The blue flags with the yellow lighting bolts flew in front of Central Command, while a large blue banner with the Lightning insignia hung where the Amestris flag would be. The Lightning in his human form, Leo Thompson, sat where the Fuhrer once sat in Central. Leslie was pouring him some tea while he was plotting his battle plan.

"Leslie." He said.

"Yes, Fuhrer Leo?" Leslie asked.

"Since we are not connected with the Wizarding world, who are our enemies?"

"Well, we are negotiating an alliance with Drachma at the moment." Leslie said. "I will put you on the phone with Emperor Ludendorff to negotiate a treaty." Leslie picked up the 60s-style telephone and handed it to Leo. He answered.

"Hello, Emperor Ludendorff?" Leo said.

"Why hello there." Ludendorff said in his scratchy voice that sounded like Dr. Eggman as voiced by Mike Pollock.

"I was negotiating a treaty between Amestris and Drachma that would unite our two lands together, so we can be allies in battle and in trade."

"I see there is a new Fuhrer in Amestris." Ludendorff mentioned.

"That is me." Leo said.

"I will be over as soon as I can." Ludendorff hung up the phone. Ludendorff stood tall with his brown hair, bushy mustache, and black uniform in front of the yellow flag with the black twin headed eagle on it.

Ludendorff arrived at Central, showing up at Leo's office.

"Fuhrer Leo, I presume?" Ludendorff said.

"That is correct." Leo said. Ludendorff handed Leo a treaty paper that had an empty space for Leo to sign.

"This is the Rasputin Treaty." Ludendorff explained. "This makes Amestris and Drachma allies for years to come. We cannot declare war against each other, and as a result, Fort Briggs has to be demolished."

"How about we convert Fort Briggs into the LeoCorp Hotel?" Leo asked.

"Sounds perfect." Ludendorff said. "We will have to release the squatters and send Olivier and her boyfriend away."

Olivier was alone in her cell in Fort Briggs. She was combing her hair with a fork that she kept from lunch until her own Briggs soldiers took her away, tied her up, and trafficked her into Creta. They did the same with Miles.

Olivier and Miles were without their uniforms, just tank tops and blue pants. They were fugitives in the Cretan city of Carcerona, a beautiful city with palm trees, brown stone buildings, cathedrals, and lots of shops and restaurants to buy goods and eat food.

"This feels different from Briggs, much warmer and more cheerful." Miles said.

"Yes." Olivier said. "It seems rather….pleasant." Olivier said.

"What's wrong?" Miles asked.

"Since Amestris signed a treaty with Drachma, Fort Briggs is going to be converted into a hotel, so I am the Ice Queen no more."

"But you…." Miles mentioned, but was cut off.

"I am not the queen of anybody now. I am just a young, pretty face." Olivier said.

"Why don't you loosen up a little bit?" Miles said. "Have some fun!"

Miles and Olivier bought swimsuits at a clothing store. Olivier picked out a blue bikini, while Miles picked out white swim trunks. Olivier and Miles were having fun at the beach, playing catch with a beach ball. Olivier Armstrong made a mini Fort Briggs as a sandcastle, but it softened due to high tides. Olivier and Miles left the beach to grab some margaritas at a bar. Olivier got a pink margarita while Miles got a green one.

"Cheers to a new and improved Olivier Armstrong!" Olivier said. Olivier and Miles cheered their glasses. Olivier and Miles then went to have some good Cretan cuisine at a karaoke bar and got to sing. Olivier and Miles sang "Like A Virgin" by Madonna as a duet. They put the crowd on fire with their love and chemistry together.

At the end of the night, Olivier and Miles checked into a hotel and curled up in bed together. Miles wanted to have intercourse with Olivier, but Olivier had an idea.

"Let's set up a neutral zone." Olivier said. She put a pillow beside them. "This pillow is the Northern Wall of Briggs. No one crosses it without getting blown to pieces."

"Olivier, you have to deal with the change." Miles mentioned.

"I can't!" Olivier said. "My whole life revolved around fighting wars with Drachma and guarding the fort, and now that's all taken away from me."

"Look, change happens in life." Miles explained. "Change is something that happens in all our lives. Sometimes it's for the better or for the worse. As this earth turns, we just need to turn with it."

"So I need to accept change?" Olivier asked.

"Exactly." Miles said. "Now go to sleep." Olivier and Miles went to sleep, ending the first day of Olivier's freedom from Briggs.
