House of Bad News:

Nina, Amber, Aaron, Patricia and Alfie had just heard from the doctor that Fabian had died. Everyone was shocked and speechless.

"No, it can't be. I was just here this morning," said Nina.

"Fabian suddenly had a cardiac arrest this afternoon, they tried everything to revive him but it didn't work. We did everything we could, but we didn't succeed," said the doctor.

Nina, Amber and Patricia started to cry, Aaron was silent and had tears in his eyes. Suddenly Alfie started to laugh.

"Come on doc you are joking right?" Asked Alfie.

The doctor shook his head and the smile on Alfie's face quickly disappeared.

"Is there anything I can do for you? Is there anyone at home I can call for you?" Asked the doctor.

"Yes, Trudy or Victor," said Patricia.

"Shall I ask them to come here?" Asked the doctor.

Amber nodded her head and the doctor walked away. Nina grabbed the covers of the bed and the tears rolled down her face. The doctor called to the house, but no one answered. A minute later, he came back into the room.

"I haven't been able to reach anyone," said the doctor.

"But what should we do now? Where is Fabian?" Asked Amber.

"There's really nothing you can do now. As soon as we know more I'll let you know," said the doctor.

The doctor walked away. Amber walked up to Aaron and hugged him. Patricia was crying, Alfie was staring at the floor with his mouth open with much confusion and Nina was speechless and could only fetch.

In the meantime in the garden. Delphi was mewling restlessly and Isaac walked over to her to calm her down. Delphi looked up and then Isaac also looked up and saw how the clouds were getting darker and darker.

"There is doom in the air, great doom," said Isaac.

At the same time at the school, Joy entered the classroom and sat down next to Otis.

"Is Ms. Delaney not here yet?" Asked Joy.

"No," said Otis.

"Do you know where the others are?" Asked Joy.

"No idea, haven't seen them," said Otis.

The students settled down as soon as they saw Mr. Sweet and Mrs. Delaney walk into the room. Mr. Sweet went to stand in front of the class with Mrs. Delaney at his side and they both looked very sad.

"I've a..., I've received a very sad message from the hospital, Your classmate and friend Fabian Rutter sadly passed away this morning," said Mr. Sweet.

"What? What do you mean?" Asked Eddie.

"We received the tragic news this morning that Fabian has died of a cardiac arrest," said Mr. Sweet.

Ms. Delaney started crying. Mara also began to cry and Jerome put his arm around her to comfort her and even he also softley begon to cry. Otis had tears in his eyes and Eddie held his hands in front of his face and looked down. With tears in her eyes, Joy ran out of the classroom, Ms. Delaney wanted to go after her, but Mr. Sweet stopped her.

"Let her be, everyone has to deal with this for themselves, said Mr. Sweet.

Back at the hospital, the club was in the hallway in front of Fabian's room, nobody said anything.

"I think... I think we should go home," said Patricia.

"We can't just leave," said Amber.

"We've to wait," said Nina.

"Wait for what?" Asked Aaron.

"I think Patricia's right, We better go home," said Amber.

The club started walking slowly towards the hospital exit.

"It's not fair," said Amber.

"I don't believe this," said Nina.

"Neither do I," said Amber.

"Amber pinch me please, Tell me this is not true," said Nina.

"I wish I could," said Amber.

"Are you okay?" Asked Patricia to Aaron.

"What do you think? "Asked Aaron.

"Sorry stupid question, I'm just so confused and upset about this," said Patricia.

"So am I," said Aaron.

"This is a dream, this is a nightmare, He can't just be gone," said Nina.

Amber put an arm around Nina and tried to comfort her.

"Hey don't just give up. Something must have happened, maybe he was abducted by aliens. Maybe this is just a big joke," said Alfie.

"Alfie, please not this, not now," said Amber.

"No, no, listen! Fabian was healthy. He is not dead. He's just sitting at home watching TV for sure, I'll go home and I'll see him there, there's no way around it," said Alfie.

Alfie ran towards the hospital exit and the rest of the club stayed in the hallway.

"Shouldn't we go after him?" Asked Aaron.

"Leave him, we'll meet him back at the house," said Patricia.

"I think his uncle will look after him. Let's get out of here," said Amber.

Aaron and Patricia nodded their heads. Amber put her arm around Nina and together they left the hospital.

At the same time. Joy had run to the old ruins and looked around.

"Omar! Omar! Omar!" Yelled Joy.

Then the phone rang. Joy took the phone out of her bag and smashed it against the wall. Joy fell down on her knees with her hands through her hair and began to cry even more

Meanwhile in the cottage in the woods. Omar tried to call Joy but got no answer from her.

"How's it going?" Asked Rufus.

"Everything is going according to plan, Joy will do the new task for us," lied Omar.

"That's good news, that's very good news. We're running out of time, I don't have much longer," said Rufus.

Omar picked up his phone and tried to call Joy again, but again no answer, much to his frustration.

Back at school, Mara, Jerome, Otis and Eddie had gone to the computer lab and were processing the news about Fabian.

"I can't believe Fabian is dead," said Jerome.

"Neither can I and I don't want to believe it either," said Otis.

"None of us want to believe this," said Eddie.

