"Hey, Ribbit."

The voice was lost from Izuku's ears.

"Hey!"

Izuku didn't respond.

Sighing, Tsuyu slapped Izuku, hard. With a yelp, Izuku sat up, inches away from Tsuyu's face.

Unfazed, Tsuyu nodded. "Good, you're up. Commander needs to talk to you. Make yourself scarce. Ribbit."

Izuku blushed at the close proximity. Nodding, he jumped out of the bed when she left, starting his day with stretches. His mind was buzzing with thoughts, mostly about the people in headquarters. He walked to his mother's room, knocking as he walked in.

He smiled when he saw his mother asleep on the monitor, and he walked up to her and tapped her on the shoulder.

His mother sat up, startled. "Huh? Oh, Izuku! What can I do for you, dear?" She stammered out the pet name, as if it was foreign to her.

"You needed to talk to me."

"Oh yes! That's right. Ok, follow me to the table." Izuku sweatdropped. Was she really the commander?

He sat across his mother, who still looked at him as if he was a ghost. He couldn't blame her either. After a few minutes of awkward silence, Inko cleared her throat, grabbing his attention.

"So, Izuku. I've called you here because I want to see if you know anything about All Might's lackeys." She slid a file to him, in which he noticed several pictures, many of which shocked Izuku to the core.

In the file, there were pictures of Katsuki Bakugo, Hanta Sero, Mineru Mineta, Tenya Iida, Hitoshi Shinso, Masahiro Ojiro, Kyoka Jirou, Shouto Todoroki, Itsuka Kendo, Yui Kodai, and Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu.

Seeing these faces broke his heart, and it crushed him knowing that promising heroes turned to darker sides.

However, he had to know. Where were the others? There were plenty in class 1-A and B that weren't shown in the file.

He looked to his mother. "I know everything about them. Strengths, Weaknesses, Quirks. I remember Kyoka calling me a hero otaku where I'm from."

At this point, he just accepted that he was in another world. The possibilities of time travel were still there, but Tsuyu told him that she is fifteen, so that pretty much erased any doubt of dimension jumping.

Inko looked at him, pleased. She handed him a notepad. "Please write as much as you can about them. Don't leave anything out." Izuku nodded, picking up a pen. He quickly started mumbling as he worked.

Inko smiled as she had him work. Oh, how she missed his mumbling.

Thirty minutes passed, and Izuku put the pen down. "Alright, I finished." Inko looked surprised at the amount of detail he wrote down. Not that she was complaining, information was a currency that was hard to come by. Especially since not much was currently known about what Shigaraki called "minibosses".

"Mom."

Inko looked up, an eyebrow raised.

"Where is the rest of 1-A?"

Inko's eyes looked down. "They're either with us, in Tartarus, or." Inko didn't have the heart to tell him that third option. Not looking at him.

"Or what?"

Inko looked at him, her eyes somber.

"Or. What."

"Dead, ok? Some are dead!" After looking at his astonished expression, her gaze softened. "Some students were killed by the hands of the elite. I'm sorry."

Izuku only stared at her. So this is why Tsuyu dodged the question." He looked at his mother, grasping one of her hands. "Mom, it's ok to grieve."

Inko shook her head. "I know, but now's not the time to do so. Have you eaten?" She sighed when he shook his head. "There's food in several stalls in the lobby. Help yourself." After sending him a. smile, she started reading the files.

Nodding, Izuku left the room.

He entered the main area, smiling when he noticed a table of pastries. Helping himself to a doughnut, he watched as Tsuyu walked to him.

How can this Tsuyu be so different from my Tsuyu, yet so similar?

She smiled as she sat next to him. "So, ribbit, how was personal time with the commander?" She chuckled as she watched him choke slightly on his dessert.

Izuku straightened up. "It was good. I learned more about this world, and about who's not on our side. It's disheartening to know that a couple of my best friends are now a couple of our greatest enemies."

Tsuyu croaked curiously at that. "Who were your best friends in your world?"

Izuku paused at her nonchalance at the mention of his world. "Tenya Iida, Shouto Todoroki, Ochako Uraraka, and well, you." He looked in Tsuyu's eyes as hers widened. "M-me?"

"Yeah, you were the blunt one."

She chuckled. "Yeah, that makes sense, ribbit."

A moment passed. "Hey Tsuyu?"

The frog girl turned her head.

"What happened to Ochako?" Izuku noted how stiff Tsuyu became. It was as if she stopped breathing altogether. "Tsuyu?"

The frog girl was quiet for a moment. She hopped up. "Come with me, ribbit." Izuku quickly followed her.

The duo entered a gigantic room filled with trees. Some were older than others, and Izuku spotted freshly filled holes.

He turned to Tsuyu. "What is all this?" He did not like the way her mood changed.

Tsuyu frowned. "This is the burial chamber. Every time a member of our front is killed in action, we plant their bodies in the ground, along with a seed of whatever tree they want. It's to honour their death with the promise of growth." He noticed tears flowing out of her eyes.

Izuku reached out to comfort her, but retracted his hand, deciding against it. This wasn't his world's Tsuyu.

He walked around, slowly reading the plaques in front of each tree. There were several names he didn't recognize, which meant they were quirkless soldiers or soldiers that weren't students he knew, but he did recognize names that threatened to stop his heart:

Fumikage Tokoyami

Toru Hagakure

Pony Tsunotori

Shouta Aizawa

Nemuri Kayama

Hizashi Yamada

Yoga Aoyama

Toru Hagakure

Setsuna Tokage

Ochako Uraraka

And finally:

Izuku Midoriya

He collapsed to his knees when he read his own name. It contained possibly the tallest, thickest tree in the room, and it was in the center of the room as well.

