The scene opens up with the five rangers standing holding their wrist up while their stones glowing.

Cuts to the five individually finding their stones changes to being brought to twilight town meeting Mortuu.

Chapter 7: The Book of freaks

Base

It was currently nighttime in the all rangers were asleep except for Dipper he was sneaking around the dark hall's but he wasn't alone with him was the teams trusty machine R-g , Dipper being a natural adventurer and jr mystery solver was eager to learn a tad bit more about his teammates. He was told by his great-uncle ford of other worlds but he never imagined something as big as this, he was eager to learn everything from his teammates and their worlds.

"Thanks for doing this R-g". Dipper said.

"No problem Dipper but doesn't this seem like an invasion of privacy to your teammates"? The robot asked.

"No way you heard what Mortu said we should get to know each other better" .

"Um yeah but-".

"Look they won't mind, we'll be in and out" .

"Well okay"

"Good now get your recorder cam ready". the robot eye blinked red giving the boy a thumbs up.

"Is it on? Alright good hey guys if you haven't been petrified or anything welcome back to Dipper's guide to the unexplained this time we'll be exploring my teammates who all come from different worlds let's get to it".

The boy and the robot first went inside Louie's room the duck boy was sound asleep wearing green flannel pajamas. R-g zoomed over to Louie and raised its head to look directly at Louie to capture him in the frame. "Alright guys here's one of my teammates Louie as you can see is a duck wearing clothes he even has fingers. Dipper grabbed his hand holding it up to the camera. "I've also noticed that he doesn't wear pants''. Dipper pulled Louie's sheets down revealing his whole body; this however was enough to wake the duck boy up with a not very u pleasant look on his face.

"Dude what are you doing"? Louie asked

"Uh- do ducks in your world still migrate"? He asked

Dipper was then thrown out along with R-g "Let me sleep" Louie said as he closed the door.

"Perhaps that's a no". Dipper said.

"Do you still want me to record?". R-g asked.

"Yes of course". we got more to cover.

Next morning

The rangers were off doing their own thing Marco was sparring, Louie was loafing around drinking a salt soda, Luz was working on her glyph spells and Anne was in her room. Dipper decided he would get some information on Luz hearing her story about being in a world of magic really intrigued him.

"All Right we're back at part two of Dipper's guide to the unexplained. This time I'm focused on Luz, a girl who just came from a world of magic she has these glyphs which she uses because magic doesn't come natural to her".

The pines boy followed R-g over to where Luz was sitting and the robot inched it's head over to Luz the yellow ranger hadn't even noticed until she looked over to the left and fell out of her seat frightened. "What the R-g what're you doing"?

"So tell me Luz what sort of spell are you working on now" Dipper asked

Luz immediately pressed the glyph and shot Dipper with a blast of fire sending him flying and covered in smoke, he let a few coughs before sitting back up.

"Wow Dipper you alright"? R-g asked

"yeah yeah I'm good looks like Luz doesn't want to talk either so I guess we're going to Anne next"

Anne was in her room jamming to the tunes on her phone the pink ranger performed some pretty smooth moves side stepping to the rhythm, unbeknownst to her she was being watched from up above. Dipper along with R-g viewed her from the vents, "Dipper what the heck are we doing? This kind of just feels like we're peeping on a girl". R-g said.

"It's nothing like that man doing this for information now help lower me".

The robot wrapped its arms around Dipper, opened the vent and lowered the blue ranger into Annes room, he was inches away from grabbing the phone. "Come on come on closer". The pines boy said. Right before Dipper could grab it he felt a tap on his shoulder, the pines boy looked behind him and froze in fear as he saw an angry looking Anne staring daggers at him. R-g got scared, let go of Dipper and ran down the vents leaving him to his fate. Dipper fell on his face and looked up at Anne who still had a look of anger. "So Anne what's happening". The pink ranger didn't answer; she just cracked her knuckles and tossed Dipper like a sack of rice out of her room.

The pines boy got to his feet and dusted himself off. "Okay maybe Marco will be more open". The blue ranger then went off to look for his fearless leader.

