House of Crates:
Victor Jr. was lying on the floor in the cellar after literally being blasted out his chair by the scream. Victor jr. woke up and sat up.
"What have those rascals done now?" Asked Victor jr.
Victor jr. got up and took off the headphones and put them down on the table. Victor jr. walked out of the cellar.
After hearing the scream Alfie ran upstairs and down the girls' hallway and bumped into Aaron, he came out of KT's room.
"Watch out man, said Aaron.
"Dude, why were you screaming?" Asked Alfie
"You really didn't think it was me, do you?" Asked Aaron.
"No need to be embarrassed, we all scream sometimes," said Alfie.
"What happened?" Asked Isaac, as he and Trudy walked up to the two boys.
"Aaron screamed," said Alfie.
"I didn't scream," said Aaron.
"Aaron my sweetie, sometimes the shock is so great you can't even remember," said Trudy.
"It wasn't me," said Aaron.
And then there was screaming again and it came from Nina and Amber's room. Aaron, Alfie, Trudy and Isaac rushed to the room and went inside. Amber was standing in her room holding a shredded piece of clothing of hers and screaming and crying. Nina was holding Delphi in her arms.
"What happened? Asked Aaron.
"My dress is ruined, said Amber.
"How did that happen? Asked Trudy.
"It's because of that caprine over there, said Amber, as she pointed to Delphi.
"Delphi is a goat, said Alfie.
"I think Delphi ate her dress, said Nina.
"Bad Delphi, said Isaac.
Isaac walked over to Nina and took Delphi from her. Victor Jr. walked into the room to see what was going on.
"What had I said about that filthy beast, said Victor jr.
Trudy said something, but Victor Jr. heard nothing more than a long beep. Victor jr. walked out of the room.
"I'm sorry she just loves nice clothes," said Isaac.
"Take that filthy animal away," said Amber.
"Excuse me again," said Isaac.
Isaac took Delphi and walked out of the room, Trudy went with him.
"My clothes, my poor clothes! Oh what am I going to wear!" Complained Amber.
"Calm down Amber, Breathe in and breathe out," said Amber.
Amber fell into Nina's arms and cried, while the rest of the club tried to comfort her.
In the meantime, Isaac had returned to the garden and tied a rope against a tree and the other end to Delphi's collar. Trudy stared at the tent were Isaac was going to sleep in.
"I really don't think it's right that you have to sleep here in the garden when there's plenty of room in the house, said Trudy.
"Trudy here in the garden I really feel at home," said Isaac.
"I've cleaned up the entire attic, so if you want you can sleep there," said Trudy.
"That's very sweet of you, but there's a reason I'd rather sleep here," said Isaac.
"You want to stay with Delphi?" Asked Trudy.
"That too, but that's not the only reason I prefer the great outdoors to Anubis House," said Isaac.
"You mean Victor? You don't have to worry about him, he's always grumbling and besides he's only in the cellar all day anyway," said Trudy.
"It's not that either", said Isaac.
"It isn't?" asked Trudy.
"Trudy," said Isaac.
"Yes," said Trudy.
"The house is cursed," said Isaac.
Trudy's eyes went wide when she heard Isaac say the house was cursed and looked at him with an bewildered look
A few moments later and it was dinner time. The residents were sitting at the table and eating their meals.
"So Alfie the word is that your uncle's goat ate Amber's clothes," said Jerome.
"Yeah, oh my poor clothes," said Amber.
"If your clothes had lots of flower patterns on them or something, I can see why the goat ate them," joked Otis.
"I didn't even get to say goodbye," said Amber.
"They're still alive, they're just a little mutilated," said Alfie.
"Alfie shut up you're only making things worse," said Aaron.
"Oh that one pretty pink dress, I've only worn it once, that goat has no idea what it means to me," said Amber.
"Of course not, it's a goat," said Eddie.
The residents continued their dinner, while Amber kept complaining about her clothes.
A few hours later, it was already dark. Alfie was sitting with his uncle in the garden and cup of tea. Alfie had Delphi on his lap and was petting her.
"I feel terrible for that girl, she's all upset about it," said Isaac.
"Amber's upset if one hair falls out or is out of place, so it's really nothing," said Alfie.
"But I feel responsible for it," said Isaac.
"Why? You didn't eat her clothes," said Alfie.
"But Delphi is my goat, so if anyone's going to be held accountable , it's going to be me," said Isaac.
"But those clothes aren't important at all," said Alfie.
"I know you mean well, but you can't decide what's important to whom, and those clothes are very important to Amber, said Isaac.
Alfie wanted to say something but he got distracted by the smell of cake.
"Isaac I've not yet welcomed you as I should and that is why I've this delicious cake for you, said Trudy, as she walked into the garden.
"That's very thoughtful of you, thank you very much, said Isaac.
"It's pecan pie, said Trudy.
"It looks delicious, Trudy, said Isaac.
"Would you like a cup of tea with it? I can get some from the kitchen, said Trudy.
"No, I've my own tea right here, said Isaac.
"I've to go meet up with my friends, said Alfie.
Alfie stood up and got a piece of cake from Trudy. Alfie went back into the house and went to Nina and Amber's room, where the rest of the club was already waiting for him. Alfie sat down on the chair and looked at Nina.
