House of Cobras:
A panicked Alfie tried pressing all the buttons to get the screen back on.
"Alfie what is going on?" Asked Patricia.
"The screen has gone out and I've lost the signal," said Alfie.
"You've to try to get it back," said Amber.
"I'm trying," said Alfie.
"Try harder," said Amber.
"Come on work, you stupid thing!" Yelled Alfie.
Alfie gave a smack on the back of the screen and it came back on and Alfie could see where Omar was.
"I did it," said Alfie.
"Good work, Alfie," said Amber.
Alfie picked up the microphone and made contact with Eddie.
"Eddie," said Alfie.
"Alfie what was going on?" Asked Eddie.
"We had some technical problems but that's fixed now," said Alfie.
"Where's Omar now, Alfie?" Asked Eddie.
"He's heading south, southwest and keeps going in that direction," said Alfie.
"Then he headed off into the woods," said Aaron.
"Okay, we'll go there now, keep an eye on him Alfie, said Eddie.
"Right, I'll get back to you as soon as there's any change," said Alfie.
Alfie set the microphone aside and watched Omar through the screen. And Nina, Aaron, Joy and Eddie got on their bikes again and headed towards the woods.
In the meantime in the cottage of Rufus Zeno. Victor Jr. grabbed a bottle of chlorophyll and put it on a cloth. Victor Jr. walked up toward Rufus's room but before he could do anything, someone grabbed his arm and shoved the cloth in his face. Victor jr. went under and the mysterious person dragged him away.
A few minutes later, Nina, Aaron, Joy and Eddie had arrived at the place where the separate from Alfie said Omar was.
"This is where it should be," said Nina.
"Here?" Asked Eddie.
"That's what Alfie saw on the screen," said Nina.
"That thing's definitely coming from the dump," said Eddie.
Nina took the walkie-talkie out of Eddie's pocket and contacted Alfie.
"Alfie are you sure it's here?" Asked Nina.
"That's what the receiver says," said Alfie.
"But Alfie there's nothing here at all," said Nina.
"Be quiet, I think I heard something," said Aaron, thinking he heard something coming their way.
"What is it?" Asked Nina.
"Listen," said Aaron.
Suddenly Nina, Joy and Eddie heard the same thing as Aaron and it sounded like a car coming. The four of them quickly hid in the bushes and saw a black van driving by.
"That's Omar's van," said Joy.
"Are you sure?" Asked Nina.
"I'm sure," said Joy.
Eddie picked up the walkie-talkie and contacted Alfie.
"Alfie is the dot on the screen still moving?" Asked Eddie.
"Not at all," said Alfie.
"The tracker doesn't work anymore," said Joy.
"Or he doesn't have the artifact with him at all," said Nina.
"Then it must be around here somewhere," said Eddie.
"We've to go that way, said Aaron, pouting in the direction where Omar was coming form
"Let's go," said Eddie.
Nina, Aaron, Joy and Eddie walked in the direction Omar's van came from. And a few minutes later they arrived at the cottage in the woods.
"This must be where it is," said Nina.
"Come," said Eddie.
The foursome walked toward the cottage. Eddie grabbed his walkie-talkie and made contact with Alfie.
"We've found a cottage in the woods, this is probably Rufus' hideout and we are going to try to get in now," said Eddie.
Alfie got a high five from Amber and Patricia. And meanwhile Nina, Aaron, Joy and Eddie walked up to the door and saw that it was open full of dynamite sticks.
"Is this some kind of burglar alarm?" Asked Eddie.
"I guess we're not the only ones trying to get in," said Joy.
Nina, Aaron, Joy and Eddie entered the cottage and started to search the place.
At the same time, Victor Jr. woke up in Rufus Zeno's bed and looked around and saw that he was all alone. Then Victor Jr. heard footsteps approaching and he did not know that it was Nina, Aaron, Joy and Eddie.