Marco was in the training room up against holo-bots. He was already an acceptanal fighter but it never hurt to keep training, Dipper came in quietly with notepad and a pen and walked over towards Marco. "Hey Marco what's the difference between humans and-" Suddenly Marco accidentally kicked Dipper in the stomach sending him flying and falling on the ground. Realizing what he's done, the simulation ends and runs over to his teammate to help him up, "Are you okay man, what the heck were you doing"? Marco asked.

"Gathering information". Dipper answered through the pain. Suddenly R-g rolled in grabbing Dipper by the shoulders and guiding him to the med bay. "This did not end well". The robot said.

Few minutes later Dipper had recovered from the kick Marco gave him, he made his way towards the mess hall for a bite.

"Oh boy it was crazy". Dipper heard Louie's voice from the mess hall.

"Just loomed over me like a ghost while I was sleeping it was super weird". The duck boy said holding a can of salt soda.

"My experience was worse. He was crawling around the vents and entered my room while I couldn't hear him". Anne exclaimed.

"Man you did have it worse". Luz said creeped out.

"What's his deal, why's he being a complete weirdo"? Louie asked.

R-g rolled in. "I can answer that you see Dipper told me that he's grown up with a love for mystery and he's always had a desire for finding the answers.

"Well his desires are creeping me out. I mean respect people's boundaries". Anne said.

After hearing them Dipper saddened about it and made his way out of the base to take a walk into the city, hopefully to get his mind off things.

Twilight city

Dipper was walking through the city feeling a bit down for creeping out his teammates and at the same time he still wanted answers. "Man I wish there was some way I could get the answers to what I'm looking for". Dipper then spotted a library up ahead. "Hey maybe that place has knowledge of the other worlds". The blue ranger ran towards the building and made his inside. "Wow". There were shelves with a wide array of books all over with different genre sections to them. "Incredible". Dipper said. "Looking for something young man". Called out a voice, the pines boy looked behind him to see a middle aged man wearing a tan dress robe with glasses and black boots. "Greetings I'm the librarian, how may I help you" ."Oh I just popped inside and was taken back by the acoustics of this place". "Yes it's quite beautiful is it not, you look like a lad hankering for knowledge are you interested in something"?

"Yeah, you see I'm someone looking for a way to learn more about alternate worlds and I just don't know how". Dipper explained.

"How disappointing but rest assured I have something just for you to follow me". The librarian motioned the boy to follow him which he did. He led him to a back room with dusty shelves in the center stood a pedestal with a chest on top of it. The librarian took out a key from his sleeve and opened the chest, he took out a dusty midsized book he blew it off and the cover had a picture of a yellow gazing eyeball.

"I believe this should suffice for all your interest". He spoke.

"What is it"?

"This is the journal of worlds; it has the answers that you are looking for and desire". He hands Dipper the book whose face is filled with excitement.

"Hey how much-"?

"I couldn't possibly charge a ranger for you, it's free".

"Really oh man thanks so much".

With that Dipper said goodbye and ran out the building filled with excitement, once he made it outside he made his way to a park bench and began to examine the book's pages, and to say Dipper was impressed was an understatement. "Oh man this thing has all sorts of creatures, some that i've seen before in my world and others that are entirely new". He was so into the book Dipper didn't seem to realize the glow radiating from the book.

Base

The four rangers who were formerly vexed with Dipper have now calmed down and were now back to doing their own thing in the recreational room, Louie sat playing an app on his phone Marco was playing video games on the tv, and the girls were laughing and sharing videos on each others phones. Soon the ranger's mentor Mortu walked in. "Rangers pardon the intrusion but where is Dipper"?

"Eh he's probably out in the city looking for a new mystery" Louie said.

"It's getting late though perhaps we should go look for him. He might have been attacked by raid-bots or something", Marco said, facing Mortu.

"Indeed post haste we can't afford to lose one of our comrades, as it would be a problem for us in the long run".

"S'up you guys". The five turned their heads to see their blue ranger entering.

"Dipper there you are" R-g called out. The robot sped up to the pines boy circling around him with excitement making the blue ranger giggle form the robots antics. "Hey R-g" Dipper greeted back.

"Dipper where've you been" Mortuu asked?

