Dearest Desmond,

You know I always enjoy receiving letters from you, even though my father is now suspicious that I have a partner. He keeps saying that he would like to meet the man that makes me so excited to receive letters from. I have told him that he has met him before, so he assumes that it's Jimmy. I don't really have the heart to tell him just yet.

I would love to meet your parents, but I can understand that you do not want me to do so. Anyway, I like the quote. I might write it down somewhere and hang it on my wall, and every time I see it, it'll remind me of you. I must admit, your kindness has been something that made me fall for you as well. You have been so nice the first day we met, I was quite intrigued with your kindness to help a stranger. It made me feel special. About the thing with calling me yours one day, let's wait a bit, alright. I mean, I would love to be your wife one day. Maybe we will even have some beautiful children, but that is a discussion for another day.

However, it's time to answer your questions and ask you some more.

Well, I really enjoy a good stew. I don't know why, but somehow a good home-made stew is a very nice meal. It lets me forget all my troubles. Like the world isn't as bad as it seems. I would love to cook something with you, maybe we can watch a film too. I think it would be nice.

If I had infinite money and neither ethics nor morals would hold me back, what would I do? Difficult question, but I think, I wouldn't change much in my life. I'm happy where I am, I don't really have something I would want to achieve. Maybe use it for medical research and such, maybe even help you.

A gemstone? I never thought about it. I'm not really familiar with geology and what gemstones mean. But I like the idea of Ruby and Sapphire. A sapphire is a stone also associated with having a calming effect, so I think it suits us well. Red and blue compliment each other very well too.

Hmm, I run out of things to ask you. It's harder than it looks to find things to ask you.

I know it's still a way to go, but what would you name your children? I'm not really good with names, but I think it would depend on how they look. I would like to call a girl Penelope. I think it would be a fitting name, but what do you think?

Do you like Ice Skating? It's starting to get colder and in winter, when the Themes River is frozen, maybe we could go Ice skating. Don't worry, I would hold your hand if needed.

Do you think traditions are good and should be upheld or do you think that traditions are something weird? I personally think that traditions aren't inherently bad, but trying to uphold them as much as possible is damaging. I for don't uphold my family's tradition of dating a medical doctor. I just don't want to. Maybe another doctor can make my heart sore ;).

Anyway, I hope to see you around and hope that my questions aren't to weird or off putting. I enjoy reading your letters and responses to my questions, they always make my day.

With Love,

Scarlett
