Nina, Patricia and Alfie were in the secret room and feared they would be discovered by Victor Jr. Amber could still be hear over the walkie-talkie and Nina turned off the walkie-talkie. Nina looked in the direction of Victor Jr. but saw that he was just sitting at his table and did not move.

"He didn't hear us," said Nina.

"Is he deaf or something?" Asked Patricia.

"Victor is completely deaf," said Alfie, as he left the secret room.

"You don't know that for sure," said Nina.

"Victor," said Alfie.

But Victor Jr. didn't hear Alfie and he was busy with his device. Nina and Patricia came out of the secret room.

"You see he's deaf, he can't even hear Super Alfie's Super Rap," said Alfie.

"We're not staying here to find out," said Patricia.

"Come on, let's go back upstairs," said Nina.

"But we can't go through the secret passage, we have to pass Victor," said Patricia.

"He's deaf, he can't hear us," said Alfie.

"But he's not blind, he can see us even if we crawl," said Nina.

"Then how do we get out?" Asked Alfie.

"Through the door," said Nina.

Nina, Patricia and Alfie walked up and left the cellar. Victor sr. appeared in the mirror.

"Victor come here," said Victor sr.

But victor jr. didn't hear his father, because he was still deaf and was only focused on fixing his device.

"Our reunion will be soon my noble fighter friend," said Victor jr.

In the meantime. Amber was in her room showing her dress to Aaron and Joy.

"Beautiful huh, Uncle Isaac says I look like a princess," said Amber.

Nina, Patricia and Alfie walked into the room looking everything but happy.

"Where were you guys! Victor was in the cellar!" Said Nina.

"Did he see you?" Asked Joy.

"Be didn't see and he didn't hear us, Victor is super deaf," said Alfie.

"And if he hadn't, we'd be still there right now," said Nina.

"Oh sorry, but Uncle Isaac was so insistent I couldn't say no," said Amber.

"Do you have any idea what could have happened?" Asked Patricia.

"Everything turned out fine, right? You guys have the fingerprints after all," said Amber.

"I found three fingerprints, one on the stone and two on the gate," said Alfie.

"So you didn't get caught by Victor and I have a nice dress," said Amber.

"Well, part one is over," said Nina.

"Part one?" Asked Amber.

"Yeah, we just need to match up the right fingerprints. We got KT's, all we need those of Fabian," said Nina.

Two days later and the school week was back on. Joy was up early to meet Omar at the old ruins. Joy quietly left her room and sneaked downstairs. Aaron who was also already awake was hiding in the stairwell closet and watched Joy leave. When Joy was gone Aaron came out of the closet and followed Joy outside.

A few moments later, the residents except Aaron and Joy were sitting at the table for breakfast. Nina picked up a glass with a cloth and put it in her bag.

"What are you going to do with that?" Asked Amber.

"I'm going to the hospital later before school, to get Fabian's fingerprints," said Nina.

"It's early and you're already so sharp, but that's what you get when you get research lessons from the best," said Alfie.

Nina grinned and got up and to go to the hospital and saw KT entering to room with Mara and Jerome supporting her.

"Hey KT," said Amber.

"Can you get out of bed already?" Asked Nina.

"Actually no, but I'm going crazy in that bed," said KT.

"Take it easy," said Nina.

"I will," said KT.

Nina left the house and Mare and Jerome took KT to the table and set her down.

"Has anyone seen Aaron?" Asked KT.

"He was already gone when I woke up," said Otis.

"Thank goodness. He will sent me right back up to my room," said KT.

"Aaron, your personal nurse," joked Jerome.

"He's very sweet, but sometimes it's a little too much," said KT.

"He just cares about you and wants to protect you. That's just the way he is and I know it as his sister," said Amber.

"Oh sweetie, so here you are," said Trudy, as she entered the living room with a tray in her hands.

"Yes, I really wanted to get out of bed," said KT

"I thought I'd go upstairs and get you some breakfast," said Trudy.

"That's very sweet of you, Trudy, but I'll just enjoy your delicious breakfast here then," said KT.

Trudy put the breakfast down for KT and went back to the kitchen.

A few moments later. Nina had arrived at the hospital and went to the room where Fabian was lying. Nina checked that no one was there and when the coast was clear she walked over to Fabian. Nina gave Fabian a kiss on the cheek. Nina put down her bag and took out the glass.

"I've to do something, I'll try to do it fast," said Nina.

Nina gently took Fabian's hand and pressed his fingers on the glass. Once Nina was done, she put the glass in a plastic bag and put it back in her bag. Nina looked at Fabian with a guilty look in her eyes.

"Sorry, but this way we can find out how to..., to get you better again," said Nina.

Nina grabbed Fabian's hand and her eyes started to fill up with tears.

"Please get better," begged Nina.

Nina started crying more and more and kissed Fabian's hand. At that same moment the door opened and Mason entered the room.

"Oh sorry I'll leave you alone, "said Mason.

"No, I'm all right," said Nina.

"It's not nice to see your boyfriend lying there like that, said Mason, as he walked into the room.

"No, it's not. I'm just so afraid that he never ...," said Nina, but she couldn't finish her sentence.

"Hey, don't think like that. You've to stay positive and especially talk to him a lot, maybe he will hear you," said Mason.

Mason took flowers from a vase by his bed and gave them to Nina.

"Here you go," said Mason.

"Thank you, that's very sweet of you," said Nina.

"You're welcome," said Mason.

"I gotta get to school," said Nina.

"Then I'll walk with you, I've to do my workout," said Mason.

"Okay," said Nina.

Nina gave Fabian a kiss on the cheek and held the door open for Mason. Mason walked out of the room and Nina turned and looked at Fabian.

I'll see you soon, said Nina.

