House of Apologies:

Otis rushed over to Victor Sr. and at that same moment Aaron, KT and Trudy came running into the garden, after hearing the explosion.

"What was that? And bomb?" Asked Trudy.

"Help me out here come on," said Otis.

"Yeah," said Aaron, as he walked over to Otis.

"All right, on three," said Otis.

Otis counted down but before he could finish, Victor Sr. regained consciousness and threw off chair himself. Victor sr. got up and walked back to the house.

"Victor what happened?" Asked Trudy, following Victor sr. back to the house.

"What happened?" Asked Aaron.

"I don't know, I arrived and I see that Victor wants to start blowing things up," said Otis.

"He's going crazy. Bombs," said Aaron.

"Aaron," said KT.

"What's the next step? Is he going to drive a tank through the garden here," said Aaron.

"Aaron," said KT.

KT fainted and Aaron and Otis were able to catch her just in time.

Back at school, Nina and Amber were at their lockers and were putting away some books.

"Where is Aaron? Asked Nina.

"No idea, he was there this morning, but I didn't see him in class," said Amber.

"Strange," said Nina.

"I'll ask Alfie, he was with him this morning," said Amber.

"All right," said Nina.

Amber closed her locker and went to find Alfie. Mason walked down the hallway and approached Nina.

"Hi," said Mason.

"Hey Mason," said Nina.

"Are you okay?" Asked Mason.

"Yeah, I'm fine," said Nina. "How are you?"

"I'm good," said Mason.

"Good to hear that," said Nina.

"I wanted to ask about yesterday," said Mason.

"Yesterday?" Asked Nina.

"Yes, you were upset and you were saying something about Fabian," said Mason.

"I was just very tired, I had spoken to Fabian's mother earlier that night," said Nina.

"Oh, then I understand you were a little upset," said Mason.

"Yeah," said Nina.

"But if there's anything you can always come to me, I'm here for you," said Mason.

"That's sweet of you," said Nina.

"It's just who I'm," said Mason.

"And if anything bothers you, you can always come to me," said Nina.

"Thank you, Nina," said Mason.

"Class is about to start, wanna walk to class together?" Asked Nina.

"Sure thing," said Mason.

Nina closed her locker and went with Mason to the next class.

Back at the house. Aaron and Otis had taken KT back to her room. KT lay down in her bed and Aaron put the covers over her.

"Everything is spinning," said KT.

"I think we'd better call a doctor," said Otis.

"I think it's better if it's just the two of us, we'll be fine," said Aaron.

"Sorry, I just wanted to help," said Otis.

"It's okay, Otis. I know you meant well," said Aaron.

"I hope you feel better soon," said Otis.

Otis left KT's room. Aaron sat down on the edge of KT's bed and held her hand.

"It really does happen too often now," said KT.

"Just lie there for a while, don't move," said Aaron.

"What if I fall down and don't come back up, what then?" Asked KT.

"That won't happen, not while I'm here," said Aaron.

"I'm scared Aaron," said KT.

"I'm going to fix this. I'm going to get you better," said Aaron.

Aaron kissed KT's hand and left her room. Aaron walked downstairs and was about to leave the house, until Victor sr. suddenly stood next to him.

"What do you want from me?" Asked Aaron.

'You want something and I want something," said Victor sr.

"I don't know what you're talking about," said Aaron.

"We both want the same thing. The Mask of Anubis. And with Mask you can get the Tears of Gold and there are enough tears for the two of us, if you work with me," said Victor sr.

"You know Victor that's actually a very good idea," said Aaron.

"Smart of choice of you boy," said Victor sr.

"But if I didn't know better I would have fallen for it," said Aaron.

Aaron opened the front door and left the house and returned to school.

A few moments later at school, Mara, Jerome and Otis were putting away the stuff for the auction, while Otis told the story to Mara and Jerome.

"He regains consciences, throws off that chair, gets up, and without saying a word he walks away," said Otis.

"That guy is totally insane," said Jerome.

"And the stuff for the auction?" Asked Mara.

"Most of it's undamaged, so it'll be fine," said Otis.

Suddenly Otis felt his phone go off, he picked it up and walked out of the room.

"Fortunately, not all of the items were damaged," said Jerome.

"Yeah, but a few, still are," said Mara.

