Big Issues
AN: This will be a shorter chapter, the length will likely be made up by the next one. But who doesn't enjoy something short and sweet?
Endurance
"Why are we here again?" Weiss asks as she follows her team into one of Beacon's combat arenas that teams often use for practice.
"Because we thought that we'd help you kids." Anya scoffs at the heiress.
"But why are we here without our weapons?" Ruby asks as she follows her fellow team leader through the door. She never was good without a weapon in hand.
"Because you won't need them for this kind of training." Denko answers as they entered the arena proper, the eight of them standing in a loose circle.
"And what kind of training is that?" Yang was getting excited, unarmed combat was her forte after all.
"Endurance training, defensive drills, offensive practice…" Itazura listed off, counting on her fingers as her ears twitched and tail swayed lazily behind her.
"Isn't that something that would be best trained with our weapons?" Weiss asks, feeling somewhat uncomfortable at the prospects of what the training may entail.
"Don't worry about it, Ice Queen." Denko says as he wanders towards the middle of the floor. The girl in question bristled at the nickname she'd been given. It was bad enough that her Yang used it often, even Roman Torchwick had used it!
Denko shoved his hands in his pockets as he paced a bit, feeling a little restless at the thought of doing this form of training with someone new. "We've done this training exercise plenty of times and it's worked out well for us so far. The concept is pretty simple, one partner is on defense, the other on offense. You have three minutes to do whatever you can without violating those roles and prevent your auras from reaching zero in that time."
The younger team looked incredulously at the blonde, though it varied from one girl to another. Ruby was extremely worried that she couldn't do much without Crescent Rose. Weiss knew that she had the lowest endurance of her whole team but was not looking forward to the potential aspect of beating endurance into herself. Blake was looking at this as a waste of time, she had research on the White Fang to do. Yang… was practically bouncing where she stood, making the rest of her pudgy body bounce in turn.
"How about a volunteer so we can show you how we do it?" Denko asks, looking at Ruby only to blink in surprise that Yang seemed to teleport by his side.
"Let's do this!" She had a wild grin on her face as she continued to bounce. Denko had to turn his head to avoid staring at the bouncing breasts in front of him. Sometimes hormones and instincts were hard to ignore.
Denko had to clear his throat to regain his composure, he was not prepared for Yang's exuberance combined with her flirtatious clothing choices. "Alright, we'll flip a coin to see who does what." He pulls a simple copper coin from his pocket and shows it to the plump blonde, turning it over so she could see that it depicted a Beowolf head on one side and a crown on the other. "Crown is offense, Grimm is defense." With that he flicks the coin high into the air with his thumb.
"Crown!" Yang was quick to answer, though she had to wait a few seconds for the coin to come back down from nearly hitting the ceiling.
"Trying to take out the lights again?" Anya taunts from her place leaning against the wall.
Denko ignored the jab at a past mistake as he catches the coin without issue and slams it onto the back of his other hand. Yang leaned in to see that the crown was not facing up, to her disappointment. She crossed her arms with a huff.
"Ha-ha, don't worry Yang. We switch roles after the first round." Denko laughs as the coin is returned to his pocket. That seemed to appease the girl enough that she dropped the theatrics and looked at him with a smile.
"Glad to hear it. So, hit me with the rules again." She began stretching her arms.
Denko stretched a bit himself, his neck cracking loudly and causing him to sigh in relief as the stiffness was removed. "It's pretty simple for defense, you do whatever you can to avoid being hit. The big thing is to never hit back during that time. The attacker does just that, do whatever they can to hit whoever is on defense and wear down their aura." Ruby and Weiss paled upon hearing the clarified rules before they scrambled to the walls. Blake followed suit at a slower pace as she really didn't have her mind on training right now but she also didn't have a book or her notes on their investigation so far.
Talon and Itazura stood by the door, watching the match that was about to begin with smiles. The Faunus inputting a few commands on her scroll, the cameras in the room focusing on the blondes, the lights dimmed in the around the arena except for the lights that were locked onto the pair as they readied themselves for their fight.
For Yang, this was going to be far from what she was used to. She was used to be the one taking the fight to her opponent, smashing through whatever defenses they might be able to put up, shield or aura, until she was declared the winner. Now… she had to do the complete opposite.
A buzzer sounded off to signal the beginning of the round. Immediately, Denko jumped forward, his left hand flicking upwards to deliver a backhand from above to her head. Yang lifted her right arm and blocked the surprisingly weak attack. Though why it seemed so weak became clear as his elbow bent to allow the limb to flow around her own before the joint slammed into her forehead, snapping her head back and causing the girl to stumble back and curse.