"Oh well I felt so bad about this morning I decided to visit a library and look I got this rad book it's got information from all the worlds in D-55".

"Really" called out Luz, and she and the others soon became interested as well.

"Wow hey those are herons from wartwood" Anne pointed out.

"Demons" Luz called out.

"How much did you pay for this thing?" Louie asked.

"Not a dime man the librarian let me have it for me because I was a ranger".

"Wait you mean we can get free stuff just by being rangers". Louie began to get a mischievous look on his face while rubbing his hands together, Mortu gave the green duck a look as if he were saying don't even think about it.

"Anyways with this book it could be useful to help us learn more about the other worlds out there, not to mention i'll have fun researching".

Mortu began to ponder to himself then realized that perhaps Dipper is correct this book can be useful for them. "Dipper you have a point if this will indeed be a great asset you're free to do your research as your heart's content".

"You got it Mortu", Dipper shrieked like a girl before running to his room with excitement.

Later at Night

Dipper had studied his new book all night. He didn't leave the room for anything, not even to use the bathroom, the pine's boy led out a large yawn and his eyes started to feel heavy. "Oh boy I think it's time I hit the hay but right after I hit the john". Dipper got up from his bed and headed towards his bathroom but unbeknownst to him the book began glowing and something started to materialize from it. After Dipper was done he made his way towards the door right before he was about to exit he was met face to face with a large feline quadruped creature with four eyes expandable claws and a scorpions tail. "What the heck ahedron", the monster let out a roar and shot it's tail at the blue ranger which he ducked slid under the beast and doved for the door and ran down the hall.

His yells of course didn't go unheard; it caught the attention of the others who peered out their rooms wondering what was going on. "Dipper what are you doing man"? Louie asked.

"Guys there's a monster in my room and it tried to kill me"! Suddenly the door to Dipper's room busted open and the monster from before emerged snarling and bearing it's claws and fangs at the rangers.

Without warning it leaped at the five but with quick reflexes they avoided it's pounce and ran down the hall.

"What the heck is that thing"!? Asked Luz.

"It's a Scorpileo I dealt with one back in wartwood, their predatory creatures' '. Anne explained.

"A scorpion and a lion man that is one messed up horoscope". Louie said.

The rangers ended up in the training room and used their bodies to barricade the door, "How did that thing get here" Marco asked?

The beast began banging harshly on the door and the five did their best to hold it back, suddenly it's scorpion tail pierced through the door nearly striking Louie. Then with one more powerful strike it broke the door down sending the rangers flying. The half bug half mammal beast was angry and was ready to kill Anne got up and stood her ground against it, "Don't worry guys I have a plan just stay back". The pink ranger closed her eyes then squatted down and started to bob her head back and forth before shaking her whole body, the other just watched with raised eyebrows as if they were questioning her methods. Anne finally stood up and began to wave her arms around trying to entice the beast, however her methods didn't seem to work. All it did was make the beast angry and launch it's scorpion tail at her.

"Anne lookout"! Dipper said as he tackled Anne to get her out of the way.

"What was that"?

"I-I don't know that worked last time".

"I got this"! Luz called out and she took out a light spell and flashed it at the beast blinding it.

"Louie"! The yellow ranger called out.

The duck boy made his way toward the monster and climbed up on it's back and started to bang on it prompting it to use it's stinger on the duck. Louie however had a fast reaction and moved out the way and the scorpileo stung itself. The monster let out a loud shriek of pain then suddenly it poofed away.

"What the heck it's gone". Marco said.

"I feel like there's some magic afoot here," Luz said.

"What's all the commotion in here? Mortuu said, walking in wearing a pink robe.

"Wow nice robe Mort buddy", Louie said in a teasing manner earning him a glare.

"Mortu some monster from wartwood just appeared in Dippers room and it tried to kill us". Anne explained.

"We don't know where it came from", Marco added.

"My guess is that Savant probably found a way to lure creatures in the base somehow", said Luz.

"This is quite concerning if that's the case well all have to be on guard and remain on stand by for now rangers".

"You got it Mortu", Marco answered.

Louie began to let out a yawn, "Whelp this has been a fun night but it's time I head off to bed".

