Um, right." Katakuri said. "Luckily, we got a lot of the setup done before you guys arrived. That means we only need a few more things finished, so consider yourselves lucky most of the work is done."

Giovanni pumps his fist in the air. "Sweet! The minions have taken care of most of the work! You guys rock!"

"...Thanks?" Nicole said, bewildered.

"Well, I'll leave you guys to that." Chris said as he proceeded to head back inside the plane. "Have a fun party. And don't forget, it's all being televised."

"Now that that's all settled, let's all head back to the mess hall." Spinel said. "That's where the real fun is being set up!"

(Later…..)

Now, the cast (and interns) were at the mess hall, now decorated with a huge Christmas tree, an exorbitant amount of presents underneath the tree, a whole buffet of turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, cake, pie, and more, were laid out on the tables. Mugs of hot chocolate were provided for these guys as well. A warm fireplace crackles nearby, filling the room with comforting warmth.

"This all looks pretty well done." Kiryu said as he sat down and took out a cigarette. "You guys really outdid yourselves."

"Thank Charlie." Wendy said. "She was the one in charge of party planning, so I knew she could do a good job."

"Aw, shucks." Charlie said sheepishly. "You're laying it on a little thick there. I was just doing my job, is all."

"Nonsense." Deadpool told her. "No need to be humble about it. You're top notch when it comes to organization, so feel proud of yourself."

"We just need a few more decorations put up." Edgeworth said, as he set down a box of lights and little trinkets to be hung up on the tree."

"Well, let's get right to it before the others arrive." Tari said. The gamer grabs the box and heads over to the tree, but sees Terry, Harley, Reg, Aqua, and Miu occupied with something. Upon further inspection, Tari sees Miu trying to hang up these weird, flickering Christmas lights over the fireplace.

"You guys are already getting to it, huh?" Tari said.

"Nah." Harley replied. "Miu just wanted to show us these "special" lights she brought us. To be honest, I'm not that impressed."

"I gotta agree." Terry said. "Miu, what's so special about your lights?"

"Eh?" Miu looked, seeming like she forgot they were there. "Oh, this is my gift for the loneliest bastards that show up at this party."

"But we're not lonely." Aqua said as she wrapped her arm around Terry's, which made the brawler blush.

"Y-yeah." Terry said, trying to keep cool. "It's finally nice to see each other again after so long."

"Shut the hell up when I'm tryin' to explain shit to you!" Miu snapped. "Anyway, these lights are a little special! If you stare at 'em long enough while they're flickerin', you'll start feeling really good... and then… kersploosh!"

It took a moment for it to register in their heads, but as soon as they knew what Miu meant by "kersploosh", the reaction was priceless. Tari and Aqua blushed wildly, Terry's jaw dropped, Reg held his head down to hide his blush, and Harley facepalmed.

"The fuck is wrong with you?!" Harley exclaimed. "You are not hanging those up!"

"What seems to be the problem?!" Iida said, rushing up to them.

"Little miss techno perv here is trying to hang up these lights that give people orgasms!" Aqua said accusingly.

Iida crossed his arms. "Unacceptable! There are children here, and lights such as those are inappropriate for a party setting! Take them down immediately!"

"Aw, come on." Miu complained. "You know what? I'll do it if you bow down before my genius."

Iida wasn't going to do any of that, so using his speed, he grabs the lights off the fireplace, runs outside and tosses the lights into the ocean, and runs back to where he was before without missing a beat.

"A hero like myself will not give in to blackmail or ultimatums."

"Thanks for spoilin' the fun." Miu groaned. "That really fucks with me! If you're gonna fuck me in front of everyone, at least buy me dinner first!"

"W-what?!" Iida exclaimed.

"And on that note, we're going …...somewhere else." Terry said awkwardly as he and Aqua tried to take themselves out of the situation.

"Oh sure. Leave, so the two of you can go fuck like rabbits in private."

"Well, it looks like someone hasn't changed." A snarky voice said.

Miu turns around and sees Mae and Max.

"Not like that's always a bad thing." Mae adds. "I'm fine with being a bit of an ass myself."

"Glad to see you two are fine." Iida said. "And I'm shocked that you two are getting along so well….considering….."

"Eh, we worked out our differences." Max said nonchalantly. "We both kinda did some shitty stuff to each other."

"But we're even now." Mae finished. "So don't go thinking we've gone soft just because we're friends now."

"I don't think that at all. I'm honestly happy to see you both have worked things out."

Meanwhile, we cut to see other interactions and conversations.

"So how's life been treating you since you left the game?" Joe asked Spinel.

"Oh, just fun." Spinel said. "Not too long ago, Deadpool and I gathered a couple other friends to join us for a night on the town."

"And how did that go?"

Spinel reminiscences on that fun night they had a couple weeks ago.