"What the fuck was that?" She yells as she blinks the stars from her eyes, glad that her aura took the damage.
Yang ignored Ruby yelling "Swear jar!" from the side.
She didn't get any verbal reply as Denko stuck out with a kick to her side, one that she was able to block with her arm. The other leg snapped up from the other side caught her hip and caused her to stumble into the right leg swinging around again to catch her in her well-padded stomach and knocking the wind out of her.
Denko launched a punch at her head but missed as Yang had the sense to push herself backwards and using the brief reprieve to breath before she rolled to her feet. Rolling when she dodged is something that both her and Ruby were finding to be getting easier as their bodies grew rounder. Weiss and Blake had some issues as they were more bottom heavy and not as round as the sisters. Blake did find it easy to roll so long as she did so on her hips more than her shoulders with how big her rear was growing.
Yang had to pull back on her instinctual punches as she was forced to bob and weave around the punches that her friend threw at her while her arms had to deal with fending off his lashing legs. A straight kick at her chest was a good time for her to spin around the attack and grab hold of the limb. Continuing her rotation, Yang was able to rip Denko off his foot and threw him towards the wall.
"I thought she couldn't do that?" Ruby asks her Faunus friend.
Itazura's ears perked at the question before the girl turned away from the fight where Denko had rebounded off the wall to reengage the spar. "The only real rule for the defender is to not hit back. Throwing the attacker isn't an attack so it counts as defense."
"That sounds like a loop hole in the rules." Weiss comments, rather familiar with contracts and their clever wording.
The fox shrugged, "Not really, but it's something we've all agreed on. So long as you don't hit whoever you're throwing its fine."
Ruby's eyes went wide. "Wait, you can hit people when throwing them?"
Anya smirked, "You've never seen him go all out yet, have you?" Her smile turned sinister as the young girl shook her head. "Then you might see him put on a show today."
Blake eyed the monitor that displayed the countdown and their aura levels. A minute remained on the clock while Yang's aura had dropped to less than half and dropping fast. Denko's was still in the upper nineties as he continued his assault on her partner.
Yang was using every bit of agility that she had to dodge Denko's flying fists and feet, trusting her reflexes to help her block what she couldn't dodge. But his strikes came fast and she found that he rarely settled into any sort of pattern. Not to mention that sometimes he'd change how he struck, forcing her to adapt as fast as possible. One moment he's a whirlwind of kicks then he's slamming an open palm into her stomach. The latter strike actually made her glad for the natural padding she had to dissipate the force a fair bit.
Then the buzzer range, signaling the end of the round. Yang stumbled as the numerous hits finally caught up to her only for Denko to catch her by the arms and held her steady in a loose hug. "Thanks." Her face was flush from the exertion and sweating.
"Anytime." Denko smiles before looking up at the monitor, seeing that the girl in his arms still had just under thirty percent left. "Looks like you're pretty durable too." He laughs.
Yang couldn't hold back a laugh either when she saw how much she had left. "Guess I won that round, huh?"
"This time, next time I won't hold back since you'll know what to expect."
"You better not hold back on me again." She warns, though the grin spoiled her serious tone. "So how long until we go again?"
Denko looked at the display again, seeing that Itazura had included the countdown between rounds. "A little under a minute to catch your breath. Then you can take it out on me."
"I hope you'll be ready for me." Yang challenged.
The buzzer sounded once more, indicating the start of Yang's turn on the offensive. Somehow the blondes hadn't really noticed the time pass or the fact that they were still holding each other. Once realized, their eyes went wide and they laughed awkwardly as they separated, slowly getting ready for the spar.
Yang charged at the slightly taller boy who stood loose and ready, throwing a strong right hook to start. Denko smoothly swayed out of its path, followed by neatly twisting his way out of reach of the next few punches. Yang kicked out, catching the back of his knee and making him stumble but he used that to his advantage to dodge the punch that connected with the floor. His eyes went wide as he felt the ground shake beneath him, something that Yang noticed and responded with a feral smirk before moving at him once more.
"Wow, I knew she was strong but not that strong." Talon comments as she felt the shockwave reach her through the floor.
Ruby grins at that. "Oh, you haven't seen anything yet!" Weiss nods in agreement.