"Victor is really losing it right now," said Jerome.

"I can't believe he went this far," said Mara.

"Let's not worry about the guy and focus on the auction," said Jerome.

"Pack it all up, because nobody's interested," said Otis, as he entered the room.

"What about the newspaper guy?" Asked Mara.

"He's called all over the place, but it's just not special enough," said Otis.

"All of this for nothing," said Mara.

"Now Shepard gets his way," said Jerome.

"You guys shouldn't worry so much. Those people in Kenya are crying out for help, said Mr. Sweet, as he entered the room.

"Now, about that," said Mara.

"So whether I stay or go, we're gonna help those people," said Mr. Sweet.

"If we be able to help at all, they need £150,000," said Otis.

"And what we have here in the classroom is not worth £150,000," said Jerome.

"Let me say something to you," said Mr. Sweet.

"Mr. Sweet I don't think one of your poems if going to help right now," said Jerome.

"I'm proud of you children," said Mr. Sweet.

"You're proud?" Asked Jerome.

"Yeah, I've never seen you guys fight so hard for anything and so that makes me incredibly proud, whatever the outcome. And every little bit helps," said Mr. Sweet.

"Thank you very much, sir," said Mara.

"You guys go home and continue tomorrow," said Mr. Sweet.

Mara, Jerome and Otis packed up their things and left the room. Mr. Sweet sat down and looked around. Then Mr. Sweet saw the painting and grabbed it and looked at it closely.

"This can't be," said Mr. Sweet.

Mr. Sweet took a handkerchief from his pocket and began to clean a corner of the painting.

A few moments later and all the Anubis residents were back in the house and had just had eaten their dinner. The club had gathered in Nina and Amber's room.

"Why did we have to come here?" Asked Alfie.

"Patricia wanted to discuss something with us," said Nina.

Patricia and Eddie entered the room and sat down with the rest of the club.

"Glad you're all here," said Eddie.

"What do you want?" Asked Amber.

"Amber let him speak," said Patricia.

"I just wanted to say I'm sorry," said Eddie.

"What are you sorry exactly?" Asked Alfie.

"Alfie I'm sorry I put you in danger and Nina I'm sorry for what I said yesterday about that thing with Fabian," said Eddie.

"But it's not just what happened to Alfie or what you said about Fabian," said Amber.

"No, I didn't act like a team player and I needed to be," said Eddie.

"It's more than that, you've been rude to everyone at the club from the start and now you think sorry makes everything okay," said Amber.

"Amber, he does his best to apologize," said Patricia.

"No, never mind Patricia, let her say this, because she's right," said Eddie.

"I think it's brave of you to say this," said Alfie.

"I'm not brave, I'm a coward," said Eddie.

"And why do you think you're a coward?" Asked Nina.

"Because I'm scared, That's why I acted the way I did," said Eddie.

"We're all scared, Eddie, but we didn't act like incredible jerks," said Amber.

"The only reason I acted the way I did is so you guys wouldn't see that I was scared," said Eddie.

"So you rather have that we hate you?" Asked Amber.

"No, of course not," said Eddie.

"It's understandable that this is scary and that you're scared, because this is a scary situation that we're all in," said Nina.

"I'm very sorry for my actions and I'm truly, truly sorry for everything," said Eddie.

"I forgive you," said Nina.

"So do I," said Aaron.

"It's okay dude," said Alfie.

"Amber?" Asked Eddie.

"I still think you're a jerk," said Amber.

"I feel a but coming on," said Eddie.

"But I don't think you're an incredible jerk anymore," said Amber.

"I call that progress," said Patricia.

"Now let's really focus on the task," said Nina.

"Yeah," said Eddie.

"Am I interrupting you guys?" Asked KT, as she peaked her head in the room.

"No, of course not come sit with me," said Aaron.

"How are you feeling?" Asked Nina.

"A little better," said KT, as she sat down next to Aaron.

"KT I just want to say I'm really sorry," said Eddie.

"What are you sorry for?" Asked KT.

"You're going through a really rough time right now with what you found out and I was being heartless about it, I'm sorry for that," said Eddie.

"You're forgiven," said KT.

"Thank you," said Eddie.

"But I don't think you come here to just sit for the fun," said Patricia.

"No, this isn't a visit for the fun," said KT.

