Chapter 7
"As I said before, no Middleton in that dimension, so I had to look for one that had a Middleton," said Mai,
"Right! No Middleton, no us?" said Bonnie, and everyone agreed.
"Then I this dimension, but Earth was going to be destroyed in 1998 by the Gou'ald when SG1 failed to stop Apophis on their first year of operation," said Mai
"Destroying the planet before we even started high school?" said Kim
"Yes, so I interfered and gave this world some extra years?" said Mai
"How?" asked Bonnie
"The main events I changed, some of them you may remember, others you will have to read their history later, so please wait until I finished, or this is going to take a long time to get through," said Mai
"Okay," said Kim, so Mai continued.
"Firstly, this world was on a major dimensional fault line of many stories, so I had to choose which dimension it will follow after the change," said Mai
"Was world War three part of the plan?" asked Bonnie.
"No, more of a result of the change. After making that choice, I made several changes to this world's timeline. The Stargate Program began in 1996, then 1998 saw the attack of the Gou'ald mothership that belonged to Apophis and Klorel. Earth was then sent back to the stone age," said Mai
"That is where the old timeline changed?" asked Kim
"Yes, I decided to secretly contact Doctor Daniel Jackson and warn him of the attack coming as the canon timeline. I told him I was from an alternate reality and gave him a gate address to a Goa'uld stronghold. He convinced the rest of SG-1 to help him stop the threat. They emerge from the stargate on board Klorel's mothership while it was en route to destroy Earth. SG-1 found Bra'tac, and he helped them neutralize and then destroyed both Apophis and Klorel's motherships. With the discovery of the Jaffa warriors, experiments in genetically engineered secretly started on humans again. Then in 2004, when Stargate command found the address for Atlantis and sent Elizabeth to Atlantis, this was in the Pegasus Galaxy. According to cannon, everything continued as normal with a new enemy making itself known. These were called the Ori. They had destroyed Kallana in an attempt to install a Supergate in the Milky Way, but Vala Mal Doran thwarts them," said Mai
"These are the Ori you mentioned earlier, in the other dimension?" asked Bonnie
"Yes, millions of years ago, the Ori lived together with the Ancients as a single, united society in a distant galaxy called Altera," said Mai
"So they are Ancients?" said Kim
"Were, at some point in time, a split occurred between the two. The Ancients began to devote themselves to science, while the Ori became increasingly religious. This division eventually became so great that the Ori attempted to destroy the Ancients. To avoid a war, which was contradictory to their beliefs, the Ancients departed their home galaxy for the Milky Way. Even after they ascended, the Ancients and the Ori remained enemies," said Mai
"Talking about taking a grudge too far," said Kim
"First the Cylons, now these Ancients. Doesn't anyone in this universe learn? So what happened to them?" said Bonnie.
"It started at the beginning of 2006. SG-1 started on a quest to track down Merlin's weapon so they could stop the Ori but instead discovered Merlin himself. Before dying, Merlin transfers his consciousness to Daniel Jackson so that he can rebuild the weapon once more. Once completed, Your Ron and Tara both went to the Ori galaxy to activate the weapon, destroying the Ori and Ancients ascended," said Mai
"And that was the reason why I never saw Janus again?" said Ron
"Yes, it had to be done to stop them from destroying the universe," said Mai
"So all this happened during our graduation year, just when we went into the airforce?" said Kim to Ron
"At the beginning of that year, after we all finished our basic training, the airforce posted us at stargate command where the three of us helped SG1," said Ron
"We were posted to some lame out of the way airforce base?" said Bonnie
"It wasn't that bad. At least we learned how to fly jets," said Kim
"Yeah, that was fun," said Bonnie
"That was the year we saw the Asgard genetic degradation problem reach an irreparable point in this dimension. Then the Asgard installed a core of their technology and knowledge into our Odyssey and committed mass suicide, which brought their civilization to an end. I was lucky enough to ride along with Odyssey as an AI. I scored a lot of wonderful technology those few weeks," said Mai
"Couldn't you help these Asgard?" asked Kim.