Flashback…

We see Deadpool, Spinel, Edgeworth, and Aqua standing in front of a dance club that's currently on fire. While fire trucks were putting out the flames, Deadpool and Spinel looked on it proudly, while Edgeworth looked shocked, and Aqua was curled into a ball, rocking back and forth after getting traumatized by the night's events.

"Hell ya!" Deadpool said. "Best… friend's night…. ever!"

End of Flashback

"Just the usual." She answered.

"Hey, guys!" Popo called. "I see a weird ship outside!"

"Ooh, it's those other guys from that other show!" Nana adds.

"Alright, guys!" Charlie announced. "Everything is ready and the rest of the guests are here! Let's all have fun!"

The whole crew cheers as suddenly, the door is kicked down. Not slammed open, but literally kicked down right off its hinges. The cast go silent as Yami is the one that walks through the now open door.

"Oi, I didn't miss the party or anything, did I?" Yami asked.

"Way to make an entrance." Toko mumbled. Suddenly, she felt a hand grasp around her head and lift her off the ground. Toko shudders as Yami glares at her, the dark aura pouring off him.

"You got something to say to me?!" Yami growled, his grip getting slightly tighter. "Because if you do, you'd better say it directly to my face next time."

"No, you're just on time." Charlie tells him. "Glad you guys could make it as well. And, uh, you could let go of Toko now."

Yami shrugs and lets go of Toko. As he does this, the rest of the cast of Bon Voyage, and the interns from that show, walk into the building.

"Graah! Why did that take so long?!" Barry exclaimed. "I was worried we were gonna be late and miss out on the fun!"

"Slow your roll, kid." Scott tells him. "It's fine. You're gonna give yourself an ulcer if you worry the way you do."

"Hahahaha! Let the kid be!" Lobo said socially. "It's a party. You should feel free to go nuts. Let the fun begin!"

"Here. Let us take your coats." Ginyu offered as his men took the guests' coats.

"Glad to be here, I guess." Futaba said, sticking to a corner to be away from a crowd. "Big gatherings aren't really my thing."

"M-me neither." Bernadetta said as she nervously, trying her best to not be seen. She didn't want to go to this party, much preferring to be back in her room on the ship. She slowly tried to walk out of there until she accidentally bumped into someone.

"Hey!" DIO snapped. He turned around and glared down at Bernadetta, the vampire towering over her. (Despite being a young woman, she's pretty tiny.) "Watch where you're going! Unless you want me to hurt you!"

That was it for her. Bernadetta ran screaming, leaving a Bernie shaped hole in the wall as she ran. That is, until she came bursting through the wall at the other side of the room, having run around the entire island in less than a minute.

"How did you catch up to me?!" She cried.

"Sheesh." Yami muttered. "And I thought Charlotte could run fast."

"We brought some food too, just in case." Kronk said, setting down a couple Tupperware bowls with food made by him with the rest of the banquet.

"You're far too kind." Meggy said. "It smells good, too."

"Oh!" Pit said, running up to his fellow friends from Smash, Isabelle, Ice Climbers, Terry, and Sora. "Glad to see you guys here, too."

"Been far too long, hasn't it?" Sora asked.

Pit nods. "Hope the next time we see each other, you and I can have a rematch."

"Oh, that's right." Isabelle said. "You two had a Death Battle."

"And I won." Sora said proudly.

"But I've gotten stronger since then!" Pit said just as proudly.

"Do my eyes deceive me?!" Ryu said as he fixed his hair with a comb. He was getting a look at some of the women here. "Plenty of beautiful women here at this shindig. Guess I better hit the dance floor."

"Not to mention some nice hunks of beefcake here." Panty said as she ogled some of the men.

"Can somebody fix the door and the wall?!" Cinder complained. "It's letting the cold air in!"

"Men, let's take care of that quickly!" Ginyu ordered as the interns tried to fix what Yami and Bernadetta broke. The interns from Bon Voyage even pitched in as well.

"What's with the uniforms?" Tsukishima jokes. "You guys Power Rangers or something?"

"I think they look cool." Molly told them.

"No dude, you're doing it wrong." Mordecai said. "Don't just stick it on there like an idiot. Get it back on its hinges."

"Dude, I know what I'm doing." Rigby tells him. "You're the one that's doing it wrong."

"Poyo poyo!" Kirbo said.

(While these guys are busy, let's get back to the party, shall we?)

Now that the festivities could commence, Charlie got up on a stage, with Russel, Mae, and Scott, their instruments in tow. They all begin to play Christmas songs, with Charlie as the vocalist.

"That woman's got the best singing voice around." Katakuri said as he was stuffing his face with sweets.

"They could all make a great band if they really wanted to." Erza said as she took a bite of strawberry cake.

"Maybe they should." Wendy adds. "They could be the new Drama Brothers."