"Alfie told us you discovered something about the Order," said Nina.

"Yes, they really exist," said KT.

"How do you know that?" Asked Amber.

"The car accident that killed my great-grandfather and his wife was no accident," said KT.

"How did you find out?" Asked Nina.

KT took the newspaper article out of her pocket and handed the article and a magnifying glass to Nina.

"There in the corner, on the car," said KT.

Nina looked at the newspaper article with the magnifying glass and then saw the cobra symbol on the car.

"But that's the cobra," said Nina.

"What? No way!" Said Amber, as she took the magnifying glass from Nina and looked at the article.

"So they were killed by the Order?" Asked Patricia.

'Yeah, and now they're after me," said KT.

"Are you sure about that? I mean, nobody outside the mystery knows that you're the great granddaughter of Robert Frobisher-Smythe," said Amber.

"They already know, who I'm. They tried to attack me at school," said KT.

"Oh, that's right," said Amber.

"That would mean that Sarah was right, Her parents' death was no accident," said Nina.

"But she always thought Victor's father was behind it," said Patricia.

"It wasn't Victor's father, it was the Order," said Nina.

"Rufus's father suspions were right," said Eddie.

"What am I gonna do? I don't feel safe anymore," said KT.

"I promised you I'd take care of this, I'm gonna make sure the Order can't hurt you," said Aaron.

"Well, how? Your life is at stake too, if you don't give that Senkhara the Mask of Anubis," said KT.

"So apparently we're good at making enemies as a club, Victor, Rufus and Omar, Raven and Vera and now we've that order after us," said Alfie.

"Alfie this is not helping right now," said Patricia.

"I'm sorry," said Alfie.

"I do have to tell you something about Victor," said Aaron.

"What about him?" Asked Nina.

"He tried to persuade me to work with him," said Aaron.

"You didn't go for this, did you?" Asked Amber.

"No, of course not," said Aaron.

"He's desperate, because he knows we're getting closer to the mask and he can't do anything right now," said Nina.

"That's why I think he tried to blow up the garden," said Alfie.

"That's extreme, even for Victor," said Amber.

"A desperate man is capable of many things," said Patricia.

"What are we gonna do now?" Asked Eddie.

"We're going to sleep now, tomorrow after school we're going to train for the task and that same night we're going to do the task and get the next artifact," said Nina.

"Sounds like a good plan," said Eddie.

"Everybody agrees with this?" Asked Nina.

"Sibuna," said Alfie, while he did the Sibuna gesture.

"Sibuna," said the rest of the club, while they did the Sibuna gesture.

The next day went over quickly. The club had gone to school, they had been practicing for the taks. But before the club went to the tunnels, they had gathered in Nina and Amber's room.

"Are you all ready?" Asked Nina.

"Yes," said the club.

"Amber and Alfie you come with us and help us out," said Nina.

"Don't worry, have no fear, when Super Alfie is near," said Alfie.

"And what are we going to do about Victor?" Asked Patricia.

"I've an idea, if I may share it with you?" Asked Eddie.

"Tell us your idea Eddie," said Nina.

"If Victor goes into his office later, we'll lock him up," said Eddie.

"And how would you do that?" Asked Amber.

"We'll just put a big lock on his door that only we have the key to," said Eddie.

"It may be the only way to keep Victor from being a threat to us," said Aaron.

"So I get to carry out my plan?" Asked Eddie.

"Yes," said Nina.

"Cool," said Eddie.

"Let's go for it," said Nina.

The club did the Sibuna gesture and moved into action. Eddie snuck towards Victor's office and cautiously looked in and saw that he was asleep. Eddie hung the lock on Victor's door and locked it. Eddie went to gang and walked towards the kitchen. But what Eddie didn't realize was that not Victor sr. was in the office, but that there was nothing more than a doll in the office.

"And?" Asked Patricia.

"Victor is sleeping in his office and now with the lock he's not going anywhere for a while," said Eddie.

"All right," said Alfie.

"Let's go pass that task," said Nina.

Nina grabbed her locket and opened the secret passageway and the club entered. But the club did not realize, that they were being watched by Victor sr.

Now Victor sr. not only knew about the secret passageway, he also knew what the club was planning. What is going to happen now? Will the club pass the test this time? Or will Victor sr. outsmart them and get the artifact in his hands?