"Yes, but they wouldn't be Asgard anymore, and it would have to change the timeline again. I still have their memories from their core safe," said Mai
"After that victory, we were transferred to Atlantis and fought a different kind of alien. We were involved in a preemptive strike to destroy the Asurans on Lantea and their Replicator ships under construction in 2007," said Ron
"Wait a minute, wouldn't going to the Pegasus Galaxy put you in danger of not getting resurrected?" said Kim
"I made a deal with Jack O'Neill to build him a mercury class Battlestar. If he allowed me to send one of my advance Aurora-class battleship with a resurrection hub inside for the two of them, he was like putty in my hands," said Mai
"Which I was very thankful for," said Ron
"Did you prepare those in Atlantis as well?" asked Kim
"Oh yes, I even received special permission to resurrect them if I wanted them. Which was another advantage I received when Elizabeth Weir sacrifices herself so that John Sheppard's team may succeed in stealing a Zero Point Module from Asuras to save Atlantis," said Mai
"We later received her memory in the computers of that ship and brought it all back to Earth. I then help to prepare Atlantis to move to another planet, all thanks to Mai and the chair," said Tara
"Chair?" asked Kim
"We will tell you that later. Then in 2008, I created and sent a virus that saw the Wraith wiped out, but I miscalculated, and two massive hive ships found Earth's location. I then helped Atlantis to jump straight to the Milky Way galaxy to eliminate them, then she landed in San Francisco bay," said Mai
"So what started this war?" asked Bonnie
"We believe this war started about the same time Stargate command learned about the genetically engineered Jaffa. Chinese SG teams had secretly captured several Jaffa's and started experimenting on them, finally developing their version of the super soldiers without needing a symbiote. Then they shared the idea with Russia and started using them in different parts of the world. These wars were the beginning of this dimension Eugenics Wars. After this, I believe the Chinese made another deal with the Lucian Alliance that has now begun World war 3," finished Mia.
"Shit," said Bonnie
"So where did you come into all this, Ron?" asked Kim
"Well, it all started just after our first mission with Mr. Paisley. Just before I started high school. I received a letter and a lot of money telling me to build a secret lair under my home with aircraft access," said Ron
"How did you know how to build this lair?" said Bonnie
"That was the weird thing. I didn't! But these men came and built it for me," said Ron
"Let me guess, that was your doing, Mia?" asked Kim
"Yes, I provided the help he needed to build it for him," said Mai
"
After finishing the lair, more letters came to give me these secret missions. These changed when I started high school.
The letters began to tell me about Tick-Tick-Tick and Bueno Nacho missions. It was as if somebody knew what my life had installed for me. I started to think that it was some time travel device and that I was going back and warning myself. It was all just too creepy for me most of the time. Then I received the next letter informing me about Monkey Fist and how I had to stop him. I didn't know who this Monkey Fist was until I met Lord Monty Fisk," said Ron
"That was when you told me that the idols were destroyed when they weren't," said Kim
"He had to. If Fisk knew they were still in one piece, he would have got them back and became a lot stronger and course a lot of trouble," said Mai
"It was then those green idols hit me on the second part of that mission. The letter told me to save the idols at all costs. So I kicked him in the head and knocked him out when he wasn't watching. I gathered all the idols and locked them away safe and sound in my lair and told you that the idols were destroyed during my fight with Monty," said Ron
"How did you knock him out so fast?" asked Kim
"That was my microbots. They made Ron stronger to fight more as an expirence fighter," said Mai
"Mai was in my head telling me what to do. It was freaky at first, but fun as well," said Ron.
"Without his childhood fears holding him back, your Ron has become an excellent fighter," said Mai
"That I can agree with," said Kim
"Then I started to receive more letters and had me looking for the Golden Banana and the amulet of the Monkey King, all placed in the lair and sealed. I even was told to hide that small talisman during the wrestling match between Pain King and Steel toe. The talisman was said to be a gift to Cleopatra from the high priest of Anubis," said Ron
"You stole that too!" said Kim
"Replaced it. The original was too dangerous to leave where it was," said Ron
"That I can agree," said Bonnie