Nina, Aaron, Joy and Eddie walked through the cottage and checked every room. Then they arrived at Rufus' room and went inside. The room was empty and turned upside down.
"They were gone," said Nina.
"So where's the mini house?" Asked Aaron.
"I know it here, I've sat here," said Joy.
"Look at the floor, said Nina, with a horrifying look in her eyes.
Nina pointed to the floor and there was a gold cobra, the same gold cobra they saw when they found Fabian and KT.
"That's the cobra, we've to get out of here," said Nina.
"Not without that mini house, otherwise everything will have been for nothing," said Eddie.
"All right, said Nina.
"It was right here by Rufus' bed, said Joy.
"Search everything. We're not leaving here until we find that thing, said Eddie.
Nina, Aaron, Joy and Eddie started searching the room. Nina looked under the bed and saw the artifact and picked it up.
"The artifact, said Joy.
"And not only that, said Nina.
Nina opened her other hand and in it was the tracker
"They were on to us and escaped, said Nina.
"With the mini house," said Aaron.
"So this was all for nothing," said Joy.
"We keep looking," said Eddie.
"Why? There's no point to this anymore," said Joy.
"Maybe there's a clue as to where it is now. So keep looking," said Eddie.
The foursome continued looking for something that might lead them to the mini house.
A few minutes later and Victor Jr. was back in the house and in the cellar. Victor jr. put the bag down on the table and took out the chest with the mini house in it
"Corbierre the rescue is near," said Victor jr.
Victor jr. took the mini house out of the chest and walked towards the mirror.
"Father I've done it I have the house," said Victor jr. "Father?"
Victor jr. put the mini house against the mirror but nothing happened.
"Victor! Victor come here immediately, I won't ask you twice!" Yelled Trudy.
Victor jr. sighed, put down the mini house and walked out of the cellar. As he walked out of the cellar there appeared flashes of light in the mirror. Victor jr. walked into the kitchen where Trudy was already waiting for him.
"What is it?" Asked Victor jr.
"You're going to help me with Isaac's surprise goodbye party," said Trudy.
"A goodbye party? I've better things to do, said Victor jr.
"Like what?" Asked Trudy.
Victor Jr. didn't know what to say to that.
"That's what I thought, so you're helping with the goodbye party," said Trudy.
"Goodbye party? For who? Asked Jerome, as he, Mara and Otis entered the kitchen.
"For Isaac," said Trudy.
"Can we help?" Asked Mara.
"Sure, all help is welcome," said Trudy.
"Maybe we can use this for the party," said Jerome.
Jerome took a standee from Isaac and Trudy got a big smile on her face.
"Oh he is so perfect and handsome," said Trudy.
"Is she really swooning over a cartoon version of Isaac?" Asked Otis.
"Oh leave her alone," whispered Mara.
"Isaac can't see this yet, hide it in one of your rooms," said Trudy.
"We will," said Jerome.
Jerome took the standee up to his room and Trudy gave instructions for the party.
Back at Rufus' cottage. Nina found Rufus father's journal and that the journal had the initials GZ in gold letters. Nina flipped open journal and saw the name Gustav Zeno.
"This journal of Rufus's father," said Nina.
"Take it away, maybe we can use it," said Aaron.
Then Eddie found the copies of the files from all the girls from Anubis house. And out of KT's folder, he pulled a picture of Robert Frobisher-Smythe and Kamaria Rush.
"Check this out," said Eddie.
"But those are school files of all the girls from Anubis house," said Aaron.
"And look what I found in KT's folder," said Eddie, showing the photo.
"That's the exact same photo we found in Robert Frobisher-Smythe's diary," said Nina.
"So that's how they found out they had to have KT," said Aaron.
"Where's Joy? Asked Nina, noticing that Joy was gone.
"She was standing right here a minute ago," said Aaron.
"She's made a run for it when we weren't paying attention," said Eddie.
"Let's get out of here, too," said Nina.
Nina, Aaron and Eddie grabbed the stuff they found and left the cottage. Nina, Aaron and Eddie walked through the woods back to their bikes.
