Hi everyone!
I finished writing this fanfic! Classes start on Monday so I'll continue to keep uploading, but I won't get to start writing Year 2 for a little bit, probably until I figure out my homework schedule. Enjoy the chapter!
I do not own Harry Potter.
Severus Snape knelt before Lord Voldemort, his shields up, and his mask on. He had two meetings with his 'masters', and unfortunately, both of them required a long meeting with him.
"Severus," the Dark Lord hissed. "I have a surprise for you."
"I am honored, My Lord," Severus replied.
"Stand up and take off your mask."
Severus did as he was told, and glanced up. In front of him was a large cage, big enough to fit a human or two. It was covered in a black cloth. Severus blinked, pushing down all unwanted fear. He hoped he wasn't given another muggle woman to rape. He always killed them after he did his deed. He knew that they were terrified, used, felt dirty, and were overall suicidal anyways. If he didn't kill them, they'd just get tortured more, both physically and mentally. Severus hated killing them, but he felt better about giving them a quick death rather than the "pleasure" from him. Disgusting.
"Would you like to see what is under here?" The Dark Lord asked, red eyes glowing.
"Of course, my Lord," Severus said, doing his best to sound eager.
The cloth was pulled off and it took Severus a few seconds to compose himself. In this incredible cage was Lily Evans. Naked, bruised, bloodied, but alive. His love was alive. Severus felt his eyes start to fill with tears, but he willed them away. His eyes met hers for a brief second, before he plastered a nasty grin on his face.
"The mudblood is yours to do as you wish with, Severus. I have no use for her. I killed her husband, useless man, and she has been living in the dungeons for the last 10 years. I hope that you make good use of her," Voldemort replied, smirking.
Severus knew exactly what 'use' he was talking about. His Lord wanted him to take Lily Potter as a servant, in more ways than one. Severus, however, had different intentions.
"Thank you, my Lord. I hate to leave what looks like such a fun party, but I would like to get this creature home and bent to my will," Severus responded, hoping that he wouldn't have to embarrass Lily Evans any more than she probably was.
"Of course, Severus," Voldemort hissed. "Lucius! Undo the mudblood's cage."
Lucius did as bid, before stepping back and letting Severus stalk forward. Lucius and Severus met eyes for a second, and they both knew that they were questioning their life's decision.
"Get up, Evans," Severus snapped, grabbing Lily's wrist. He made his way back to the Dark Lord, and bowed. "Thank you so much, for this wonderful gift, my Lord. I shall use her well."
"Of course, Severus. Get home and break her in."
Severus pulled Lily out of the room, a little rougher than he probably meant to. Lily was pulled towards the nearest floo, in Lucius's bedroom, where he knew that they wouldn't be disturbed.
"Oh, my Lily flower," Severus said as he shut and locked the door behind him. He quickly took off his cloak and covered her in it. "I'm so sorry I had to be like that with you. Let me get you home, please, I'll help heal you."
Lily let him hold her in his arms in a second before Severus flooed her to Prince Manor. She tumbled out of the fireplace, Severus's cloak spilling on the floor beside her. She grasped for the cloak, and covered her weakened form with it. Severus stepped out of the fire place, and quickly unbuttoned his outer coat, hanging it on the hook next to the fireplace, which was now roaring with a fire again.
"Lucinda!" He called.
Lucinda popped into the library. "Yes, Master Severus?"
"Start a warm bath in my bathroom, I must get your new mistress to the bath immediately."
"Yes, Master Severus." And with a pop, she was gone.
Severus knelt next to Lily. They stared at each other for a few moments.
"Severus," she croaked. "Please be kind to me."
"I will, my dear, but I'll need to bath you and you will need to be naked for some parts so I can help heal you from the pain that you've endured."
Lily nodded, comforted by the calmness that he held in his voice and face. Severus picked Lily up bridal style as he carried her from the library to his bathroom. Lily rested her head on his chest, comforted by the deep rumble that emitted as he spoke nothing but encouragement and praise upon her. There was nothing more that she could have wanted at this moment.
Once they had made it to the bathroom, he rolled up his sleeves, and gently took the cloak off of Lily Evans, before helping her step into the tub and lay down. She hissed as the warm water met some of the injuries that she had accumulated. Severus let her adjust to the warm water before wetting his softest sponge with some soap and water. Starting at her feet, he slowly began to massage and clean every inch of her skin. Lily's eyes were closed, and she was clearly enjoying the help.
Truth be told, she felt useless and dirty, and although she had been present as her husband had been killed, she felt no emotion as the deed was done. With the exception of Lucius and Severus, she had become the sort of Death Eater whore that the Death Eaters wanted. She simply wanted loving touches and someone to take care of her for a few weeks. She had lost most of her emotions as there was no point in grieving. She had never cared much for her husband, and would've much rather married Severus, her childhood sweetheart. They had made love several times during her first year of marriage until she got pregnant, but she didn't know who the father was. Severus, ever the gentleman, had left her, since he was unsure as well, and he didn't want to cause more rifts in her marriage.
