12. Episode 12: Tangled

Now I've been getting request to do Moana but sadly I'm not BUT, yes there's a positive but, on the last season of the series I'm planning for Marie to meet Sofia and see the world that Moana is in being born. The reason is that for every season there's 7 chapters each and after Frozen there will be a regroup and then I'm doing Alice in Wonderland. I'm sorry if I disappointed some of my fans but if I could change everything then you got a year wait to fix EVERYTHING I've written so far. So what you got is what you get I will always give people honorable mentions like I will for Jane. She will be a scout, but she'll be more like Batman: A hero without powers but with weapons. Oh and please summit an attack idea for Merida. Whichever I like I will use in Brave.

Well after Tiana's grand opening of her restaurant, it was getting close to March 4th, Marie's birthday. She will be 24 in her world but since she's in her own time bubble, she doesn't look like she aged a year let alone an hour. As Marie was in her room, that Lottie gave her, and looked at her mirror. She couldn't stop thinking of the kiss that Adam, the Ice King, gave her. And even though she's in dazed about the kiss at the same time, she felt something wasn't right. He felt familiar to her but at the same time, he was a stranger to her. She thought back on the riddle the shaman gave her in Pocahontas' world. 'Is Adam his real name?' she thought. 'Is he an enemy or an ally?' Then she heard a knock.

"Marie sweetie," It was Lottie. "The girls are outside waiting for you. They said that Hatbox is going to come soon."

Marie said, "I'll be there in a few minutes." Once Lottie left, Marie stood up and put on her boots. She looked at the mirror. "Maybe the next worlds can give me answers." she said. She left her room, and went to the backyard of the house.

The girls were already there, waiting for her. Ariel noticed something was wrong. "What's wrong Marie?"

Marie said, "Just thinking of the kiss."

Belle smiled. "Did you like it?"

Marie blushed. "I have to admit that I was never swept off my feet like that before. I mean I always pictured a romantic dance in a ballroom to some sweet soft music from the past in my time. Never of my life I would dance to Jazz cartoony style like that before."

Snow White asked, "So do you like him?"

Marie gently pinched her. "How can I love someone I just meet once in a while and then just kiss me?"

Jasmine asked, "Must I remind you that's what happened to Aurora and Cinderella?"

Marie said, "Well that's different. In my world we don't trust dudes. They're either man-child, cheaters, come with stalkers, abusers, or baby-mamas. And in my world, there's a big track record on those."

Aurora asked, "But why not give one a chance?"

Marie muttered, "Cause most of the time I don't know if I'm gay or straight. I never really had a crush before besides the man I told you about."

Pocahontas asked, "Who?"

Cinderella said, "There was a young man in her world, that she really did like. Even gave her, her first kiss. Sadly they were separated before she even had a chance to tell him how she feels."

Marie said, "And the thing is, I think he was the same boy that gave me my very first kiss in 2nd grade."

Mulan asked, "You lost your very first kiss in 2nd grade?"

Marie said, "Well I barley remember what he looked like, but long story short, we kiss each other multiple times, innocently, but then he moved away and I never saw him again. But they were times, I thought the 2 were the same person."

Tiana asked, "So what's your thought on Ice King?"

"He feels familiar but yet he's a stranger." she replied. "In fact, is Adam his real name? A shaman told me that he'd never reveal his true name and that he can easily be corrupted."

Then there was a bright light and a familiar laugh. Ariel said, "We'll talk about it more later. Hatbox is here."

And soon enough he arrived and parked the buggies. Luckily he didn't ruin the lawn. "Hello again girls. Ready for another world?"

Tiana asked, "We have to ride in these?"

Hatbox said, "It's safest one we have. There's another coaster we have, but if you girls are picky about your hair, it's best if we stick with these." Then he pulled out key ring. "So Tiana, please pick a key."

Tiana looked at the key that had a purple gem and it looked like a sun. "This one please." She picked up the key and showed it to him.

Hatbox took the key. "Then we're going to Germany."

Tiana asked, "Before we go, what did the girls mean by 'world'?"

Hatbox said, "Well to be specific, we're not really going to other worlds. More like different universe with the same solar system, but a different point in time. Which explains the time era with Cinderella, Belle, and Aurora and how they are different. We're saying 'worlds' for short to end complications. And before you ask, no it's not time traveling."

Marie asked, "So the palace where the royals' live?"

"That's a world itself. Bigger then the Kingdom Hearts games, but smaller then earth." he replied. "Like I said it's complicated."

Marie said, "We'll stick with 'worlds' then."

Just then Naveen came to the yard. He ran to Tiana. "Tiana, are you sure you'll be alright?"

Tiana smiled. "I'll be fine Naveen. If I can take down a demon witch doctor I can take on anything."

Naveen hugged and looked at Hatbox. "How many worlds must she go to?" he asked.

He replied, "There's about 3 at the moment. But then I have to collect her again so we can find the others. But to you she'll be gone for a couple of minutes like the others."

Naveen nodded and let Tiana go. "Please be careful."

Tiana kissed him. "I will Naveen."

Then all the girls were in the buggies, Tiana in front with Marie, and off they went to the next world to get the next scout. As they were riding the roller coaster Hatbox said, "This one is going to be a bit hard. Your lockets are going to give you an extra power so you can be the next scout 'imaginary friends'. You'll be able to camouflage so the next minion won't see you, but it won't last long. Once you leave area where she's at, the powers will go away. But it's a one-shot deal so don't waste it."

Intro:

When they arrived at the new world, it was dark and late at night. The girls got out of the buggies and saw a tower. "This is Rapunzel's tower." said Marie.

Hatbox said, "Correct. Now you girls need to sneak inside and hide from Mother Gothel. That's the next minion. Also, like Aurora, you first going to see her a little girl and like before, it's going to fast-forward." He moved his hand and the stones covering the doorway of the tower went away showing stairs. "Now she's in her room, and the minion is asleep so be quiet getting to her room." Then he went away.

The girls quietly went up the tower and once they were inside, the doorway was covered. They saw what was inside the tower, and even though it was a prison, it was very homey. Ariel saw a door opened and waved to the girls to come closer. They peaked inside and saw Mother Gothel asleep. Cinderella put her hand on the wall and saw it disappeared. The other girls saw and when they put their hands on the wall it was away too. That's when they understood what Hatbox was talking about. They leaned against the wall, which camouflage their whole body, and made their way up the stairs to Rapunzel's room. Once inside they saw she was still a kid. Rapunzel was ready to get some sleep when she said, "For my birthday wish tonight, I wish I had some friends." That was the girls cue and they gently walked away from the wall appearing in front of her. Rapunzel gasp. "Who-who are you?"

Marie smiled and gently walked to her. "We're your wish come true. We're your friends."

Rapunzel no longer left afraid. "Wow. You girls are really pretty. What are your names?"

Marie said, "I'm Marie."

Ariel said, "My name is Ariel and I used to be a mermaid."

Belle said, "I'm Belle and I came from an enchanted castle."

Snow White said, "My name is Snow White. I came from a cottage with 7 dwarves."

Jasmine said, "I'm Jasmine and I came from a palace in a desert land."

Aurora said, "I'm Aurora and I came from the woods inhabited by 3 fairies."

Pocahontas said, "My name is Pocahontas and I came from a tribe brought here by good spirits."

Mulan said, "I'm Mulan and I came from a land filled with dragons."

Tiana said, "And I'm Tiana. A famous cook from where I come from."

Rapunzel said, "Wow. I have a lot of friends. But how did you appear like that?"

Marie stood up and went to her bookcase and put her hand on it and it went away. "We can go invisible so we can hide from your mom. But you can't tell her we're here."

Rapunzel asked, "Why?"

Ariel said, "If you do then we have to go away."

Rapunzel got sad. "No I don't want you to go away." Then she hugged them. "You're the only friends I have."

Belle said, "Well we won't be your only friends."

Rapunzel asked, "What do you mean?"

Snow White said, "Well when one child grows up, he or she would forget her imaginary friends for a while."

Jasmine said, "But when the person remembers his or her childhood, they smiled greatly and their friends come back."

Rapunzel said, "Then I don't want to grow up."

Aurora said, "Honey, everyone grows up sooner or later. But the perfect part of life is it's okay to be young at heart."

Cinderella said, "We're like that and at the same time, we're strong women."

Rapunzel asked, "But what if I never see you again?"

Pocahontas said, "We will always be in your heart."

Mulan said, "We won't forget you and I'm sure you'll do the same."

Rapunzel said, "But then I'll be lonely."

Tiana said, "But at the same time, I'm sure you'll make other friends. Who knows maybe one of them will be an animal."

Rapunzel asked, "But until then, can you stay?"

Marie said, "Like we're ever going to leave a beautiful girl like you."

Rapunzel giggled. During the night, the 11 of them would talk softly so that Mother Gothel wouldn't wake up. It wasn't until 3 o'clock, time-wise, Rapunzel was getting sleepy. Marie said, "I think someone needs to get some sleep."

Rapunzel said, "But I'm not sleepy."

Ariel said, "Keep telling yourself that. But you need to sleep."

Rapunzel lay down on her bed and the girls pulled the blanket up, tucked her in, turned off the night, and then their lockets glowed and time started to fast-forward. It wasn't as fast or time skip as Aurora's world, but it was enough for the next morning. The girls quickly leaned against the wall and they went away when time stopped. They slowly went down stairs where Mother Gothel was brushing Rapunzel's hair. "I'm not feeling well little flower. Can you sing for me?"

"Okay mommy." said Rapunzel. Then she started to sing a special song and her long hair started to glow. "Flower gleam and glow. Let your power shine. Make the clock reverse. Bring back what once was mine, what once was mine." Mother Gothel felt better as she continued to brush Rapunzel's hair. "Why can't I go outside?"

Mother Gothel said, "The outside world is a dangerous place, filled with horrible, selfish people. You must stay here, where you're safe. Do you understand, little flower?"

She replied, "Yes mommy."

Once Mother Gothel was done she said, "Alright Rapunzel. How about you go to your room and draw for a bit?"

Rapunzel got up from her stool. "Okay mommy." She went upstairs but the girls, still hidden remained downstairs.

They saw Mother Gothel go to her mirror and with a simple touch of it she saw that she was watching the girls pass battles, mostly against Gaston. After Gaston was defeated she said, "Even a wolf can be pathetic. Still got some time though. Might as well enjoy it." she said. The girls looked at each other as they saw the mirror movie. Apparently, they went back in time where Aurora, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Mulan, and Tiana weren't even discovered yet. Then they saw something that really disturbs them. They saw small snakes coming out of her hair. Mother Gothel saw them and said, "Not yet my pretties. Get back in there." The snakes went back into her hair. She not even tried to hide hints of her second form.

As Mother Gothel was watching the mirror, the girls quietly walked up the stairs to Rapunzel's room. Once in there, she shut the door and became visible again, they saw that Rapunzel's in her little room coloring and the girls huddle together. Marie said, "Okay I did not expect to see that from Gothel."

Ariel said, "I'm still shocked that we're back in time to when half of us were fighting Jafar. That means this world had a big time skip then we thought."

Belle asked, "What are we going to do?"

Pocahontas asked, "What did your locket do for you?"

Snow White said, "When we were in Aurora's world, she was just a new born baby and we just fast forward her 16 years."

