Ellie sighed once more as she walked to school the very next morning while thinking about Little Vampire and Fantomate.
Hoping that the meeting between them had been nothing more than a dream, Ellie had quickly forgotten about the two until she walked past the old mansion and realized the events had not been a dream at all.
Due to this, Ellie was now worried that she'd have to go back to his house in order to speak to Little Vampire's parents as they had seen her along with all the other creatures that live in the old place last night.
"Maybe they'll forget about what happened last night." Ellie mumbled to herself, but even with her hopeful thinking, Ellie knew that she'd have no choice but to go back to the mansion like she promised Little Vampire.
Once at school, Ellie met up with her best friend Daina who was talking to Michel. "I just had an upset stomach, nothing to worry about." Michel said with a smile, Daina smiled back softly with a little blush on her face.
Ellie rolled her eyes at the two. "Still being a flirt or are gonna ask her out?" Ellie asked Michel, he and Daina looked at Ellie. "Please don't say that." Daina pleaded to Ellie as her and Michel's faces turned fire truck red.
"Why do you always have to interrupt us?" Michel asked in annoyance, hearing that tone in his voice made Ellie growl. "Daina is my best friend and I've always looked out for her." Ellie answered him back very coldly.
Daina got between the two. "Break it up you, guys." Daina said sternly, both back down but still glared at the other. "Time for class!" The teacher called out; everyone followed the teacher right into the classroom.
As the school day droned on, Ellie got even more upset with Michel as he flirted with Daina and the other girls in class then stepped in as the class bully dumped his drink all over the girls as she really disliked him.
"I had him right where I wanted him!" Michel shouted at Ellie; Daina stood between them again. "Pu-leez! That jerk was punching you way before you could even blink!" Ellie retorted as they all walked back home.
Daina sighed as her friends bickered with each other before she saw the old mansion and gasped in fear. "What's wrong?" Ellie and Michel asked her, Daina pointed to the opened window and saw two figures in it.
Michel paled at the shadows of Mrs. Pandora and the Captain of the dead. "It's probably just some old figure stands like the ones they have at the mall." Ellie said soothingly, Daina listened to her and calmed down.
As Ellie and Daina walked away, Michel wondered why Little Vampires parents were watching them when the two adults should still be asleep since the sun hadn't set, but then he saw that they were watching Ellie.
Michel raced after the girls and saw that they had parted ways, so he went after Ellie. "Wait up!" Michel called after her, Ellie paused with an annoyed sigh. "What do you want?" Ellie asked Michel as he caught up.
"You know, don't you." Michel stated plainly, at first Ellie had no idea what he was talking about until she put the pieces of the puzzle together. "You're in on it too?" Ellie asked in shock, Michel nodded yes at Ellie.
Ellie backed away. "I'm not going back there, and you can't make me!" Ellie shouted at him; Michel jumped at her anger as she ran away from the confused boy since she had wanted no part of the supernatural.
After a few minutes of running, Ellie saw that she was back at the town's old library which was her hiding place. "I need to unwind." Ellie said to herself, she went inside the empty building to play some music.
Ellie went all the way to the back of the building where she had put down some pillows and blankets weeks ago in order to be more comfortable as she grabbed her keyboard and began playing her favorite song.

After that last line, Ellie sighed with relief and closed her eyes as she felt much calmer than before. "That was beautiful." Pandora's voice spoke up, Ellie opened her eyes and turned to see both Pandora and the Captain.
"How did you two find me?" Ellie asked nervously, she took a step back. "We mean you no harm, child." The Captain told her gently, Eillie still kept her guard up. "Why are you here?" Ellie asked the two adult monsters.
"We need to speak with you about last night." Pandora answered softly, despite hoping they'd forget about that, Ellie chose to listen to them as they told her everything that had happened with the Gibbous weeks ago.
"I already know not to blab to anyone since they wouldn't believe me." Ellie said at the end of the tale, she wasn't kidding about giving the adults her word and hoped that it'd be enough to get them to leave her alone.
Pandora already seemed to know what Ellie was thinking. "Little Vampire was hoping you'd come to play with him and Michel." Pandora replied to Ellie, the young girl silently sighed. "Fine." Ellie responded to Pandora.
The adult vampire gently lifted Ellie into her arms and away the three went back to the old mansion. "You're here!" Little Vampire exclaimed happily; Michel noticed that Ellie was now blushing from embarrassment.
"Y-yeah, well...I couldn't disappoint you." Ellie responded as she glanced away, Pandora and the Captain looked at each other with knowing looks. "Alright both of them are here, go play!" Fantomate said unhappily.
Ellie followed Little Vampire, Michel and Fantomate inside the house so they could show her everything. "Should we be concerned?" The Captain asked Pandora, she smiled as she shook her head fondly at her husband.
"I believe that everything will be fine." Pandora replied to him, they followed the kids inside and saw Fantomate arguing with Claude the mutant alligator and Marguerite a Frankenstein type monster about something.
Michel and Little Vampire tried to break them up as Ellie chatted with Ophtalmo a three-eyed monster who dress like a gentleman. "It's going to be an interesting night." Pandora mused as the Captain sighed at sight.
