House of Dismissal:
The mysterious doctor was in KT's room and walked over to her bed. KT didn't notice a things as she was fast asleep, the mysterious doctor grabbed her chart and filled something out. Then Aaron came back into the room and the mysterious doctor quickly hid himself. Aaron sat back in the chair and closed his eyes and fell asleep, as Aaron fell asleep the mysterious doctor left.
At that same time in the cottage in the woods. Rufus was lying on the bed and Omar tried to call Joy, but couldn't get hold of her.
"She's not answering," said Omar.
"We'll have to convince her that working together is the only option," said Rufus.
"But how?" Asked Omar.
"Bring her here, I'll get her to cooperate," said Rufus.
"Are you sure that you can convince her?" Asked Omar.
"She has to, I don't have long, I need that mask," said Rufus.
Rufus was having trouble breathing and he put on his oxygen mask.
The next day. The Anubis residents sat down to breakfast, but no one really had an appetite and just stared at the empty chairs.
"Do you know any more about KT and Fabian?" Asked Mara.
"No, I only know that Aaron stayed with KT and Nina stayed with Fabian," said Patricia.
"I feel so bad for Aaron and Nina," said Mara.
"KT can come home today, that's at least some good news," said Alfie.
"But we've to wait to see if Fabian will wake up from his coma," said Amber.
"It's so weird, we saw Fabian yesterday morning and he was fine. So how come he's suddenly in a coma?" Asked Otis.
"I don't know either," said Amber.
The residents eat their breakfast and headed to school.
In the meantime in the hospital. KT was awake and was eating breakfast, Aaron was sitting on the bed with her and wanted to grab some of her breakfast too and KT playfully tapped his hand with a spoon.
"That's only for sick patients," said KT.
"I haven't slept as much as you did," said Aaron.
"Oh, poor Aaron," teased KT. "You want to trade?"
"Well, it doesn't look all too bad," said Aaron.
"Oh, I see, you're feeling much better," said the doctor as he walked in.
"I'm feeling pretty good. I just have a headache and I still can't remember anything," said KT.
"Don't force it. It'll work itself out. I just want to take a blood sample and do another test and then you can go home," said the doctor.
"Okay," said KT.
The doctor took KT's chart and he noticed something strange.
"That's strange, your blood group is already filled out," said the doctor.
"It can't be," said Aaron.
"O-positive, that's what is saying," said the doctor.
"So now what?" Asked Aaron.
"Now we just have to do the other test," said the doctor.
"All right," said KT.
"I'm gonna have to ask you to wait in the hallway," said the doctor.
"Okay, can I go see Fabian in the meantime?" Asked Aaron.
"Go on, but get it short," said the doctor.
"Okay," said Aaron.
Aaron gave KT a kiss and walked out of her room. Aaron walked over to hospital room were Fabian was lying. Aaron entered the room and saw Nina asleep in the chair, with her head lying on Fabian's bed.
"Nina," said Aaron, as he taped on her shoulder.
"Fabian?" Asked Nina, as she woke up
"No, it's me Aaron," said Aaron.
"Oh, sorry I was hoping that it was…," said Nina, as she looked over at Fabian.
"It's okay I understand," said Aaron. "How's he doing?"
"Nothing's changed. That's not bad, but it's not good either," said Nina.
"Yeah," said Aaron.
"And how's KT?" Asked Nina.
"She's got one more thing to do and then she can go home," said Aaron.
"Good for her and for you, of course," said Nina.
"Fabian will probably up soon," said Aaron.
"I hope so," said Nina.
"Do you want some coffee?" Asked Aaron.
"Yes, I could really use some coffee right now," said Nina.
Nina got up and walked Aaron out of the room to get coffee. When Nina and Aaron had their coffee they walked back to Fabian's room and ran into Trudy.
"Trudy what are you doing here?" Asked Aaron.
"KT can come home today, so I'm here to pick her up," said Trudy.
"Glad you want to do that," said Aaron
"But of course, I'll do anything for my sweeties," said Trudy.
"Thank you so much," said Aaron.
"How's Fabian, any news?" Asked Trudy.
"Nothing's changed," said Nina.
"Maybe school will provide a little distraction for the both of you," said Trudy.
"School? I don't want to go to school. I want to stay at KT," said Aaron.
"And I don't want to leave Fabian alone," said Nina.
"There's nothing you can do for Fabian now and I'll take good care of KT," said Trudy.
"Promise you'll take good care of her?" Asked Aaron.
"Aaron, I always take good care of my sweeties," said Trudy.
"Thanks, Trudy," said Aaron.
"Now go home and freshen yourself up, get something to eat and get to school," said Trudy.
"Don't you think we're gonna get in trouble for being late?" Asked Nina.
"I already called Ms. Delaney and explained everything and she understands," said Trudy.
Nina and Aaron quickly finished their coffees and headed back home.
A few moments later at school. Joy was sitting on a bench in the school yard and Otis came to sit next to her.
"Hey," said Otis.
"Hi," said Joy.
"I'm sorry," said Otis.
"About what?" Asked Joy.
"About the past few days and for being such a jerk," said Otis.
"You were never a jerk, You had every right to be mad at me, I was acting weird," said Joy.
"Let's forget about it," said Otis.
Joy said nothing and just hugged Otis.
"I'm so happy to have you," said Joy.
"I'm glad I have you, too," said Otis.
The bell rang and Joy let Otis go. Otis got up to go to class, but Joy didn't got up.