Mulan asked, "You think this it's going to happen again?"

Jasmine said, "If it doesn't then I don't think there's an even number for a year skip."

Aurora said, "Well if it does happen then we have to keep a close eye on out jewels for when they glow we skip through time."

Tiana said, "That and we need to be close to a wall or something so we won't be seen by Gothel."

Cinderella said, "At least until we absolutely have to leave the tower."

Marie said, "For now we'll just play be ear cause to be honest I thought we would be here around her 18th birthday. Not way before it. Agree?"

The others agreed and went to Rapunzel. Ariel asked, "What are you drawing Rapunzel?"

Rapunzel turned her head and saw them. "I'm painting me see?" she held up the picture to them.

Belle said, "Wow you have a natural talent Rapunzel. Even I don't draw like this."

Snow White said, "Maybe one day you can open your own gallery."

Rapunzel said, "Well I was thinking when I get older, I'll ask mom if I can paint on the walls."

Jasmine asked, "How about when you're done with this drawing, you go to her and show it to her? Maybe one day she will."

Rapunzel asked, "Can you help me please?"

Aurora said, "You got it."

Rapunzel gave everyone a sheet of paper and a crayon and started to draw. When they were done, they put the sheets together and found out they made a giant landscape out of it. "Wow." said Rapunzel. "I really am good." Then she started to roll it up. "I'm going to show this to mom. Wait here." She left her room to go to Mother Gothel. They leaned against the wall and once invisible, they went downstairs and watched as Rapunzel showed Mother Gothel the picture. "Look mommy. I made this all by myself." She unrolled the big picture and the girls had to hell in their laughs when they saw Mother Gothel's face.

"You made this huge picture by yourself? You certainly have a talent young lady." said Gothel.

Rapunzel asked, "When I get bigger will it be alright if I paint on the walls?"

Mother Gothel's looked around the tower and had to admit, it was bland. "Alright, I'll make you a deal, when your hair gets long enough for you to climb it, then I'll give you paint and you can paint on the wall."

Rapunzel said, "But I can already."

Mother Gothel then looked at the ceiling. She pointed it to one of the building boards. "Alright you see that piece of wood on the very top of the tower?"

"Yes." said Rapunzel.

"If you can get your hair over that board and you'll be able to climb it, I'll give you paint, but until then, all your art work will be on paper only. Understand?" asked Gothel.

"It's a deal." she hugged her. The girls smiled. At least that explains how she gets to one end of the room to the other. Though in Marie's world the trailer was misleading saying the hair comes alive.

Mother Gothel hugged her back. "Now go back upstairs. I have to wax the floor and I don't want you to get hurt again. Remember last time you hit the table? Yeah you lost a baby tooth but it took a while to clean the blood."

Rapunzel said, "Okay mommy." She ran back upstairs and soon the girls follow her and once inside Rapunzel started to practice using one of the coat hooks that are on the wall. Sadly that her hair wasn't long enough. "Aw man. I don't think I can do it."

The girls became visible again. Tiana said, "I'm sure you can, you just got to take care of your hair. What would happen if we cut it?"

Rapunzel showed her the single brown lock of hair. "My mom says that the magic goes away and it turns brown. I asked her who cut it but she said she'll tall me when I get older."

Mulan said, "Then you're going to need a strong brush." She picked up a small strand. "I can see that it's already getting tangled."

Rapunzel said, "I do have a brush but it hurts every time I use it."

Pocahontas said, "I think I can fix it. Can you hand me your brush?" Rapunzel ran to her dresser and got the hairbrush and gave it to Pocahontas. She looked at the bristles. "I see the problem."

Rapunzel asked, "What is it?"

Cinderella said, "You see, you have thick hair like the most of us. So the brush you need are bristles that are different measurements." She took the brush and gently broke some of them and then handed it back to her. "Try it now."

Rapunzel took the brush and started to brush her hair. "Hey. It doesn't hurt anymore." She started to brush more and soon the knots were gone and it was no longer tangled. "Wow. It's really smooth. When mom brushes my hair it feels like she gently touches it."

Aurora said, "Well she probably does that so it won't hurt you. She probably doesn't have this kind of brush, but now you do."

Rapunzel put it back. "Do you guys have magic like me?"

Jasmine said, "Well so far we can only be invisible whenever your mom is around."

Rapunzel asked, "Nothing more?"

Snow White said, "Sorry sweaty. But sometimes the magic is already inside of us and it's up to us to release it."

Rapunzel asked, "How?"

Belle said, "Well let me give you some examples. For Ariel, when she was turned back into a mermaid, she saved her loved one not once, but twice and as a reward, her father made her human permanently."

Rapunzel asked, "What's a mermaid?"

Ariel said, "A mermaid is a half human half fish type of person." She sat down and said, "Imagine my legs here are fish fins and that's a mermaid."

Rapunzel said, "Cool. Who else have hidden magic?"

Marie said, "Well for Belle, when she lost her dearest friend, who was a cursed beast, she set him free and broke the spell. For Snow White, her magic is standing up to her stepmother who wasn't a nice person. Same for Cinderella and Jasmine, though her enemy was a different person and it's the same for Aurora."

Rapunzel said, "Wow."

Marie said, "Now for Pocahontas, Mulan, and Tiana, their hidden magic is a bit different. For Pocahontas, she prevented a war between 2 tribes. Mulan actually saved her people from a war, and Tiana stood up for herself and worked hard for her dream to come true."

Rapunzel asked, "So not all magic is sparkles like me?"

Marie said, "Not all. But there is one that all of us has?"

Rapunzel grew excited. "What is it? What is it?"

Ariel asked, "You see these lockets around out necks?" Rapunzel nodded. "Well there's going to be times where you will not need us and when that happens these glow and we have to go."

Rapunzel grew sad and hugged them. "No! I don't want you to go!"

Belle said, "We're sorry Rapunzel, but think of it this way." She wiped away her tears. "There is something you should understand about the way we work. When you need us but do not want us, then we must stay. When you want us but no longer need us, then we have to go. It's rather sad, really, but there it is."

Snow White said, "So there will be times where we will be here and times where we won't, but always remain young at heart and you'll always see magic."

Rapunzel wiped her eyes. "I promise." Then she saw the lockets glow. "No I want you here."

Jasmine said, "Sorry Rapunzel but like Belle said, you don't need us yet. But we won't be gone forever though. Well see each other again."

Rapunzel asked, "You promise?"

Aurora said, "We never break a promise and neither should you." The girls then went against the wall and turned invisible.

In the girls point of view they saw Rapunzel's fast-forward until she aged 4 more years. Once it was done, it was nighttime and the girls came into view. Cinderella said, "Well long time no see Rapunzel."

Rapunzel saw them. "You're back." Ran to them and hugged them. "I missed you so much. I did see you for so long."

Pocahontas said, "Well we're here so you need us for something. What is it?"

Rapunzel said, "Well I want to help mother with the chores but she says I don't know how. Can you help me?"

Mulan said, "Sure but I think you already know. What the first thing you think you need help on?"

Rapunzel said, "Well I don't know how to make food. I've read the book but I nearly made a mess last time."

Tiana said, "Well that's my specialty. I can teach you. But we have to wait until your isn't here so we can go into the kitchen."

Rapunzel said, "Well it's almost morning. Can you wait until she leaves?"

Marie said, "We can. We don't mind."

Soon morning came and Rapunzel got dressed and went downstairs where Mother Gothel was finishing making breakfast. "Now Rapunzel, I'm going to go shopping in town, do you want anything?" she asked.

Rapunzel asked, "Maybe some paints? I'm getting really good with my pictures."

Gothel said, "Very well. I think there are some good ones, but it's going to take me a few days. Will you be all right for that long? I mean I can prebake food for you."

Rapunzel said, "I'll be fine mother. I might take that time to maybe practice some things anyway."

Gothel said, "Very well. I'll go but first finish your breakfast." As the 2 ate, the girls quietly made there way downstairs but stayed against the wall until Gothel leaves. After breakfast, Gothel got her cloak on. "Now are you sure you'll be alright by yourself?"

Rapunzel said, "I'll be fine mother." She hugged her.

Gothel said, "I love you so much."

"I love you more."

"I love you the most." She pecked her head and left through the stairs way.

Rapunzel looked outside her window and once she didn't see Gothel anymore she said, "Clear." Then the girls came into view again. "We got about 2 or 3 days time so I can learn how to cook."

Tiana said, "Oh don't worry about that. I can teach you how to cook in less then that. Now where's your cook book?" Rapunzel got her cookbook from her bookshelf that only had 3 books and gave it to Tiana. Tiana looked through the pages until she found a recipe. "Here's an easy one. Making cookies." She put the book down and said, "Now me and the girls are going to make them but I want you to watch carefully on how we make them."

Rapunzel said, "Okay." So the girls started to cook and as they did, Rapunzel watched very carefully on how to make the cookies. When they were done, they put the tray on the oven top so it can cool off.

Tiana said, "Now that you saw us cooking, you try now."

Rapunzel said, "Okay." Rapunzel started to make her own batch of cookies. She made all the right measurements, made sure to add the ingredients at the right time, and put it in the over carefully. After it was done, the scouts pulled it out and Tiana took a bite. "How is it?"

Tiana smiled. "Well visual aid is your teacher cause these cookies are really good." The other girls agreed.

Rapunzel asked, "Really?" Rapunzel took a bite and she loved them. "Yummy. I guess I'm a good cook. How did you learn Tiana?"

Tiana said, "Well come people have a gift for certain talents. Like you with your paintings, me with my cooking."

Rapunzel asked, "What about you girls?"

Marie said, "Well I'm good with writing."

Ariel said, "Singing,"

Belle said, "Story telling."

Snow White said, "Singing and take care of animals."

Jasmine said, "I also take good care of animals, since I have a pet tiger."

Aurora said, "Making clothes."

Cinderella said, "Mine is more of house cleaning, but I'm also good at dancing."

Pocahontas said, "Animal and plant care."

Mulan said, "Self defense." Rapunzel looks at her weird. "A girl needs to take care of herself. In fact…" She picked up a skillet and tested out the metal. "Use this, they'll be knocked out for a LONG time."

Rapunzel got it and it was a bit heavy. "Well it's heavy enough." Then she saw the lockets glow. "You're going again?"

Marie said, "I'm afraid so hon. But we will be back."

Rapunzel asked, "How will I know?"

Ariel kneeled down and put her hand on her shoulder. "There will be visits but then we will be here when you reach your crucial age." Then they disappeared.

The girls leaned against the wall and went invisible as time went fast again. This time all the way up to when she is close to her 18th birthday. When time stopped, and Rapunzel was alone, the girls came visible again. Rapunzel saw them and smiled. "Boy have I missed you girls." She ran to them and hugged them. "So much as happened since you girls were gone."

Ariel picked her LONG hair. "We can tell. How long is it now?"

"70 feet long. It can travel everywhere."

Belle looked around the room. "And judging from this, your art work has improve dramatically."

Rapunzel said, "Oh yeah. I can even paint places I thought I could reach." Then a little chameleon crawled on her shoulder. "Oh and this is my new friend. Pascal."

Snow White said, "Aw he's cute." Pascal blushed pink.

Jasmine asked, "How are you and your mother?"

