House of Promise:
Nina and everyone was shocked and saddened to learn that Fabian was in a coma. By now Trudy had also arrived at the hospital and walked up to the residents.
"I'm sorry," said the doctor.
"But what are you going to do now?" Asked Nina.
"He's not responding to any external stimuli, which means he's in a very deep coma," said the doctor.
Everyone was saddened to hear this. Trudy walked over to Amber and Patricia and tried to comfort them. Nina was speechless and Joy felt guilty Then KT was brought out and Aaron walked over to her.
"KT how are you doing? Are you in any pain?" Asked Aaron.
"I'm fine, I just have a really bad headache. They say that I've to stay another day," said KT.
"What's wrong?" Asked Aaron.
"Concussion, I don't remember anything," said KT.
"You don't know anything of what happened?" Asked Aaron.
"I don't know a single thing," said KT.
"Just go to sleep, everything will be all right," said Aaron.
KT was carried into a room and Aaron went with her.
"How about we go check on Fabian?" Asked Trudy. "That's okay, isn't it, doctor?"
"Sure, go ahead," said the doctor.
"Thank you," said Trudy.
Trudy and the girls from the club into room 9. At the same time, Aaron was in the room where she was lying. Aaron sat beside KT and was holding her hand.
"I just remember coming from the doctor's office and talking to you on the phone, but after that I don't remember anything," said KT.
"You were in the corridor, you were unconscious and so was Fabian," said Aaron.
"In the hallway at home?" Asked KT.
"Yes. My sister and Nina found you and then immediately called the ambulance," said Aaron.
"I don't understand. Why was Fabian next to me?" Asked KT.
Aaron didn't have an answer for that, but of course he knew how KT had gotten into the house. The doctor van entered the room.
"You still got a headache?" Asked the doctor.
"Yeah," said KT.
"Nausea?" Asked the doctor.
"Not as much as first," said KT.
"That's good," said the doctor.
The doctor took KT's chart and filled it out.
"Hey that's strange your blood type isn't filled out yet," said the doctor.
"Is that a problem?" Asked Aaron.
"Not right away, I'll ask the nurse to check it out," said the doctor.
"KT has low blood pressure so it would be nice if that would be taken into account," said Aaron.
"I'll pass that along," said the doctor.
"Great, thank you," said Aaron.
"But I really have to ask you to leave now, because visiting hours are long over," said the doctor.
The doctor walked out of the room. Aaron sat down in the chair and grabbed KT's hand.
A few moments later. The rest of the residents were home and were all sitting in the living room. Victor Jr. entered the living room.
"Don't you guys have anything better to do to hang around here all together," said Victor jr.
"We're waiting," said Otis.
"For what?" Asked Victor jr.
"Until we can eat," said Otis.
"Why isn't there any food on the table yet?" Asked Victor jr.
"Because there is no Trudy," said Jerome.
"Then where is Trudy?" Asked Victor jr.
"No idea," said Mara.
Just then, Trudy and Joy entered the living room.
"Sorry I'm late, but we just got out of the hospital," said Trudy.
"The hospital? But why?" Asked Alfie.
"KT has a really bad concussion and Fabian…," said Trudy, but she just couldn't say it.
"What about Fabian?" Asked Eddie.
"Fabian's in a coma," said Joy.
"What?" Asked the residents in unison.
"And they're not sure if he's...," said Joy.
Alfie got up and grabbed Fabian's bag and ran out of the house. All the residents were shocked to hear about Fabian and KT, even Victor Jr. was shocked.
"I'm sure it'll all be fine..., I need to go to the cellar for a bit," said Victor jr. as he walked away.
"I'm going to my room. Call me as soon as there is any news," said Joy.
"Yes, everything will be fine sweetie," said Trudy, as she hugged Joy.
Joy walked away and went to her room and the rest of the residents all got hugs from Trudy as well.
Victor Jr. walked angrily into the cellar and banged hard on the mirror.
"Father! Show yourself! What happened to those children!" Yelled Victor jr.
"Don't you understood anything, I can't leave the mirror without that mini house," said Victor sr.
"What have you done with KT and Fabian?" Asked Victor jr.
"It wasn't me. But I saw him, someone who had KT with him," said Victor sr.
"You saw him? And who was he?" Asked Victor jr.
"No idea. Some guy in a green raincoat," said Victor sr.
Victor Sr. was starting to fade away.
"Father?" Asked Victor jr.
"You've to get the mini house back and you have to do it now! My powers are deteriorating too fast, said Victor jr.
"But where on earth would I look?" Asked Victor jr.
"You figure that out for yourself, if you ever want to see that dead bird of yours again," said Victor sr.
Victor Sr. disappeared and Victor Jr. wondered who the man in the green raincoat was.
At that same time. Omar was in the cottage in the woods handing Rufus the artifact.
"Finally, the Mask of Anubis is mine," said Rufus.
At the same time, Omar got a phone call, but when he saw that it was Joy he hang up on her.
"Joy, she must be worried," said Omar in a sinister tone.
"Joy has done her job, we don't need her anymore," said Rufus
Rufus and Omar laughed evilly.
Back in the house. Joy was in her room and called Omar over and over again, but he kept not picking up. Joy angrily threw the phone on the floor and sat down on her bed. Joy thought back the talk she had Fabian, in which he asked for her help to get the mini house back and this only made Joy feel more guilty.
"Not Fabian, not Fabian, please not Fabian," said Joy.
A few moments later in the hospital. Aaron was grabbing some water and Alfie came running up and almost bumped into him.
"Hey!" Yelled Alfie.
