House of The Past:
Victor Sr. could not believe his eyes. How could he possibly be in the attic.
"What is the meaning of this? This must be a trick of Frobisher-Smythe, it has to be," said Victor sr.
Victor Sr. walked out of the room and locked the cellar door.
"If it can't be done through the door, then it has to be done differently," said Victor sr.
In the meantime, Mara, Jerome and some of their fellow students were busy bringing the last things for the auction back to school.
"You two better get that thing, because that thing is very heavy," said Mara.
"It's coming along nicely," said Jerome.
Victor Sr. walked into the garden with his shovel and he didn't seem very happy that the garden was still full of stuff.
"What are you doing here? To dig up bombs?" Joked Jerome.
Victor sr. threw the shovel away and walked up to someone who was trying to lift something. Victor sr. threw the boy aside and lifted the item with ease.
"Don't linger like that stupid creatures, hurry up," said Victor sr.
"What a terrible...," said Mara, but before she could finish her sentence Jerome covered her mouth with his hand.
"Convenient way to get rid of stuff," said Jerome.
In the meantime, the club and KT were in Nina and Amber's room.
"Okay, well what do we have left?" Asked Patricia.
"The mini house, the map and the artifact are gone," said Eddie.
"In other words, we have nothing," said Aaron.
"So what do we do now?" Asked Nina.
"Protect KT," said Amber.
"Yeah, we can't let her out of our sight for another second," said Aaron.
"And what else?" Asked Nina.
"Follow Victor, I will do that," said Alfie.
"Nice to take one for the team Alfie," said Patricia.
"Yeah, but that means you can't go to the auction this afternoon," said Nina.
"Yeah, I figured," said Alfie.
"The most important thing now is to get to the cellar, we have to get the Mask before Victor does," said Nina.
"I just hope we're not too late," said Amber.
"If I hadn't been so stupid, we could've already had it," said Eddie.
"Look, Eddie, it was a good plan. It's not your fault," said Patricia.
"It has happen, but we're the Sibuna Club, we're a team and only as a team can we fix this, together," said Nina.
"We've nothing, no artifact, so no clue," said Eddie.
"So we'll go clueless. And we've got this," said Nina.
Nina pulled out her key.
"The key to the past, is the gateway to the future, that's what Sarah said to me when she gave it to me," said Nina.
"What does that mean?" Asked Amber.
"I don't know, but I'm gonna see if I can find out anything about the key," said Nina.
"I'm gonna find out where 'Victor the Terrible' is," said Alfie.
"I'm going too," said KT.
"Where are you going?" Asked Aaron.
"To school," said KT.
"What for?" Asked Aaron.
"I'm going to the auction," said KT.
"But we just agreed not to let you out of our sight for a second, I won't let you go alone," said Aaron.
"I'm not alone. There are others at the auction. Jerome, Otis, Trudy," said KT.
"Yeah, but they don't know what's going on with you. Nobody from the club is there," said Aaron.
"Aaron, I think I'm safer there. The order can't touch me if I'm surrounded by people," said KT.
"She's got a point there," said Amber.
"Okay, but promise me if you don't feel good or safe to call me," said Aaron.
"Aaron, come on," said KT.
"Promise me," said Aaron.
"Okay, I promise," said KT.
"Good," said Aaron.
"I'm gonna go now," said KT.
KT gave Aaron a kiss on the cheek and walked out of the room.
A few moments later, Nina was sitting at the computer in the living room, trying to find information about the key. Mason walked into the living room and Nina quickly turned off the computer.
"Hi," said Nina.
"Hi," said Mason.
"Are you practicing to be sniper or something?" Joked Nina.
"Uh no, I was just wondering if you're going to the auction too," said Mason.
"I don't know, I have other things on my mind right now," said Nina.
"Is it something bad?" Asked Mason.
"No, it's no big deal, I just don't have time to go to the auction," said Nina.
"Okay, too bad you're not going," said Mason.
"Yes," said Nina.
"And like I said to you before, if something's bothering you, you can always come to me," said Mason.
"I know," said Nina.
Mason nodded his head and was about the leave the living room.
"Mason," said Nina.
