"So, how are you and Sesshomaru doing? I haven't heard much from you lately," says Rin's older sister.
Rin turns to her sister and smiles heavenly. "Must be going good," Kagome laughs.
The two sisters met up at a café. The weather was perfect for sitting outside and even better for socializing.
Rin took a sip of her matcha tea and decided to let her sister in on a little bit of her relationship. "We are moving at a pace just for us; there are no complaints."
"I see; well, it is nice to lay eyes on you. I haven't seen you since… ." Kagome puts a finger to her lips. "Since we left Tahiti. So that was about a month ago. We have never been distant from each other."
Rin cherishes the relationship she has developed with Sesshomaru. Technically, it was her first real one, and she just so happened to be his mate. But she also needed some time away from Sesshomaru. When she wasn't working or going to school, she was with Sesshomaru.
"Hmm, you are right. Maybe it is time for the girls to get together and do some girl things."
Kagome raised a fist to the sky and jumped from her seat. "Yes! We should set that up!"
Rin dreaded telling Sesshomaru that Kagome was setting up a girl's night.
"Where are you going? To a club…a strip club?" Sesshomaru asks with an intense glare.
"It will be at Sango's house because her home is bigger than all of ours," Rin says as she packs her clothes.
"I don't know about that. There may be strippers involved" Sesshomaru rolled his eyes. "Jumping out of the closet."
Rin giggled, "No, I said no strippers. I wouldn't appreciate it, nor would my mate," she pinched Sesshomaru's chin and shook his head.
Sesshomaru pouts, and Rin thinks it was the sweetest thing. She stood on her tiptoes and kissed his lips. "I will not be gone for long."
"I already don't see you enough, and you refuse to move in with me."
Sesshomaru was throwing a tantrum.
Rin watched as Sesshomaru left her bedroom to sit in the living area. She thought maybe she could compromise a little.
She wanted a little part of her independence, but she was also in a relationship. There were some things about her life that needed to change.
She sighed deeply and sat on the edge of her bed. She gave Sesshomaru a couple of moments to himself. She just sprang this on him and started packing without having a conversation with him.
After a few minutes, she gets up and goes into the living room.
Sesshomaru was sitting with his head back and eyes closed. He knew she was coming, but he was too annoyed to look at her.
Rin straddles him, and now she has his undivided attention.
"Sesshomaru," she says sweetly. Sesshomaru, of course, doesn't answer.
She caresses his cheek and gives him a cheeky look. "I haven't seen my sister and friends in a month. I want to spend some time with them."
Sesshomaru's hands move to her hips. "Rin, all I needed was for you to talk to me. I prefer this to you telling me as you pack your things."
Rin nodded, "I understand; forgive me for disappointing you."
"You will never disappoint me, just communicate with me." He rubs her ass. "But I did mean what I said earlier. I want you to move in with me, Rin. I know I said I would wait, but I feel secure knowing we will be under the same roof."
Rin kisses Sesshomaru passionately. He was caught off guard at the sudden way she kissed him. She wanted to talk about moving in with Sesshomaru with the girls, and then she would make her decision. But now, she had to manipulate him into forgetting he even said anything about it.
She kisses his neck, "I am sorry; forgive me." She licks the tip of his ear.
"You want to play this game? This will get you in trouble, little Rin," he says gutturally.
Sesshomaru surely made her play.
The couple lay on the living room floor panting. "You are so good, Rin."
Rin giggled and snuggled up to her loving boyfriend. "You are always good to me, Sesshomaru."
Settling back into normalcy, Rin gets up and quickly washes. She finishes packing up her clothes for the weekend. Sesshomaru decided to drop her off at Sango's house. He wanted to make sure she was going where she said.
"Okay, babe, I will see you Sunday. I promise it will be worth your while."
"Hmph! Are you all caught up with school work, Rin?"
"Yes, I am."
Sesshomaru leaned in and kissed his woman. "Sunday, I will be here to pick you up promptly."
Rin waves to Sesshomaru from Sango's front door and blows him a kiss as she enters Sango's home.
"Finally! We thought you would never make it." Sango rolls her eyes. "Is he that smothering?"
Rin puts her coat on the coat rack. "It goes both ways. We smother each other." Rin winks her eye. "Plus, I had to take care of my baby before I left."
"Okay, whatever! Let's have fun now!"
In attendance were Kagome, of course, Sango, and Ayame.
They played various adult games, but one particular was, have you ever. All the girls were surprised Rin, and Sesshomaru hadn't had sex yet.
"Wait a minute! You guys haven't had sex yet?" Ayame says. Her hands land on her hips. "What the hell you two are waiting for? You damn near answered all the questions with a yes."
Kagome cut her eyes to Ayame. "Relax, they will when they are ready."
Kagome didn't want Rin to feel pressured into having sex because of Ayame's outburst.
Rin silently thanked Kagome.
Sango brought out more finger foods and wine. "Let's just have a girl chat. How about that?"
Kagome talks about her and Inuyasha and how they have discussed the next step in their relationship. "Yes, Inuyasha has been hounding me down about moving in together. So, I decided I would, and he sent me multiple texts of different housing."
Rin thought this was the best opportunity to bring up some things that concerned her with Sesshomaru that she couldn't talk about with him.
"Umm, actually…there are some things I want to get off of my chest."
The girls run to Rin's side, eager to hear from the woman who has been keeping quiet about her relationship.
Rin shook her head at the girl's excitement. "Well, Kagome, I am in the same predicament, but I have been back and forth if I should or not."
"He wants you to move in with him already?" yelled Kagome.
"Well, you should talk, Kagome. You met Inuyasha around the same time," Rin spat.
"But we were dating, you guys…I don't know what you both were doing... playing?"
