Chapter 15: The New Students are Illogical
Beacon Academy
One Month Before Initiation
Shockwave felt the days passing by with much speed. As a Cybertronian, he had lived for millions of Remnant years. The days and weeks that passed by on this planet felt like a moment or a flash. Still, even with such a small amount of time, he was making significant progress. His work with the ground bridge was nearly complete, his side project at Mountain Glenn was starting to come together, and many numerous oddball jobs were being wrapped up nicely.
Today wouldn't be spent on any of his personal goals. Today, he had business with Ozpin. More specifically, the headmaster wanted to get his opinion about the applicants that had been accepted into Beacon Academy. Not all the candidates that were accepted were necessarily going to become students at this institution. The most common way to fail was to die in initiation. The other way was merely failing the test itself.
Personally, Shockwave felt it prudent to know whatever he could about all of the incoming prospects. As his current place of employment was regarded as the most prestigious of the huntsman academies, the children that applied here on average were of a much higher caliber than those applying for other academies. Thankfully, his boss had allowed him the transcripts and other relevant documentation to peruse at his leisure.
To save himself time, reviewing them with his own mental processors would be much faster than holographically displaying the information. Not all of the information was digital. There were some physical papers to go with the data profiles, but those could be read and digested quickly too at a later juncture.
He scanned the first one.
Weiss Schnee. Human. She was the daughter of the Schnee Dust Company's Chairman and CEO Jacques Schnee and his wife Willow Schnee, the latter being the only daughter of the SDC's founder Nicholas Schnee. Weiss had two siblings, one of which he was familiar with: Winter Schnee. The other was a younger brother named Whitley Schnee.
Her weapon was a multi action dust rapier, used to launch a variety of attacks in tandem with a sword style that was elegant, controlled, and precise. Her semblance allowed her many options in combat, ranging from simple physical enhancements to changing the perception of time. A combination of these many skills could make for a deadly display.
In the most simple terms, her method of fighting employed many different avenues. She had creativity and variety on her side.
Schnee had three main problems. The first was her relative lack of a dedicated defense. She seemed optimized for offense, though she likely had at least options in how to avoid direct attacks. Her second problem was endurance, which was lacking. An opponent with high durability could win through a battle of attrition against her. The third issue was her straightforward approach, which left her highly predictable
Shockwave only took a few seconds to decide that despite some glaring weaknesses, her usefulness and overall effectiveness were considerable. If anything, shortcomings could be addressed with time.
Moving on.
Blake Belladonna. Faunus. She had no formal training or previous academic records of any kind. Her competence in fighting came from her time in the White Fang. She was trained and mentored by Adam Taurus, one of the leading figures of the terrorist organization. Her only relatives were her parents, Ghira and Kali Belladonna.
Her weapon of choice was a variant ballistic chain scythe with several functions: a semi automatic pistol, a katana, and a sickle. Its sheathe could also be utilized as an offhand sword. The weapon combined with a ribbon and a semblance that allowed the creation of clones with tangibility made her a target always on the move, fast and nimble.
In other words, her specialty was that of a guerrilla fighter: striking swiftly, retreat, and repeat the process repititously.
There were problems with this one too. For one thing, she was a former terrorist being allowed in an official place of academic learning. That alone should have barred her from entry, which meant Ozpin had allowed her enrollment. For another, while she had plenty of live experience, her training and fundamentals were questionable. She was described as a lone fighter, not an ideal fit for the team-oriented huntsmen academies.
Shockwave could not begin to understand why Ozpin would allow a potential security risk into Beacon Academy. While she had no current ties to the White Fang, the fact that she had history at all was concerning and she should be serving time in prison or some other form of adequete punishment before she could enroll. The former Decepticon would have words with his boss, although he predicted that those words would fall on deaf ears.
Next up.
Yang Xiao Long. Human. She was born to Taiyang Xiao Long and Raven Branwen. She was formally trained by her father and her skills honed at Signal Academy, a primary combat school. She had one half-sister, Ruby Rose. They shared a father, but not a mother.
The brawler sported dual ranged shot gauntlets. They were both loaded with shells intended to deal high damage at close range. Her semblance allowed her to absorb physical attacks and redirect them with twice the power. She was strong physically and her constitution was very high. Xiao Long was a person who felt that the only means of fighting was via direct confrontation.
This one was a weapon on overcharge. She only had one single approach: endure and overpower with brutal and unyielding force.