Nina walked out of the room and walked towards the exit. A few seconds later the mysterious doctor came in with and stretcher. The mysterious doctor walked over to Fabian's bedside and grabbed his chart and filled something out. The mysterious doctor put the stretcher next to Fabian's bed. The mysterious doctor put Fabian on the stretcher and wheeled him out of the room. The doctor went outside with Fabian then and put him in an ambulance. The mystery doctor got into the ambulance and drove off with Fabian.

In the meantime, Aaron had followed Joy to the ancient ruins. Joy was waiting for Omar and Aaron was hiding behind a wall. Omar arrived and walked towards Joy.

"Ah there's my favorite little spy," said Omar.

"I've photos of the map for the next clue," said Joy.

Joy took the pictures out of her bag and gave them to Omar and Aaron took his phone and took a picture of Joy and Omar.

"And you leave my friends alone," said Joy.

Omar walked away. Aaron put his phone away and headed to school.

A few moments later, the residents were at school. Mara sat in class and was reading a book, Jerome and Otis entered the classroom. Jerome sat down next to Mara and Otis a table in front of them.

"Hey," said Jerome.

"Hi," said Mara.

"What are you doing?" Asked Jerome.

"I'm reading a book, as you can see," said Mara.

"About what?" Asked Otis.

"It's a first aid book," said Mara.

"Why are you reading a first aid book?" Asked Jerome.

"My roommate is sick and if something happens I want to be prepared," said Mara.

"What can you do? KT has a concussion and partial memory loss," said Otis.

"Well, actually, I'm reading about severe concussions," said Mara.

"And is it informative?" Asked Otis.

"Yes, it is," said Mara.

The bell rang and the rest of the students came in. Ms. Delaney came in too and she didn't look happy.

"Ms. Delaney doesn't look happy," said Otis.

"And I think I know why that is," said Mara.

So before we start class, I want to talk to you about the musical that made you a total disaster, said Ms. Delaney.

"Aren't you overreacting just a bit?" asked one of the students.

Overreacting? The school board is threatening to fire Mr. Sweet because of the chaos you've caused," said Ms. Delaney.

"Isn't that a bit of an exaggeration?" Asked Jerome.

"Yeah, Mr. Sweet isn't going to go away just like that," said Amber.

"The board is furious," said Ms. Delaney.

Eddie got up and walked to the door.

"Where are you going?" Asked Ms. Delaney.

"To see my father," said Eddie.

Eddie walked out of the classroom and went to his father's office.

"Dad," said Eddie.

"Edison, what are you doing here?" Asked Mr. Sweet.

"I want to talk to you," said Eddie.

"About what?" Asked Mr. Sweet.

"We've to figure out a way for you to stay," said Eddie.

"Edison, that's not your concern," said Mr. Sweet.

"Yes, it is, because it's our fault you're getting fired," said Eddie.

"It's not your fault," said Mr. Sweet.

"But it was total chaos," said Eddie.

"Yeah, but even if it wasn't chaos, Mr. Shepard would find something he wouldn't like and complained about it," said Mr. Sweet.

"What's the deal with that guy anyway?" Asked Eddie.

"Mr. Shepard is the new head of the school board and he wants me gone," said Mr. Sweet.

"But why is that?" Asked Eddie.

"No idea," said Mr. Sweet.

"But the school is doing great and that's because of your leadership," said Eddie.

"That Shepard's just a young guy and he wants to show off his skills and he's just a...," said Mr. Sweet.

"A giant turd," said Eddie.

"Edison," said Mr. Sweet.

"He is and you think so too," said Eddie.

"Okay, he's a giant turd," said Mr. Sweet.

"A mega-giant turd," said Eddie.

"But one with the power to fire me," said Mr. Sweet.

Mr. Sweet sighed deeply and felt defeated, Eddie looked at his father and felt sorry for his father.

After class, The club minus Aaron and Joy walked through the hallways of the school.

"Nina," said Alfie.

"Yes," said Nina.

"Do you have Fabian's fingerprints?" Asked Alfie.

"Yes," said Nina.

"Good, because the lab is waiting for material," said Alfie.

"We already have KT's, thanks to Aaron, said Patricia.

Nina grabbed the plastic bag with the glass from her bag. Nina lost the grip of the plastic bag and the glass fell onto ground. Nina picked up the bag, that was now filled with shattered glass pieces.

No, I really don't want to do this again. I was already feeling so guilty," said Nina.

"Hey, we'll go with you," said Amber.

"Yes, we will," said Patricia.

At that same moment, Aaron walked up and looked around like he was looking for something.

"Aaron," said Amber.

"Yeah," said Aaron.

"What's up?" Asked Amber.

"Nothing. Why do you ask? Asked Aaron.

"Because you're looking around like you're looking for something or someone, said Amber.

"I was looking for..., never mind, said Aaron.

"Are you coming to the hospital to see Fabian? Asked Patricia.

"Yeah, of course," said Aaron.

Nina, Amber, Aaron, Patricia and Alfie walked toward the exit of school and the five of them headed toward the hospital. A few minutes later and they arrived at the hospital. Nina, Amber, Aaron, Patricia and Alfie entered Fabian's room and opened the curtain and saw that Fabian's bed was empty.

"Huh?" Said Amber.

"Did they move him again?" Asked Nina.

Then the doctor came in and Amber walked over to him.

"Sir we are looking for Fabian Rutter, he was lying there," said Amber.

"I've very bad news, I'm very sorry, but Fabian passed away an hour ago," said the doctor.

Nina's couldn't believe her ears and she dropped the glass out of her hands and it shattered on the floor.

Nina and the club had heard that Fabian was dead. But of course they didn't know that Fabian had been kidnapped by the mysterious doctor. Why did that doctor kidnap Fabian. And why did everyone have to think Fabian is dead.