"Hey," said Aaron.
"What's up? How are they? How's KT?" Asked Alfie, as he and Aaron sat down.
"Bad, bad and bad," said Aaron.
"That's not good," said Alfie.
"KT gets to go home tomorrow, but Fabian is really not doing well," said Aaron.
"But what happened?" Asked Alfie.
"Someone kidnapped KT and put her hand on the stone of Nephthys," said Aaron.
"But who kidnapped her?" Asked Alfie.
"No idea," said Aaron.
"But what happened to Fabian?" Asked Alfie.
"I know as much as you do," said Aaron.
"So nothing," said Alfie.
"I'm not supposed to be here, but I can't go home," said Aaron.
"I understand that," said Alfie.
'With KT lying here like this and not being able to do anything, I feel ..., said Aaron, not being able to describe how he felt.
"Is there anything I can do?" Asked Alfie.
"Could you maybe get me some coffee and then bring it to me?" Asked Aaron.
"No problem, said Alfie.
"I'm in Room 7, that's were KT is lying, said Aaron.
"Go to your girlfriend and Super Alfie will get you some coffee, said Alfie.
Alfie got up and went to find a coffee machine, but before he left he gave Aaron a cookie that he still had in his pocket.
In the meantime in the cottage in the woods. Omar took the mini house out of the chest and put it in front of Rufus.
"According to Joy, you have to pour the liquid from the bottle into the chimney, said Omar.
"I had to wait a long time for it but this is the moment, said Rufus.
Rufus removed the cap from the artifact and poured it empty into the chimney. Smoke came out of the chimney and the roof popped open. Rufus opened the roof a took out the next clue and did not look happy.
Back at the hospital. The doctor was in KT's room and was doing a check up on her.
"The nausea will go away soon, but the headache will stay for a while," said the doctor.
"And everything else is fine?" Asked KT
"Yes everything is fine, you just have to stay in a dark room for the next few days. And rest is also very important," said the doctor.
The doctor gave KT something to help her rest. Aaron entered the room and didn't notice the doctor was there.
"Hadn't I asked you to leave," said the doctor.
"Can't he just stay a little while longer until I fall asleep?" Asked KT to the doctor.
"5 more minutes, But then you go home," said the doctor.
"Yes, sir," said Aaron.
The doctor walked out of the room and Aaron sat down and looked at KT.
"I know what you're going to say but I'm not going to let you send me away," said Aaron.
"I just wanted to say that I really appreciate it," said KT.
"What?" Asked Aaron.
"That you're here," said KT.
"Of course," said Aaron.
"Why Fabian?" Asked KT, as she slowly started to doze off.
"Shh, go to sleep," said Aaron.
KT closed her eyes and slowly fell asleep. Aaron gave her a kiss on the cheek. Suddenly the door opened Alfie came into the room. Aaron got up and walked over to Alfie.
"Here's your coffee dude," said Alfie, as he gave Aaron his coffee.
"Thanks," said Aaron.
"Want to go home together?" Asked Alfie.
"No I'm staying here with KT," said Aaron.
"All right," said Alfie.
"Will you do one more thing for me?" Asked Aaron.
"What?" Asked Alfie.
"See how my sister and the others are doing and if there's anything new on Fabian," said Aaron.
"Sure. As soon as I hear anything I'll let you know," said Alfie.
"Thanks, Alfie," said Aaron.
Alfie walked out of the room and went to find the rest of the club. Aaron took a sip of his coffee and sat back down and looked at KT.
In the meantime. Joy arrived at the hospital and saw Amber and Patricia sitting in the waiting room and sat down with them.
"And do they know anything more?" Asked Joy.
"No, the good news is that the situation hasn't gotten any worse," said Patricia.
"Is Nina with him now?" Asked Joy.
"Yes, she is," said Patricia.
"Poor Nina," said Amber.
Meanwhile, Nina was in room 9 and sitting next to Fabian's bed with tears in her eyes, as she looked her boyfriend.
"I miss you. Usually you're the one who comes to my rescue and now you're here. Remember when Gran was so sick, you told me not to give up that it would be okay," said Nina. "Please come back soon Fabian, I can't live without you."
Nina looked at the necklace she got from Fabian and took Fabian's hand.
"It's going to be okay, I'm going to make sure you get better, I promise you. Sibuna," said Nina, while she did the Sibuna gesture.
Nina gave Fabian a kiss on his forehead and walked out of the room. When Nina was out of the room one of Fabian's fingers moved. Nina arrived in the waiting room was the rest of the club still sitting.
"Hey, said Patricia.
"You all right? Asked Alfie.
"I know what we've to do, said Nina.
"What? Asked Amber.
"We need to find the Mask of Anubis for Fabian, said Nina.
"But to find the Mask we need the mini house, said Alfie.
"And that's why we're going to find it, said Nina.
"And if we don't find the chest? Asked Amber.
"We're not gonna think about that now. We are going to get rid of Senkhara and we are going to make Fabian better, said Nina. Are you guys with me?
"For Fabian," said Patricia.
"Sibuna," said Nina, while she did the Sibuna gesture.
"Sibuna," said the rest of the club, while they did the Sibuna gesture.
Nina went back to Fabian's room and deciced to stay with him. The rest of the club went back home.
Two hours later. Aaron was still in KT's room. Aaron got up to go to the bathroom, he carefully opened the door and checked that no one was there. When the coast was clear he went to the bathroom. And while Aaron was going to the bathroom, another doctor entered KT's room.
Who is this doctor? Was he trying to help KT or was he up to something bad?