Lily was focused on the silence, light touches, and slowly relaxing muscles. Was that lavender that she smelled? She wasn't sure. Lily began to think about her time at Malfoy Manor. Did Severus really not know that she was there? She was startled from her thoughts as Severus called her name.
"Lily," Severus called, a slight tinge of pink in his cheeks. "I hate to be so forward, but would you like me to wash your breasts and lower region? If you are not comfortable with it, I won't but, I'm sure there is damage there as well, and washing would be beneficial, so that way I know what I need to heal."
"You're alright, Severus," Lily whispered. "I trust you to be gentle."
"Very well."
He continued his silent wash of her body, being as gentle as he could be in areas that he knew for sure would be extremely tender. Death Eaters were not gentle. The remainder of the bath was spent in silence. Lily kept her eyes closed and only opened them when Severus presented her with a lavender colored, extremely fluffy bathrobe.
"Thank you," Lily said.
"I need to return to Hogwarts. I need to tell Dumbledore that I have an emergency and cannot teach for a week or two at least, and I want our children here to meet you," Severus said. "Please, rest on my bed, I shall be back in an hour or so."
"Do you intend to tell Dumbledore that I am back?" Lily asked, seeming exhausted.
"No, I plan to tell him that I have been requested to speak with the German Minister of Magic to get him on the Dark Lord's side. I'll later go down to my private chambers and floo Hermione and Harry here. Or would you rather I wait?"
"I would rather you wait for the children to meet me. There is so much that we need to talk about and figure out. I don't want anyone knowing where I am or that I'm alive," Lily said, closing her eyes. Severus took this as his cue to leave, and left Lily to rest and sleep. He practically ran to the library, where he flooed back to his private quarters. He sent a patronus to Dumbledore, requesting to see him at once, and he was almost immediately allowed there.
Severus stalked through the halls at Hogwarts, snarling at any student who got in his way. He was both angry and relieved, confused and shocked, and a whole lot of other emotions he didn't understand how to cope with. He snapped at the statue guarding Dumbledore's office, saying the password, which was cockroach clusters.
"Ah Severus, good to see you my boy. How may I assist you?"
"I have been requested by the Dark Lord to go and visit both the German and French Ministers of Magic. He wants me to make them change their minds and agree with the Dark Lord's mindset. I am planning to have this take at least a week, so that way it seems that I have difficulty with it. I will need to either have another professor take my classes, which will end up being disastrous, or they will need to be cancelled," Severus drawled.
"Very well, Severus. Would you like to sit down and have some tea?" Dumbledore asked calmly.
"No, thank you, Headmaster. I need some time to figure out how to trick the Dark Lord into thinking the Ministers are under his control, when in reality they are acting of their own accord."
"I completely understand Severus. You are dismissed."
"Thank you, Headmaster," Severus said, bowing his head and turning on his heel to leave.
"Severus," Dumbledore called. Severus turned and quirked an eyebrow. What on earth could this man possibly want? "Thank you for remaining loyal to me after all these years. I know that I haven't been the best wizard on the face of the Earth, and I want to apologize for any harm that I may have caused you."
Severus simply nodded his head and turned around and exited before Dumbledore even had another opportunity to keep him from his goals. He stalked through the halls again, continuing to snap at any student who got in his way. When he reached the Slytherin Common Room, he called for his two children, and brought them into his private corners.
"Children, I have to go away for a week or two, and I won't be able to teach lessons. I don't know Dumbeldore's plan for potions, but I want you two to at least brew a potion or two while I'm gone. A few simple ones are fine, but I want you to remain in your studies and to not forget anything. Am I understood?"
"Yes, Daddy," Hermione said. Something was going on but she had no idea what.
"Where are you going?" Harry asked, cocking his head to the side.
"Something extraordinary has happened that I never thought would happen in my life. I need to go take care of it, but for the time being, I want you two to put it out of your minds. You two will learn what it is over the Easter Holidays, but if anyone asks, I am on a trip under Dumbledore's orders. Dumbledore believes that I have gone on a trip for the Dark Lord, but you are to keep that quiet. Please take care of yourselves while I'm gone."
"Of course," the children chorused.
"How will we know if you're okay?" Hermione asked, slightly scared for her father.
"Here," Severus said, an idea popping into his head suddenly. He handed her a locket. "I will communicate with you through this. Harry, if you want to talk to me, ask your sister to send a message through it. You can either hold it in your hand while the locket is closed and think what you want to say, or you can talk to it when it is open. When a message arrives for me, my locket will warm slightly, and when a message arrives for you, your locket will warm slightly. The message will stay until I send a new one."
"Thanks, Dad!" Harry exclaimed.
"Of course. Be good. I'll be back soon."
With a handful of floo powder, Severus had disappeared through the fireplace again, leaving two very confused children in his wake.
