A/N: This ties in with my story "Saving Cheryl".
"Have you got everything?" said Lena. She stood in the doorway of Kara's bedroom.
Kara sat on her bed and rummaged through her bags. "Yep, looks like it."
Lena sighed. "I guess this is goodbye then."
Kara got off the bed and put her hand on Lena's shoulder. "Don't worry. I won't be gone for too long and I'll call when I get there."
"You promise?" said Lena.
"I promise," said Kara.
"Well I hope you enjoy your trip," said Lena.
"Thanks," said Kara. "I'm looking forward to seeing my cousins again."
"What are your cousins like?" said Lena.
"The Coopers?" said Kara. "They're good people. Betty and Polly are so nice. And Alice is lovely...she's a caring...well she's a forceful woman."
"I see," said Lena. "Well I look forward to meeting them someday."
"Yeah," said Kara. "Though I should warn you that they live in a pretty odd place."
"Well so do we," said Lena.
"Sure," said Kara. "But it's a different kind of odd. This town has a real creepy vibe to it."
Lena laughed. "Look, at this point there's not much that creeps me out."
"Right," said Kara. "Anyway I've got to get going."
"Good-bye." Lena leaned in and kissed Kara. "Call me when you get there."