Rapunzel said, "We're been fine. She actually doesn't mind the paintings and she's been using my hair to get back into the tower. The original doorway is blocked now."

Aurora asked, "But don't you get bored here by yourself?"

Rapunzel said, "Not really. In fact mother told me why I must stay here."

Cinderella asked, "What did she say?"

Rapunzel showed them the single brown hair. "When I was a baby, people tried to cut it. They wanted to take it for themselves. But like it shows, once it's cut, it turns brown and looses its power."

Pocahontas knew that wasn't the total truth. "Anything else you noticed that's different?"

Rapunzel shook her head 'no'. "No not really. Why?"

Mulan covered her. "We're just worried since it's been a while since we've seen you."

Rapunzel smiled. "Well you don't really have to worry about that. I've been practicing self defense with the skillet you gave me."

Tiana asked, "Speaking of which, how's the cooking?"

Rapunzel said, "Going great. Up to the point mother won't worry about me starving when she goes somewhere." Then she got an idea. "You know she won't be back for a while. How about we play a game?"

Marie asked, "What do you have in mind?"

Rapunzel asked, "How about hide and seek?"

Ariel said, "It might be hard since we can camo against anything."

Rapunzel said, "Well same with Pascal but I always find him." The girl figured why not and all started to play the game.

After an hour or so, outside of the tower Pascal went outside, out of breath, hid against a pot and changed color to match. Then Rapunzel opened the window hoping to catch him. She already found the others. "Ha." She looked to right and thought up of a plan. "Hmm. Well, I guess Pascal's not hiding out here…" She walked away, Pascal sniggers but she found him with her hair wrapped around his tail. "Gotcha!" Pascal gave up. Rapunzel put him. "That's 22 for me, 0 for the girls. How about 23 out of 45?"

Snow White said, "I don't think there's much point in doing hide and seek anymore." Pascal frowned.

Rapunzel asked, "Okay, well, what do you wanna do?"

Pascal pointed outside. "Yeah let's go outside." said Jasmine.

Rapunzel said, "Yeah, I don't think so. I like it in here and so do you guys."

Pascal sticks his tongue at her. Aurora giggled. "My thoughts exactly."

Rapunzel said, "Oh come on guys, it's not so bad in there…" Then Rapunzel opened up the ceiling and started to sing about what she does everyday. "7 AM, the usual morning lineup: Start on the chores and sweep 'til the floor's all clean. Polish and wax, do laundry, and mop and shine up. Sweep again, and by then it's like 7:15. And so I'll read a book. Or maybe two or three. I'll add a few new paintings to my gallery. I'll play guitar and knit. And cook and basically. Just wonder when will my life begin?"

Then she got an idea while looking at the space above the fireplace. Cinderella asked, "You got an idea?"

Rapunzel got her paints out and started on her new masterpiece. "Then after lunch it's puzzles and darts and baking. Paper Mache, a bit of ballet and chess. Pottery and ventriloquy, candle making. Then I'll stretch, maybe sketch, take a climb, Sew a dress! And I'll reread the books, if I have time to spare. I'll paint the walls some more, I'm sure there's room somewhere. And then I'll brush and brush, and brush and brush my hair. Stuck in the same place I've always been. And I'll keep wonderin' and wonderin'. And wonderin' and wonderin'. When will my life begin?" Then she went to her window. "Tomorrow night, Lights will appear. Just like they do on my birthday each year. What is it like Out there where they glow? Now that I'm older, Mother might just let me go ..."

Meanwhile, 4 men were on top of the castle roofs going to a certain room to steal something. One of then name Rider looked at the view along with his friend: Adam, while their partner twins were doing the work. Flynn said, "Wow! I could get used to a view like this."

Adam put a hand on his shoulder. "One could only dream."

One of the twins said, "Rider! Adam! C'mon!"

Flynn said, "Hold on. Yup. I'm used to it. Guys I want a caste."

Adam said, "All you're missing is an island."

One of the twins said, "We do this job. You can but your own castle."

They lowered Flynn into a room where a guard there guarded the lost princess's crown. Then the guard sneezed. "Oh Hay fever?"

"Yea." Then he realizes there has been an intruder. "Huh?" Flynn smiled and was pulled up to the roof. "Hey, wait. Hey Wait!"

Then the 4 got away. "Can't you picture me in a castle of my own? Coz I certainly can. All the things we've seen and it's only 8 in the morning."

Adam said, "Gentlemen this is a very big day!"

Back in the tower, Rapunzel was getting excited. "Someone's excited. What's up?" asked Pocahontas.

Rapunzel said, "This is it. This is a very big day. I'm finally gonna do it. I'm gonna ask her."

Mulan said, "I don't think we got much answers."

Then they heard Gothel. "Rapunzel!"

Tiana said, "That's our cue." They went upstairs to hide there.

"Let down your hair!"

Rapunzel said, "It's time." Pascal straightens up. "I know, I know, come on, don't le her see you." He hid away.

"Rapunzel, I'm not getting any younger down here."

Rapunzel got to the window. "Coming, mother." She put some of her hair on a hook and lowered it down. Gothel hang on to it as Rapunzel pulled her up. Once Gothel was at the window Rapunzel said, "Hi. Welcome home, mother."

Gothel said, "Uh, Rapunzel! How you manage to do that every single day without fail! It looks absolutely exhausting, daring."

Rapunzel said, "Oh, it's nothing."

Gothel said, "Then I don't know why it takes so long!" Then she laughs. "Darling, I'm just teasing." Then she went to the mirror.

Rapunzel grew more nervous. "Alright, so, mother, as you know, tomorrow is a very big day—"

Then Gothel interrupted her. "Rapunzel, look in that mirror. You know what I see? I see a strong, confident, beautiful young lady." Rapunzel smiled thinking she was talking about her. "Oh look, you're here too." Then she started to laugh. "I'm just teasing! Stop taking everything so seriously, agh."

Rapunzel tried again. "Okay, so mother, as I was saying, tomorrow—"

But again Gothel interrupted. "Rapunzel, mother's feeling a little run-down. Would you sing for me, dear? That'll do."

Rapunzel said, "Oh! Of course, mother." She hurried up to get things ready and when Gothel sat down with a brush, Rapunzel starting to sing fast. "Flower, gleam and glow. Let your power shine. Make the clock reverse."

"Wait!"

"Bring back what once was mine."

"Wait!"

"Heal what has been hurt. Change the fate's design," Gothel brushes the hair quickly as possible as it glows. "Save what has been lost, bring back what once was mine."

With that rush, Gothel turned young. "Rapunzel!"

She was about to scold her but Rapunzel beat her to it. "So, mother, earlier, I was saying tomorrow's a pretty big day and you didn't really respond, so I'm just gonna tell you, it's my birthday! Uh. Tada!"

Gothel said, "No, no, no, can't be. I distinctly remember: your birthday was last year."

Rapunzel said, "That's the funny thing about birthdays—they're kind of an annual thing. Uh. Mother, I'm turning 18, and I wanted to ask, uh, what I really want for this birthday…Actually what I really want for my birth—want for my birth—"

Gothel stopped her. "Okay, Rapunzel, please, stop the mumbling. You know how I feel about the mumbling—blah-blah-blah-blah, it's very annoying, I'm just teasing, you're adorable, I love you do much darling. Agh."

The girls heard this entire upstairs. Marie whispered to them. "She sounds like my cousin's wife when they talk to my aunt. I can't wait to finally tell her off."

Rapunzel said, "Agh, I want to see the floating lights."

Gothel asked, "Uh-huh. What?"

"Oh. Well, I was hoping you would take me to see the floating lights." she said.

Gothel said, "Oo. You mean the stars."

Rapunzel showed her the star chart she painted on the floor. "That's the thing. I've charted starts and they're always constant." Then she went to her latest painting. "But these, they appear every year on my birthday, mother—Only on my birthday. And I can't help but feel like they're…they're meant for me. I need to see them, mother, and not just from my window. In person. I have to know what they are."

Gothel got up and went to the window. "You want to go outside? Why, Rapunzel!" Then she closed the window. "Look at you, as fragile as a flower. Still a little sapling, just a sprout." She patted her head. "You know why we stay up in this tower."

"I know but…"

"That's right, you keep you safe and sound dear." She hugged her hair. Then she closed the curtains. "Guess I always knew this day was coming. Knew that soon you'd want to leave the nest." Then she went up the stairs slightly. "Soon but not yet."

"But—"

She shushes her. "Shh! Trust me, pet. Mother knows best." Then she hit the hall with her hip and the lights went out. As Rapunzel lights up a candle, Gothel tries to scare her (Give her Twilight and that'll do the trick. Bad books always do the trick). "Mother knows best. Listen to your mother."

"Agh!"

"It's a scary world out there. Mother knows best one way or another something will go wrong, I swear. Ruffians, thugs, poison ivy, quicksand, cannibals and snakes…the plague!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"But—"

"Also large bugs." She hits her in the back with the mop.

"Agh!"

"Men with pointy teeth, and stop, no more, you'll just upset me. Mother's right here, mother will protect you. Darling here's what I suggest." Rapunzel saw Gothel on the stairs that was lit with candles. "Skip the drama, stay with mama. Mother knows best." Then she used her cape to blow them out.

Marie said, "Almost sounds like my parents."

Then Gothel was trying to insult her. "Mother knows best. Take it form you mumsy. On your own, you won't survive. Sloppy, underdressed, immature, clumsy. Please they'll eat you up alive. Gullible, naïve, positively grubby, ditzy and a bit, hmm vague. Plus, I believe, gettin' kinda chubby. I'm just saying 'cause I wuv you. Mother understands, mother's here to help you. All I have is one request." Rapunzel tried to look for her but then she saw light behind her and saw Gothel and hugged her. "Rapunzel?"

"Yes?"

Gothel glared at her. "Don't ever ask to leave this tower again."

Rapunzel sighs and looks down. "Yes, mother."

Gothel smiled and lifted her chin up. "Uh, I love you very much dear."

Rapunzel smiles at her. "I love you more."

"I love you the most." She kisses her forehead. "Don't forget it, you'll regret it. Mother knows best!"

After that, Gothel was going back down to the grown. "Rapunzel! I'll see you in a bit, my flower."

Rapunzel said, "I'll be here."

After Gothel left, the girls went downstairs. Ariel said, "Man can she give a good guilt trip."

Rapunzel turned her head and smiled at her friends. "She just wants to protect me."

Belle asked, "But can't you 2 compromise?"

Rapunzel shrugged. "I tried before and again just now."

Snow White asked, "But had you try to go outside but just stay near the tower?"

Rapunzel said, "Try that. She said, that it's rare for me to have blonde hair and I'll get spotted."

Meanwhile, Flynn, Adam and the Stabbington Brothers raised through the forest, the satchel was with Flynn. Not far behind was the Royal Guards, led by the general, going after the thieves for the crown. As they passed a tree full of wanted posters Flynn picked on and panicked. "Uh, uh…Agh! Oh no. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, this is…this is very bad, this is really bad…" He showed them the posters. "They just can't get my nose right!"

Adam groans. "Forgive me for saying this but who care?"

Flynn said, "Well it's easy for the Stabbington Brothers! You guys look amazing." The 4 continued to run but were soon boxed in. "Uh, all right, okay, give me and Adam a boost, and we'll pull you up."