"Lou's right we've enough excitement for one night". Marco said. With that the rangers headed off to bed.

Next morning

The rangers all woke up feeling pretty groggily; last night's event tired them out.

"Man last night was unexpected", Anne stated,

"I'll say I just wish I knew where that thing came from", Luz said.

"And if Savant is behind this we'll have our work cut out for us", Marco added.

"Hey where's Dipper? Is he still in his room"? Anne asked.

Suddenly Dipper walked into the mess hall and he looked pretty rough, his eyes were red and were glued into the book. He had a mug of coffee in one hand and the book in the other, he wasn't looking where he was going and he tripped and fell over. "OH Morning Guys".

"Geez man did you get any sleep at all last night"? Louie asked.

"I couldn't after what happened last night made me want to stay up and study some more, hey we have some more coffee".

The blue ranger zoomed over towards the counter and poured himself a cup and finished it with one whole swig.

"Wow wow there buddy I don't think all that coffee is healthy if you haven't even slept". Anne said.

"You're right I mean this is my ninth or tenth cup already".

Marco then came over to his teammate and took the mug from his hand, "Ok I think you've had enough". The red ranger dumps the coffee into a sink.

"I don't like this, the city has been quiet, no attacks, no monsters or anything". Louie said.

"This kind of concerns me, you think he's found a way to sneak under the radar"? Luz asked.

"Maybe, I say we head out and patrol around the city". Marco satiated

With that the four got up and headed out but stopped and noticed Dipper lying on the floor asleep, "We can't leave him here nor can we bring him with us". Luz stated.

Marco and Louie carried Dipper back to his room and set him down in his bed to rest, Luz came in and placed Dipper's book on the bed next to him."Let him rest so the four of us can patrol without him". With that the four made their way out of the base and into the city, while the pines boy was asleep the book began to glow once more.

Twilight town

The four rangers split up and looked around the town looking for anything suspicious so far they haven't come up with anything, they even asked the citizens there if they've seen anything to no avail they didn't. They met up in the center of the city to report their findings, "I've got nothing" Marco said, "Same here". Replied Luz and Anne, "Negative on my end". Louie said while eating salt ice-cream. He got looks from his teammates, "What"? "You stopped to get ice-cream"?! Anne asked "I got the hankering," Louie said in his defense.

All of sudden screams are heard in the distance and flocks of citizens are running away, the rangers run towards the source of the ruckus and see what it is. They saw an eight-foot tall monster with mummy linen cloth wearing pharaoh clothing and had a bird beak, Louie recognized the beast all too well.

"Wow a mummy crazy". Luz said.

"That's not ordinary mummy that's the Pharaoh toth-ra, he's from my world and I had a really bad run in with him". Louie explained it was filled with a bit of post trauma!

"Well don't worry Lou you're not alone and you're able to defend yourself let's take this out, ready". Marco said.

"Ready, Disney Ranger Power huh". The four were instantly morphed and charged at toth-ra.

Louie charged in first and swung his khopesh blades at toth-ra's legs making the pharaoh stumble a bit, this earned the duck ranger a nasty glare and Louie began to cower in fear showing he regrets what he did. Toth-ra raised his arm and tried to slam it down on the green range but this was intercepted by Luz who used her staff to block him. "Louie move back". The yellow ranger ordered and Louie did as told. Luz felt herself being grabbed by the pharaoh and was squeezed hard in his clutches, she let out a scream of pain.

"Luz"Anne called out. "Come on she needs help" Marco said

The pink and red ranger took out glyph's Luz loaned them and they put them on their signature weapons.

"Ice glyph". Anne called out.

"Lighting glyph". Marco said.

Anne pointed her slash at the monster firing shards of ice in the pharaoh's back after the spell connected Toth-ra dropped the yellow ranger. "Luz grab Louie'' Marco ordered, the yellow ranger nodded and dragged her fellow green ranger to safety.

Marco raised his axe and charged towards the egypitain behemoth and swung his axe into its chest sending currents of electricity through its body. However the mighty pharaoh fought through the pain, grabbed Marco and tossed him into Anne. Luz and Louie joined up with their teammates.