Yang and Denko were still in the midst of their dance of dodging and attacking. The attacks that she was able to land were often blocked or redirected. There wasn't too much time left yet, just under a minute now to go. As Yang threw another punch after he dodged a spinning backhand, he moved to throw the heavier fighter. To his surprise when he grabbed her wrist, her fist opened to grab his own in an iron grip. Then his shock grew when he saw her golden mane glow a brighter gold until it burst into flames and her eyes turned to a bright red, a confident smile spread across her lips as she yanked on his arm using her greater mass and raw strength to pull him in.
It was only when he saw the incoming right fist, did he remember her semblance, Burn, from his time at Signal. Back then it wasn't as developed but now she had full control over it apparently. 'Her semblance allows her to store all of the hits she's taken and release the power at twice its strength.' That was the last coherent thought that ran through his mind before the fist made contact. He didn't even have time to curse.
Denko woke up a few minutes later with his head on a warm pillow. Looking around he could see his friends standing around him. Through the gaps in their legs, he could see the floor of the arena looked as though a farmer had taken their plow through the floor then blew a crater into the wall where the plow stopped.
His head rolled as memories came back to him slowly, connecting the dots and realizing that he'd been the plow. Then a hand stroked his hair, he could feel some dust and debris fall from the blonde strands. Looking up, he found that his sight was partially obscured by a soft, round mass of skin that was partially covered by a brown vest, over that sat another pair of large bulges partially wrapped in the vest as well as a yellow shirt but even from below he could see the soft flesh squeezing up and over its constraints. Then there was the face of Yang, her round face surrounded by her mane of golden hair, illuminated from behind by one of the spotlights of the arena.
When she saw his eyes looking up at her, she smiled, even her small double-chin didn't stop his mind from locking up when their eyes met. That image seared itself into his mind.
Yang ran her hand through his hair once more, feeling more dust fall from it and over her hands before drifting to the floor. Since Denko had been knocked out by her punch and largely unexpected trip through the floor and into the wall, she'd been resting his head on her lap. Itazura had done a quick check on her brother after helping to move him from the crater to where he now lay, pronouncing him fine and to simply let him wake up on his own.
Still, that didn't make the brawler feel much better knowing that she'd hit her best friend so hard. She knew he could take a hit and give just as well, so why was this time so different? Was it because she had more weight to put behind her punch? The extra workouts in the gym? Some of the sparring that they'd done? Maybe a combination of all of that along with her semblance…
Yang couldn't hide the smile she made as he woke up. She watched as he seemed out of it, rolling his head to the side and looking at the destruction to the arena. Then he looked up at her, his face was still passive, it was such a change from his usual confident smirk or being deep in thought… she wished that she could see it more often. Then his expression changed to wonder as his blue eyes locked onto her own lilac. For whatever reason, time felt like it came to a stop.
"Glad to see you coming back to the world of the living!" Talon says as she kneels next to her leader and breaking him from his trance along with Yang. Her words instantly had the effect of drawing the attention of everyone else in the room to them.
Ruby suddenly burst into Denko's field of vision causing him to instinctively flinch and move away, though doing so smooshed his head into Yang's belly… the soft warmth he found was soothing to pounding headache that was making itself known.
"Denko! You've been out for a while!" Ruby certainly seemed worried about him. "I'm so glad you're okay. Does it hurt?"
Denko's mind was still hazy as he processed her words and his head rolled a bit as he lay there, not noticing that his hair was tickling his pillow. "Yeah." He answers slowly, though actually responding seemed to help speed up his mental recovery. "I got a headache and I feel a bit stiff."
"That sounds right." Anya stood nearby with her arms crossed, still keeping her distance but close enough to clearly see what was happening.
Weiss narrowed her eyes at the older girl. "You're taking this awfully casually."
"Hehe, reminds me of the first time I pissed off Professor Theodore by calling him Teddy back in my first year." Denko manages to laugh.
Itazura shakes her head at the memory. "Well… if he's got his odd sense of humor back already, he should be fine." The Faunus states as she starts walking to the other side of the arena. "C'mon, we can still get a few more rounds in before I call for maintenance."
Ruby looks at her friend and back to her sister and other friend. "But what about them?" She asks.
Itazura looks over her shoulder to see most of the groups following after her. "We'll just stay over on this side if we can help it. Those two can watch from there as they rest."
Weiss couldn't believe how dismissive the girl was about her own brother being hurt and marched her way over to the slightly shorter girl… if only because the fox didn't wear heels that added four inches to her height.
"What is wrong with you? He's your brother and your team leader, aren't you worried about him?" She yells at the Faunus after forcibly spinning the other girl around by the shoulders.
