House of Fears:
Nina couldn't believe her eyes when she saw Sarah standing in front of her.
"Sarah is that really you?" Asked Nina.
"Yes it's really me, my dear," said Sarah.
"What are you doing here? When you gave me the key you said it would be the last time I would ever see you," said Nina.
"You're close to find the Mask of Anubis, so I'm here to give you something that's going to help you," said Sarah.
"Like a spare key, That would be great," said Eddie.
"No, but I do have this for you," said Sarah.
Sarah made a ring and bracelet appear and she gave them to Nina and Eddie.
"These are the Ring of Asenath and the Bracelet of Gyasi," said Sarah.
"What are we supposed to do with these?" Asked Nina.
"These belonged to our predecessors, Asenath was the first Chosen One and Gyasi was the first Osirian," said Sarah.
"I still don't understand what to do with this ring and bracelet," said Nina.
"This ring and bracelet were made by Osiris and Isis so that Asenath and Gysai could defeat Senkhara," said Sarah.
"You mean with this ring and bracelet we can get rid of Senkhara without giving the mask to her?" Asked Nina.
"Senkhara must never get her hands on the Mask of Anubis," said Sarah.
"And you're sure this will work?" Asked Eddie.
"You must find that out for yourselves, it is now your job as the Chosen One and Osirian to defeat her for once and all," said Sarah.
"How do you know I am the Osirian?" Asked Eddie.
"I just know that, just as I knew that Nina is the Chosen One," said Sarah.
"Who was your Osirian, Sarah?" Asked Nina.
"Rufus," said Sarah.
"Rufus? No way, he is on the side of evil," said Eddie.
"He's fallen into evil ways, but deep down I know that there is some good left in him, just like I know that there is some good left in Victor," said Sarah.
"Thank you, Sarah," said Nina.
"Defeat Senkhara and restore balance to the world," said Sarah.
Sarah vanished again. And Amber, Aaron, Patricia and Alfie came out of their petrified state.
"Did something happen?" Asked Amber.
"I feel a little weird," said Aaron.
"What's going on?" Asked Patricia.
"Yes, how shall I explain?" Asked Eddie.
"You know what happened?" Asked Patricia.
"The four of you were kind of petrified," said Eddie.
"Petrified?" Asked Alfie.
"Yeah," said Eddie.
"Why were we petrified?" Asked Aaron.
"I don't know why Sarah did that," said Nina.
"Sarah?" Asked Amber.
"Yes, Sarah came by for me and Eddie," said Nina.
"Okay, what else did we miss?" Asked Alfie.
"Sarah appeared and offered her help," said Nina.
"Did she give you another key?" Asked Amber.
"No, but she did give you this," said Nina.
Nina and Eddie showed the ring and bracelet to the club.
"According to Sarah, this can help us get rid of Senkhara," said Nina.
"Really?" Asked Amber.
"Well, we don't know for sure, of course, but she said so," said Nina.
The club couldn't believe their ears and Nina and Eddie told the rest of the story.
In the meantime at school, the auction was about to start. Jerome and Otis were doing a final check, Mara came running down the hallway with a lot of stress.
"He stood us up," said Mara.
"Who? Sweetie?" Asked Jerome.
"Our auction master, yeah and Sweetie. He knows he's getting fired, so maybe he already left," said Mara.
"And what do we do if we don't find a new auction master in the time we have left?" Asked Jerome.
"Then we'll have to find someone else," said Mara.
"Yeah, who?" Asked Jerome.
Mara said nothing and pointed at Jerome,
"Me?" Asked Jerome.
"Yes," said Mara.
"No, not going to happen, no way," said Jerome.
"How about you Otis? Asked Mara.
"I can't do it, because I've… because I've to make a phone call," said Otis, as he grabbed his phone and walked away.
"Okay, then I will do it," said Mara.
"Good idea," said Jerome.
"But I'm already so nervous," said Mara.
"You're gonna do great," said Jerome.
KT and Trudy walked in and they walked over to Mara and Jerome.
"Hi my sweeties," said Trudy.
"Trudy, KT," said Mara.
"I've a feeling this going to a success, there are a lot of people here," said KT.
At the same time Isaac walked up the Mara and Jerome.
"Uncle Isaac," said Mara.
"Hello Mara, Jerome," said Isaac.
"I thought you left for Kenya," said Jerome.
"Yes, but I came back for the auction," said Isaac.
Otis came walking up and joined the others, only he didn't look very happy.
"Otis, look who's here," said Mara.
