Chapter 3: Angry Spearow
Also, I'm looking for ideas for rivals for Samantha and Cody. You can make your own character and put them down in the comments.
Give me a name, appearance, Pokemon, and whoever you want them to be a rival for.
With that out of the way enjoy the chapter!
Samantha and Cody were walking back towards Viridian City. After meeting back up with each other once they were done looking for a new Pokemon to catch. Cody with a new Mankey and Samantha with a Horsea.
However, suddenly Kitsune let out a cry from Samantha's arms and looked. Samatha and Cody then both looked up to see what she was looking at and spotted a flock of Spearow's were flying after something or someone.
Admittedly Samantha and Coody looked at each other. Wondering if someone did something to annoyed them, and the Spearow decided to attack whoever angered them.
"Those are some angry Spearow," Cody commented looking at the flock of Spearow in the sky.
"Yeah wouldn't want to be the person who angered them," Samantha stated as the Spearow disappeared, but seemed to be headed towards Viridian City. Which meant that whoever angered the Spearow was probably nearby.
"Vul," Kitsune said looking up at Samantha trying to tell her something.
"What is it Kitsune?" Samantha asked looking down at the vulpix in her arms.
"I think she wants to go help whoever it was that angry the Spearow," Cody replied.
"I don't think you handle that many Spearow, but I guess we can give it a try," Samantha said.
"I say it worth a shot. The person being chased could get seriously hurt," Cody stated.
"Right let's go, " Samantha said as she and Cody headed in the direction the Spearow went in.
Samantha and Cody, we're for a little while not finding the Spearow. Until they saw a boy with black spiky hair and a red hat running from behind them with a Pikachu in his arms. They then turned and saw the flock of Spearow going after.
"Well looks like we found the culprit who angered the Spearow," Cody said.
"Yes we did," She said. "Kitsune use Swift!" Samantha commanded. Vulpix jumped down from Samatha's arms shoot golden stars at the Spearow.
"Huh, what's going on?" The boy asked looking behind him to see that the Spearow were quiet. He turned to see Samantha and Cody. Along with Vulpix shooting stars at the flock. "Who are you?" He asked.
"Doesn't matter just run. We keep them busy for long as we can," Cody said as Samatha and Vulpix continue to battle the Spearow.
"Right thanks for the assistance!" The yelled continuing to run off.
"Kitsune again use Swift!" Samantha shouted. Kitsune once again shot stars towards the flock of Spearow, but they flew up and dodged.
"What are they going to do now?" Cody asked as the flock looked at Vulpix for a bit, before taking off in the direction the boy went. "Wow, he did something to make them that mad. That they don't care about Kitsune attack."
"Agree," Sam said. "Hopefully that was enough to let him get away far enough. Kitsune return and rest," She said trying to return Vulpix but she shook her head no.
"I think Kitsune hates her Pokeball," Cody stated.
"So your one of the few Pokemon. That hate being in their Pokeball? Read about that in a book," Sam said and Kitsune nodded. "Alright, then you can rest on my shoulder."
"Let's get going," Cody said. "The flock might settle down on its own. So that boy might end up being okay."
Samantha nodded as Kitsune got comfortable on top of her right shoulder. They continue to head back towards Viridian City, as they saw the sky becoming very stormy. Thunder rumbled ominously in the distance signaling the arrival of a heavy downpour.
From a distance in front of them. You could see a huge lighting bolt strike the ground and the storm that had gathered, completely dissipated away.
"What was that, some sort of electric type Pokemon? Could of it have possibly been that Pikachu that seemed injury?" Cody wondered out loud.
"It most likely ones. I haven't seen any other electric Pokemon around here," Samantha stated. "In any case, that boy is probably okay now. Pikachu probably knocked the Spearow out."
"True," Cody said.
The two twins then continue their way back to Viridan City to get their Pokemon healed on up. Especially Samantha since her two Pokemon we're exhausted from battle and one is burned.