One of the brothers said, "Give us the satchel first."

Adam took this an offensive. "Uh? I just—I can't believe that after all we've been through together, you don't trust us?"

Flynn said, "Ouch."

The twins looked at each other. The sounds of horses and shouting guards came closer. They silently agreed. Flynn lifted herself onto the twins' shoulders, and hoisted up in a swift movement and helped Adam up. Flynn settled himself at the top of the cliff. "Now help us up Ryder."

"Sorry...my hands are full." Flynn revealed the satchel in his hand. Then the 2 ran off. The sound of the twins yelling after them was soon overpowered by the rumbling of horses.

Meanwhile the guards were hot on their trail. "Retrieve that satchel at an cost!"

"Yes sir!"

Maximus neighs, and the other broth horses neigh in reply. Flynn and Adam were being chased.

"We got him now, Maximus!"

The chase continues but then the captain got knocked off and Flynn and Adam were riding on Maximus. "Ya, haha!-Oh!"

Maximus comes to a abrupt halt. "Ugh! Com on, fleabag, forward!" Maximus stares at the satchel only. The 3 were soon fighting over the satchel to the point they were on a branch and because of the weight it breaks. When they landed Adam and Flynn got away. They headed farther into the darkness. Then they found some light and followed it. They gasped as a huge stone tower sat in the middle of the small canyon.

"Wow..." Adam smirked and ran towards it. "Talk about 5 star living..."

The stones were uneven and easy to climb. The 2 lifted themselves onto the ledge and pushed the doors open. Once inside, Flynn opened the bag and the 2 looked inside. "Alone at last." Then Rapunzel knocked them out.

The girls heard the noise and went downstairs. "What's going on?" asked Jasmine.

Rapunzel said, "Intruders."

Then Marie recognizes one of them. "Looks like Adam, the Ice King is here."

Rapunzel looked at her confused. "Who?"

Marie said, "Long story short, he helps me out and at the same time we sorta like each other." She blushed.

Then Rapunzel hid them in the closet. "Okay, okay, okay, I've got people in my closet. I've got people in my closet." Then she smiles. "I've got people in my closet! Haha! Uh! Too weak to handle myself out there, huh mother? Well…hmm-hmm…tell that to my frying pan—" Then she hits herself in the head. Then she looked down and saw the bag. She opened it and found a crown. "What's this?"

Aurora said, "It's a crown." Rapunzel put it on her arm and looks at it like a magnifying lens until Aurora gently takes it. "No no. This is how you put it on." Then she placed the crown on Rapunzel's head. She looks down at Pascal and he shakes his head.

Then they heard a voice. "Rapunzel!"

Cinderella said, "Got to hide!" The girls went into Rapunzel's bedroom to hide again.

"Let's down you hair!"

"One moment mother!"

"I have a big surprise!"

Rapunzel let down her hair and pulled her up. "Uh, I do too!"

"Oo, I bet my surprise is bigger!"

"I seriously doubt it."

Once in the room Gothel said, "I brought back persnips. I'm going to make hazelnut soup for dinner, your favorite—surprise!"

Then Rapunzel said, "Well mother, there's something I want to tell you."

Gothel started to put some of her stuff away. "Oh, Rapunzel, you know I hate leaving you after a fight especially when I've done absolutely nothing wrong."

"Okay, I've been thinking a lot about what you've said earlier and…"

"I hope you're not sill taking about the stars."

"Floating light and yes, I'm leading p to that and…"

"Because I really thought we dropped the issue, sweetheart."

"No mother, I'm just saying you think I'm not string enough to handle myself out there."

"Oh darling, I know you're not strong enough to handle yourself out there."

"But if you just—"

"Rapunzel, we're done talking about this—"

"Trust me—"

"Rapunzel—"

"Oh, come on—"

Then Gothel yelled at her. "Enough of the lights, Rapunzel! You are not leaving this tower! Ever!" Rapunzel was silent. Gothel sat down in the chair. "Ugh, great. Now I'm the bad guy."

Rapunzel looks at her painting of the lights then at her closet. "All I was gonna say, mother, is that, I know what I want for my birthday now."

"And what is that?"

"New paint. The paint made from the white shells you once brought me."

Gothel said, "Well, that is a very long trip, Rapunzel. Almost 3 days time."

"I just thought it was better idea then…stars."

Gothel said, "You're sure you'll be all right on your own?"

Rapunzel smiled. "I know I'm safe as long as I'm here."

Gothel kissed her head and soon she was out of the tower. "I'll be back in 3 days' time. I love you very much dear."

"I love you more."

"I love you the most."

As soon as Gothel vanishes, the girls went down stairs and Rapunzel rushes back to her closet. She opened the door and the 2 fell out. Cinderella said, "Well that's a pleasant scenery."

Soon the 2 were tied to the chair by Rapunzel's hair and the 2 woke up. The 2 started to struggle out of their binds. "Struggling…struggling is pointless." The 2 looked forward and saw Rapunzel. "I know why you're here, and I'm not afraid of you."

"What?" asked the 2.

"Who are you? And how did you find me?"

Adam said, "I know not who you are, nor how we came to find you, but may I just say…" He saw Marie. "Hey gorgeous. Want a round 2 of that dance we went through." Marie looked away and blushes.

Rapunzel said, "Okay you check out Ice King, but what about you?" She pointed to Flynn. "Who else knows my location?"

Flynn said, "First my name is Flynn Rider."

"Rapunzel."

Flynn said, "Gesundheit. Here's the deal. We were in a situation, gallivanting through the forest. We came cross your tower and…" Then he started to worry. "Where is my satchel?"

Rapunzel said, "I've hidden it, somewhere you 2 will never find it."

Adam and Flynn saw the pot. "It's in that pot, isn't it?" Then they got knocked out again.

Pocahontas said, "I think you're over doing this."

Then the 2 woke up when Pascal tongued their ear. "Would you stop that?"

Rapunzel said, "Not it's hidden where you'll never find it. So what do you want with my hair? To cut it?"

"What?"

"Sell it?"

Flynn said, "No! Listen, the only think we want to do with your hair is to get out of it. Literally."

Rapunzel said, "Wait. You don't want my hair?"

Adam said, "Why on earth would we want your hair? Look, we were being chased, we saw the tower, we climbed it, end of story."

Rapunzel asked, "You're…telling the truth?"

Both said, "Yes."

Mulan had to break this up. "How about we make a deal?"

Flynn asked, "First off who are you girls and did I mistake this tower as a brothel?"

Marie slapped him. Adam said, "You wouldn't have said that. I know these girls and all of them have husbands or boyfriend. Except for Marie, I have my eye on here." He looked at her sexy, which made Marie blush.

Flynn sighs. "Fine what's the deal?"

Tiana went to Rapunzel's painting. "Do you know what these are?"

Flynn said, "You mean the lantern thing they do for the princess?"

Rapunzel said, "Lanterns. I knew they weren't stars. Well, tomorrow evening they will light the night sky with these lanterns. You will act as our guide, take to these lanterns, and return us home safely. Then, and only then, will I return your satchel to you. That's my deal."

Flynn said, "Yeah. No can do. Unfortunately, the kingdom and I aren't exactly 'simpatico' at the moment. So I won't be taking you anywhere."

Adam whispered to Flynn. "You do know that the other girls can kick our asses right? Especially Mulan since she took down an army using snow."

Flynn paled at the moment and looked at Mulan. She said, "It only took my a cannon and a mountain."

Flynn looked at Adam. "Can't get out of it huh?" Adam shook his head. "Fine you got a deal. But you better keep the deal."

Rapunzel said, "I never break a promise."

After a while, everyone was in the ground except for Rapunzel. "You comin' blonde?"

"Look at the world so close, and I'm halfway to it! Look at it all so big, so I even dare? Look at me, there at last! I just have to do it. Should I? No. Here I go…" She went down her hair and just before she landed, she stopped herself. Then she slowly stepped onto the grass. "Just smell the grass! The dirt! Just like I dreamed they'd be! Just feel that summer breeze, the way it's calling me. For like the first time ever, I'm completely free! I could go running, and racing, and dancing, and chasing, and leaping, and reeling, and finally feeling. That's when my life begins! I can't believe." Then she started to have conflicting feelings and the others just watched. "I can't believe I did this...I CAN'T BELIEVE I DID THIS...Mother would be so furious...well that's ok, what she doesn't know won't kill her right?...omigosh this would kill her...THIS IS SO FUN!...I am a horrible daughter, I'm going back...I AM NEVER GOING BAAAACK...I am a DESPICABLE human being…"

Flynn finally got enough. "You know, I can't help but notice you seem a little at way with yourself here."

"What?"

"Now I'm only picking up bits and pieces, of course. Overprotective mother, forbidden road trip. I mean, this is serious stuff. But let me ease your conscience. This is part of growing up. A little rebellion, a little adventure, that's good, healthy even!"

Rapunzel asked, "You think?"

Flynn said, "I know. You're a way over-thinking this, thrust me. Does your mother deserve it? No. Would this break her heart and crush her soul? Of course."

"FLYNN!" Yell the girls.

"But you just got to do it." Then he got an idea. "All right, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm letting you out of the deal."

"What?"

"That's right. But don't thank me. Let's just turn around and get you home and your friends, I get my satchel, you get a mother-daughter relationship based on mutual trust and voila! We part ways as unlikely friends."

Rapunzel shook her head. "No! I am seeing those lanterns—"

"Oh come on! What is it going to take to get my satchel back?"

Then they heard something rustling in the bushes. "Is it ruffians? Thugs? Have they come for me?"

Then a rabbit came out. Snow White shook her head. "And I look back when I freaked out in the forest and thought I acted ridiculous."

Rapunzel said, "Well sorry but you guys weren't here to teach me to be brave."

Then Flynn got an idea. Adam looked at him and said, "Don't you dare."

He shuts him up. "Are you hungry? I know a great place for lunch."

"Oh where?"

"Don't you worry. You'll know when you smell it."

Meanwhile, Maximus was looking around and then he growled as he eyes Ryder's wanted poster. He sniffed the air and raced off. Gothel nearly screamed as the horse charged onto her and knocked her to the ground. "Uh, a Palace horse." Then she gasped. "Where's our rider?" Then she ran home. "Rapunzel!" Maximus stared at the old woman curiously, but shrugged and continued forward. She arrived back at the tower and called out to her. "Rapunzel, let down your hair!" But nothing. "Rapunzel?" She searches around for her but nothing. She found the old opening and once she moved them she went up. She coughed on cobwebs and heaved the floor tile out of its place. "RAPUNZLE!" She looked around the empty room. She collapsed on the floor in a fit of tears. Wiping her eyes, she surveyed the room. "You couldn't have gotten far..." Gothel walked into her room and pulled a dagger from her bedside drawer. She tucked it into his cloak and left the tower. But just before she did, Gothel caught a glimpse of something in the floorboards of the stars. She picked up a leather satchel in curiosity and opened it. She reached inside and pulled something shiny out. She shrieked and dropped the glistening crown. Trembling, she reached into the bag and pulled out a wanted poster and a map of the region. Gothel, carefully picked up the crown and headed towards the closest thing on the map.

The Snuggling Duckling a.k.a The Largest Criminal hangout West of the kingdom. "Aw there it is...the Snuggly Duckling. Don't worry, very quaint place, perfect for you. Don't want you scaring and giving up on this whole endeavor now do we?"