"True. But they'd need to come up with a better name." Kermit says. "Heck, I could join the band with my banjo and they'd make a killing."

"Hey hey, party people!" Rick and Bender slurred, the both of them already drunk.

"Rick, do you really think it's appropriate to be inebriated?" Carla asked.

"Shut up." Rick slurred. "You're starting to sound like that uptight Iida. Oop, hold on…."

Rick throws up on the table and passes out on top of it, while Bender laughs at this. "Haha. Stupid meatbag."

Katakuri gets up and walks away. "Annnnnnnnd I'm no longer hungry." The pirate walks over to another table and sits next to Tari, with Wendy following him.

They notice Tari sitting there, not feeling like doing much.

"You alright, Tari?" Wendy asked. Tari finally reacts, as she kind of zoned out there.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine."

"You can't fool me." Katakuri tells her. "I know you're a bit bummed that Edward isn't here. I'm sure he has his….reasons….for having to leave and break up with you."

(Katakuri knew why Edward left, but it was such a shaky subject that he didn't want to bother her with it. Especially during the holidays.)

"The point is, this is a time where you should be enjoying yourself. You said it yourself. You should care more about what you still have, rather than what you lost. You've got good friends here, who all just want to have fun."

"You've still got us." Wendy said. "And we're here to party with you."

"That's right, Bluejay." Giovanni says as he walks over and puts a hand on her shoulder. "What do you say we go out there and hit the dance floor? Y'know, as boss and minion?"

Tari cracks a smile. "Sure. Thanks for the support, guys. Merry Christmas, you guys."

The partying continues until Deadpool runs up onstage, and the music abruptly is cut.

"I have an announcement to make!" Deadpool yelled.

"Ugh, make it quick, dumbass." DIO snarled.

Deadpool quickly takes out a gun and shoots DIO to shut him up.

"AGH! GODDAMMIT! MY KNEECAP!"

"Thank you." Deadpool said calmly as he took out a piece of paper. "First of all, let me say-"

Then, an old timey ghost appears right beside the merc.

"Oooooh, I am the Ghost of Christmas Past, and I-"

The ghost cries out in agony as Deadpool takes out a cross and dispels the ghost.

"No! We are not telling that story here! Can I get on with my speech, please?! Alright, then."

"First of all, let me say how great it is for MemeKing to gather so many of us into one chapter. Truly a remarkable thing. Though he's nowhere near the amount of people as thenewsubwayguy's stories. Seriously, how does he do it? I'd like to give a shoutout to my other favorite authors: 1602jaw, NondescriptNorbert, and TheMasterKat, who my counterpart is hopelessly in love with. Those guys deserve as much love. "

"Is this a comedy skit or something?" Shermie wonders. "What is he babbling about?"

Deadpool continues. "Getting back on topic, it's so nice to have the time to just gather together, and have fun as we party for all the wrong reasons. It is Christmas after all. But we are embodying the spirit of togetherness with those we love and care for. I personally couldn't ask for more. Well, maybe gold plated underwear, but that's besides the point. We've had a great year, through the ups and downs, and I know the next one is going to be better and bigger. MemeKing is gearing up for a big year for us. I'm happy I get to enjoy this special holiday with you guys, and the new year that's upon us. Can I get a "Oh yeah?!""

"YEAH!" The whole room cheers.

(Meanwhile…..)

We now transition to Count Suffer's ship. While the crew was resting up before they reached the SCP Foundation, Edward was busy looking at a weird device. It was a mini holographic projector that worked very much like a TV.

He was watching this Christmas special with all of his friends there, and he couldn't help but crack a smile. The first genuine smile in months.

"Ah, watching something fun, young man?" Count Suffer asks.

"Yeah." Ed answered somberly. "Just watching some old friends."

"I can see that. You've been a lot less violent and snappy since you started watching that. Guess they mean that much to you."

"Yeah….too bad I'm prepared to never see them again. As long as they're okay, I'm not afraid of death. Merry Christmas, you guys."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

"Hey, guys!" Korone said in broken English as she took out a camera. "Let's take picture with everyone!"

The whole group gets together as Korone sets the timer on the camera. Once she does that, she rushes to the group and joins the picture.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!"

Snap!

Truly, a joyous occasion. Though it was chaotic and crazy, this author wouldn't have it any other way.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

And there you have it. I hope you guys enjoyed it. 2020 was a crazy year, and 2021 was no exception. I'm hoping 2022 will be a good year for all of us. Figured I'd at least give my gift to you all for sticking around and letting me know how much you love what I make. I went into this hoping to make at least one person's day. Whether you're going through good times or bad times, just know that it always gets better. Thank you all, and whether you're celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, etc, I wish you happy holidays. If there's no update or new chapter out by the end of this month, I'll see you all in 2022. Until next time, this is MemeKing, signing off.