Rin fell quiet. She didn't want to talk with them anymore. Well, Kagome, she was ruining the moment she wanted to share.
"Kagome, cut it out. Rin wants to open up to us; let her," Sango says, trying to calm the situation.
"Sorry, Rin, I am just concerned for my little sister."
"It is fine. So anyway, I think I want to move in with him. I hadn't realized until today that I needed to stop thinking of myself. We are in a relationship." She shook her head. "I was trying to prepare for the worst if something bad was to happen between us, but he makes me feel so secure. I want to do this."
Sango nearly teared up. "Oh, Rin, I apologize for all the times I pushed you and embarrassed you. I am so happy you are where you are now."
Ayame agreed. Kagome couldn't' believe the words coming out of her little sister's mouth. "You are in love, and who am I to try to stop anything. Do what makes you happy."
Tears formed in Rin's eyes. This was the support she needed. "Thank you," she sobbed.
"I have never been so scared in my life. He is everything I could ever ask for. He is so good to me." She wipes her eyes. "Despite our initial encounter, he has made up for that. I don't think I will ever have to see that side of him ever again. All I feel is warmth and love."
Ayame stood and made a fist. "That is good, Rin. I will kick his ass if he ever did."
The girls drank some more wine and ate more snacks. They sat down to watch a movie, and once the movie was over, Ayame yelled out, "I am horny."
Rin, on a drunken high, blurts out. "I want to have sex with Sesshomaru!"
She falls to the ground laughing hysterically.
Ayame laughs out. "Rin, oh my goodness, you are drunk girl!"
Rin takes her phone out and dials Sesshomaru's number. "Rin."
Rin sang Sesshomaru's name with a slur. "Sesssshommarruuuu."
"Rin, are you drunk?"
"I have been thinking." She hiccups. "We should have sex."
Sesshomaru could hear giggling in the background. "Rin," was all he could get out before he heard the dial tone. He shook his head. "Her night is going well." He smiles. "My, Rin."
Soon as Rin hung up the phone, she passed out on the couch. Everybody else decided to call it a night as well.
Rin woke up bright and early. She had a mild headache, so she took a Tylenol and gulped down some water. She relaxed for a while, strolling through her social media until her headache subsided.
After an hour, Rin realized the girls weren't getting up anytime soon. Since she was feeling better, she decided to make breakfast.
While making breakfast, Kagome enters the kitchen. She had her eyes closed while walking into the kitchen. "Mmm…something smells yummy."
Rin was flipping pancakes and turning over bacon. Rin smiled, "Good Morning! Did you sleep well?"
Kagome sat at the island bar and shook her head. "Yes, I am grateful I don't have a headache." Kagome watches Rin cook. "Thanks for cooking this morning. Sango is supposed to be the host, but she is wasted."
"I am sure," Rin agrees.
Kagome assists Rin and takes plates out so she can place the food and make things look presentable. The two make their plates and sit at the dining room table.
"Do you remember anything from last night?" Kagome says with her eyebrow waggling.
Rin points to Kagome's eyebrows. "What does that supposed to mean?"
"You were so drunk last night. You called Sesshomaru and said you wanted to have sex."
Rin dropped her utensil and covered her mouth with her hands. "I did not!"
"Yes, and it was so funny!" Kagome laughs hysterically.
Rin quickly lost her appetite. How could she face Sesshomaru now? The last thing she remembers is talking with the girls about moving in with him. Now she would have to deal with Sesshomaru trying to get in her pants every night just because of a silly drunken phone call.
Rin couldn't help but laugh with Kagome, "Well, the cat's out the bag."
"What! So you have been thinking about it?"
Rin shrugged her shoulders, "Well, yeah, I think about it a lot. I have considered taking birth control."
"That's a major step, sis. Are you feeling pressured?
Rin shook her, "No, I am not. I am ready to make love. I want to know what it feels like for him to make love to me. I want to share a bond with him…to give him myself to him… ."
Kagome rests her chin on her hand. "I can't tell you what to do. This is your decision. I will say as your big sister. I don't want you to have regrets. Our decisions can either have a beautiful outcome or be a shit storm. Just put some more thought into this before you decide and then talk it out with your partner."
"Hmm, thanks, Kagome."
"Anytime, little sis."
When the two sisters finish their heart-to-heart, Sango and Ayame can be heard going in the kitchen. They make plates and sit with Rin and Kagome.
Ayame slaps her hands together as if in prayer. "First off, thanks to Rin for cooking!" She takes a bite of her fluffy, buttery pancakes. "Mmph!" She points her finger at Rin. "Second! You are going to get fucked so good when you get home!"
Rin hid her face in embarrassment.
"Don't hide your face now. You the one called Sesshomaru last night saying how bad you want his dick!"
Rin left the table to find her phone. She saw a couple of missed texts from Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru: It seems you are having a lot of fun.
Sesshomaru: Do not drink anymore tonight, or you will be punished for bad behavior.
Sesshomaru: I assume since you are not responding, you are asleep. Call me when you wake up.
Rin dials Sesshomaru's number:
As innocent as she could be, she says, "Hi, honey!"
"Hmm, honey, now?" Sesshomaru teased.
"Stop it, Sesshomaru! You know I called you drunk and may have said some things."
Sesshomaru chuckles, "Is my little mate in heat?"
Rin smiled at Sesshomaru's teasing. "I am not answering that…but you should come get me now. I decided to leave today instead of tomorrow."
"Hmm, eager to come home to your Alpha's… ." Rin interrupts, "Stop it! You are having too much fun with this."
"Indeed, I will be on my way now."
Rin shook her head and smiled at her phone. "Just wait until you hear what I have decided."
