Few years and shitty leads later. Blackwing met the one cat that would change his life for the better.
Blackwing was walking through the forest, it was one of those times when his routine finished faster then normal so he went on a walk through the forest, when suddenly, a ThunderClan warrior pounced on him from behind.
Stunned, he looked up. And saw a beautiful half-blind white cat with a brown nose, paws and ears. "What are you doing here you murderous bastard?" The white feline asked in the most angry tone you could ever imagine, Blackwing looked through the slick feline's aura and answered "I'm not doing anything that concerns your clan."
The white cat wasn't convinced that Blackwing has no business to do here. "Tell me the truth you bellend!" She yowled at Blackwing. Blackwing wasn't up for this, so he knocked the cat off and using his color shifting he changed his pelt to camouflage with the ground and snuck away, leaving a confused cat behind.
Later Blackwing was down at the river catching, measuring and then returning fish to the river for sport. He had just thrown a fish in the river when he could tell that the feline had returned, he looked to confirm it, and turned back, "You know, it's not a good idea to jump a cat you know could kill you right?" Blackwing told the cat, "Come here and sit. We can have a chat, no strings attached."
The white feline was confused of course, but walked up and sat down next to him, and Blackwing had just realized how much he towers over the other cats. "Sorry if I've intimidated you with my size, you could say I'm a gentle giant these days." Blackwing said looking at the cat's gorgeous brown eye, "What's your name, brave warrior?"
The white feline spoke with a more calm voice, "B-Bunnystep. What's your's?" Blackwing was caught off guard, "You never heard my name? Well it's Blackwing. And I gotta say, Bunnystep is the cutest name I've ever heard." Blackwing meowed looking back to the river, Bunnystep was a little flustered, "Thank you, I guess?" Bunnystep mewed in confusion, "So, how'd you get your wings?" Bunnystep asked. "I, rather not tell. It's a pretty bloody story." Blackwing answered. "I guess we both have that in common." Bunnystep commented. "You have a bloody story you don't like telling too?" Blackwing asked, Bunnystep nodded. "Huh, Interesting." Blackwing meowed. "Well if you're not a fan of telling that story, how about the reason you said you're a gentle giant?" Bunnystep asked, "Did you just give up or?"
"I stopped taking assassinations 9 years ago for the reason that cats didn't need an assassin these days. Usually I got one request a day, but the last time I got one was 10 years ago. So I dropped the assassin work to relax instead. I felt like I was wasting time by sitting there and waiting for the hope that someone came to request an assassination." Blackwing explained. "Wow," Bunnystep meowed, "That was a lot more simple then I thought it was." Blackwing wasn't surprised about that, he noticed that it was getting dark. "You might want to head back to your camp, it's getting dark." Blackwing recommended.
Bunnystep walked away to her camp, and Blackwing went to his treehouse.