"Yeah," said Mason, as he turned around.
"I was a little bummed after the petting zoo," said Nina.
"The petting zoo without the monkeys," joked Mason.
"Yeah, that's the one," said Nina.
"That was a lot of fun," said Mason.
"Yes, but you left so quickly and then so soon after Fabian, I don't know," said Nina.
"Oh," said Mason.
"I guess I couldn't stand it when friends disappear again," said Nina.
"Friends? Really?" Asked Mason.
"Yes, we're friends," said Nina.
Mason got a big smile on his face and ran over to Nina. He picked her up and gave her a big hug.
"Mason," said Nina.
"Yeah," said Mason.
"You can let go of me, I need to back to what I was doing," said Nina.
"Oh yeah, sorry, I'll see you soon," said Mason, as he put Nina back.
"Yeah," said Nina.
"Friends?" Asked Mason.
"Friends," said Nina.
"Okay," said Mason.
Mason walked out of the living room with a big smile. Nina sat down at the computer herself with a big smile and continued her research on the key.
In the meantime, Aaron was still in Nina and Amber's room. Amber walked into the room with two glasses of orange juice.
"Here you go my dear twin brother, fresh vitamins," said Amber as she gave Aaron one of the glasses.
"Thank you," said Aaron.
"Don't worry about KT," said Amber.
"Don't tell not to be worried. You would worry too if the person you love was in danger," said Aaron.
"KT is safe at school and nothing can happen to her," said Amber.
"She should be safe here, but still bad things are happing to her here," said Aaron.
"The order won't hurt her if she's surrounded by people," said Amber.
"Can you guarantee that?" Asked Aaron.
"No, unfortunately not," said Amber.
"I just have to protect her from the Order," said Aaron.
"You're not alone in this, we're going to protect her as a club," said Amber.
"Aren't you afraid?" Asked Aaron.
"Of course I'm afraid of that scary Order, but the love for my brother and my friends is stronger, than my fear of the order," said Amber.
"You are the best twin sister out there," said Aaron.
"You only have one," said Amber.
"That makes you automatically the best," said Aaron.
"Know that I will always be there for you Aaron," said Amber.
"I'll always be there for you, too, sis," said Aaron.
In the meantime at the villa. Fabian was dreaming about the day KT was kidnapped. He remembered lifting KT out of the cellar and then someone came in and he was poked by something and then he clearly saw Geoffrey's face in front of him. Fabian woke up from his dream.
"Take it easy, it was just a dream," said Geoffrey.
"It was you, I saw you," said Fabian.
"Here, that will make you sleep better," said Geoffrey.
Geoffrey put a pill in Fabian's mouth and Fabian closed his eyes. Caroline entered the room and walked over to her husband.
"And how is the progress going?" Asked Caroline.
"We're heading in the right direction," said Geoffrey.
"Good, then we can move on to phase two," said Caroline.
"And that will be soon, my darling," said Geoffrey.
"And what about girl? Asked Caroline.
"The girl will be taking care off, she'll be getting new doses of the poison soon, said Geoffrey.
"And when she's had the new doses? Asked Caroline.
"It won't be long then, said Geoffrey.
"That's great, said Caroline.
Caroline and Geoffrey went to the window and looked out. Fabian opened his eyes and looked at Caroline and Geoffrey and saw on their forearms the sign of cobra. Caroline and Geoffrey turned around and Fabian quickly closed his eyes. Caroline and Geoffrey walked out of the room, once they were out of the room Fabian took the pill out of his mouth and hid it under his pillow.
A few moments later at school. Mara and Jerome were in the classroom and Mr. Sweet and Ms. Delaney walked up.
"Sorry for all the chaos," said Mara.
"Yes, we really have way too much stuff," said Jerome.
"Oh, well, if we try hard enough, we'll be finished this afternoon," said Mr. Sweet.
"Do you really think we can sell it all, Eric?" Asked Ms. Delaney.
"Of course, my sweetest my dearest," said Mr. Sweet.
"Mr. Sweet," said Mara.
"Yes, Mara," said Mr. Sweet.
"It may be a little short notice, but actually you're opening the auction as an honorary guest," said Mara.