"You guys okay"? Luz asked.

"This is crazy he was never this tough last time," Louie said.

"We can give up come on you guys". Anne said standing up.

Toth-ra let out a loud roar and charged at the ranger top speed but he was intercepted by a massive punch to the face causing him to stumble back. It was Dipper now morphed in his ranger uniform, "You guys okay sorry if im late" he called out. Toth-ra shook off Dipper's attack and ran towards him to try to nail him with attacks, the pines boy was too quick and easily avoided the monster's attack.

The blue ranger swung it's fist and nailed Ra in the face with a left hook followed by an uppercut, finally Dipper activated a fire glyph on his smack hands and they were soon covered in flames. He leapt up, landed on the Pharaoh's shoulder and covered his face with his smack hands burning his face. Suddenly Toth-ra soon poofed away completely, vanishing the rangers.

"You guys alright"? Dipper asked

"Yeah thanks to you". Louie replied.

"There goes another monster poofing" Luz said.

"Geez how is Savant doing this, is he taking creatures from our worlds and bringing them here"? Marco asked.

"Probably" Anne said.

The rangers morphers/communicators went off.

"Go ahead," Marco answered.

" RANGERS-WE NEED HELP NO-".

"R-g, R-g, oh man we better get over there now". Marco said. The rangers all made their way to their base to help out their mentor and robot.

Base

The rangers arrived back at the base and were shocked at the total mayhem they were witnessing. There were dozens of creatures all over wreaking mayhem in the base, there were gnomes kill-a-pillar, giant scorpions and many other bizarre species. "Look up there". Anne pointed out, They saw Mortu in the grasp of a kill-a-pillar.

R-g ran up to them, "Rangers thank goodness you're here it's a madhouse"!

"Where'd they all come from"? Luz asked.

"No idea they just showed up out of nowhere". R-g answered.

"Okay guys let's get rid of these freaks"! Marco ordered.

"Right"! Each ranger split up and took on a number of creatures.

Anne ran over to the kill-a-pillar who let go of Mortu to face her, seeing the creature made her feel sentimental. It reminded her of when she dealt with domino-2, "You remind me of my two pet's back in my universe". Anne spoke. The bug monster let out a roar and lunged at her with her claws, Anne retaliated with a sword slash but the bug was to quick flew above her grabbed her and took her for a spin.

Luz and Louie were fending off a slither beast the yeti looking behemoth shoots them with goo from its body which Luz and Louie avoids by the yellow ranger using her shield to block the attacks. "Luz fend this thing off I attack from behind". Louie said.

"D-pistol" Luz took out her sidearm and blasted the monster in the face while Louie came from behind leaped onto the monster and stabbed it in its hide. The slither beast didn't like this too much and let out a massive roar and began to shake like crazy, the duck boy was forced to hold on for dear life.

"Louie" Luz called out in worry but the yellow ranger was swatted away by the beast's massive paw.

Dipper and Marco weren't having much luck dealing with a horde of gnomes what they lacked in size and strength they made up for it in numbers. They soon became too overwhelmed by the numbers. "Oh man-oh man what do we do"? Dipper asked.

Back with Luz and Louie they weren't having any luck on their end Louie had been tossed off and was running around beside Luz. The yellow ranger brought out her lighting glyph and shot it at the beast buying them some time to escape and take cover. "We need a plan," Luz said. Using his sharp mind Louie analyzed some possible angle's and came up with a plan. "I know what to do". Louie activated his communicator, "Guys listen up I got a plan, Luz get that monster's attention". She nodded and ran towards the beast. "Hey ugly over here" said the yellow ranger which got it's attention and gave chase to her.

"Anne hijack that butterfly". Louie ordered. The pink ranger summoned her super strength from her stone broke free from the bugs grasp and lept onto it's back, "Yee-haw" she let out with joy as the kill-a-pillar flew around recklessly.

"Marco just sit tight and hold off those gnomes best you can". The red ranger stood his ground defending himself against the tiny men waiting for Louie's plan to kick in.