He looked at Tsuyu. "What happened to Ochako?"

Tsuyu refused to answer, opting to look away. Izuku marched to the girl, and kneeled in front of her. "What happened to her Tsu?"

Tsuyu looked at him once he called her by her nickname. She started to cry, the tears were too heavy to hold. "She was murdered in her sleep." Her voice was low, threatening to break if she spoke any louder.

Izuku stopped. His world stopped. "What?" He prayed she was kidding, wishing she was joking for once.

Her silence was all he needed.

Izuku broke down, hugging his own shoulders. "No. No. Nonononono. This can't be right. No. None of this is right!"

He stared at his late friend's tree, and screamed.

Tsuyu didn't expect the guttural cry that escaped him. She expected him to stand up and walk away, but then again, he wasn't from here. He was an alien that knew everyone.

What surprised her was his reaction to her late best friend. He didn't even react to his own name, nor anyone else's. Just hers.

Did he have a fling with her in his world?

Eventually, he stopped crying. He wiped his eyes, and walked to the frog girl. "Thank you for showing me." She nodded. This was followed by a comfortable silence. It was nice, being with someone who understood the pain of losing a friend.

Before they could continue, they were defeaned by a loud siren, and almost blinded by blaring red lights.

Izuku looked to Tsuyu, who was just as confused.

A man with red hair ran in, grabbing the two, screaming something at the duo. Tsuyu and Izuku couldn't hear anything at the moment, and Izuku just looked at his comrade, who paled.

There was one thought that took authority: Is that Kirishima?

They were taken into a hall, where Izuku's hearing returned. The man who grabbed them informed Tsuyu of what was going on and she promptly turned to the vernadette.

"We're being attacked. We have to move. Now." She hopped quickly, with Izuku following.

The two entered a room filled with what Izuku could only describe as soldiers moving back and forth, grabbing whatever weapons suited them best.

"Hey, you know what you need?"

Izuku turned and smiled when he saw the same red haired guy. "I really don't. Mind if you show me?"

The guy in front of him grinned. "Sure! I'd be happy to!" He clapped his hand on Izuku's shoulder. "The name's Eijiro Kirishima. Nice to meet you." Izuku nodded. "I'm Izuku Midoriya."

Kirishima stepped back in shock. "But, Izuku is a tree now!"

Izuku chuckled. "Long story. I'm here anyway. The commander already knows about me, so no need to worry."

Kirishima eyed him skeptically. "Alright, if you say so. Tell me the story after we're done here. What's your quirk?"

"It's called stockpile. I can use any energy I collect and add it to strength and speed. Yours is hardening. You can harden your skin to use defensively or offensively."

Kirishima blinked. "Yeah, how did you-"

"Long story."

Kirishima laughed. "Alright, now I gotta hear the story after we're done. Let's get you suited up."

From a distance, Inko briefly smiled as she watched her son befriending one of her best soldiers.

She turned back to the monitor, analysing the enemy that was making their way to them. I hope your ability is as you say it is, Izuku.

In the distant city, several men and women walked to the location they heard the villain Froppy was last seen. Leading the pack was Bakugo Katsuki, or as he was called: Ground Zero.

He received word that the villain was protecting something, or rather, someone. He had to know who this person was, and see if they had power.

Power needed to be where it belonged, which was with him and his crew.

"Ground Zero! I have something." His associate Brainwash informed him.

He growled. "What is it?" He did not like to be interrupted from his thoughts.

"We found footprints in a small neighborhood. Webbed footprints."

Ground Zero smiled. "Send me the coordinates. I'm on my way." He was excited. He'd finally kill off that amphibian once and for all!

Stepping from his thoughts, he motioned his crew to follow.

This was going to be a great day.

The crew was outside a small house. It looked modest, but Bakugo knew from experience that looks were deceiving. He could count on three hands of the amount of people that could kill him while looking innocent. Luckily, he sent them off to Tartarus already, so they weren't a threat to him.

He motioned for his crew to surround the house, and wait. "On my signal." He raised a hand.

"Now!"

"What?" The crew looked at him. That wasn't his voice.

Bakugo looked around for the sign of his voice, and heard grunts around him. He stumbled back, noting that each lackey he kept with him was on the ground, green electricity dying out.

His eyes widened when he heard gunfire. Throwing himself to a wall, he waited for the attack to end, his fingers surrounding a pin on his gauntlet.

He paused. His enemies paused. All was quiet.

Only for the wall he was in front of to be destroyed. Bakugo aimed his bracer at the attacker and pulled the pin, the explosion sent away.

He heard a chuckle. "That's not gonna do you any good, Bakugou." Bakugou snarled as he watched his ex-friend Kirishima walk to him completely unscathed.

"Shitty hair."

Kirishima snorted. "What's with the nickname? I thought we weren't friends anymore."

Bakugo screamed and sprinted at the hardening quirk user, who nimbly dodged every strike that was sent.

Meanwhile, Izuku and Tsuyu went and tied every lackey up, and took them inside. They placed the crew in a separate facility that contained a gas that inhibited quirks, rendering the men and women quirkless.

With that out of the way, the two ran outside to assist in the heated brawl. They noticed blues and purples over Kirishima, and Ground Zero had scrapes and bones broken.

Kachaan…

Froppy grew tired of watching the men fight. She leaped into the air and grabbed onto Ground Zero with her tongue, thrusting him into the ground. Deku used full cowling to speed up to the offender and punch him in the gut, and Red Riot finished the job by breaking both arms and slamming a knee into Ground Zero's torso, effectively knocking him out.

With the job finished, everyone ran inside, leaving the once quiet neighborhood silent once more.