It was worth noting that while her record was near impeccable combat wise, she had a weakness that was noticeable, but not necessarily at first glance; even if she could redirect damage, her aura still sustained damage, so just like anyone else, she could be taken down when faced with comparable power. Additionally, she was highly confident in herself and that was going to cost her in the future if she did not learn restraint.
Shockwave cared little for brutish individuals. They had little chance in understanding nuances and subtlety and details that he could see, but even brutes had usefulness. Also, there was a side note courtesy of Taiyang that his daughter seemed obsessed with finding Raven. If that was true, then Yang's practicality could be elevated.
The following item was outright illogical in all senses.
Jaune Arc. Human. He was one of eight children. His other seven siblings were all sisters, the eldest being Saphron Cotta-Arc, who currently resided in Argus, a joint city that both Atlas and Mistral had a hand in. The Arc family was known to have a long line of warriors that extended many years ago, even beyond the Great War.
The boy was reported using Crocea Mors, a simple sword and shield combination with the latter also acting as a sheathe. There was no mention of a semblance of any kind, likely meaning he had yet to find out his semblance. A person with a sword and shield was more focused on a balance of offense and defense and this seemed to be a classic case.
He was the traditional definition of a warrior that had stood the test of time. Even to this day, a knight could still excel.
Shockwave noted that this entire profile as well as the transcripts seemed unusually limited in information, so to obtain information to fill in the gaps, he ran the transcripts through a discrete background check. When it all came back as negative, the answer became clear. This was falsified information plain and simple. Why would Ozpin allow someone with no training, no skills, and no aura into this place?
The headmaster's logic was growing more illogican, but that question could be filed for later.
Pyrrha Nikos. Human. She was the daughter to Helen Nikos, a single mother who lived in Argus. She was a graduate of Sanctum Academy. She was a four-time consecutive champion of the Mistral Regional Tournament. She had numerous decorations and commendations from teachers and huntsmen as well as numerous sponsorships who supported her financially.
Miló and Akoúo̱ were here weapons, the first being a javelin in its default form and the second being a rounded shield. Miló also had a semi-automatic rifle form and a sword form. To top it off, the "Pride of Mistral" possessed polarity as a semblance. To say that she was talented and skilled would be to underestimate her true potential.
Superior weapon mastery, superb body control, and unmatched situational awareness formed the image of a supreme warrior.
On paper, Nikos was an almost perfect candidate for Beacon Academy. With enough time, training, and experience, she would be nigh-unstoppable in battle. However, it was that perfection that made him cautious. There was no such thing as perfection. She was human, and no matter how much she excelled, her public image and appearance made her out to be naive about the reality of the world.
But Shockwave was well aware that naivety could be manipulated given the right pressures. This world was filled with more than just the 'good' that Pyrrha Nikos saw. Once she saw the other side that she had not been exposed to, she wouldn't be able to maintain that naivety for long.
The details could be hammered out later.
Lie Ren. Human. He was an orphan from Mistral. His parents were casualties in a Grimm attack on his home village. This was not an uncommon story for many people who lived outside the walls of the kingdoms. He had no living blood relatives to speak of, although he was said to be a constant companion in his life, which happened to be another student applying here.
StormFlower were his weapons, dual submachine guns with blades on the underside. These were meant for a person with martial arts and control of the body. His semblance granted him the ability to mask negative emotions, a highly effective ability when fighting Grimm. It was almost like he was created specifically to combat the black monsters.
Taken to the Nth degree, there were the marks of a highly capable Grimm specialist. With the correct guidance, a supreme hunter could be born.
Further study on Lie Ren would be invaluable because he had a semblance that would become extremely useful if it could be applied on a universal scale. Getting close to the boy might be hard though. He was described as someone who mostly kept to himself. Most likely, the trauma of losing his family had forced him to mature faster and as a result, there was little left in terms of childish behavior.
Shockwave would highlight this student as a priority. Being able to walk amongst the Grimm with no chance of attack would be perhaps the single best innovation on Remnant at this time.
Continuing on.
Nora Valkyrie. Human. She was also an orphan from Mistral. There were no records of her family, not even distant relatives. She and Lie Ren and been together since childhood and were very close emotionally. Wherever he went, she followed him without question. For all intents and purposes, the two of them were family.
Magnhild was the name of her weapon, a war hammer with a grenade launcher as an alternative. This was meant for absolute damage and nothing else. Her semblance was absorbing electricity and channeling it into her muscles, granting her theoretically limitless strength and tremendous vitality. For this girl, she was a tank with a big gun.