"Okay thank you guys for coming," said Nina.
"No problem," said Aaron.
"Okay we now have an important mission ahead of us and that is to save Fabian," said Nina.
"How are we going to do that?" Asked Amber.
"We need to collect the information from Fabian and KT," said Nina.
"I've got KT's fingerprints right here, said Aaron, as he showed the plastic bag with the cup in it.
"Oh no, I forgot Fabian's fingerprints, because the whole moving rooms thing," said Nina.
"It's okay Nina, you will get them," said Patricia.
"Okay, so this is how it's gonna work from now on. Aaron and Alfie, you two are coming with me to the secret tunnels tomorrow," said Nina.
"I can't go. I want to stay with KT," said Aaron.
"I'll go instead," said Patricia.
"But you don't have an amulet, said Nina.
"Take mine," said Aaron, as he took of his amulet and gave it to Patricia.
"Okay, then Patricia's coming with me and Alfie to the tunnels," said Nina.
"What are we gonna do in there?" Asked Alfie.
"We're going to collect as much data as we can, fingerprints, footsteps anything we can find. We're going to compare this data with our data and so we can find out who has been in the tunnels and who has touched the stone," said Nina.
"But Fabian's hands weren't red, so how come he's in a coma?" Asked Alfie.
"My question exactly, if the poison from the stone didn't get on Fabian, what does he have," said Nina.
"And what is my job? Asked Amber.
"Amber when we're in the tunnels you have to distract Victor, he can't come into the cellar, Joy you guard the hallway and help Amber," said Nina.
"Understood," said Amber.
"Okay," said Joy.
"Aaron, I know you wanna stay with KT, but keep your eyes and ears open," said Nina.
"Okay, but speaking of KT, I think we should tell her what's going on," said Aaron.
"We already agreed not to do that," said Patricia.
"But she has the right to know, what if we need her for another task," said Aaron.
"Then we can we can think of something," said Nina.
"Because that worked so well last time," said Aaron, sarcastically.
"Aaron I know you're worried about her and you've every right to be," said Nina.
"She says once she gets better that she wants to ask you guys what happened," said Aaron. "And what are you going to tell her then?"
"I don't know," said Nina.
"Look she's my girlfriend and I'm lying to her," said Aaron.
"It's for her own protection," said Patricia.
"I know I was originally against it, but I think Aaron is right, we should KT the truth," said Amber.
"Thank you for your support sis," said Aaron.
"But if we keep her out of it, then she also doesn't get cursed by Senkhara," said Patricia.
"But Joy is also involved and she hasn't been marked by Senkhara," said Alfie.
Alfie's words made Joy super nervous and her she looked down. Nina noticed that Joy was acting strange.
"Joy are you okay?" Asked Nina.
"I'm a little nauseous. I'm gonna go get an aspirin from my room," lied Joy.
Joy got up and walked out of the room. Joy went into her room and grabbed and small bag and her flashlight and left her room.
At the same time. Victor Jr. sat in the cellar and tried to eavesdrop on the club, but he heard nothing. Victor jr. took off headphones and clapped his hands, but he still only heard that beep. Victor jr. got up and walked out of the cellar and headed toward the front door. Victor jr. wanted to open the door, but then Trudy was standing in front of him. Joy ran towards the stairs and hid when she saw Victor jr. and Trudy standing there.
"Go away woman leave me alone!" Yelled Victor jr.
"Victor what is going on?" Asked Trudy.
"I've to leave!" Yelled Victor jr.
"Don't yell like that, I'm right in front of you, and you can't just leave like that," said Trudy.
"I'm going to the doctor! Can I get through now?" Asked Victor jr.
"To the doctor? At this hour? And why is that?" Asked Trudy.
Victor Jr. couldn't hear Trudy and was fiddling with the string of the amulet, because he had an itch in his neck
"Ignore me again, but if you don't say why you are going to the doctor I won't let you go, said Trudy.
"Bye, Trudy," said Victor jr.
Victor Jr. opened the front door and walked out of the house and Trudy walked back to the kitchen. Joy saw her chance and walked downstairs and entered the cellar. Joy entered the cellar and took the mini crate and her flashlight from her purse and searched the cellar. Soon Joy had found the crate.
"So here you are," said Joy.
Joy put the mini crate away and opened the crate and searched it. Joy shoved the stuff to the side and came across an old looking envelop. Joy took the envelope out of the crate.
"Got it," said Joy.
At that same moment, Victor Jr. re-entered the house. Trudy walked down the hall with garbage cases in her hands she saw Victor Jr. coming and walked up to him.
"Victor, please help me out a bit," said Trudy.
"I forgot my keys!" Yelled Victor jr. as he head to the cellar.
"Okay fine, I'll do it again on my own," said Trudy.
Joy heard Victor Jr. coming and had to hide quickly. Joy ran towards the secret room, but realized she no longer had an amulet on. Joy opened the crate again and hid in there and hoped she wouldn't be discovered. Victor Jr. walked into the cellar and walked over to his chemistry set. Joy lifted the lid of the crate slightly and carefully poked her head out. Victor jr.'s neck started to itch more and he took of the amulet and put it down on the table.
Will Joy get busted by Victor jr.? And what will the next clue lead to?