"I didn't think about that at all. I don't know if I'll be back in time," said Mr. Sweet.
"Back? Back from where?" Asked Ms. Delaney.
"An appointment," said Mr. Sweet.
"But today is such an important day, why are you making an appointment today of all days?" Asked Ms. Delaney.
"I couldn't reschedule it, but I will try to be on time, said Mr. Sweet as he walked out of the room.
"Eric, wait up," said Ms. Delaney.
Ms. Delaney walked out of the room and went after Mr. Sweet. Otis entered the room and sat down and let out a deep sigh.
"Oh no," said Jerome.
"What's gone wrong now?" Asked Mara.
"Two newspapers and the local news are coming to the auction this afternoon," cheered Otis.
"Really?" Asked Mara.
"Yes," said Otis.
"That's great news, said Jerome, as he gave Otis a high five.
"I had to call them 20 times, but they're coming," said Otis.
"Great," said Mara.
"But how did the stuff get here so fast?" Asked Otis.
"Victor," said Jerome.
"Victor?" Asked Otis.
"Victor," said Mara.
Back in the house. Victor sr. was in the garden digging a hole to get into the tunnels. Trudy entered the garden and walked straight to Victor sr.
"Victor what are you doing now?" Asked Trudy.
"I'm digging a hole," said Victor sr.
"Yes, and that has to be in my garden?" Asked Trudy.
"Don't you have anything better to do?" Asked Victor sr.
"This is just not normal anymore," said Trudy.
"Feeding your cardboard boyfriend cups of tea, talking to the ghost of your dead goldfish," said Victor sr.
"Inhuman, brutal, said Trudy.
Trudy ran whimpering back into the house. Alfie who was hiding in the bushes the whole time had seen it all. Alfie did not have a good feeling when he saw that Victor sr. was digging a pit.
In the meantime, Patricia and Eddie came out of Eddie's room and they ran into Nina in the hallway, who was about to go upstairs.
"Nina, may we have a word with you?" Asked Patricia.
"Yeah, sure," said Nina.
"I was thinking, maybe we could go to the cellar and take a look at the tunnels," said Eddie.
"You want to go to the tunnels now?" Asked Nina.
"Yeah, to see what the new task is," said Eddie.
"But we don't know what to do," said Nina.
"So do I, but if we can see what's in the chamber, then maybe we have a little idea of what we're up against," said Eddie.
"And that could work to our advantage," said Patricia.
"If you don't think it's a good idea, just say it," said Eddie.
"I actually think it's a good idea, said Nina.
"Come on, let's go," said Eddie.
Nina, Patricia and Eddie walked to the kitchen and saw that no one was there. Nina walked over to the oven and put her locket on the imprint, but nothing happens.
"Hurry up, open the passageway before Trudy or anyone else comes, said Patricia.
"I'm trying, but it won't open, said Nina.
"What do you mean? Asked Eddie.
"I can't get the passageway open, said Nina.
"'How can that possible?" Asked Eddie.
"I don't know," said Nina.
"Then we have to go through the cellar door. I'm gonna see if I can find a bolt cutter," said Eddie.
"Or we could use Alfie's CSI kit, he's got one of those break-in sets," said Patricia.
"I don't care how we do it, as long as we can get the cellar door open," said Eddie.
Nina, Patricia and Eddie walked out of the kitchen and headed for Alfie's room, at which point Alfie came running down the corridor and towards them.
"Guys Victor is digging a hole and from the looks of it heading towards China, he's almost there, said Alfie.
"Digging a hole? But why?" Asked Nina.
"Let him dig, at least he will be gone," said Eddie.
"If we get through the door," said Nina.
"Why don't we go through the secret passageway?" Asked Alfie.
"We'll explain later," said Patricia.
"But you have the key to the present and the past, can't you use it?" Joked Alfie.
Nina put her hands on her neck and felt that the key was gone.
"I lost it," said Nina.
"What?" Asked Eddie.
"I've lost the key," said Nina.
Where is the key to the present and the past? Could someone have stolen it? And is it still possible that Nina can no longer access the secret passageway?
