Seaside Hill was pleasant at night, with a cool breeze blowing throughout the tropical area as plenty of Nokis were on the beach relaxing, with Sonic running around at the speed of sound as usual.
"Heh! I'm really getting better at drifting!" Sonic commented as he swerved around the curves within the orange checkerboard mountains, smiling as he continued on throughout the area, running on the white cement road with red and white pillars all around in the ocean. "I just gotta apply this to my vehicles, and I'll be unstoppable!"
"That's what you think, stupid." Shadow chuckled as he suddenly blasted Sonic into the water with a Chaos Spear, hiding on top of one of the pillars.
Sonic screamed as he was blasted into the sea, the blue hedgehog screaming as he flailed in the water, shaking his head. Shadow smirked as he jumped down from the pillar to the road, folding his arms as he looked at Sonic.
"Hmph. I can't believe this faker is the true ultimate life form." Shadow muttered as he chuckled at Sonic's unfortunate predicament, getting his value's worth of the night.
"Help! Get me out of here!" Sonic exclaimed as he drowned, with Shadow continuing to chuckle.