"I don't have the words for this," said Mara.

"What's gonna happen now?" Asked Otis.

"A funeral, I think," said Jerome.

"It's so hard to imagine that we're going to have a funeral for Fabian," said Eddie.

"I find it hard to imagine Anubis House without Fabian," said Otis.

"I can't imagine it either," said Eddie.

"I mean, we've lost residents before right, Mick, Caitlin and Fiona left us," said Jerome.

"It's not the same," said Otis.

"But they left of their own free will. Fabian didn't and he will never coming back," said Eddie.

"Why Fabian?" Asked Otis.

"Poor Nina, I can't even imagine how she must feel now," said Mara.

"What about his parents, his little brother, the rest of his family," said Jerome.

"We are all going to miss Fabian," said Eddie.

"Anubis House will never be the same without Fabian," said Otis.

In the meantime, Nina, Amber, Aaron and Patricia had left the hospital and were walking towards the bus stop.

"I don't get it, I don't understand it at all, suddenly he's dead," said Patricia.

"I can't understand it either," said Aaron.

"What will we do without Fabian? Who has to solve the riddle now, none of us can do that as well as Fabian," said Amber.

"Amber, is that really al you can think about, that doesn't even matter now," said Aaron.

Amber went on and on and on. Nina didn't pay attention to Amber or the rest and looked at the hospital and saw an ambulance coming and the mysterious doctor getting out. The mysterious doctor looked Nina's way and Nina glared at him. The mysterious doctor turned and walked into the hospital. Amber walked over to Nina.

"Nina can you do it?" Asked Amber.

"Can I what?" Asked Nina.

"Can you solve riddles?" Asked Amber

"Guys, the bus is coming. Are you guys coming?" Asked Patricia.

"Yeah, let's go," said Amber.

Amber grabbed Nina's arm and took her to the bus stop. The club got on the bus and were on their way back to Anubis house.

Somewhere in villa far away from Anubis house, Fabian was lying in a room. Fabian's eyes shot up and he was awake. At first Fabian only saw blurry, he blinked his eyes and began to see better. Fabian lifted his head and looked out at a large garden, but before he could see more, he lost consciousness again.

At the same time in the house. Isaac was meditating in the garden and Trudy came walking up with a tray.

"Am I interrupting?" Asked Trudy.

"No, I've just finished, said Isaac.

"I thought you might like a cup of tea or a nice cookie," said Trudy.

"Yes, that sounds lovely," said Isaac.

Trudy put the tray down and poured some tea for Isaac and handed it to him.

"Thank you," said Isaac.

"You're welcome," said Trudy.

"Would you like to join me for a cup of tea?" Asked Isaac.

"Yes, I would love to," said Trudy.

Trudy sat down with Isaac and poured some tea for herself as well.

"You wanted to ask me something," said Isaac.

"How funny that you bring that up," said Trudy.

"Yes," said Isaac.

"But I haven't said anything yet," said Trudy.

"Excuse me, go ahead," said Isaac.

"Last time you told me that the house was cursed," said Trudy.

"Indeed I told you that and it's cursed," said Isaac.

"Could you un-cursing it as well?" Asked Trudy.

"As I said, yes," said Isaac.

"Are you saying you really knew I was going to ask? You knew, didn't you?" Asked Trudy.

"Yes, I did," said Isaac.

"But how? I mean the un-cursing?" Asked Trudy.

"First, it takes 20 kilos of peeled potatoes," said Isaac.

"Oh but that's no problem at all, I'll take care of that immediately, enjoy the tea and cookie," said Trudy.

"I'll," said Isaac.

"Thank you very much," said Trudy, as she got up.

"Bye," said Isaac.

Trudy went back into the house and Isaac got a worried look on his face and looked at Delphi.

"Indeed Delphi, dark clouds and I will need my energy for that, but I will manage," said Isaac.

Meanwhile Alfie had arrived in the house and ran straight to Fabian's room.

"Fabian," said Alfie.

"Disappointed, Alfie left Fabian's room and bumped into Victor Jr.

"Can't watch out?" Asked Victor jr.

"Where's Fabian?" Asked Alfie, as he grabbed Victor jr.'s arms.

"Get those hands off me at once, Alfie Lewis," said Victor jr.

"Where's Fabian?" Asked Alfie.

"What's the matter with Fabian?" Asked Victor jr.

"Where is he?" Asked Alfie.

"Where Fabian is? In the hospital, of course. What do you think, wise guy, he's walking around the house if he's in a coma, well go and annoy somebody else, I've got more to do today," said Victor jr.

"No, this can't be," said Alfie, as he grabbed Victor jr.'s arm again.

"What do you think you're doing?" Asked Victor jr.

"Is Fabian really dead?" Asked Alfie.

"What are you saying?" Asked Victor jr.

"Is Fabian really dead?" Asked Alfie.

Victor Jr. once again didn't hear a word of what Alfie said and this frustrated Alfie.

"Fabian is dead!" Shouted Alfie.

Victor jr. eyes went wide. Suddenly Alfie heard the sound of something a shattering plate, coming from the kitchen. Alfie ran towards the kitchen and saw Trudy lying unconscious on the floor, surrounded with shards and potatoes next to her.