Rapunzel admired the little inn. "Well...I do like ducklings."

Marie said, "It doesn't look so bad."

"YAY!" Flynn pulled her along towards the door. In one swift motion he kicked it open. "Garcon, your finest table please!"

Rapunzel gasped as a variety of tough, angry-looking men turned towards them. Different sizes and shapes, each dude had at least 3 weapons and 4 tattoos. One even looked like a drag. Flynn walked inside and everyone else followed him. "You smell that? Take a deep breath through the nose. Really let that seep in." Rapunzel gasped as something caught her hair. It was a small pudgy men with a horned helmet. She squeaked and ran forward, her hair dragging along with her. "What are you getting? Because to me…that's part man-smell, and the other part is really bad man-smell."

The girls held their noses. "Smells worst then the kitty litter back home." said Marie.

"I don't know why, but overall it just smell like the color brown. Your thoughts?"

"That's a lot of hair." said the man.

"She's growing it out. Is that blood in your moustache? Goldie, look at this. Look at all the blood in his moustache. That, sure, that's a lot of blood. " Rapunzel cringed in the corner but bumped into a man with arm-hair. She yelped and ran towards Flynn, bundling her hair up into her arms. "Hey you don't look so good Blondie. Maybe we should get you home. Call it a day. Fiona led him towards the open door Probably be better off. This is a 5 star joint after all and if you can't handle this place, well, maybe you should be back in your tower." The door slammed in their face.

Adam said, "Nice going Flynn."

"Is this you?" A stout man with a hook on one hand was holding a poster against the door. Flynn moved the man's large finger to reveal a cartoon drawing of his face with a duck nose.

"Aw...now they're just being mean."

"Ho, ho, it's him alright. Greno, go find the guards! That reward's going to buy me a new hook." Flynn gasped as someone grabbed him by the back of his collar and hoisted him up in the air.

"N-no come on guys...put me down...HEY!"

The women began fighting over her.

"I WANT THAT REWARD!"

"I NEED A NEW HOOK!"

"I SAW HIM FIRST!"

Rapunzel scrambled around the large crowd trying to get to Fiona.

"HEY LET HIM GO...THAT'S MY GUIDE!" She sighed and tossed a strand of hair towards a loose board on the ceiling. She tightened her hair and pulled before releasing it. The board hit one of the men on the head. Rapunzel stammered as they all turned to him. "Who! Okay, I don't know where I am, and I need him to take me to the lanterns because I've been dreaming about them my entire life! Find your humanity! Haven't any of you ever had a dream?"

The crowd of men hung Flynn up on a hook and approached Rapunzel. Ariel said, "I think you just pissed them off.

They backed up in fear. The man with a hook glared right at Rapunzel. His face softened. "I had a dream once..." Flynn stopped struggling and raised an eyebrow. Then the man with the hook threw a weapon at the chained musician and he started to play. "I'm malicious, mean and scary. My sneer could curdle dairy. And violence-wise, my hands are not the cleanest"

"Oh god..." said Belle.

"But despite my evil look. And my temper and my hook. I've always yearned to be a concert pianist."

"Cool..." said Snow White.

"Can't you see me on the stage performin' Mozart. Ticklin' the ivories 'til they gleam? Yep, I'd rather be called deadly. For my killer show tune medley. Thank you, 'cause way down deep inside I've got a dream."

"He's got a dream. He's got a dream"

"See, I ain't as cruel and vicious as I seem!

"Though I do like breaking femurs. You can count me with the dreamers. Like everybody else, I've got a dream."

Everyone watched as Rapunzel sat of a stool and happily swayed along with the tune. Then one man started his part. "I've got scars and lumps and bruises. Plus something here that oozes. And let's not even mention my complexion. But despite my extra toes. And my goiter and my nose. I really wanna make a love connection. Can't you see me with a special little lady. Rowin' in a rowboat down the stream? Though I'm one disgusting blighter. I'm a lover, not a fighter. 'Cause way down deep inside, I've got a dream. I've got a dream!"

"He's got a dream!"

"I've got a dream!"

"He's got a dream! And I know one-day romance will reign supreme. Though my face leaves people screaming. There's a child behind it, dreaming. Like everybody else, I've got a dream."

Then they started to introduce the other thugs' dreams. "Tor would like to quit and be a florist. Guntha does interior design. Ulf is into mime, Attila's cupcakes are sublime. Bruiser knits, killer sews, Fang does little puppet shows. And Vladimir collects ceramic unicorns."

The men all turned to Flynn and Adam. "What about you boys? What's your dream?"

"Sorry boys...We don't sing..."

He was yanked off the hook and had three swords drawn at her neck. She jumped up onto a table. "I have dreams like you, no, really. Just much less touchy-feely. They mainly happen somewhere warm and sunny." Flynn grabbed one of Vladimir's unicorns and placed it in a bowl of sand. "On an island that I own. Tanned and rested and alone. Surrounded by enormous piles of money."

Flynn and Adam sunk into the corner and watched as girls began to sing. "I've got a dream!"

"They got a dream!"

"I've got a dream!"

"I just wanna see the floating lanterns gleam.

"Yeah!"

"And with every passing hour I'm so glad I left my tower. Like all you lovely folks, I've got a dream!"

While the rest of the crowd began to harmonize. Flynn noticed a well-dressed woman standing at the window. He was fuming. He glared right at Rapunzel. Flynn could've sworn he saw wrinkles forming under her eyes. Their eyes met and the woman disappeared.

"She's got a dream! He's got a dream! They've got a dream! We've got a dream! So our differences ain't really that extreme! We're one big team. Call us brutal Sick Sadistic and grotesquely optimistic. 'Cause way down deep inside, we've got a dream! I've got a dream! I've got a dream! I've got a dream! I've got a dream! I've got a dream! I've got a dream! Yes, way down deep inside, I've got a dream! Yeah!"

Then Greno came back. "I found the guards." The sound of horse came up to the doors. the girls and the dudes jumped behind the bar as palace guards threw the doors open and began searching.

"WHERE'S RYDER!" Flynn held his breath and turned to Hook-hand, who was messing with a lever. A secret passage opened up.

"Go, live your dream..."

"I will..."

"You're dream's shit, I was talking to the ladies. Pardon my French."

Flynn grumbled and pulled Rapunzel down the passage. Gothel watched as the group hopped over the bar and disappeared. She spotted a man with a hook-hand coming out from behind the bar and pushed on a lever.

"A secret passage...oh how could I let my dearest Rapunzel get mixed up with these..." The door of the tavern opened. A wasted old man glanced at Gothel and beamed.

"Whoa...hey there..." the man burped "hot stuff..."

"Buzz off you drunkard...wait..." She pulled the knife to the man's neck. "Where does that passage let out?"

Meanwhile, the group was going through the tunnel and Flynn was lighting the way. "Well, I've got to say, didn't know you had that in you back there. That was pretty impressive."

Rapunzel said, "Well you can thank my friends. Which by the way, I'm surprise you can see my imaginary friends."

Aurora said, "Actually we're real people?"

"Huh?"

Flynn said, "I'll explain it. There's a legends of heroes saving words and in order for them to adjust to new worlds they have magical items that can help them."

Rapunzel asked, "Where did you get that info from?"

Adam said, "Cause I was Flynn imaginary friend. But once I got older that magic went away. Maybe when you left the tower same with the girls."

Rapunzel shrugged. "So Flynn, where're you from?"

Flynn said, "Whoo-oo! Sorry, Blondie, I don't do back-story. However I am becoming very interested in yours. Now I, I know I'm not supposed to mention the hair."

"Nope."

"Or the mother."

"Ah, ah."

"Frankly I'm too scared to ask about the frog."

"Chameleon."

"Nuance. Here's my question: If you want to see the lanterns so badly, why haven't you gone before?" he asked.

"Uh. Huh, Well…uh, Flynn…Flynn…"

Then they heard the guards. "Rider!"

Adam yelled, "Run!"

The girls gathered up Rapunzel's hair and ran out of the tunnel and it opened to a cliff where the brothers were. "Who's that?"

"They don't like me."

The palace guards. "Who's that?"

"They don't like me either."

Then the horse appeared. "Who's that?!"

Adam said, "To summaries, everyone hates us!"

Rapunzel then used her hair to wring to a near by rock after handing Flynn the pan. He used it and it knocked the guard out. "Oh mama, I have to get me one of these!" Then he and Maximus started to duel. "You should know that this is the strangest thing I've ever done!" Maximus flicks the pan out of Flynn's hands. "How about 2 out of 3."

"Flynn!" Rapunzel wraps her hair around her friend's hands, pulls them and swings away. Just before Maximus could catch her hair, Rapunzel reaches the ground and they escape to the cave. But the entrance was sealed shut.

Then there was a loud creaking sound. Up above, Maximus was making his way across the canyon on a piece of wood she knocked down. Water was gushing out of the dam. They ran into the flooding cave as a huge rock formation tumbled down and trapped them.

"It's no use. I can't see anything..." Rapunzel dives in but he pulls her up. Fiona beat of the rock one last time and cursed as she cut her hand. She leaned against the back of the cave with a shivering Rapunzel. "Hey, there's no point. It's pitch-black down there."

"This is all my fault. She's right, I never should have done this." Then she started to cry.

The girls tried to comfort her. "It's not your fault Rapunzel." said Marie.

"Eugene..."

"What?" asked the group.

"My name is Eugene Fitzherbert...someone might as well know..."

Flynn looked away from Rapunzel, expecting laughter. But instead she replied. "I have magic hair that glows when I sing..."

"What?!"

Flynn looked at him as she lit up with excitement. The water was nearly at their necks. "I HAVE MAGIC HAIR THAT GLOWS WHEN I SING!"

"Are you ser-"

Flynn froze as Rapunzel sang quickly. "Flower gleam and glow. Let you power shine!"

The water covered them. Flynn stared into the darkness and nearly screamed as the roots of Rapunzel's hair lit up and as a added bonus, the jewels on the girls' necklaces started to glow too. The light continued from her roots all across the little cave. Flynn spotted an opening and began pulling at the rocks with one hand. They moved enough rocks to see light before Rapunzel's hair lost its shine.

After scrambling in the darkness, the two fell into a stream. The current carried them to the shores. They both gasped for air against the grass. "We made it."

"HER HAIR ACTUALLY GLOWS!"

"We made it out alive!" said Adam.

"WHY DOES YOUR HAIR GLOW?!"

"Eugene!" cried the girls.

"What?"

"It doesn't just glow."

Then Flynn looked at Pascal. "Why is he smiling at me?"

Meanwhile, Gothel gripped her dagger and waited as two large men trudged down the path. They were cursing and grumbling as they wrung out their soaking wet orange hair. Gothel put her dagger away and jumped out from the bush. The sisters went for weapons they didn't have.

"Boys!" They turned to her. "Perhaps you want to stop acting like wild dogs chasing their tails and think for a moment." She pulled out the bag and the twins for their swords. "Oh-ho please, there's no need for that." She tosses them the bag and the crown was still inside. "Well, if that's all that you desirer then be on your way. I was going to offer you something worth 1,000 counts, would have made you rich beyond belief and that wasn't even the best part, hoho, oh well, c'est la vei. Enjoy your crown."

