Seaside Hill was the place where you could do anything you would like, so long as you had good intentions and not try something sneaky like take over the world. Dr. Eggman and Sonic were both surprisingly having a leisurely walk together, briefly putting aside their intense rivalry.
"You know, when you just take a break and look at things in a neutral light, it's pretty fascinating." Dr. Eggman commented as he moved his arms about.
Sonic nodded in agreement, rolling his right hand. "Yeah, I get what you're saying. It's great to take a breather from being a hero every now and then."
"Just so you know..." Eggman stated as he turned his head to the anthropomorphic blue hedgehog. "When this is done, we're going right back to what we always are. Intense arch nemesis!"
"And I'll be ready to kick your butt when the time comes, Robotnik!" Sonic commented as he coolly wagged his right index finger at Eggman, giving the doctor a wink.
Orbot and Cubot watched the duo walk towards the western direction, looking at each other oddly as they were on a brief vacation.
"Sonic and the doctor together, without tearing each other apart? I thought I would never live to see the day!" Cubot exclaimed as he spun around.
Orbot sighed as he sipped some tea, shaking his head. "Oh well, you know how crazy the doctor gets sometimes..."
