"Why did they leave Kobol?" asked Kim
"Pretty much the same story, the other twelve tribes rejected them because they were created from Cylon robots," said Mai
"Like Alpha?" asked Bonnie
"No! they were the primitive creation of the first humans. I evolved from them," said Alpha, who was very annoyed.
"Touchy," said Bonnie
Another Beginning
Chapter 6
"Their creators developed first mechanical creations and improved them into humans, then rejected their creations and sent them away. After they had arrived on their Earth, they started to build their society. I read from their computers that the thirteenth tribe was both human and Robot from Cylons, who started to mistreat their centurions as enslaved people as the others on Kobol did. Then as always, the robot part rebelled, and a devastating war destroyed their planet. Only these five of the thirteenth tribe had survived this holocaust. So these five decide to return to Kobol to warn the other tribes, but found it deserted as well," said Mai
"I hope we don't go down that road. I am very fond of Alpha and his brothers," said Tara
"After today, we are all Cylons now and part of this Cylon family," said Ron
"Family! How?" said Bonnie.
"I could have easily placed your memories in a centurion or the new android class robots than your new flesh bodies," said Mai, and Bonnie looked at Mai in her typical way,
"Oh, so we are all Cylons now?" said Kim
"Yes, more so now that you have died!" said Ron, and the two girls nodded.
"So the two of you died before this time?" said Bonnie
"This is our second resurrection," said Tara
"So why did only five of them survive?" asked Kim
"After arriving at their Earth, they started reproducing sexually and abandoning, eventually forgetting how to build or use the resurrection technology until these five found it again. When their society began to mistreat their robotic Cylons, they rebelled," said Mai
"And destroyed their world," said Bonnie
"Yes, the Hub was created by the first Cylons that left Kobol," said Mai. This opened up a lot for them to think about. "Whenever the words! the past always molds your future came true, it was here,"
"Now, that's a question I forgot to ask. Will we be able to reproduce?" asked Kim
"Yes, your clone bodies have been recreated from a mixture of these people, the Ancient and the Asgard technology. I also found another dimension that helped perfect all these new bodies," said Mai
"How many people have you saved from Earth?" asked Kim
"Not as much as I hoped. Most of the memories I have are from Go-city and the tri-cities areas. Not to mention a few memories from the Stargate Command," said Mai
"What is Stargate command?" asked Bonnie
"I will tell you about them after Mai's story," said Ron
"So these Cylons helped you to save our lives?" said Bonnie
"Well, our memories anyway," said Kim.
"Yes, I copied everything within the Hub for my own needs. I even copied their new plans for their new centurion robots. After they left their Earth and reached Kobol, they found the records that the remaining twelve tribes had left Kobol for a group of twelve stars. Why it was drifting in space was because the Hub had engine failed, so I after I had finished with this Hub, I repaired it and sent it to continue on its journey to these colonies," said Mai
"Did they ever reach the other twelve tribes?" asked Bonnie
"Yes, I followed and watched them for nearly two thousand years, hoping to get new technology from the other twelve tribes. But when they arrived at these colonies, they were in the same type of war as their Earth had, repeating the same stupidity," said Mai
"So what happened to them?" asked Kim
"They made the two stop fighting and made a peace agreement, and the two went their separate ways. That was until the colonies' Cylons betrayed the thirteenth Cylons and restarted the war forty years later. This war eventually destroyed all of them. Those that survived the colonies left for a new world. Along the way, they learned the horrible truth. After five years, peace was declared, and those who were left separated. A handful of the centurions fled into space, while a handful of humans settled on our Earth," said Mai
"When did this all happen?" said Kim
"About 150 thousand years before your time, but I did copy all of the Kobolian technology and stored them in the computers just so their story won't be lost," said Mai
"What happened to the Cylon robots," asked Bonnie.
"unknown, they either found a world for themselves or were destroyed in some anomaly," said Mai
"That was amazing?" asked Kim
"Did any other dimensions stand out like this one?" asked Kim
"There were many dimensions that stand out. A number of them were similar to yours. One even helped me to enlarge this ship to what it is today. I Came across an artifact standing in the middle of a desolate Earth that involved a group of people called the Ancients. The artifact was a large metal ring with a peddle stool beside it. Both had these weird symbols on them," said Mai, and he showed them the artifact that they would find out was a Stargate.