"Now Anne steer that bug into the slither beast". Louie ordered. The pink ranger did as was told and drove the monster bug into the larger monster, Luz took this opportunity and whipped out her earth glyph creating a rock fist which sent both monsters flying over to where Marco and the gnomes were at. The red ranger saw the incoming beast and quickly moved out of the way, the gnomes all turned to see what was approaching. "SHMEBULOCK". One gnome let out before they were all crushed.

Soon all monsters suddenly poofed away the rangers all regrouped together along with Mortuu, "Is everyone alright what happened"?

"I'll tell you what, this"! Mortu took out Dipper's book and tossed it to the ground.

"Hey my book". Dipper reached his hand out but was stopped by his mentor.

"This book is what's been causing all these monsters to show up out of nowhere, I know this because I saw them materialize from it, then when I had a chance to to look I noticed some of them were missing from the pages confirming it". Mortu explained. R-g rolled up to the group.

"This thing is too dangerous we need to find the guy who loaned this to Dipper and make him take it back". Anne said.

"Well wait wait maybe we don't have to". Dipper said, interjecting.

"Hear me out we don't have to destroy it necessarily just probably contain it". Everyone gave him questioning looks.

Suddenly the book opened up shining a bright light that sucked in Louie Anne Marco and Luz, it finally shut then flew out of the lair. "Oh no" said Dipper, he ran after the book right out of the lair and into twilight town. The blue ranger followed the book until it stopped and caught in the hands of the same librarian who gave it to him. "You what are you doing here"? The pines boy asked.

"Oh hello there young man as for what i'm doing im here well". His voice became sinister, he soon began to undergo a transformation, his skin was green, his fingers grew claws and his eyes were protruding out. "I'm here to destroy you and your friends".

"Your one of Savants monsters"?

"Right you are, names Book-Keeper I was told you were a succker for mystery and so Savant had this book filled to the brim with answers, that's why I gave it to you so it could destroy you and your friends".

"And your boss managed to nab all those creatures and seal them in that book right, along with my friends"? Dipper asked.

"Yes and soon you as well blue boy". Book-Keeper then ran at Dipper ready for an attack but Dipper was ready himself. Both opponents were trading blows with one another, the pines boy was getting the upper hand, surprisingly the bookkeeper wasn't all that good a fighter. Dipper knocked him to the ground and was about to go in for the final blow but Keeper held the book up as a shield making the blue ranger stop; he knew if the book was destroyed then his friends would be too. Keeper took this as an advantage and delivered a kick to Dipper sending him flying.

"It's over blue ranger" Keeper then proceeds to open the book in order to suck Dipper inside when suddenly the book exploded and blew up from inside four colors which were pink, red, yellow and green came out revealing to be the other rangers. "Guy's your back but how"?

"Fire glyph" Luz answered.

Keeper got to his feet and saw his book had been roasted "No my I-I must get out of here" keeper turned to run away. "I don't think so" Dipper slams his fist onto the ground sending an earthquake towards the keeper tossing him in the air Luz and Louie leapt up and striked the Keeper with their special weapons, and finally Marco and Anne went in for the finishing blow completely destroying it. "Alright read em weep". Dipper said

Savants ship

Lazurus and Derp were watching through the screen of Derps computer, they just witnessed Book-Keepers destruction. "You're not using the metro ray doc"? The first mate asked. "No keeper was a weak monster besides the book was the real threat and with that gone well there's no point".

"You're lucky the captain was napping or else he'd be angry". Lazarus told him

"Worry not the book gave me an idea of how I can capture and destroy the rangers". Derp said

Base

"Man so glad that's over good thing you keep those glyphs on you Luz being stuck in a book sucks".

"No prob never leave home with them". The yellow ranger replied

"I don't know about you guys but I think I've had enough of books and mysteries ". Louie said

"Say where Dipper"? Anne asked I think he's in his room. Louie began to get an evil grin. "Say how about we go see what he's up to, you in R-g", the other three got equally evil grins on their faces.

The four other rangers along with R-g arrived at the front of Dipper's room the robot had his camera ready to record. "Okay let's do this". Marco said in between giggles he opened the door and saw Dipper with nothing on but a towel singing his favorite song Disco girl.

"Disco Girl
