Ed, Leon, Winry and the kids met with Al and Mei. They sat down on some scarlet couches in the Green Room, a green walled room with a green carpet with red rugs. Al was wearing a black royal uniform with red trim and a red sash, as the Prince of Xing. Mei wore her royal pink kimono with purple accents.

"Thanks for coming on such short notice." Al said. "So, tell me about this Lightning fellow."

"Well, he has origins in Xerxes and is connected to Hohenheim." Ed explained. "He and Hohenheim are technically brothers, although they have different sets of parents."

"They are step brothers." Winry mentioned. "Lightning was adopted."

"I see." Mei said. "I will consult with Emperor Ling to send troops to the eastern region of Amestris." Mei said.

Meanwhile Nina and Trisha Jr were in the Blue Room, while Trisha, Aaron and Rosie were with Cousins Nina, Fu and Alfred. Nina was wearing her purple kimono, while Fu was wearing his red and black suit, and Alfred wore his black and red suit.

"You again." Trisha said to Nina.

"Hey Trish." Nina said.

"What?" Trisha asked.

"How about we have some fun here." Nina proposed. "We will all take turns pressing that big red button on the Emperor's Battle Plan Desk, and it will call a butler to bring us a Coke. We will not stop till we throw up!"

"YEA!" Trisha cheered. Trisha pressed the button. A butler in a red uniform went to give Nina a Coke. He gave Nina a Coke and she drank it. Trisha pressed the button, so the butler came and gave her a Coke. She drank it. Aaron pressed the button, Rosie pressed the button, Fu pressed the button, and Alfred pressed the button. They pressed the button over and the butler was onto them.

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" The butler snapped. "That button is meant for the Emperor to press to have a refreshing cold drink to consume when he is planning a battle strategy or invasion plan, but not for your childish nonsense! I am disconnecting the button so that you may never use it again!" The butler reached for his scissors and cut the line.

"That should show you." He said as he left. Ed and Winry came to check on the kids.

"Hey kids!" Ed said. "I heard there is a carnival in the park by the Greed Memorial Shopping District."

"We should get going, we don't wanna miss it." Winry added.

"We will stay with Papa Alphonse." Nina said. "We don't want to miss Alphonse if he gets assassinated."

"And we have strict orders from the Emperor to stand guard at the palace during these times." Fu said. "We never see the outside world."

Ed, Winry and Leon arrived at the carnival and were greeted by a man in a dark blue suit and top hat with a red shirt and black tie. He had long black hair in a ponytail and black Xingese eyes.

"Step right up, step right up to the Xingese Cherry Blossom Carnival! The one and only carnival during the month of the Cherry Blossom Festival, April!" The man said. "I am Xin Xaibao, the ringmaster of the Cherry Circus, the main attraction in this joyous event and the organizer of this carnival!" His eyes glowed electric blue, like he was one of the Lightning's demons or something. Leon sensed it, seeing the blue glow of Xin's eyes.

"Is something wrong?" Winry told Leon.

"Never mind." Leon said. "Let's go!" Their first stop was the hammer contest, and Ed was up first. He swung the hammer but didn't make much distance.

"Too bad for you." The attendant with the dark blue tuxedo and white shirt said. "You are weak." Ed got mad.

"WHO ARE YOU CALLING WEAK YOU JERK!" Edward snapped. Leon pounded him on the head.

"Control your anger, Edward." Leon suggested. "Let the main man handle this." Leon tapped into some of the energy he inherited from his father to buff up, ripping off his top to grow very big and muscular. He swung the hammer so hard it broke the bell.

"We have a winner!" The attendant cheered. "Pick your prize!" Leon chose the Envy worm plush.

"All right Leon!" Winry cheered. She high-fived Leon.

Edward went to see a fortune teller, who was a dark skinned woman with long black hair, snake tattoos, and a dark green corset and long skirt.

"Tell me your name?" The Fortune Teller said. "I am Madame Jun."

"I am Edward Elric, former State Alchemist, and now…just a guy." Ed said. Ed started reciting his alchemical notes.

"Water, 35 Liters." Edward said. "Carbon, 20 Kilograms. Ammonia, 4 Liters."

"What are you trying to say?" Jun asked.

"I am trying to say your methods reading of people's fortunes is all an act." Edward answered. "This idea of spirits and gods is pure bullshit because humans are the real gods in their own ways scientifically."

"So you are saying my work is meaningless?" Jun said. "Get out!" She pointed a knife at Edward. He left.

Trisha saw a happy clown with blue afro hair, white skin, a red nose, and a bright blue suit with a red shirt and white tie with blue dots juggling balls and dancing.

"Hey there. kids!" The clown said. "I am Calvin Clown!"

"I am Trisha, and these are my siblings, Aaron and Rosie." Trisha said.

"How about we go play together!" Calvin said.

"Hooray!" The kids replied. Calvin took the kids to his private tent where he would play with them.

Ed came back to Winry and Leon, as they were munching on cotton candy together.

"Have you seen the kids?" Edward asked Winry.

"No." Winry said. "That's so weird." Edward, Leon and Winry went to search for the kids.

Xin Xaibao went to Calvin's tent, seeing the kids dancing to the circus music with Calvin.

"Hey Calvin!" Xin said. He injected Calvin with the demon formula, turning Calvin into a demon. Calvin grew big scary teeth and a menacing grin. He broke the glass on the red box where the axe was, and began chopping at the kids.

"RUN!" Trisha screamed. Trisha, Aaron and Rosie ran from the killer clown.

"COME AND PLAY!" Calvin roared. The kids hid behind a wooden fence, while Calvin was chopping into it.

"I love you, you love me, I will kill your FAMILY!" Calvin sang slowly as he chopped his axe between sentence in the song. He chopped his axe through the fence and stuck his head through the fence.

"Here's Clowny!" Calvin said. A bullet went through Calvin's head, but it had no effect as he regenerated.

"That's enough, demon." Said none other than Roy Mustang, who was wearing a brown leather jacket with a white shirt and blue jeans with black sneakers. Roy was holding the gun that he used to shoot Calvin. Riza was with him, wearing a white coat with a black tank top and black boots and pants.

"Riza, I thought you were in Briggs?" Edward said.

"I was, but now that Briggs is being made into a hotel, I reunited with Roy." Riza said.

"That's great." Roy said. "Run along now, kids. Let me finish this monster." Roy used his Flame Alchemy to roast Calvin, burning him alive. He was burned to a crisp and all that was left of him was his corpse. Roy and Riza led the kids back to find Edward, Leon and Winry.

"Out of Touch" by Hall and Oates played in the background as Roy and Ed reunited together.

"It's been a long time, Fullmetal." Roy said.

"It's been a long time, Colonel." Edward said.

"I am not the Colonel anymore." Roy told Ed. "I am not in charge of anyone at this point, I am just a guy."

"When we get home, we will have a toast, to just us guys." Riza poked Roy.

"And us girls." Riza said.

"And girls." Winry added. Winry, Ed, Leon, Riza and Roy left the carnival together with the kids as the sun was setting over the horizon in the distance.

Meanwhile, "Happy House" by Siouxie and the Banshees was playing in the background as Xin Xaibao, Jun, Zhen, and Kyong met in a tent with the Lightning's insignia on a blue hanging flag above them. They spoke to the Lightning through video chat.

"Well now, how are we, Berry Troupe?" Lightning said.

"Fine." Xin said.

"The Elric family is leaving, I want them captured at once." Lightning ordered. "Also keep an eye on my brother, he could be in the Greed Memorial Shopping District."

"Yes sir." Xin Xaibao said. Lighting ended the transmission.
