The three Eds were doing research on the Lighting's origins and where the Lighting came from.
"I found this book that Hohenheim left behind." Brotherhood Ed said.
"What is it?" The 2003 Ed asked. The Eds opened it.
"It says the Lightning was originally a Xerxian who was a close friend of Hohenheim, but not his actual brother." Manga Ed said. "The two just grew up together."
"Hohenheim's real father was a man named Kamran, who raised Hohenheim and The Lightning, who was known by the name of Leonidas back then." 2003 Ed mentioned.
"The Lightning's father was a man named Leviticus, who is now known as Wizardmeister." Brotherhood Ed added. "Leviticus was an abusive father to Leonidas, and turned him into the very monster that he is today."
Xerxes: Before Known History
Leonidas, who was just a little boy, was returning home to Leviticus's castle.
"Father, I am home!" Leonidas said.
"Good." Leviticus told Leo. "Have you got done cleaning the stain glass windows, and all the windows in this castle?"
"But Father, I couldn't." Leonidas said. "There are too many."
"Silence, my son!" Leviticus snapped. "I brought you into this world and I can easily take you out. Clean the windows or I will feed you to the demon alligators!"
"Yes….father." Leonidas said, as a tear was rolling down his eye.
Meanwhile, Leonidas's brother, Leonardo, was with Leviticus at his throne room, showing off his skills.
"Excellent work, Leonardo." Leviticus said. "I officially dub thee the title of "The Thunder." Leviticus presented Leonardo with his blue and gold robes. Leonardo put them on, and did some quick poses.
"I have got done cleaning the windows!" Leonidas said.
"Very well then." Leviticus said. "Now it is time you and Leonardo fight each other, and the loser is banished." Leonardo and Leonidas fought each other, shooting lighting blasts and throwing Lightningrangs at one another. Leonardo shot a lightning blast at Leonidas, Leo deflected it back at Leonardo. Leonardo dodged the attack. Leonidas shot a lightning beam at Leonardo, but Leonardo blocked the attack. Leonardo threw a Lightningrang at Leonidas. It hit Leonidas and knocked him out. Leonardo charged at him, but Leviticus called the match.
"Leonardo is the winner, and Leonidas is banished." Leviticus said. Leonidas had left the castle in exile and came across a young slave with long blonde hair when running into town.
"Hello there, who might you be?" Leonidas said. "I am Leonidas."
"I am Van Hohenheim, or that was my human name before I was referred to as Slave 23." Hohenheim said.
"Nice to meet you, Van." Leonidas said.
"How about we go on over to my lab and see what I have been creating." And that day, the two friends journeyed on their way to begin the creation of the Dwarf in the Flask, infamously known as Father.
Present Day
"Gee, all this research is making me hungry." The Brotherhood Ed said.
"How about we go eat?" The 2003 Ed asked.
"Sounds good to me." Manga Ed said. "Winry, kids, Leon, come on!" The team got in their red 1955 Ford Country Sedan Wagon and headed on to a restaurant. They stopped by a place known as BurgerTown, which looked like a combination between a McDonalds in the 90s and a Burger King in the 90s. Inside there was a play area with a big smiling tree overlooking the whole play place. Inside, the team was ready to order.
"Welcome to Burger Town, how may I take your order?" The Lightning Demon cashier said.
"I will have a LightningBurger for me, the Eds and Winry, and the kids will get Thunder Meals."
"Just to be clear, the LightningBurger is meatless, made from 100% plants." The demon cashier said.
"Yea, that's why we want it." Leon said.
"Ok, that will be 19.90 Cens total." Edward handed the demon the money and waited for the order to be processed. When the order was processed, the Eds, Leon and Winry sat with the Elric kids at a booth outside the doorway to the playroom. Trisha Jr. was cowering in fear, scared by the big tree.
"What's wrong, Trisha?" Brotherhood Ed asked.
"That tree…." Trisha said with tears of fear rolling down her eyes.
"The tree scares you?" Brotherhood Ed asked.
"Yes." Trisha Jr. said. She ducked her head down.
"There's nothing to fear, it's just a decoration." Brotherhood Edward said. "It's not real."
