Taylor Fearbrave and the Nightmare Files

This is my first fanfic, about a girl who, with some good friends, tries to retrieve a special treasure taken from her and her brother, I know its a bit like Sly Cooper when he was on the quest for the Thievius Raccoonus, but unlike Sly, my OC, is going into movies, and video games, that would give you nightmares, I only own my OC and this story, I do not own anything else. Done!

43. Shock and Cover

I only own my OC, Taylor, I do not own Carmelita.

[Play A Temporary Truce (1 HR Looped) - The Sly Collection Music]

Taylor and Carmelita soon were at the back of the castle and see up ahead a station, which looks similar to an obstacle course that could be for the Fear Wave, for there were fifteen dynamo bulbs, which were in rows of three, that had black glass, as if it was made for darkness.

Carmelita soon said, "This entire area might be where Nosfearatu is using to control the Fear Wave that will be operational once he places in the Dark Diamond."

"Then we better do some sabotaging immediately before he arrives," Taylor said. Suddenly a bat-bot flew towards them, and took Taylor's staff, it soon flew away, but then Carmelita blasted it with her shock pistol, destroying it and causing the staff to fall on top of the station. Taylor was in shock, and said, "Oh this is not good, without my staff, all I can use is just Median Vision and Enhanced Clairvoyance."

"Don't worry, Taylor, you go through the station and get your staff, I'll cover you with my Shock Pistol. When you get to the top, head for the Fear Wave, for during one of your parts of going after the scientists, I contacted Interpol to send my jetpack in case Nosfearatu has something up his sleeve, however when it was being parachuted to my position, the pilot told me the jetpack's parachute was blasted by what he calls a 'ball of orange energy.' Making it show that N. Tropy had blasted the parachute to destroy the jetpack, which fortunately is fine, but is on top of the Fear Wave."

"Thanks for the advice, Carmelita, but you did keep your word of the pardon you gave me, right?" Taylor asked.

Carmelita replied, "I am an honest cop, Taylor, you did well to help me bring those criminals back to the Hands of Justice, even if some are cloned and others are reformed. But after I cover, I will contact Interpol to pick up the criminals, now get to it."

Taylor soon begins her trek towards her brother's staff. During this obstacle course, N. Brio's chemical slugs and N. Gin's bat-bots did try and get Taylor, but Carmelita soon blasted them with the shock pistol. Taylor eventually reached the dynamo bulbs, which Carmelita shoots and destroys them, while taking out more chemical slugs. Once all fifteen bulbs were destroyed, Taylor managed to grab the Staff, and continued towards the path to the Fear Wave.

Carmelita soon said, "Nice going, Fearbrave, and good luck."

Carmelita sees Taylor looking at her, smiles, and went to the Fear Wave.

Sorry if this is short, but now Taylor managed to get back her staff that was taken by a bat-bot, and Carmelita had sabotaged the power of the Fear Wave's main control station, now it is up to Taylor to get the jetpack. Will Taylor be able to do it?