She was a weapon of mass destruction just waiting to be unleashed on her enemies.
Shockwave valued this girl the same as he valued Yang Xiao Long, which was very little at first. Still, an all-powerful weapon, in the right situations, would be very useful to have in reserve. The number of usages for this student were low, but sometimes all that was needed was a simple blunt tool. Then again, she could be manipulated if he used Ren as her reason to do anything.
As of right now she was a low priority.
Seven down, many more to go.

Team CFVY formed a semi-circle as they got ready for this most-anticipated moment: the revealing of their newly-improved weapons.
Usually, when it came to weapons employed by huntsmen and huntresses, they were a hit and miss. Some weapons had a stronger foundation, others had better building material, and quite a few were expertly crafted. For the most part, all Grimm killers built weapons with the intent to use them extensively and intensely.
However, to say that they were all properly made or well-built would be an outright lie. Not everyone had access to good-quality material. Thankfully, Team CFVY had their weapons in order and Velvet had often provided weapon repairs and minor upgrades thanks to her technical knowledge and skills.
But today, that would all change.
Professor Shockwave, as Coco had begun to address him, had called them all here to show them the fruits of his labors in regards to weapon upgrades. There was uncertainty as to how this would all turn out, but in light of the bright and cheerfulness of Velvet and the process of her personal weapon, there was a positive buzz in the air.
"Should we have a drumroll for this?" Coco asked absentmindedly. "Seems like the right thing to do."
"We don't have drums." Yatsuhashi commented.
"We could simulate them." Velvet chimed in. "Just pull up a video of a drumroll."
"How about we just get to the good part?" Fox voiced his opinion. "No sense in dragging this out further."
"If you all are quite finished, I will begin." Shockwave reminded them all.
"Sorry, teach." Coco cleared her throat. "Team CFVY, I order all of you to shut up."
Although no one voiced an objection, the team leader received different expressions in response to her words.
Fox gave her a dubious look.
Velvet appeared somewhat timid.
Yatsuhashi just stared blankly.
"Then I will begin." Shockwave hefted a durable-looking case. "We will start with Coco's weapon."
"Hell to the yes!" Coco eagerly slid the case towards herself. "Let's see what this old girl's got."
Snapping the case open, she lifted the top open. Since the case was extremely large, she knew that her weapon was already at the ready and not in incognito mode. One look and she felt a small smile grace her features as well as as a slight nod of the head.
The first obvious improvement in Gianduja was in its overall profile. The weapon had been slimmed down considerably. The body was vaguely recognizable, but clearly some metal work had been done make it look this streamline. It looked more slim than memory seemed to depict it. The large drum magazine underneath was gone entirely, but there didn't appear to be anything that acted as a replacement. Maybe there was a new internal system.
She lifted the weapon from the case, instantly feeling just how much lighter it was. This had to be at least five pounds less than what she was used to. The newly situated handle appeared to be manually adjustable, which meant that she could do more than fire at the hip. The overall aesthetic was modified with sleekness and ingenuity in mind. The color had been painted over, which was slightly annoying, but that could be fixed easily.
"I'm liking the new look and man can I swing this baby around, but what am I feeding this girl?" Coco was mindful not to jump to any immediate conclusions. "I'm not seeing a magazine slot or anything that holds ammunition."
"All of the internal components have been removed and replaced with a new system." The professor explained. "We originally talked about feeding different bullet calibers, but I felt that this system works better. All it requires now is dust fed directly into the gun. Depending on how fine the dust being fed is, it will affect the fire."
Coco whistled. "Nice. Now I don't have to buy bullets anymore."
"There is also a new additional feature." The faunus man pointed to the front of the weapon. "If you ever find yourself embroidelled the middle of an intense firefight, you can activate a hardlight shield to protect yourself from the front."
Noticing a switch where she held the grip in her left hand, the team leader flicked it on and instantly, there was a hum accompanied by a bright blue shield. It was transparent and see-through and it completely covered her from the front.
"Now this is my jam." Coco grinned like a madwoman. "I can put down suppressive fire indefinitely. Hell, I'll kill all the Grimm like this."
Shockwave watched her. "If it will help your performance, I can program a personalized heads-up display to assist you with accuracy."
"I think I want to take her out for a spin before I add any more bells and whistles." Coco lowered Gianduja and made a thumbs up. "But thanks, Shocky. You're the best."
"Your gratitude is accepted." If the professor was offended by the new nickname, he didn't show it. "Fox, this is yours."