"It's not real?" Trisha said.
"Yes." Brotherhood Ed told Trisha Jr. " That tree was created by professional workers who are high up for the company, then some construction people build it, and they send it here." The eyes on the tree were actually cameras, being operated by the one of the Lightning's goons, a hipster alien named Jerome.
"Dude, those Elric kids think they know the truth about our burgers, and think we are actually a restaurant." Jerome said. "We ain't a restaurant, we are a chemical depot that stores illegal chemicals to sell to the Lightning to power his machines." Jerome watched the Elric family eat while Trisha looked at the tree after her and the other two kids finished their food.
"The tree is staring at us." Trisha said.
"Trisha, I told you…" Brotherhood Ed said, but was cut off.
"That's no tree." I am going to investigate." Trisha Jr said. Trisha Jr went to the play place, took off her shoes and went into the tree only to find it to be an elevator to the chemical facility.
"Oh look, a little girlie wants to play." Jerome said.
"Who are you and what do you want with me?" Trisha screamed.
"I am your worst nightmare." Jerome said. He kidnapped Trisha and left her tied up on a crane, being lowered into a vat of chemical toxins.
"Let me go!" Trisha screamed in a high pitched little girl voice.
"No can do, bro." Jerome said.
Back at the table, Brotherhood Ed was looking to see where Trisha went. He went into the tree's elevator and came to his daughter's rescue.
"Trisha, I am here to save you!" Edward said. "What the hell are those large grey blocks anyways?"
"They are a meat substitute, what the Lightningburgers and all the meat in this restaurant is made of." Jerome explained.
"I thought they were made from plants?" Edward asked.
"It's something called plant fraud." Jerome explained. "We claim our meat to be made from plants because we don't want anyone to know about the illegal chemical blocks that are really in it."
"Looks like your meat is made from tofu to me." Edward remarked.
"Not tofu, NEGA FU!" Jerome shrieked. Nega Fu is a chemical that was invented by Drachma to conquer more land, but now the Lightning is using it to bring about the destruction of Amestris." The Nega Fu blocks formed into a grey cube monster with razor sharp teeth. The creature roared at Edward.
"Hold on, I have been practicing my Cretan alchemy from learning with Ashleigh, so I will see if this works." Edward used Ashleigh's Cretan ice alchemy to create an icy fist that grabbed Trisha and pushed her away from the toxic chemicals.
"All right, Nega Fu, time for an Arctic Blast!" Edward used his ice powers to freeze Nega Fu, and broke it, leaving chunks of the beast shattered around everywhere. The chunks reformed into Super Nega Fu, an even bigger monster that extended beyond the entire restaurant. The Eds, Winry, the Elric children, and Leon were defenseless against it.
"Throw me a gun!" Winry said to the 2003 Ed. The 2003 Ed extended his Automail arm and formed a weapon that looked like the Unholy Hellbringer from GTA Online. Winry caught the weapon while Ed reformed his arm. Winry was able to fire it with one hand, shooting lasers at the beast. Leon used his alchemy on the weapon and turned it into a Megaman style arm cannon. Trisha, Maes and Rosie were trying to slow it down by pulling on its legs.
Stand back!" The Eds said. Winry fired her arm cannon, Manga Ed fired an electric beam with Cretan Alchemy, Brotherhood Ed fired an ice beam with Cretan Alchemy, 2003 Ed fired his arm cannon, and Leon fired his red lightning blast. The beams combined to form a blast that destroyed Nega Fu for good, turning it to dust. Jerome came out of the ruins of the restaurant, crawling on his hands and knees. Winry pointed her arm cannon at Jerome.
"Where do you think you're going?" Winry said, pointing her arm cannon at Jerome while making a scary face in front of a black and red background. Jerome was chattering his teeth with his eyes as white circles with black borders, unaware of what to do.
"This is for kidnapping my daughter!" Winry fired her arm cannon and reduced Jerome to a pile of ashes.
"Well, we cleaned that place out." Winry joked.
"How about we head on back home to continue our quest to defeat the Lightning." Leon said.
"I agree." Brotherhood Ed agreed. Everyone got back in the car and journeyed home.