The twins looked at each other and asked, "What's the best part?"

Gothel pulled out the poster. "It's comes with revenge on Flynn Rider."

Later that night, the group was making camp. The fire was going and Rapunzel was wrapping her hair around Flynn's hand. "So you are being strangely cryptic as you wrap your magic hair around my injured hand."

Flynn watched as Rapunzel stared at his wrapped hand, then looked up at him.

"J-just...don't...don't freak out...ok?" Flynn raised an eyebrow as Rapunzel took a deep breath and began to sing. "Flower gleam and glow. Let your power shin. Make the clock reverse. Bring back what once was mine." Flynn held his breath as her hair began to glow and the light traveled around their campsite until it lit up over his wrapped hand. "Heal what has been hurt. Change the Fates' design. Save what has been lost. Bring back what once was mine." Flynn felt the stinging pain in his hand melt away. "What once was mine."

Flynn hastily removed the hair and held back a scream. Rapunzel fidgeted nervously. "Please don't freak out!" yelled Belle.

Fiona stuttered. "I-I'm-not-freaking-out-no-I'm-just-very-interested-in-your-hair-and-the magical-qualities-that-it-possesses-how-long has it been doing that?"

"Um...forever...I guess...father said that when I was a baby, people tried to cut it. They wanted to take it for themselves." Rapunzel revealed a tiny lock of brown hair tucked behind her left ear. But once it's cut, it turns brown and loses its power. A gift like that, it has to be protected. That's why mother…"

Adam finished. "You never left that tower. And you're still gonna go back?"

"NO!...maybe...I don't know..." Rapunzel crossed her arms and leaned against her knees. Her green eyes glistened in the dim light. Then she changed the subject. "So, Eugene Fitzherbert, huh?"

Flynn said, "Yeah. Well. I'll spare you the sob story of poor orphan Eugene Fitzherbert, it's a little bit of a…that's a little but of a downer."

Pocahontas said, "Spill it."

"There was this book, a book I used to read every night to all the younger kids. 'The Tales of Flynnigan Rider'. Swashbuckling rogue, alive, not bad with the ladies either. Not that he would to brag about it, of course."

"Mulan asked, "Was he a thief too?"

"Uh…well, no. Actually, he had enough money to of anything that he wanted to do. He could go anywhere that he wanted to go and, and, and for a kid with nothing, I don't know, I…just seemed like a better option."

Adam said, "And that's when he meet me." He patted his back. "I just showed up one day and I try to make him happy. Of course he knew of my ice powers but I told him that I couldn't use them or else they might label him as a witch."

Flynn said, "But none of you ladies can tell anyone about this okay? It could ruin my whole reputation."

Tiana said, "Ah. We wouldn't want that."

Flynn chuckled. "Well a fake reputation is all a man has. I-I..." Fiona hesitated. "I-I-I better go get some more firewood...be right back..."

Rapunzel said, "Hey, for the record, I like Eugene Fitzherbert much better then Flynn Rider."

Flynn smiled. "Well, then you'd be the first thank you." Then he left.

Adam said, "I might as well scout out to see where we are. Anyone want to come with?"

The girls stood up. Marie said, "Us if it's alright with Rapunzel." Rapunzel nodded and they got up and left.

As Rapunzel was relaxing and was warming up against the fire when she heard a voice. "Well I thought they'd never leave."

Rapunzel jumped up and spun around. Her mother stood before her. There were wrinkles along her eyes and she seemed a bit scaly.

"F-father?!"

"Hello dear."

Rapunzel fiddled with the hair that was hanging over her shoulder. "But I, I, I, I don't, uh…how did you fine me?"

Gothel hugged her. "Oh, it was easy really. I just listened to the sound of complete and utter betrayal and followed that."

Rapunzel sighs. "Mother."

"We're going home Rapunzel. Now."

"You, you don't understand. I've been on this incredible journey and I've seen and earned so much. I even met some people."

"Yes the wanted thief, I'm so proud. Come on Rapunzel."

"Mother, wait. I think…I think he lies me."

"Likes you? Please Rapunzel that's demented."

Rapunzel tried to argue her case. "But mother I—"

"This is why you never should have left. Dear, this whole romance that you've invented. Just proves you're too naive to be here. Why would he like you? Come on now - really! Look at you - you think that he's impressed?" Then she opened her arms "Don't be a dummy. Come with mummy. Mother…"

"NO!" Rapunzel yelled.

Gothel narrowed her eyes at Rapunzel, who was awkwardly standing straight in an attempt to look strong. "No?! Oh. I see how it is." Rapunzel grew scared. "Rapunzel knows best. Rapunzel's so mature now. Such a clever grown-up miss. Rapunzel knows best. Fine, if you're so sure now. Go ahead, then give him this!"

Gothel pulled out the satchel. Rapunzel gasped. "How did you?!"

"This is why he's here! Don't let him deceive you! Give it to him, watch, you'll see! Trust me, my dear. That's how fast he'll leave you. I won't say I told you so - no

Rapunzel knows best! So if he's such a dreamboat. Go and put him to the test."

Gothel stormed away. "MOTHER WAIT!"

Gothel turned back. "If he's lying. Don't come crying.. Mother knows best..."

Rapunzel hugged the bag to her chest as Gothel disappeared into the darkness.

After a while, Rapunzel heard her friends coming back. Rapunzel quickly hid away the bag. "Hey, uh…can I ask you? I there any chance that I'm gonna get super strength in my hand because I'm not gonna lie. That would be stupendous. Hey you all right?"

Rapunzel replied. "Oh! Sorry, Yes. Just, em...lost in thought I guess."

Adam changed the subject. "I think for Flynn, superhuman good looks, he barely has…" Got wacked. "But superhuman strength? Can you imagine the possibilities of that?"

Back into the forest Gothel was there with the twins. One went forward but Gothel stopped him. "Patience boys. All good things to those who wait."

The next morning, the fire was out and the group was still asleep until Flynn felt something wet dripped onto his face. He looked up. A soaking wet, angry looking Maximus was glaring down at him. Fiona smirked. "Well I hope your hear to apologize."

Then the 2 got into a fight. The group woke up and saw Maximus taking Flynn away. "No, no, no, put me down! Let me go!"

The girls said together, "Release him!" It took a few times but Rapunzel calmed the horse down. "Easy boy, easy." Then Maximus stops. "That's it. Now sit." Maximus did.

Flynn was confused. "What?"

Rapunzel said, "Now drop the show." Maximus didn't.

Aurora said, "Let me try." She walked up to the horse. "If you give us the shoe, I can personally feed you the best carrot I can find." Maximus smiled and gave Flynn the boot.

Flynn asked, "How?"

Aurora said, "Most of us can talk to animals."

Rapunzel then started to pet Maximus. "Aww, you are such a good boy! Yes you are." Maximus started to wag his tail. "You're all tired from casing the bad men all over the place?"

Flynn took offence. "Excuse me?"

Rapunzel ignored him. "Nobody appreciates you, do they? Do they?" Soon the rest of the girls were petting the horse

Flynn had enough. "Oh come on, he's a bad horse!"

"Oh he's nothing but a big sweetheart!" Rapunzel looked at his nametag. "Isn't that right? Maximus?" Then she started to negotiate. "Look. Today is kind of the biggest day of my life and the thing is, I need you not to get him arrested." Maximus grunts. "Just for 24 hours and then you can chase each other to your heart's content, okay?" Flynn sighs and held out his hand.

Maximus looked away. "And it's also her birthday. So if you don't want to be turned to glue…" said Adam. Maximus reluctantly agrees.

Then Rapunzel heard something and started to walk and of course her friends went with her.. The two nearly crashed into a frozen Rapunzel, who was gawking at the scenery before them. Flynn rolled his eyes as she ran forward. He ran after her gathering up her hair as they went.

After a while it was beginning to be a pain the butt to carry the hair. As they wandered about the village until they came across a fountain with little girls braiding their hair. Tiana whistled to them and the little girls gawked at Rapunzel. They lit up like stars. After a while, the girls were done and when Flynn smiled on how beautiful she was, Maximus started to tease him.

They stopped in libraries, trinket shops, furniture stores, and at least four bakeries. She couldn't help but feel happy as the thief's face softened each time the boy smiled at her. Then Flynn bought her a small fabric square with a sun on it and a necklace with the sun and a jewel on it too.

After a while Rapunzel heard music and started to dance. The group saw her dance and soon enough everyone was. Well except for Flynn. Maximus watched as a usual dance began in the middle of the square. The woman had joined in and was dancing with a little boy. Flynn had positioned herself a distance from Maximus and the dancing. Maximus smirked as the dancing picked up. He scooted closer and closer to Flynn as casually as possible. Once he was close enough he shoved him into the square so he got pulled into the dance.

Flynn glared back at him as he had to start dancing with some woman. Maximus watched as, somehow, Flynn made his way closer and closer to Rapunzel just as the dance was finishing. As the band played the final notes, Flynn and Rapunzel dance together into a graceful embrace.

Flynn sighed and tried to catch his breath. His cheeks got warmer as he stared up at Rapunzel. "TO THE BOATS!"

The two immediately separated. Flynn nodded towards an alley. "I have a shortcut to the ocean...c-come on."

"But what about the others?"

"Adam can take care of them. I want to show you the best seat for this event."

They walked in silence all the way to the beach, where Max was leaning against a small rowboat. "Whaaaaat? You don't trust us?" Flynn chuckled and stepped into the boat. As Rapunzel sat down she rowed the boat as far as they could go to have the best view. They stared up at the shadowy palace. Flynn then tossed a bag of apples at Maximus. "Hey Max!" He turned his nose away. "What I bought them." Max started to eat them. "Most of them." Then he stopped.

Once in the middle of the lake Flynn noticed something was wrong. "You okay?"

"I'm terrified..."

Flynn glanced at Rapunzel in concern. "Why?"

"I've been looking out a window for eighteen years, dreaming about what it might feel like when those lanterns fly up into the sky. What if it's not everything I dreamed it would be?"

"Well that's a good part I guess. You get to go find a new dream."

In the palace, the royal family was getting ready for the night. As the queen put the family crest on, she noticed that her husband was sadder then before. And you really can't blame him since their daughter was taken away 18 years go. The queen put her hand on her husband's face and smiled at him. He gently smiled back. Then the 2 walked outside to the balcony where one lantern was lit and ready for them. With a gentle tug, it went up into the sky and soon more lanterns went up. As for the girls, they were in the crowd and as their lanterns went up, Adam looked at Marie and gently held Marie's hand. Marie felt the coldness and looked at him. She smiled at him and lay her head on his shoulder and watches the lanterns.

Meanwhile, Flynn and Rapunzel were putting flowers on the water when Rapunzel looked and gawked at the single raising lantern. Slowly more and more began to rise. Rapunzel got up fast, nearly knocking over the boat and looked up at the sky. Rapunzel stared up into the sky. Little by little, more and more lanterns floated higher and higher. She sighed. "All those days watching from the windows. All those years outside looking in. All that time never even knowing. Just how blind I've been. Now I'm here, blinking in the starlight. Now I'm here, suddenly I see. Standing here, it's all so clear I'm where I'm meant to be. And at last I see the light. And it's like the fog has lifted. And at last I see the light. And it's like the sky is new. And it's warm and real and bright. And the world has somehow shifted. All at once everything looks different. Now that I see you."