"Are you coming?" Asked Otis.
"I really don't want to go to class right now," said Joy.
"I understand," said Otis. "Do you want to me to say with you?"
"No, it's better if one of us is in class," said Joy.
"I'll come up with an excuse why you're not in class, said Otis.
Otis kissed Joy on the cheek and walked into the school building. Joy got up and walked down the schoolyard. Joy was just walking to clear her head and then Omar's black van pulled up. Omar got out and pulled Joy into the van. Omar tied Joy and the a hood over her head and then he drove away hard.
Half an hour later. Amber, Patricia and Alfie sat in an empty classroom and Nina and Aaron came in and sat down with them.
"Hey," said Amber.
"How's it going?" Asked Patricia.
"KT gets to go home, so that make me feel better," said Aaron.
"And Fabian is he awake yet?" Asked Alfie.
"Unfortunately no," said Nina.
"I'm sorry, Nina," said Patricia.
"Guys I spent the night thinking about what we can do now," said Nina.
"What do you want to do?" Asked Amber.
"We've to do whatever it takes to get the mini house back," said Nina.
"Whoever has the chest is also after the Mask of Anubis," said Alfie.
"But whoever has the mini house, can't use it now anyway. First of all, the clues are always in the house and we still have the map," said Aaron.
"Exactly, so we'll have to make a very good plan, said Nina. Let's meet in the science lab, after school.
"All right, let's do it," said Patricia.
"Where's Joy?" Asked Aaron.
"I don't know," said Patricia.
"I did saw her in the schoolyard earlier," said Alfie.
"Okay, then we tell her later," said Nina.
In the meantime. Omar had taken Joy into the cottage in the forest. Omar took the hood off Joy's head and Joy sat facing Rufus Zeno.
"Welcome, good to see you again," said Rufus.
"Untie me," said Joy.
"I don't think so, young lady, otherwise we can't talk about our partnership," said Rufus
"Partnership? I don't do anything for you anymore! Haven't you done enough already? Do people have to die, is that what you want!" Yelled Joy,
"What do you mean Joy? We want the Mask of Anubis, that's it!" Said Omar.
"Right and that's why Fabian is in a coma," said Joy.
"Fabian in a coma, yeah right," said Omar, as he didn't a word of what Joy said.
"What do you think we've done?" Asked Rufus.
"You wanted the artifact too. Omar obviously caught Fabian trying to save KT and then you...," said Joy.
"That's not true," said Omar.
"Isn't it? Maybe next time you should cover your tracks better," said Joy.
"What do you mean?" Asked Omar
"I mean that snake symbol on the ground," said Joy.
"Snake symbol? What snake symbol"? Asked Rufus.
"The golden beast with its head up," said Joy.
"The cobra! The symbol of the cobra!" Yelled Rufus.
Rufus began to hyperventilate and Omar put his oxygen mask on him and tried to calm him down. Joy was surprised at Rufus reaction when she told him about the snake symbol.
Back at school, Eddie was in his father's office. But when he came in, it wasn't his father in the office, Mrs. Delaney.
"Ms. Delaney?" Asked Eddie.
"Eddie what are you doing here?" Asked Ms. Delaney.
"I wanted to talk to my dad, see how he was doing," said Eddie.
"Yeah, that's why I'm here too," said Ms. Delaney.
Mr. Sweet came into his office and he didn't look happy.
"The school board fired me," said Mr. Sweet.
"Fired you?" Asked Ms. Delaney.
"It says so right here, "said Mr. Sweet as he hold up the letter.
"Let me read it," said Ms. Delaney, as she took the letter.
"It's because of that musical, That Shepard made the school board think I don't have any control, said Mr. Sweet.
"But it's not definite, Mr. Shepard is coming to talk to you first," said Ms. Delaney.
"That letter says it all. There goes my good name! How am I ever going to find a job anywhere?" Asked Mr. Sweet.
"Dad, I'm sorry" said Eddie.
Mr. Sweet ran off, upset, and Ms. Delaney followed him. Eddie sat down in the chair and felt sorry for his father.
A few moments later, Omar dropped Joy off near school. Joy was about to run away and go back to school.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, not so fast young lady," said Omar.
Omar took a small crate out of his pocket and showed it to Joy.
"What's that?" Asked Joy.
"A new piece of furniture from the mini house, to get the next clue," said Omar.
"You think I'm crazy or something? And I've never seen that thing before," said Joy.
"I don't think you're crazy and that's why you're taking this, it's somewhere in the house," said Omar.
"What's with the cobra? What does it mean?" Asked Joy.
"You didn't think I was gonna give you information now. Here, take it," said Omar.
"Why?" Asked Joy.
"Because you don't want your other friends or that boyfriend of yours to end up in the hospital next to Fabian," said Omar, in a threating way.
Joy reluctantly took the mini crate from Omar and put in her bag.
"Call me as soon as you know anything," said Omar. "You still have that phone, don't you?"
Joy nodded her head. Omar got into his van and drove off. Joy walked back to school.
A few moments later at the house. Trudy walked into the garden to water her flowers and plants, but was shocked to see that most of her plants had been eaten.
"My beautiful little flowers destroyed," said Trudy.
Suddenly Trudy heard the bleating of a goat. Trudy turned around and saw a goat standing in the garden.
"And who let a goat loose in my garden?" Asked Trudy.
Trudy walked further into the garden and was suddenly startled.
What frightened Trudy so much? What did she saw? And how did a goat get into the garden?
