Seaside Hill was peaceful as usual, but then a powerful wind picked up, causing the tourists on the beach to run to the nearest shelter as the water splashed on the sandy shores, eventually coming onto the smooth green grass.
"This weather is too severe for us to be out in!" Tails exclaimed as he and Knuckles were caught in the storm. "We gotta find somewhere to hide!"
"But where!?" Knuckles remarked as he felt the wind blowing his red dreadlocks back. "The Ocean Palace is too far for us to run to!"
It was then that thunder boomed as lightning electrocuted both Tails and Knuckles, paralyzing them as they got picked up by the wind, being blown around the darkened sky as the wind storm got more severe. Rouge, Shadow, and Silver watched from inside Petey Piranha's Popcorn Parlor as they munched on popcorn.
"Too bad about them," Rouge commented as she belched, gulping down on more popcorn.
"Yeah. They really should have scouted the area more," Silver added as he stretched his arms.
Shadow rolled his eyes as he folded his arms, watching Petey Piranha restock the popcorn. "Their fault they were too slow to realize that."