"Yes and he's not the only one who came," said Otis.
Mara and Jerome turned in the direction Otis was looking and saw Mr. Shepard standing in the hallway. Mr. Shepard picked up a figurine and threw the piece on the ground.
"I really hate that guy," said Otis.
Back in the house. Nina and Eddie had told the club everything and now the club had to focus on finding the key.
"Okay, where did you last have it?" Asked Alfie.
"I last had it in the living room," said Nina.
"Okay, and where else did you go?" Asked Alfie.
"The kitchen, the hallway and the bedroom," said Nina.
"So that basically everywhere in the house," said Alfie.
"Yeah," said Nina.
"We have to go and now!" Said Eddie.
"I know," said Nina.
"Think, where's that key?" Asked Eddie.
"I last had it in the living room," said Nina.
"I don't wanna know where you last had it, I wanna know where it is now," said Eddie.
'I don't know where it is," said Nina.
"Think about it," said Eddie.
"I'm thinking," said Nina.
"Then think harder," said Eddie.
"Eddie, calm down," said Patricia.
"No, even now we have that jewelry that can defeat Senkhara, if Victor gets his hands on the Mask before we do, that isn't a good outcome either, said Eddie.
"I'm really trying my best Eddie, said Nina.
"Where is that key! Yelled Eddie.
"I don't know, said Nina.
Nina started to cry and Amber comforted her. At the same time Mason walked down the stairs and saw Nina crying.
"Hey what's going on here?" Asked Mason.
"Why are you here?" Asked Eddie.
"I don't know if this is the right time, but I think I found something that belongs to you," said Mason.
Mason pulled something out of his pocket and it was key of the present and past.
"I found it downstairs," said Mason.
Mason gave the key back to Nina. Nina got a smile on her face and gave Mason a hug.
"Thank you, You couldn't have picked a better time," said Nina.
"You're welcome," said Mason.
"Thank you," said Nina.
Mason walked toward the front door and left the house. The club headed toward Nina and Amber's room.
"Okay, we've the key now so we can go do the task," said Nina.
"The task where we have to overcome our fears," said Aaron.
"What do you think awaits us?" Asked Patricia.
"I don't know, Patricia, I just know that this is going to be hardest task we are going to face," said Nina.
"I don't like any task, but I like this one the least," said Amber.
"I'm not really looking forward to it, because I'll probably see skulls," said Nina.
"I'm definitely not a fan of porcelain dolls," said Aaron.
"I get scared in small spaces," said Alfie.
"I may look tough, but I hate clowns," said Patricia.
"I don't like butterflies," said Eddie.
"Butterflies?" Asked Aaron.
"They fly weird," said Eddie.
"I've quite a lot of fears, I don't even know what I'll encounter," said Amber.
"And if we wanna reach the Mask of Anubis, we must overcome our fears," said Nina.
"And we'll do that together, we'll pull each other through, we'll help each other overcome our fears," said Eddie.
"Sibuna," said Aaron, while he did the Sibuna gesture.
"Sibuna," said the rest of the club, while they did the Sibuna gesture.
"Now let's go get that Mask," said Eddie.
"Wait I gotta change," said Amber.
"Amber we don't have time here right now," said Eddie.
"But Alfie does have his mission outfit on," said Amber.
"I put it on earlier when I went to spy on Victor," said Alfie.
"Just give me a minute and I'll be right there," said Amber.
"Amber," said Nina.
But Amber didn't listen and kicked the club out of the room.
"Seriously Amber, we're going on the most important mission right now and you are worried about your outfit," said Aaron.
"Exactly, this is the most important mission, so I've to wear my mission outfit," said Amber.
"Does she really have to come with us? Can't we just go without her?" Asked Eddie.
"That's what I heard," said Amber.
"That was the idea," said Eddie.
"Come on guys, don't argue right now," said Nina.
A few moments later, Amber came out of the room dressed in her camouflage outfit.
"I'm ready now," said Amber.
"Let's go now," said Eddie.
The club walked towards the attic door. Nina grabbed the key from her pocket.
"The key to the past is the gateway to the future. If the attic leads to the cellar, then this should lead us to the cellar," said Nina.
Nina stuck the key in the keyhole and turned the key. Nina took out the key and then the bright light appeared. The club, except for Nina covered their eyes.
"Stay calm, we have the amulets after all," said Nina.
"Oh yeah," said Alfie.
"I knew it," said Nina.
Nina opened the door and the club entered the room. But the club did not realize that Victor Sr. was in the hallway and had seen everything. The club had arrived in the cellar.