Rapunzel turned. Flynn was holding two lanterns. She carefully grabbed one and looked at Flynn. His brown eyes really sparkled in the light. Holding on to the lantern, Rapunzel reached over and took his hand in hers. They smiled and raised their lanterns into the sky. Rapunzel said, "I have something for you too." She takes out Flynn's bag. "I should have given it to you before, but I was just scared. And the thing is, I'm scared anymore. You know what I mean?"

Flynn refused the bag. "I'm starting too.

Flynn smiled as Rapunzel continued to marvel at the lanterns. He never let go of her hand. "All those days chasing down a daydream. All those years living in a blur. All that time never truly seeing. Things, the way they were. Now he's here shining in the starlight. Now he's here, suddenly I know. If he's here it's crystal clear. I'm where I'm meant to go."

Rapunzel then pointed to a lantern about to fall and she gently got it and lifted it up. Then the 2 looked at each other and held each other's hands. "And at last I see the light. And it's like the fog is lifted. And at last I see the light. And it's like the sky is new. And it's warm and real and bright. And the world has somehow shifted. All at once, everything is different. Now that I see you."

Flynn caught his breath as Rapunzel pulled him forward hastily. One arm laced around her back, the other went in her hair. It was sensual...a little too sensual...wait a minute. Flynn sighed as his grip tightened around her. He was hugging her...tightly. She pushed lightly so they were just inches apart. "Now that I see you..."

They both leaned in for a kiss, but something caught Flynn's eye. Standing on the shore were the brothers, holding up a green lantern. Flynn glanced at Rapunzel. She was staring at him concerned. "Is everything okay?"

A thousand different things went through Flynn's head. "Oh yes, uh, huh. Yes, of course. I just..." He rowed back to show. I'm sorry, everything is fine. There's just something I have to take care of."

Rapunzel said, "Okay."

Flynn got out of the boat. "I'll be right back." Then he left."

Rapunzel saw Pascal grew worried. "It's all right Pascal."

Flynn walked a lead away from her past a large rock. Behind that rock was the brothers. "Ah, there you are. Huh. I've been searching everywhere for you guys since we got separated. Hey, the sideburns just coming in nice huh? Gotta be excited about that. Hmm-mm. anyhow, just wanted to say, I shouldn't have split, the crown is all yours, I'll miss ya, but I think it's for the…best."

Then he backed away and bumped into one of the twins. "Holding out on us again, eh, Rider? Where's your 'ice man'?"

"What?...He left, I took care of him."

"We heard you found something. Something much more valuable then a crown. We want her instead." Then everything went black.

Rapunzel stared into the darkness. She shuddered in the cold. Where is he? Suddenly, a figure emerged in the shadows. Rapunzel sighed. "Uh. I was starting to think you ran off with the crown and left me."

That one figure became two. The scary men from the canyon came into view. On of them had a rather large stick. "He did..."

"What? No, he wouldn't."

"See for yourself." The talking one pointed out at the dark ocean. Rapunzel followed his gaze and saw the silhouette of a boat with a man steering. The crown shining in the moonlight.

"Eugene. Eugene!"

"Fair trade, a crown for a girl…" Rapunzel stiffened as the woman pulled his metal hairpiece off. "...with the magic hair?"

"How much do you think someone would pay to stay young and healthy forever?"

"No, please—no! NO!" Rapunzel dodged their attacks and ran. She tripped as her hair got tangled in a fallen branch.

Then she heard the sound of yelling and two bodies collapsing in the sand. She peeked around the large rock to see her mother standing above the men holding her own large stick. "Rapunzel!

"Mother?"

"Oh my precious girl." Gothel embrace Rapunzel.

"Mother."

"Are you all right? Are you hurt?"

Rapunzel broke from her mother's embrace and stared out at the sea. "Mother, how did you—"

"I was so worried about you dear. So I followed you. And I saw them attack you and—oh my, let's go, let's go before they come too."

"You were right mum." Rapunzel's eyes filled with tears. "You were right about everything."

"I know darling, I know." The two walked in silence back to their home. Rapunzel thought about Flynn and her friends the entire time. Pascal nuzzled her shoulder as tears dripped down her cheeks.

Meanwhile, Flynn gasped as he was jarred awake. He looked up into the eyes of a tired young soldier.

"IT'S RYDER!"

Flynn struggled in his bounds. He was tied tightly to the steering wheel of a small ship. The crown was tied into his hand.

"No...no, no, no... wait, wait, wait guys, guys!" More guards appeared on the ship and untied Flynn. Rather than letting him go, they guided him away from the boat. They snatched the crown from his hand and pushed him along. Within minutes, Flynn was locked in a dark cell. He was speechless.

The next morning, the door opened and Flynn saw four other guards came around the corner. "Let's get this over with."

"Where are we going?" Flynn glanced out the cell window. A guard was stringing a noose onto a large wooden arch. "Oh..."

Meanwhile, Rapunzel sighed as her mother removed the last flower in her hair. "There. It never happened. Now, wash up for dinner. I'll make you favorite." Rapunzel continued to stare down at her hands. Gothel sighed. "I really try, Rapunzel. I tried to warn you what was out there. The world is dark and selfish and cruel. If it finds even the slightest ray of sunshine, it destroys it."

Gothel closed the curtains and walked away. Rapunzel sighed and opened her hands. She opened up the crumpled purple handkerchief that Flynn bought her at the market. Then she touched her necklace that was around her neck. She managed to hide it from Gothel. Rapunzel held back tears and laid down on her bed. She held the handkerchief to her heart and stared up at her paintings. Something was odd. She looked back at the sun and then backs up at the paintings. She went back and forth until suddenly, the sun began to appear in her paintings. Within moments, her entire ceiling was covered in suns. Then the jewel on her necklace glowed from purple to orange. Rapunzel then recalled a certain mural in the square. It was the king and queen holding their newborn girl, who had long blonde hair. The woman and her daughter sitting at the mural told Rapunzel the story of the lost princess. And how a strange woman entered the princess's chambers the night of her birthday and stole her. The king and queen only caught a glimpse of the figure. She was an old woman. Rapunzel held her forehead as another image became clear. The image that constantly appeared in Rapunzel's dreams. A floating model, above her crib as a baby, with the sun right in the middle. The faint figure of a couple, with dark brown hair and golden crowns. They were the king and queen. Rapunzel gasped and crashed into her dresser. She stared right at the doorway. Then she got flashes of something else. In her mind she saw her friends, in different worlds, fighting monsters. Each has a mark somewhere on their body. That's when Rapunzel remembered one night, she saw the same mark on Gothel on her left hip. She realized what and who she is.

Meanwhile, Flynn accepted the handcuffs and followed the guards through the prison. He came across a small cell with the brothers in it. Flynn became overwhelmed with anger and knocked the guards holding his aside and lunged at the brothers. "HOW DID YOU KNOW ABOUT HER? TELL ME NOW!"

"I-it wasn't us! It was the old lady!"

"Old lady…" Flynn was grabbed by the guards and pulled along. "Wait! No! Wait! You don't understand she's in trouble! Wait!"

Back at the tower Gothel was going up the stairs after hearing noise from Rapunzel's room. "Rapunzel?" Rapunzel stiffened. "Rapunzel what's going on up there?" She caught her breath and straightened up. She crossed the room and pushed open the curtains. "Are you alright?"

"I'm the lost princess…And Sailor Passionate."

Gothel sighs. "Oh, please speak up Rapunzel. You know how I hate the mumbling."

"I am the lost princess and scout. Aren't I?" Gothel's eyes widened. "Did I mumble...mother? Or should I even call you that?" She glared at her.

"Oh Rapunzel," Her voice cracked. "did you even hear yourself? Why would you ask such a ridiculous question?"

"IT WAS YOU! It was all you!"

Gothel's eyes narrowed. "Everything I did was to protect…you."

Rapunzel scoffed and pushed past her. "I've spent my entire like hiding from people who would use me for my power…"

"Rapunzel!"

"…But I should have been hiding…from you!"

"Where will you go? He won't be there for you."

"What have you done to him?"

"That criminal is to be hanged for his crimes."

Rapunzel froze. "No..."

"Now, now. it's alright." Gothel approached him. "Listen to me. Everything is as it should be."

"NO!" Rapunzel grabbed Gothel's raised arm. "You were wrong about the world. And you were wrong about me." Gothel tried to struggle. "And I will NEVER let you use my hair again!"

Rapunzel released her and Gothel stumbled back. Rapunzel gathered as much hair as she could and walked away. She didn't hear Gothel mutter under her breath. "You want me to be the bad guy? Fine. Now I'm the bad guy."

Back in the dungeon, Flynn struggled all along the passage. He tried to get away but the guards were stronger. Then they cam up to a door and the Captain said, "What's this? Open up!"

Then a voice said, "What's the password?"

"What?"

"Nope."

The captain grew angry. "Open this door!"

"Not even close!"

"You have 3 seconds 1…" A guard was taken. "2…"Then another one was taken. "3!" Then he turns around and saw Flynn alone. Then Attila hits the captain with a frying pan.

"Frying pans! Who knew, right?" asked Flynn.

Then more guards came but the thugs easily over powered them. Flynn managed to go outside and the hook-man gave him some instructions. "Head down."

"Head down."

"Arms in."

"Arms in."

"Knees apart."

"Knees apart. Knees apart? Why—why do I need to keep my knees apart?" Then Vlad jumped from the roof, landed on a wagon, where Flynn was standing on and he went up the air and of course he was screaming. Then he landed on Maximus. "Max. You brought them here?" Then Max picked up a ribbon from one of the girls. "Oh the girls did. What about Adam?" Max shrugged. "Well let's go."

Max out ran the guards going from roof to roof surprising the guards and the villagers. Then they made it outside of the castle where the girls, on horses of their own, were waiting for him. "It's about time!" Said Marie.

"Scold me later. Let's see how fast we can go." said Flynn.

They rode all the way to Rapunzel's tower. Flynn jumped off the horse. "Stay here. I don't want you girls hurt."

Ariel said, "Fine with us. The real battle hasn't happened yet."

Flynn looked at them confused then he yelled up to the top. "RAPUNZEL?! ...RAPUNZEL LET DOWN YOUR HAIR!"

Flynn began to climb the stones. Then he heard the doors creak opened. A wave familiar blonde hair came tumbling towards him. He climbed it as fast as he could.

"Rapunzel, I thought I'd never see you again. Huh?" Flynn gasped. Rapunzel was chained to the floor and gagged. Her voice was muffled. Rapunzel screamed as Gothel stabbed him in the side. She yanked out the knife and let him crumple to the floor. She ditched the knife. Flynn couldn't stand up straight and knocked down the mirror breaking it.

"Now look what you've done Rapunzel? Oh don't worry dear...our secret will die with him..." Gothel unlatched Rapunzel chains and pulled her towards the secret passage. "And as for us, hmm! We are going where no one would ever find you again!" Rapunzel continued to struggle. Pascal tries to help but Gothel kicked him away. "Rapunzel really! Enough already! Stop fighting me!"

"NO!" Rapunzel's gag fell off. "I won't stop. For every minute of the rest of my life I will fight! I will never stop trying to get away from you! But if you let me save him, I will go with you."