After Coco took a seat and with a much more reserved demeanor than his team leader, the blind boy gingerly unsealed the case housing his weapons. Because he was incapable of actually seeing his weapon with his eyes, the only thing he could do was hold his weapons and do some test swings.
What came to him immediately was how fluid his motions felt. He felt very little weight on his arms. It was almost like he was striking with only his fists. The Accessibility Dialogue Assistant that helped him with 'seeing' via sonar pulses could instantly detect a far more sharp blade. It seemed unlikely that Sharp Retribution could get any more deadly than it was, but apparently, the blades were so sharp that even slight touches could inflict cuts.
"The blades have been refitted with the ability to use fire dust to superheat the blades." Shockwave pointed out. "I would recommend testing them outside first before using them indoors. Also, for more advanced techniques, the blades can rotate to face whichever direction you require."
"Cool stuff." Fox didn't need to hear any more. "Thanks, teach."
Professor Watson turned to the only faunus on the team. "Velvet, is Anesidora ready?"
"Yes, sir." Velvet jumped up eagerly. "Although I haven't conducted any tests yet."
Shockwave's robotic arm transformed into its gun mode. "Then it is prudent that we perform a trial simulation."
"Of course." Velvet held the camera in her hand, then quickly snapped a photo. "Okay, moment of truth."
Taking a deep breath and closing her eyes, she replaced the device on her belt and held out her right arm. In a mere millisecond, an exact replica of the weapon in holographic form began to take shape. The weapon's shape and size were exactly that of the original: intimidating and alien.
"It works." Velvet breathed with excitement for a moment before a crestfallen look dawned on her features. "But I can't test-fire here."
"That can be done at a later time." Shockwave was quick to inform her. "My weapon, at its most powerful, is almost impossible to control."
"In that case, I think I can wait." Velvet deactivated the projection. "But thank the gods that it worked."
The professor looked to the last student. "Now, Mister Daichi, your weapon and armor."
"My thanks, Professor Watson." Yatsu let his gratitude be known before he accepted his upgrades.
First came the armor pieces, which were housed in a very tall locker nearby. At first glance, nothing seemed different about anything. The same aesthetic design and the same colors were present. The short-haired second-year donned the parts, taking note of how the rust and wear and tear were gone. New material had been put into this design. Also, a new coat of paint had been applied, so there was a new shine.
"The gauntlets have been reinforced, allowing you to use them to deflect blades and bullets." Shockwave elaborated. "Additionally, if you are in need of more options in combat, modules can be fitted for different purposes, either offensive or defensive in nature. I will leave that to your discretion."
"I'm sure that this will work for now." Yatsuhashi remarked with satisfaction. "You also mentioned some weapon upgrades, sir."
"Yes. Have a look." Shockwave pulled Fulcrum from the locker. "You will not be required to ever sharpen the blade. It will retain its effectiveness even decades into the future regardless of the number of uses and the intensity of usage."
"Impressive." Yatshu gave a few slight movements. "It feels more balanced than I remember it being."
"I merely calculated the optimal requirements for your build and combat style." Shockwave's answer was clear and to the point. "It seems that my calculations were correct."
All of Team CFVY admired their new toys, some visibly more thrilled than others, but there was no doubt in any of their minds; they were going to rock the house this coming year. They were at the top of their class during freshman year and as sophomores, they were going to stay at the top.
"Shocky, you just went from awesome to legendary." Coco let her approval be known. "We'll be sure to repay this back."
"Do you intend to create nicknames at will, Miss Adel?" Shockwave stared at her.
"Only to the professors that are kickass." Coco winked at him. "And you're the most kickass at Beacon."
"That is logical." Shockwave said.

Glynda found many of Ozpin's actions to be disagreeable, especially when it came to recruiting students for the student body.
More than a few of the new applicants left much room for concern as far as she could see. Quite a few had credentials that just didn't seem up to par with the very high standards that this academy stressed. Contrary to popular belief, being a huntsman was knowing more than how to swing a sword. There was tactical training, leadership training, things that were necessary for combat not to mention other classes that could be found at any normal school. The huntsman academies were not sending out idiots into their field, far from it.
Normally, Glynda would be the only one reviewing the applications alongside Ozpin, but her boss had just recently informed her that Watson had done a review himself. It was unusual just how much effort the headmaster was putting into ensuring that their newest teacher was working at his best. No expense was spared to allow their unusual addition to work at his best.
