House of Spiders:

The mystery person saw the spider and grabbed it. Then the mystery person heard that someone was coming and got away. The residents entered the living room and sat down at the table.

"That rain came out of nowhere," said Mara.

"Thanks for jinxing us Mara," said Otis, sarcastically

"Sorry," said Mara.

"Let's just be glad that we managed most of the stuff save from the rain," said Jerome.

"Tomorrow we have to bring it back to school again," said Mara.

"Let's just hope we can find room for it," said Otis.

"Why don't you worry about that later and we just have something to eat," said Amber.

The residents started to eat the meal that Amber made. Amber looked around enthusiastically and hoped that everyone would like her food, unfortunately for her hardly anyone liked it.

"Do you like it?" Asked Amber.

"Yeah," lied Nina.

"I can cook too," said Amber.

"Well, I could eat a horse with all that dragging, then your spaghetti is also eatable," said Eddie.

"Why are you being so childish?" Asked Amber.

"I'm not being childish, I don't even like horses," said Eddie.

"Ha-ha, you made it funny," said Alfie.

"Well you tried your best Amber, and as a thank you for moving, Jerome is going to do the dishes," said Mara.

"What?' Asked Jerome.

"Along with me and Otis," said Mara.

"All right," said Otis.

"I'll help too, said Mason.

"It would really be a help if you cook to tomorrow," said Jerome.

"Okay, I'll do that," said Mason.

Mara, Jerome, Otis and Mason left the table and started doing the dishes.

"How are we gonna do it later?" Asked Nina.

"In your room?" suggested Eddie.

"And then we can see how far we get with those books," said Nina.

"Yes, but we'll need someone to stay on the lookout," said Aaron.

"Someone to scream when Victor is coming," said Amber.

"Oh, then you do it, because you can scream so well," teased Alfie.

"If you don't mind, I'm going to do a little research on Ankhesenamun," said KT.

"No, I don't mind, do what you need to do," said Aaron.

"I hope you find something," said Nina.

"So do I," said KT.

"But if you find something and it's very scary, I don't want to know," said Amber.

"If it's really scary, I won't tell you about it," said KT.

"Okay, thank you," said Amber.

"Hey, who's going to be the lookout later anyway?" Asked Alfie.

No one from the club said anything and pointed their forks at Alfie.

"That would be me," said Alfie.

"That's a good guess," said Patricia.

In the meantime in the cellar. Victor sr. had a map of the house and was studying it, trying to find another way in to the secret tunnels, but he couldn't find anything and became frustrated and broke his pencil in two.

"This is not going to work," said Victor sr.

Victor sr. walked towards the mirror and took away the canvas.

"Victor, come here," said Victor sr.

"What is it father?" Asked Victor jr.

"I've found a way to get the Mask, without having to hurt that scum, because you don't want that anyway," said Victor sr.

"How are you going to do that father?" Asked Victor jr.

"If you can't get it through the front door, you can get it through the back," said Victor sr.

"What?" Asked Victor jr.

"I'll tunnel owl, straight into the secret tunnel, straight to the Mask," said Victor sr.

"But a tunnel that takes forever to dig," said Victor jr.

"That's why I need your help," said Victor sr.

"But what can I do from here? I'm stuck here," said Victor jr.

"Surely you can do something," said Victor sr.

"What's that?" Asked Victor jr.

"Telling me where you hid the dynamite," said Victor sr.

Victor jr. was quite shocked to hear that his father was looking for dynamite and he also know that his father wasn't up to any good with it.

A few moments later, the club was in Nina and Amber's room and Alfie was in the corridor keeping watch. Alfie sat against the wall and threw a tennis ball up and down.

"Let Alfie sit outside again, because Alfie doesn't understand anything about all those difficult riddles anyway, Alfie is only good for being a lookout," complained Alfie.

Alfie threw the ball up, but it didn't come back to gang. Alfie looked up and got startled when he saw KT.

"Alfie is only good for looking out," teased KT.

"How do you know?" Asked Alfie.

"I was standing here for a while," said KT.

"Yeah, but sneaking on people, that's not fair," said Alfie.

"Sneaking up? I'm almost came walking down the hallway singing," said KT,

KT laughed, but suddenly she had flashbacks of the day she got kidnapped and saw the cobra symbol.

"Are you okay?" Asked Alfie, as he got up.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I saw..," said KT.

"You saw what?" Asked Alfie.

"Weird flashes, but I'm okay now," said KT.

"You sure?" Asked Alfie.

"Yeah, I'm fine, said KT, walking away towards the door.

"Where you going?" Asked Alfie.

"I'm gonna be downstairs on the computer," said KT.

"But why don't you use your laptop?" Asked Alfie.

"My laptop is having issues so," said KT.

KT walked away and went downstairs. Alfie sat back down and looked at Nina and Amber's door.

In the meantime in Jerome and Alfie's room, were Mara, Jerome and Otis. Jerome very carefully put a big white teddy bear down on a chair.

"It won't break, you know," said Mara.

"No, but he is one of our most precious things," said Jerome.

"I guess you're right. I've been calculating what we'll earn if we sell all this stuff," Otis.

"And?" Asked Mara.

Otis showed the calculator to Mara and Jerome and they didn't look happy.

"That's not £150,000," said Jerome.

"And certainly not a million," said Otis.

"All this work for nothing," said Mara.

"Mara, you can't say that. It wasn't for nothing," said Jerome.

"Do you really think that this going to work, Jerome? Mr. Sweet is going to lose his job and with this money we can't save a village," said Mara.

