Seaside Hill was always stunning to look at, but it was at night when it really appeared calmly, the dark night sky accompanying the dark waters, of which was illuminated by the bright, white moon.
"Hmm. Feels good being out here with no one to pester you." Shadow stated as he was relaxing on the white sand, feeling the waves coming up to his feet as he had his arms wrapped around the back of his head. "Yes... this peace is just what I need after all that adventuring earlier..."
"I concur." Omega stated as he was mixing up several drinks together, having made a little concession stand right next to Shadow. "I finally get to utilize my new drinking skills after being hired at that resort."
"...what resort?' Shadow asked as he turned his head to Omega.
"Oh Shadow, you know what I'm talking about." Omega commented as he rolled his right mechanical hand about. "The Seaside Hill Resort that Dr. Eggman built to get funds for his inferior consumer models."
"...Oh yeah. I remember that." Shadow commented as he nodded his head, opening his eyes as he murmured. "...I think..."
"I don't think at all!" Charmy exclaimed as he giggled, popping up right next to Shadow on his left.
Shadow screamed as he jumped in the air, shocked by Charmy's appearance. "Ack! What are you doing here!?"
"Espio said that I should learn to make friends!" Charmy exclaimed as he twirled about, giggling as he winked. "And he said that you're a good role model to make friends with.!"
Shadow groaned loudly as he pinched the middle area between his nose and eyes, closing his eyes as he sighed, with Omega and Charmy both glancing at Shadow in confusion.
"Damn it, Espio..." Shadow muttered under his breath, knowing that this was Espio's version of a joke.