Furthermore, highly classified information had been revealed to the scientist, something that the telekinetic protested against, but ultimately lost. The damage had been done and whether they knew it or not, their little underground brotherhood meant to protect maidens had gained a new member. It was inevitable in retrospect, but baby steps should have been taken to ensure a smooth transition.
Clearly, Ozpin, saw something in the man that she didn't see, but that didn't make the small uneasiness in her gut go away.
However, as a professional, she put aside her feelings regarding her coworker and decided to consult him to see if perhaps he had any opinions as to how the new applications appeared to him. Given Watson's nature of seeking logic and empirical evidence, it stood to reason that he would give perhaps the most unbiased opinion about the incoming potentials. Her judgement had been right; along with his verbal report, he had given her a detailed analysis on all the profiles and any relevant observations. He gave his point of view without holding back. Good was good, bad was bad, plain and simple without a single hint of tact.
Glynda might have been more irritated in any other setting, but for the sake of incoming huntsmen and huntresses, that bluntness and honesty might just be the difference between life and death. There would no doubt be some initial pain in finding out flaws, but better that any chinks in the armor be exposed when they could be mitigated.
The combat instructor would also throw in some of her own observations. For the most part, she had very few overwhelming issues with the competence of this year's batch save for a select few individuals. It was their personalities and quirks that she did take issue with, but no doubt Ozpin would find a way to ease her concerns. It was something that he was supremely good at, much to her chagrin.
"One of these days, he's going to drive me insane." Glynda grumbled to herself.

Bartholomew received quite the unexpected visit when Shael made a surprise visit to see him. Even more surprising was how the science teacher wished to discuss the history of Remnant itself. While unexpected, the history teacher was eager to share his extensive knowledge and he was even more ecstatic that his 'student' was absorbing his words like a sponge.
But even more intriguing was how occasionally, his fellow professor would ask questions about certain points and details and these questions were hardly simple in nature; generally speaking, the pattern was this: they revolved around the decisions of critical people in history and what resulted and whether or not those outcomes would have changed depending upon different factors that were present at the time. These were the types of questions that all teachers hoped that students would ask, yet few seemed to voice.
"Now that is a mystery that still has no concrete answer." Bartholomew continued. "The faunus have always existed alongside mankind, although for how long I can't say. The earliest of recorded history suggests that they've existed as long as mankind."
Yet there is not one logical explanation as to where the genetic diversion occurred?" Shael focused on the discrepancy. "Such a change in DNA is highly unlikely to occur naturally given that mankind is optimized as it is."
"The theories vary in scope from the fantastic to the realistic." Bartholomew explained with a knowing face. "But I'm sure you don't want to hear anything that isn't in the realm of fact."
"Your assertion is logical." Shael voiced.
Bartholomew clapped his hands. "Then I'll begin with the most popular theory rooted in the most evidence. Mankind's very existence is something of a mystery. Some say we evolved from primates, but that fails to explain the various animalistic traits that faunus possess in addition to their ability to sire children with humans. Another theory is that we were created, but that is more a hypothesis based on circumstantial leads."
"Judging by this world's wildlife and the lack of a credible theory as to Mankind's origins, the idea of a creator could potentially be viable." Shael proposed. "Merely because sensory perceptions cannot detect protons that are a fundamental part of the nuclei that make up atoms which we are comprised of does not mean that protons do not exist. By proxy, we may yet have a creator, but the inability to perceive them through the senses does not mean they are nonexistent."
"Certainly true." Bartholomew could agree to that line of thinking. "It's important we never assume anything about our world, other people, and even ourselves. Often times, we take for granted simple and obvious signs in favor of more complicated and obscure ones."
"All the more reason to research whatever has a chance of being logical, regardless of how outrageous at face value." Shael reiterated. "Describe all the ideas that you know of. I will decide whether or not further study is warranted."
This would become quite a lengthy conversation, but it wasn't often that the green-haired man spoke with a fellow intellectual.

Peter felt it prudent to test their newest teacher on his Grimm slaying skills. While each and every one of the faculty was a specialist and taught that specialty accordingly, Beacon Academy was first and foremost an institution to teach students how to kill Grimm. All the lecturers were huntsmen and huntresses as accordingly, they had to maintain their skills in fighting Grimm.
Hence why Mister Watson was sitting opposite him in the faculty room as they began their test.
"Beowolf." Peter started off.
