Two-day preparation

A/N: I'm finally back with the first chapter of season 2 of Total Drama Island.

Anyway onto the chapter!

Kevin's P.O.V

I step out of the taxi with my luggage in my hand getting out of the taxi. Once it pulled up at the orphanage.

I then walked up to towards the entrance of the orphanage that had a chipped painted door and a loose doorknob that needed to be fixed.

'This place needs work done. I don't understand why the city barely gives this place any money.' I thought bringing my hand up to the doorknob to go inside.

When I opened the door and walked inside I was greeted by shouting.

"Kevin your back!" A familiar voice exclaimed.

I looked up to see my best friend Zack who is three months younger than me.

"Zack please turn the volume down," I said.

"How can I turn the volume down when my best friend has a girlfriend!" Zack shouted hugging me.

"Zac," I said trying to break free from the hug.

"Geez let her go before you suffocate him," A couple said.

I looked over to see Mr. Smith one of the caretakers for the orphanage.

"My bad just was excited to see that my best friend's family has a girlfriend and isn't so depressing anymore," Zack said letting me go.

"I agree," A female voice said.

I then saw Zack's twin sister Suzy heading lover towards me and the others.

"You're all crazy," I said.

"Oh don't act like that," Mr. Smith said. "Did you have fun?"

"Yeah, I guess it was pretty fun," I replied.

"Tell us everything," Mr. Smith said.

"Well umm," I began.

I was now sitting in the living room finishing up retelling my adventures on the show.

"So that how everything went. Anyway, I have to go back for season two," I finished.

"Yeah the producers called and told us as much," Mr. Smith said with a sigh. "I was hoping you could stay longer next week for the families that were coming to adopt."

"All well there always next time," I said.

"Yeah that true," Zack said. " Anyway I hope you win the money and don't blow it by protecting a pretty face Mr. Nice," Zack said smirking.

"Oh shut up Zack. At least I know how to be a gentleman," I said rolling my eyes at Zack's smirk.

Zack glares at me. "Well, I will rather not be a gentleman then protecting a manipulative cow,"

"Zack!" Suzy gasped. "Apologize don't say such rude things about Kevin's girlfriend."

"Why should I?" Zack asked. "I watched the show and I know what I saw and no matter what Kevin says I know that Heather is bad news."

"So she might not be the nicest person, but everyone has their reasons for while they behave a certain way," I replied glaring at Zack.

'Zack my best friend but he can be a real pain in the butt sometimes. Sometimes I wonder why we are even friends in the first place.'

"Children behave yourselves," Mr. Smith ordered.

"Zack there are better ways to express your concerns no need to be rude," Suzy said slapping her brother's arm.

"Don't worry about him. I don't care what he thinks he might be my best friend but he doesn't control who I date. Besides she makes me happy and is a nice person to me," I said.

"Now that is settle. Kevin why don't you go get your stuff ready to leave in two days. While I get dinner started." Mr. Smith said.

I nodded and headed to my bedroom. That I shared with two other boys. Tyler and Justin who our two years younger than me.

When I arrived at my bedroom. I saw that Tyler and Justin won't inside of the room.

'They must be playing games at the nearby park.' I thought.

After putting some clothes in my bag for season two and a fresh toothbrush along with anything else I might need.

Now I was just laying in my bed texting Heather to see how she was doing. She was doing fine and was thankful for me saving her hair. Most of her text was ranting about her annoying family except for her mom.

I just continue texting her until I heard Mr. Smith announced that dinner was ready to eat.

'I wonder what he made for dinner. Most likely not expensive since we can't afford much.' I thought while texting Heather that I talk to her after dinner.