"It worked, said Patricia.
"Now all we need to do is get that mask, said Eddie.
The club entered the secret room and again they didn't realize they were being watched by someone.
In the meantime at the school. The auction had started. Mara stood nervously on the stage, she looked at Jerome who gave her a thumbs up.
"Welcome all, welcome, said Mara.
But no one heard Mara because her microphone was off so people just kept talking. Otis walked up to the microphone and turned it on.
"Silence!" Yelled Mara.
Everyone was quiet and looked at Mara.
"Uh, sorry, hello, Since Mr. Sweet couldn't attend I will the opening today," said Mara.
"I'm here, said Mr. Sweet as he entered the room.
"Oh," said Mara.
Mr. Sweet walked onto the stage and Mara stepped aside.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I hereby declare this auction officially opened, "said Mr. Sweet.
With the exception of Ms. Delaney, no one clapped. Isaac just as quickly, but that didn't take away the awkwardness. Mara walked over the microphone.
"You're allowed to make noise again, "said Mara.
Everyone started clapping. Mr. Sweet left the stage and sat down next to Ms. Delaney. Mara stood in front of the microphone again.
"Well we are going to start, with the first article and it is a ...," said Mara.
A student walked in with Ms. Delaney's vase and handed it to Jerome.
"With this beautiful vase," said Mara.
"That's my vase," said Ms. Delaney.
"Yes," said Mr. Sweet.
"Who bids £10?" Asked Mara.
But no one from the audience held up their sign.
"£10, for this unusual vase?" Asked Mara.
"It's a very expensive vase otherwise," said Ms. Delaney.
"£5, please?" Asked Mara.
"Yes, said Isaac, as he held up his sign.
"£5 is bid, £10?" Asked Mara.
"Yes, said Trudy, as she held up her sign.
"Okay, £10 has been bid, Who's bid £15? Asked Mara.
Ms. Delaney raised her sign.
"£15 is bid, Anybody bid 20?" Asked Mara.
No one in the audience stands their sign up.
"Going once, going twice, sold to Ms. Delaney for £15," said Mara.
"Eric I've got it," said Ms. Delaney.
Jerome gave the vase to a student. Otis walked into the classroom not looking happy, he walked toward Mara and Jerome. Mr. Shepard also got up and walked toward the trio.
"I've got bad news, another cancellation," said Otis.
"What?" Asked Jerome.
"So there won't be any press at all?" Asked Mara.
"No, what am I supposed to do now?" Asked Otis.
"Keep calling," said Jerome.
And while Otis was making calls, Mr. Shepard, with a sneaky grin on his face, was making notes in his notebook.
In the meantime, the club was in tunnels and they were on their way to the chamber with the task.
"What if that task is all the way in Egypt? Then we'll still be walking here tomorrow and Super Alfie will be tired before we get there," said Alfie.
"First of all, I don't know because I didn't make that trial and second, do you really think we can walk to Egypt in one day," said Eddie.
"Maybe," said Alfie.
"Shouldn't we be at the task by now?" Asked Amber.
"I think we're there," said Aaron.
The club stood in front of a wall made entirely of black swampy mud.
"This looks so gross," said Amber.
"Is this the task?" Asked Patricia.
"I think we have to go through it," said Nina.
"Let's go for it," said Aaron.
The club walked through the mud wall one by one.
Back at school, auction was still in full swing. A student brought Jerome the next item for the auction.
"And the next item is this urinal, handy for your bathroom, who'll give £10?" Asked Mara.
A lady in the audience raised her sign.
"£10 has been bid, anyone bid 15?" Asked Mara.
Someone else raised their sign and auction continued.
Back in the tunnels the club was busy doing the task, they were all like dirty from the mud. The club had ended up back in another tunnel made entirely of black swamp mud, the dirty mud dripped off the walls and celling and the ground was slippery.
"This so gross," said Amber.
"Don't think about it, Amber you can do this," said Nina.
"Just think what you would do if you were Nancy Ninja, said Aaron.
"Okay, I'm just like Nancy Ninja and I'm going to do this", said Amber.
"No, stop it," said Alfie out of the sudden.
"Alfie what is it?" Asked Nina.
"I thought you were my friends," said Alfie.
"Alfie?" Asked Amber.
"No, stop it! Stop it!" Yelled Alfie.
Alfie fell down and grabbed his head and he kept screaming and the club had no idea what was going on with Alfie.
What's the matter with Alfie? Why is he screaming like that? Is he now face to face with his greatest fear?