Flynn weakly said, "No! No, Rapunzel!"

Rapunzel said, "I will never run, I'll never try to escape. Just le met help him, and you and I will be together. Forever, just like you want. Everything will be the way it was. I promise. Just like you want and I can even let you smash my necklace. Just let me heal him."

Gothel glared down at her. "Agreed..." She unhooked Rapunzel's chains and crossed the room to Flynn. She chained him to the staircase. "In case you get any ideas about following us..." She walked away.

Rapunzel ran to him immediately. "Eugene!" She carefully moved his hand from his wound. There was a lot of blood. "Oh, I'm so sorry. Everything is gonna be okay-"

Flynn rejected the hair she was starting to place on his wound. "No Rapunzel"

"I promise you. You have to trust me-"

"No—"

"Come on. Just breath—"

"I can't let you do this."

Rapunzel choked back tears. "But I can't let you die..."

"But if you do this-"

"Shh, shh, shh…"

"…then you…."

"Shh, shh…"

"Will die."

"Hey. It's gonna be all right."

Rapunzel started to place more hair. "Rapunzel...wait..." He turned to her. He cupped her cheek. Rapunzel cracked a small smile and leaned down. Her eyes widened as Flynn cut of Rapunzel's hair with a broken shard of the mirror."

"Eugene, wha-"

Rapunzel turned to a horrified Gothel in shock. "NO!" Rapunzel watched as every inch of her hair turned dark brown. It snaked all around the room. Gothel desperately pulled at the last blonde pieces and choked as the last of it turned brown. Her hand began to wither into dust. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" Gothel went to the broken mirror and saw she was getting old fast. She pulled the hood over her face and as she walked backwards Pascal pulls a length of hair making Gothel tripped and she fell out of the window.

The girls saw Gothel fall out of the window and stood back as the cloak landed on the ground. The body has disintegrated. Belle said, "She's dead."

Snow White said, "But we're not done yet."

Jasmine said, "We saw her second form. Best if we suit up now."

Aurora asked, "What about Rapunzel and Flynn?"

Cinderella said, "They should be fine."

Pocahontas asked, "What happened to Adam?"

Mulan said, "He left last night. Honestly he's giving me the creeps."

Tiana asked, "What should we do?"

Marie said, "He's my test. I have to deal with him."

Ariel said, "But you're falling for him. You're starting to love him."

Marie said, "Even if I am…it can never happen." The girls got off of their horses and transformed.

Back in the tower, Rapunzel turned back to Flynn and gasped. "No, no, no, no, no Eugene." He started to cough. "Oh. Look at me, look at me, I'm right here don't go, stay with me, Eugene—" She put his hand on her head. "Flower gleam and glow, let your power shine, make the clock reverse, bring back what once was mine—" She started to cry.

"Rapunzel."

She looked down at him. "What?"

"You were my new dream."

Rapunzel squeezed his hand. "And you were mine." Flynn cracked the smallest smile and shut his eyes. Rapunzel's breath caught as he went limp. Her eyes filled with tears. She put her forehead on his. "Heal…what has been hurt…Change the fates' design…Save what has been lost…Bring back what once was mine…what once was mine." A single tear dripped onto Flynn's cheek. That single tear melted into his cheek. Rapunzel glanced at his wound to see billows of light weaving around them and forming a shining golden flower.

She examined the wound and saw that blood was gone. She turned to his face and smiled. Flynn gasped to life and opened his eyes. "Rapunzel?"

"Eugene?"

He smirked. "Did I ever tell you I had a thing for brunettes?"

"Eugene!" Rapunzel laughed and pulled him into a tight hug. As they leaned back, Rapunzel giggled and pulled him into a passionate kiss. Once they separated, Rapunzel was practically on top of Flynn on a pile of hair.

Soon enough they were downstairs where they saw the girls in their scout form. Flynn asked, "What gives?"

Then Rapunzel looked down and saw 20 snakes. "Eugene!"

The horses backed away as the snakes gathered around and it started to form a person. That person was Gothel as a gorgon. "Now look what you've done. You've made me VERY MAD!" Then she split into 3 gorgons. Let's see if you can fight ussss!"

Flynn got Rapunzel on Maximus as the girls split up into teams and started to fight them off. Then Flynn got on behind her. "Let's get out of here."

Rapunzel stopped him. "No! We can't leave our friends!"

Flynn said, "But the only one that could help is Adam and he's no where! No one can help them!"

Rapunzel said, "They're not alone." She got off the horse and her necklace glowed. "Princess Passionate Power…Make up!"

Rapunzel joined the girls and all started to attack. "Blind Light Blaster!"

"Mermaid Typhoon Monsoon!"

"Rose Vince Blast!"

"Call of the Wild!"

"Slice n' Dice Slash!"

"Sonic Song Strike!"

"Dream Serious Sword!"

"Great Air Blaster!"

"Chien Long Huo!"

"Bayou Lily Evolution!"

Which each attack, the gorgons either dodge or redirect. What made it even harder is that with Snow White's 'Call of the Wild' and instead of the gorgons fighting each other, only the little snakes were fighting each other and it wasn't enough. As for Aurora's Sonic Song Strike, well these snakes don't have ears like the real ones so that didn't work. But the others did break down the 3 gorgons into small snakes. then the snakes gathered together to make gorgon Gothel. Marie said, "I think we're getting better." Then Gothel used her tail and used the scales and attacked the girls. They glared at Marie. "Don't even say it. I get that enough during test results."

Then Gothel turned to Rapunzel and looked at her outfit. "Not a choice of dress but at least your hair is back. And this time I'll make sure you're powerless."

Rapunzel said, "Not going to happened. You kidnapped me, used me, made he fear the world, and lied to me. But no longer. I'm Sailor Passionate! And in the of all that's good…I shall punish you!" Then the sun hits her hair just right and from her hair the energy went to her hands and the glow started to form the sun into the same symbol as her family crest. Then she yelled. "Solar Sun Beam!" The energy from the sun hits gorgon Gothel and the light from the sun turned her to stone and then the stone turned to dust.

Once it was done Rapunzel was in shocked of what she had just done. Flynn got off and walked to Rapunzel. "Rapunzel are you alright?"

Rapunzel said, "I just took another person's life."

Then one by one the girls walked up to her. "She was no person Rapunzel." said Marie.

"She was the minion of All Evil." said Ariel.

"She had no soul and no heart." said Belle.

"Whatever love for you she had was a rouse. It wasn't real." said Snow White.

"Even if she allowed the king and queen to find her, she would've used them and destroyed your home." said Jasmine.

"But now you know you destiny. You're a princess and a scout." said Aurora.

"A hero to many people and not just someone in the street." said Cinderella.

"Now your life can really begin." said Pocahontas.

"Create your own life, your own dreams." said Mulan.

"And keeping moving forward." said Tiana.

Rapunzel smiled and then felt Flynn's hand on her shoulder. She asked, "You're not really imaginary friends are you?"

"If we say otherwise would you believe us?" asked Marie.

Flynn said, "Well I almost tricked her at the Duckling." Then he got wacked. "What?"

After that fiasco, in the palace, the king and queen were doing their own business when a guard came running in. The 2 looked at him and the guard just nodded. Then king and queen ran as fast as they could to the door where the balcony was. They looked at each other and then opened the door. In on the balcony was Rapunzel, Flynn, and the scouts. The queen and Rapunzel looked at each other. The Queen looked at Rapunzel, while Rapunzel was nervous and sacred at the same time. Then the girls helped Rapunzel moved forward a bit and said, "You're majesty. Allow us to introduce, Rapunzel. The lost princess."

Slowly Rapunzel and the queen walked to each other. Once close enough, the queen put a hand on Rapunzel's cheek and soon she smiled and started to tear up saying 'my baby'. Rapunzel did the same saying 'my mommy'. Then they hugged each other as the queen petted her brown hair. Blonde or brown her baby came home. Rapunzel looked up and saw her father. Her father chuckled and hugged the 2 as they kneeled onto the ground. Then the queen saw Flynn and held out her hand to him. Flynn took her hand and then he was pulled into the family hug. Now he knows where Rapunzel got her strength. After they family moment the 4 got off of the ground. The queen said, "Oh my baby. How I longed for this day."

Rapunzel asked, "You never stopped looking for me?"

Her father said, "We looked everywhere we could. After that failed, we hoped lighting lanterns can help you lead the way home."

Flynn said, "Well she did see them. She was in a hidden tower in a canyon."

The queen said, "Please take us to it."

Marie asked, "Are you sure?"

The queen said, "Please. If it's alright Rapunzel."

Rapunzel said, "As long as we destroy it later."

The royal family and the scouts got on their horses and thanks to Flynn and Maximus, they made it back to the tower. The king and queen were in awe. Then Rapunzel got down and led them to the doorway and made their way up the stairs into the tower. "This is where I stayed for the past 18 years."

She lit up the lights and her parents were more in awe about her paintings. Her father asked, "You painted all of these pictures?"

Rapunzel shrugged. "It's a gift. Though I used my hair to get to the high areas."

Then the mother looked at the paintings over the fireplace. The same painting with the lanterns. "So you have seen them."

Rapunzel stood next to her. "I would see them every night on my birthday. I would dream of seeing them up close and thanks to my friends I did."

The king asked, "Who was the one who took you?"

Rapunzel grew mad. "Her name was Mother Gothel. She used the flower to stay young and alive for a very long time. After I was born, she took me and used my hair to do the same. I think she grew addicted to it cause she started to grow old faster and when my hair was cut, she turned old fast. When I healed Eugene, the wound didn't come back."

The queen said, "She abused the power to the point it won't last long for her."

Rapunzel said, "There's also something else about her." She turned to her friends and they nodded at her to tell them. That's when Rapunzel started to explain everything to her parents. The royals, the missions, minions, marks, and All Evil. "After I realized I made hidden suns all over my room, the jewel on my necklace glowed and I saw everything. My past, the mission, my friends' past, everything."

That's when the girls stood in. "But Gothel's gone now. Rapunzel took her out."

The king was surprised. "She did?"

Flynn said, "I was there. I'm a perfect witness."

The queen said, "Well at this moment it doesn't matter. All that matters is that Rapunzel's home." Rapunzel smiled and hugged her mom again.

The kingdom rejoiced, for the lost princess had now returned. The party lasted an entire week and if you ask Flynn, he doesn't remember much of it. Dreams came true all over the place. Hook went to become the most famous concert pianist in the world, if you can believe it. As for the Viking, well he eventually found true love. Thanks to Maximus, crime in the kingdom disappeared almost overnight…as did most of the apples. Pascel—never changed. At last Rapunzel was home and she finally had a real family. She was a princess and scout worth waiting for. Beloved by all, she led her kingdom with all the grace and wisdom that her parents did before her. As for Flynn, he started to go by Eugene again. Stopped thieving and basically turned it all around. But here's the big question, did Flynn and Rapunzel get married? Well I am pleased to tell you that after years and years of asking, and asking, and asking, Flynn said yes.

MARIE! *Whack*

Ouch! What? He's making me say this.

But in truth he asked her.

And they're living happily ever after…

After Pascel and Maximus nearly lost the rings…

Got dirty in the process…

And lost the wedding cake.

You can only imagine how the clean up crew reacted when they saw the mess.

But it was an event well worth the wait.
