Surprise! TDI3 Roster Revealed
Hey-o. Bet you weren't expecting this, huh? I'll admit, i've been busy working on the next Bon Voyage chapter, but it's been taking longer than expected. I've been distracted, busy with my real job, and having a little writer's block. But once I have that finished, (as I am trying to not rush it), future chapters of these will be much easier.
But I know that's not quite why you're reading this. You did read the title right. Just earlier, I got the roster of new characters that will show up in Infinite 3 finalized (after talking and deliberating with some close people.)
I know I said I'd reveal this at the finale, but the influx of suggestions was so high this time that we now got everyone and everything we need a lot quicker than expected. I'll simply reveal who will return after the finale instead. I'll admit, I'm very thankful to all of you who suggested, whether they were accepted or not. But please, don't antagonize me if I didn't choose one of yours (I had a guy do that to me a long time ago, and I don't want a repeat.
Without further ado, here's the new characters you'll see next season.
1. Entrapta (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power) suggested by thenewsubwayguy
Another gadgeteer like Miu, only without the vulgar nature, and more…...chaotic curiosity and prehensile hair. Maybe she'll be friends with Miu…..or probably accidentally almost get someone killed with her contraptions. Maybe both. She may not be the best at socializing, but she makes up for that.
2. Zeke von Genbu (Xenoblade Chronicles) suggested by micahmo21
Some call him Bringer of Chaos. Others call him Zeke, but he's often addressed as the Zekenator. This JoJo posing Driver and his Blade are ready to seek adventure and riches on this show. He may have bad luck on par with Aqua, but he's pretty knowledgeable and reliable. Just don't be next to him on a cliff.
3. Ruby Gloom (Ruby Gloom) suggested by NondescriptNorbert
Despite her name, she's probably one of the nicest people around. If you're feeling down, she'll help you see the bright side of the dark side. Sure, the money would be nice, but making new friends is why she's here.
4. Seto Kaiba (Yu-Gi-Oh) suggested by DarkSymphony777
Rich? Check. An arrogant asshole? Check. Best duelist around? Check, as long as Yugi ain't around. Having paid his way to join rather than applying like everyone else, he's surely got a head start over others. But can money and an ego alone help him win? And why join when you're already stinking rich?
5. Peacock (Skullgirls) suggested by Guest
Well, this crazy one's always getting suggested to me. But now, it's time for this cartoonish boss to lay total anarchy to our show. Has Deadpool finally met his match?
6. Chuck, the Evil Sandwich Making Guy (WordGirl) suggested by micahmo21
Huh. If I had a quarter for every time I've had someone on here who was a supervillain, but was really a nice guy, had powers themed around a kind of food, and still lived with their mother, I'd have two quarters, which isn't a lot but weird that it happened twice. (Looking at you, Giovanni) I rest my case.
7. Chie Satonaka (Persona 4) suggested by Confident Square 2258
This gal is ready to hit the big time, and hopefully meet and be trained by the best fighters and martial artists this show has to offer. Sure she knows what ahes seen from martial Arts movies, but she's got more up her sleeve (and boots, which she'll shove up your ass if you upset her.)
8. Mao (Disgaea) suggested by NeverSafeFromWaluigi
This guy is the top Honor Student of Evil Academy. He hates heroes, but won't hesitate to learn about them so he can overthrow his father and be a better Overload than him. He's a chaotic little bastard, and learned the show is a cesspool of both good and evil. It'll be perfect for his research.
9. Luz Noceda (The Owl House) suggested by kathmanw19
A witch in training who's never really fit in with other humans. But she's about to prove herself in a show where almost everybody is some endearing weirdo just like her. Maybe she'll like these guys just as much as her friends on the Boiling Isles.
10. Oscar Proud (The Proud Family) suggested by G-man
The guy can't catch a break. His wife is the breadwinner, his mom gives him tons of grief, he runs a company that makes god awful snacks, and is an overprotective and bumbling dad that only wants what's best for his family. Maybe this show will turn his luck around, and prove he's no loser.
And there you have it. These fine folks will debut next season. Quite a unique group, which I feel is perfect. The trick this time was having more of a balance of characters from different mediums. To those who got their character in, congratulations. Now, I'll show the other ones who almost made the cut, but are honorable mentions. The decision was tough, but I'll try and see if I can make these characters show up in some fashion in my stories. I loved these so much as well, so they should get some credit as well.