"But what are we going to do without the mini house," said Eddie.
"We need to get the new artifact as soon as possible. Without the mini house, the artifact is useless, but ...," said Aaron.
"But without the artifact, the mini house is useless," said Eddie.
"Shouldn't we be looking for Joy? It's weird that she just disappeared," said Nina.
"That's the last thing I'm worried about," said Eddie.
A few hours later and it was already night. The club was in Nina and Amber's room and were meeting.
"We unfortunately didn't manage to get the mini house back," said Eddie.
"But where do you think is it?" Asked Patricia.
"Rufus and Omar probably took it when they realized there was a tracker in the artifact," guessed Aaron.
"But then the question is, where are they? Asked Amber.
"What are we going to do with the stuff they found? Asked Nina.
"Let's think about that later. Right now, we need to think about how to get the new artifact, said Eddie.
"So to do that, we have to solve the hieroglyphics, said Patricia.
"How far are you Nina with deciphering them?" Asked Amber.
"I'm done, but I don't understand a lot of it," said Nina.
"What do we need to do?" Asked Alfie.
"I really hope I translated properly or else we have a big problem," said Nina.
"Tell me what it says," said Eddie.
"Play a little tune. Make all that is small big. For the notes of this song color all that is white red," said Nina.
"Okay, does anyone have any idea what this means?" Asked Patricia.
"We just need to make some music, sounds simple even to me," said Amber.
"But on what do we need to make this music on?" Asked Aaron.
"That crazy thing we saw in the tunnels," said Patricia.
"I was thinking about that, too," said Nina.
"But what notes are we supposed to play"? Asked Aaron.
"I saw other symbols that weren't hieroglyphics, Maybe those are the notes we need to play," said Nina.
"But what does other parts mean? Make everything small big and color everything white red," said Eddie.
"I couldn't understand that part either," said Nina.
A few minutes later. Joy had entered the house without anyone seeing her, and she walked into Aaron and Otis's room. Joy entered the room and looked at Otis' bed and saw he had fallen asleep while reading one of his comic books. Joy walked over to Otis and carefully sat on the edge of his bed. Joy picked up the comic book and put it away, she put a letter with Otis' name on it on his nightstand and took off his glasses and put it on top of the letter.
"I love you so much and wish it didn't have to be like this, I'm sorry," said Joy.
Joy turned off the light and walked towards the door and at that same moment Aaron entered the room.
"What are you doing here?" Asked Aaron.
"I wanted to see Otis," said Joy.
"Thanks for your help today," said Aaron.
"It was the least I could do," said Joy.
It went quiet, Joy looked at the bracelet on her wrist and took it off.
"Here, give this to KT," said Joy, handing Aaron the bracelet.
"What's this?" Asked Aaron.
"If KT has this bracelet on, Senkhara can't get to her," said Joy.
Aaron took the bracelet. Joy opened the door, but before she went she looked Otis's way one more time and then she left the room.
The next morning. Otis woke up and saw that Aaron was already gone. Otis grabbed his glasses from his nightstand and then he saw Joy's letter. Otis put on his glasses and grabbed the letter and started reading.
Dear Otis,
If you are reading this, I'm letting you know that I'm not coming back and that this means farewell. And I'm sorry to have to tell you this like this. I want you to know that you're my first great love and always will be. You Otis Garfield are an amazing person and fantastic boyfriend, never change who you're.
Love your Joyful.
Otis began to sob and one of his tears fell on the letter.
A few moments later and almost all the residents were in school. Aaron and Alfie were standing by their lockers. Aaron saw KT arrive and said hello to her, but she still gave him a cold shoulder. KT walked through to the girls' restroom and went inside. KT entered one of the stalls and sat down. Suddenly two hands appeared under the door and grabbed KT's ankles and started pulling on them, KT resisted.
Who was trying to grab KT and why? Will KT manage to escape from her attacker?