"Beowolves are among the most common Grimm. They are almost exclusively bred for purely offensive action, thus counter attacks are advised." Shael said back. "Alone, they are weak, however the older ones will form pacts and attack with numbers. This mentality reflects their wolf counterparts. A shot to the neck is sufficient as is decapitation."
"Boarbatusk." Peter proceeded.
"They are offensive in all manners. They are armored so that they can do maximum damage without self-damage." Shael didn't blink. "When on their back or side, strike the exposed underside. The most effective tactic is to avoid until an opportunity presents itself to off balance."
Peter nodded. "King Taijitu."
Shael folded his hands in front of himself. "Their keen sense of smell can be used to misdirect their attention. Because of their potentially slippery scales, only extremely sharp weapons or firearms meant to penetrate armor are recommended. Never remain stationary as the two heads are simultaneously capable of tracking."
"Nevermore." Peter listed off.
"Never lose sight. Recommended tactic is to cripple the ability to fly so as to prevent air assaults." Shael relayed. "Explosive rounds preferred if available so as to destabilize flight path. Ill-advised to combat in the open."
"Ursa."
"Can switch between offense and defense. Highly adaptable given the situation." Shael clarified. "Advisable to be aggressive, especially in regards to Majors. Strength and durability are considerable. Weak points include the neck, the underjaw, and stomach.'
"Geist."
"By themselves, they are nearly harmless. Regardless of whether or not they have taken possession of an object, always aim for its eye. If it does control a body, attacking its limbs is pointless."
"Nuckelavee."
"The priority is to disable its mobility. Cripple the horse either via disorientation. Removing its legs has limited effectiveness and is often discarded. Disarming the Imp is most important as its arms have high flexibility and reach. Decapitation comes last as it can produce sonic shrieks that disrupts hearing."
"Lancer."
"Use ice dust to freeze them, then destroy them with an explosion. If swarmed, only freeze and take evasive maneuvers. Then retreat to a defensible position."
The rest of the test proceeded just as smoothly with not even a second of hesitation when it came to delivering answers. Such a wealth of knowledge could only be attributed to either experience, extensive study, or both. Regardless, there was little reason to doubt foundations of Mister Watson. Clearly, he knew his theoretical literature inside and out.
Quite a man we have acquired. Peter was impressed. I'm sure Ozpin will rest easier knowing that our overall strength has increased.

Shockwave returned to his classroom having completed quite a few tasks today. While individually, they served him no immediate benefit, collectively they all served to generate good will towards the students and faculty of Beacon Academy. This side effect began to make him consider what he could do with the persons he associated with if he deepened their loyalty to him. Making friends and allies might be useful in certain scenarios in the future, but for now, he was more than capable by himself and until such a time came when he needed to cash in favors, he would remain as autonomous as possible.
Opening the door to his highly-modified classroom, he was greeted with the sight of a very large box situated next to his desk. Its entire length was equal to the scientists entire current standing height.
Shockwave carefully removed the cardboard protection. Underneath was an all-black protective canister, the very same one that he had sent out some time ago. This had been sent due to the fragility of the cargo being carried and only the former Decepticon felt that his item be carried in something he knew would protect it with absolute certainty. Ideally, he would have preferred to be present for the procurement and packaging, but with all of his new duties and tasks, he entrusted this job to an anonymous party who was more than eager to perform considering the amount of lien the former Decepticon offered upfront and upon completion.
The hybrid unlocked the canister with a personal passcode embedded in his neural network. Then, with a careful hand, he unsealed the top, peering inside and appraising his most important piece to one of his most important goals.
It was a single large bone, one which predated even the earliest records of Remnant's recorded history.
We're about to begin the school year at Beacon Academy. I'm sure many of you have been looking forward to it. Unless I find some other loose ends I need to take care of, you can expect to see the main cast starting to show up. I've got big plans for what's to come and I'm sure lots of you will get a kick or two out of the ride.
So in addition to the ground bridge that is near completion, there is this new project. I'm sure many of you can take a guess at what I'm hinting at.
Also, what do all of you think about the first two episodes of V7? Frankly speaking, I'm already seeing problems in the armor. The same problems I saw in previous volumes have carried over. Listening to Ironwood's plan to tell all of Remnant about Salem gives me mixed feelings. One one hand, telling the truth will be better in the long run, but can they hold out that long against Salem? Well, they probably will because plot armor, right?
Moving on, what did you all think about this chapter? Please leave a review and tell me what you're most eager about in the coming chapters.
Thank you all for reading and I hope you all enjoyed this installation.