"Without us, Isaac's village would have nothing. This will at least a bit," said Jerome.

"What about Mr. Sweet?" Asked Mara.

"Mr. Sweet... I don't know, but you know what I do know?" Said Jerome.

"No, I don't," said Mara.

"That auction is going to be super, I promise you," said Jerome.

Mara gave Jerome a hug and was moved by his touch. Otis looked away and looked right at the painting that Ms. Delaney found.

"It's a really ugly painting," said Otis.

In the meantime, Alfie was still on guard and he was bored. He threw the tennis ball against the door. Amber came out of the room and the tennis ball just missed her head.

"Who? What? Where?" Asked Amber.

"Uh, nobody, it's me Super Alfie," said Alfie.

"Was Victor just here?" Asked Amber.

"No, why?" Asked Alfie.

"Then stop playing with that tennis ball," said Amber.

"How's it coming in there?" Asked Amber.

Amber got back the room in and slammed the door in Alfie face.

"No, just leave Alfie there," said Alfie.

Amber sat down on the bed Nina's bed and looked at the rest of the club.

"Nothing is wrong, the coast is still clear," said Amber.

"Right, let's get on with the riddle then," said Nina.

"Can you repeat it?" Asked Amber.

Upon the foundation on which this house rests lies the solution to the spider web test. To find the armourer and scholar's hollow, the silver thread of fate you must follow.

"I don't understand anything about it, only that we have to do something with a spider," said Patricia.

"If Fabian were here, he'd be able to figure it out in no time," said Amber.

"Without him, I'm afraid it'll take another week," said Aaron.

"And maybe even longer," said Patricia.

"This is going to take much time," said Eddie.

"Okay, maybe we should do things a little differently," suggested Nina.

"What do you mean?" Asked Patricia.

"Let's try to figure out what each word means and maybe we can come up with a solution," suggested Nina.

"I'm willing to try anything now," said Eddie.

In the meantime, KT was sitting at the computer in the living room, looking for information on Ankhesenamun.

"Ah look here is something. The order of Ankhesenamun and order that is loyal and docile to Ankhesenamun. This order does as what it wants and this order is carries its symbol, the cobra," said KT, as she read the information of the computer screen.

Suddenly a text appeared on the screen.

The Order of Ankhesenamun will destroy the Frobisher-Smythe family, her curse will destroy them.

And after the text disappeared a golden cobra appeared on the screen and KT was startled. KT got more flashbacks and also about the cobra.

Back in Nina and Amber's room. The club was still trying to solve the riddle.

"This makes no sense," said Eddie.

"Maybe we should ask someone who can help us," suggested Patricia.

"So who can help us with this?' Asked Amber.

"Maybe Fabian's uncle," suggested Aaron.

"That's not a bad idea," said Patricia.

"Wait, I think I know what the riddle is," said Nina.

"Really, Nina?" Asked Amber.

"It's a long shot," said Nina.

"Okay, tell us," said Eddie.

"The riddle says Upon the foundation on which this house rests," said Nina.

"Yeah, we know that by now," said Eddie.

"Robert Frobisher-Smythe's father built this house," said Nina.

"Yes, everyone here knows that, Nina, we don't have time for a history lesson right now," said Eddie.

"Now be quiet and listen to her," said Patricia.

"Later, Robert Frobisher-Smythe named the house Anubis," said Nina.

"So maybe we can find what we're looking for with something to do with the Frobisher-Smythe," said Aaron.

"Everything in this house has to do with the Frobisher-Smythe," said Patricia.

"Usually there's something special about someone who makes something," said Amber.

"What do you mean, Amber?" Asked Nina.

"Well, so my father's company was off course made by my father and in the main hall of his company there is a big painting of him," said Amber.

"That's it," said Nina.

"What is it?" Asked Patricia.

"The painting," said Nina.

"The painting of my father?" Asked Amber.

"No, of the Frobisher-Smythe couple," said Nina.

"Do you think that's where the clue is?" Asked Aaron.

"I'm not sure, but it makes sense," said Nina.

"Let's take a chance, that's all we've got," said Eddie.

Suddenly, Alfie came bursting into the room.

"Okay, I've been lookout long enough now can someone else go?" Asked Alfie.

"Yes must keep an eye out for Victor, Alfie," said Amber.

"Trust me Amber, nobody is at the door," said Alfie.

Suddenly there was a loud knock at the door. The club ran to the door and opened it and all saw a large silver spider on the floor.

"A spider!" Yelled Amber.

"Is this what we are looking for?" Asked Patricia.

"This is from the mysterious helper," said Aaron.

"Come, let's go look for the helper,' said Nina.

The club ran out of the room and went to find the mysterious helper. The club checked all the bedrooms and the bathroom, but the they couldn't find the helper.

"Hurry let's go downstairs," said Nina.

"Quickly!" Shouted Amber.

The club ran downstairs as fast as they could to go look and hopefully find the mysterious helper.

"We've to hurry up," said Eddie.

"You boys check all the rooms, then we'll check the garden. Amber, Patricia, come with me," said Nina.

"But it's raining," complained Amber.

"Amber," said Patricia.

Amber ran after Nina and Patricia out the door. Eddie checked all the bedroom, Alfie the kitchen and Aaron the living room.

"No one is here," said Alfie.

"No one here either," said Aaron.

Aaron turned around to find KT lying unconscious on the living room floor.

What happened to KT? Was it the order of Ankhesenamun, who had made their move? And will the club be able to find the mysterious helper?
