Monster Temple, Mewni: Star vs. the Forces of Evil
It was just another typical day for Mewni's newest knight: in the training room, practicing his sword skills, which he didn't have to for he has spent sixteen years in dimension X-103, but he thought that it wouldn't hurt him to practice every now and then. He would have invited Star to join him, but she had other plans with Pony Head and he didn't want to deal with the flying-headed horse.
His sword training was interrupted by an envelope appearing right in front of his face. He put the sword away and took the envelope to see who sent it to him. He looks closely at it and sees that there was a spade shape wax seal on it. "It's from Eclipsa," Marco said to himself.
He opens the envelope and read the letter. "Sir Marco, as a newly appointed knight, it's my duty to inform you that you have been selected to go on a special solo mission. Meet me in the throne room at once. - Queen Eclipsa." After reading the letter, Marco quickly exit the training room and headed toward the throne room.
A few minutes later in the throne room, Marco was kneeling down with his head down and eyes closed to the queen who was sitting on her throne. "Thank you for coming on such short notice and you don't need to kneel down of is just us Dearie," Eclipsa said with a chuckle seeing Marco. Marco stood up, blushing a little, and with one hand behind his head fromEclipsa giving him an embarrassing nickname, though he doesn't dislike her calling him "Dearie". "Sorry, just want to be formal," he said sheepishly.
"Well, with all the formality out of the way, let's get down to business, shall we?" Eclipsa said as she got up from her throne, took out her umbrella wand, raised up in the air, and many different images came across the room.
"What all this?" Marco asks Eclipsa. "Your mission, of course," Eclipsa said. "Each image you see is a different dimension and each dimension has a problem," she said "What kind of problem?" Marco asked. "The kind of problem that I know only you can solve," Eclipsa said with a smile. "Your mission is to help an individual with their problems," Eclipsa told Marco. "Is that it?" Marco said thinking that the mission is going to be really easy. "There more to it than that," Ecilpsa replies knowing that there was more to the mission than she led on.
She raised her umbrella wand again and summon three sets of orbs in front of Marco. "What are these?" Marco said. "Things you need for your mission," Eclipsa told him.
The first orb transforms into a pair of teal-handles scissors, with the handles shaped like spades. "Dimensional Scissor? But I already have a pair," Marco said. "Yes, but these are special. The scissor has set coordinates that will take you to your next destination after completing the previous one. When you enter the dimension, your clothes and even your appearance will change so that you can blend into the environment. As soon as you completed your task, the scissor will glow, indicating that your next assignment has already been set. Sometimes the scissor will take you to a different location in the same dimension," Eciplsa said.
The second orb turns into what looks like a compact mirror with an arrow sticking out. "This device will help you find the person you have to help. When the arrow is blinking red, that means the person is nearby. When it's solid red, that means whoever the arrow is pointing to will be the person you're looking for. When you open the compact, all the information of that person will be there," Eclipsa explains.
The last orb transforms into a small, pink glass container filled with a mysterious liquid. "What's inside this thing? It looks like a bottle of perfume," Marco asked Eclipsa as he observe the liquid inside the container. "It a vile that will help if you have difficulties with the person you're helping," Eclipsa explains. "What kind of difficulties?" Marco ask. "That for you to find out, Dearie. Just spray it on the person and it'll help them relax so that you can handle the situation much easier,'" Eclipsa replies.
"Is this all I have to take?" Marco said as he put the items in his pocket hoodie. "That and your charming charisma," Eclipsa said with bedroom eyes, winking at him, which caused Marco to blush from that response. After that little compliment, some was glowing in Marco's pocket. He reach inside and notice that the scissor was glowing. "Oh, it looks like your getting your first assignment," Eclipsa said. "I was hoping to say goodbye to everyone before I go," Marco said a little upset. "Don't worry Dearie, I make sure to invite everyone here after you return from completing your mission. We'll even have a party in your honor," Eclipsa said with a reassuring smile. "Thanks," Marco said with a smile back. "But before you go," Eclipsa said as she walks toads him and put both of her hands on his shoulders. "Make sure to be yourself and come home safe," she said as she put her hands on his cheeks, leaned in, and give him a kiss on his forehead. "I will," Marco said with confidence in his eyes.
The way they have themself in position, Eclipsa smirked as she came up with a devious idea. Without a second thought, Eclipsa pull Marco close to her so that his face landed on her chest, causing Marco to freeze into place. "I know that you'll make us all proud," Eclipsa said as she continue hugging his head. All Marco can do is wait for her to stop hugging him, although he must admit that she smells pleasant, like lavender. After a couple of seconds, Eclipsa let go of Marco, and chuckle as she saw him blushing crimson red and trying to hide his face from embarrassment by looking down at the floor.
"Eh, I should get going," Marco said as he try his best to recover himself. He turns around, takes a few steps forward, pulls out his Dimensional Siccor, and created a portal big enough for him. He looks back at Eclipsa, only to see her waving at him, as he waves back with a little blush. He turn back to the portal, closed his eyes, take a deep breath, and enter the portal, leaving Eclipsa alone in the throne room as the portal closed.
"Good luck, my Dearie," Eclipsa said with a sly grin. "But something tells me that you don't really need it,"