"Why was this world so desolate?" asked Bonnie
"To answer that same question, I had to jump back a few years in time to find that out, and why was this artifact the only thing that survived? I watched the Earth being destroyed by a group of aliens who believed they were gods. They destroyed anyone that came in their way. I watched as they invaded and then destroyed this world in a hail storm of plasma fire," said Mai
"Couldn't you stop them?" asked Kim.
"I did. That Earth was lost later in their future," said Mai
"Is our dimension this earth you are talking about?" said Bonnie.
"No, but it was similar? But with no Middleton," said Mai
"So no Middleton, no us?" said Ron
"Correct. After scanning the system, I found a badly damaged craft called the Odyssey. My sensors had detected it inside the inner asteroid field. I sent my centurions to retrieve the ship's remains and placed the wreck in my construction docks. I learned from this Odyssey computer about two groups of people. One was called the Asgard. These people lived millions of years by cloning their bodies until a fault caused them to commit mass suicide. They then gave their entire knowledge to stargate command. It is this knowledge that I have in my database that also helped with your new bodies," said Mai
"With all that knowledge! they still couldn't do anything?" said Kim
"No, they arrived back to Earth too late. This dimension differed from yours, which had another enemy of the Ancients called the Ori, who destroyed most of all the Gou'ald. They were the ones who destroyed Earth after Earth refused to worship them," said Mai
"So this Odyssey return to earth in the middle of the destruction?" said Kim
"Yes, it was fate that they didn't find the Asgard database full of all that knowledge, or that dimension would have ended differently. The second people I found out from the computers were called the Ancients. I had to jump the ship back nearly ten thousand years to find a small group of these people. The people told me that they were the descendants of the creators of the ring and that one of them even told me that they had first left this galaxy millions of years ago to escape a plague that was wiping out their people," said Mai
"Did you go back and find these descendants?" said Kim
"Yes, first try. It was during my cooling down period that I watched one of their cityship, Atlantis leave for another galaxy," said Mai
"How much of a cooling down do your engines need after a time jump," asked Tara
"Two weeks, the ship power nobs had to be replaced with every jump," said Mai
"I gather you can create your new power nods then?" said Ron
"Yes, I have a construction area in the middle of this Hub. After all the Ancients left Earth, I landed to see if I could salvage anything they had left behind. I hit the jackpot with one of their large industrial cityship that they had abandoned to the elements; it was just what I needed. I sent the centurions, androids, and my microbots in the cityship to investigate every inch of it," said Mai
"Wouldn't that change the future of that dimension?" asked Bonnie
"Yes! Differently, than I expected. The cityship was one of their unnamed construction ships that needed a few repairs. With all of its creators either dead or gone, that wasn't going to happen. The construction city was going to be for their new capital in the new galaxy, but there was a fault in its engines that kept it on the ground. So I repaired the fault and placed the cityship in my construction docks. Now I had the means to build anything I wanted. My ship would become as big as the moon with all the technology of the Ancient, and Asgard were now mine," said Mai
"So it was you that changed the timeline when you removed that ship?" asked Bonnie
"Yes, after I sent one of my smaller ships to the future, it returned to inform me that Earth was still in ashes. So I left a smaller version of the cityship where Stargate Command could find it. This time I return and found the Earth untouched by the Ori and exploring the galaxy at hand," said Mai
"So what did you do then?" asked Bonnie
"Nothing, I just left for another dimension," said Mai
"Why?" asked Kim
"As I said before, no Middleton in that dimension, and I had to look for one with a Middleton," said Mai,
"Right! No Middleton, no us?" said Bonnie, and everyone agreed.
"Then I came to this dimension, but Earth was going to be destroyed in 1998 by the Gou'ald when SG1 failed to stop Apophis on their first year of operation," said Mai
"Destroying the planet before we even started high school?" said Kim
"Yes, so I interfered and gave this world some extra years?" said Mai