Itazura stared at the heiress, somewhat surprised that the normally reserved girl was being so loud and handsy. Not to mention the fact that she was a Schnee who actually seemed to care about others. Like many other faunus, Itazura Vulpes only had to look around at the treatment of others when it came to the practices of the SDC and their less than desirable treatment of their workers at the best of times while the owning family took the lions share of the spoils. She'd seen for herself the devastation left behind the family that only cared for the profits they could shove into their pockets.
While she'd known the heiress for weeks now, the girl rarely let her cold and proper attitude drop at all. Her schoolwork showed that she was at the top of her class in their studies, in sparing she ranked among the best in her year, and she was the model student that most of the teachers vouched for. Sure, she'd heard of the food fight between Teams RWBY and JNPR before the semester started but she wasn't really sure that any Schnee would voluntarily engage in something so… absurd as that.
But as icy blue eyes were locked onto green, the Faunus began to see that her concern was genuine. There was some uncertainty in her eyes that seemed to stem from how she's been handling the situation right now, yet determined to get an answer.
Itazura sighed as she broke eye contact, turned and kept walking, slower now and the heiress strode next to her. "Of course, I'm worried about him. He was all I had for a good chunk of my life. But that also means I've learned his limits. He's dazed but fine. Maybe a bit sore for the next day or two but he'll get over it." She says loud enough for Weiss to hear, the girls' eyes widening in shock. "Besides, back at Shade, they teach us to focus on ourselves before helping others."
"Do you really?" Weiss was hesitant to ask.
"Not really, we've learned to evaluate the conditions of others pretty quickly so we know who and what to prioritize on a mission." Was the simple explanation. Weiss stopped at that revelation, nearly causing Ruby to run into her.
"Something wrong?" The youngest in the school asks.
"No, nothing's wrong. I just have more questions." Weiss brushes off her friends' concern. And follows after the faunus again.
Yang looked down at the resting boy on her lap. "How are you really?" She asks once she was sure everyone was out of earshot and busy deciding who was going to spar next.
Denko shifted a bit. "Could be better." He grunts as a stab of pain raced through his right shoulder. "I feel like my arm was ripped from the socket and my head feels like a drum."
"Sorry… um… is there anything I can do to help?" Yang asks shyly.
Denko looked up at the girl whose face was partially blocked by the three large lumps on her torso at his current vantage point. He gave it a moment thought, "How about a better view?" He suggests.
Soon Yang was leaning against the wall of the arena watching Weiss try her luck in sparring Itazura under the same rules as when she and Denko had gone at it. Now, Denko was propped up on her stomach, the soft orb molding itself around his shoulders and upper back while her chest served as head support for him. She was the one who literally dragged him onto her like this so she had no room to complain aside from the occasional tuft of hair that tickled her face. Yet she found that she didn't mind at all.
Weiss, they saw, had very little hand-to-hand training. Instead, the girl relied on kicking with assistance from her glyphs. Itazura proved herself to be very nimble on both offense and defense, always finding holes in the heiress' attempts to block and use of her glyphs drained her aura fast. Sure enough, the faunus beat the snow themed girl down with nearly a minute left on the clock since she'd been on defense first.
Denko tried to sit up. Tried being the key word as her barely managed to get off of Yang before he fell back onto her pillowy front. One hand instantly went to his right shoulder while the other clutched his head as he winced in pain and hissed through his teeth.
Yang was fast to take hold of his shoulders, though taking notice that he was trying to be quiet, kept her voice low. "If it's that bad, I can take you over to the lounge in our dorm. We have some aspirin there and you can rest on the couch for a bit."
Denko silently nodded and allowed the girl to help him up, the pair managing to leave without anyone noticing as they were focused on the spar between Blake and Anya that had just begun. Yang pulled Denko's left arm over her shoulder for support, something he was glad for as he felt that he couldn't walk straight.
Ten minutes later the pair were in the students lounge for the first years of Beacon. The dorm was much closer that the building for the students from Vacuo. The room was empty aside from the blondes as they shuffled to the couch where they collapsed onto it together, the springs straining from the sudden weight. Yang sat for a minute next to her friend who looked glad to be sitting, even if he was holding his shoulder again.
As the girl left the couch, the boy couldn't help but watch as she walked over to a refrigerator. In the time that he'd been at Beacon, she'd definitely has grown wider and rounder but the soft curves seemed to suit her. She'd always tended towards the motherly side when dealing with Ruby when they were younger, even to her own father when he first began to know the man. Maybe it was partially due to how mother figures were usually represented in the books he read and movies he watched, more often than not they were on the heavier side and very loving and devoted to their families but they were also the last person you'd want to be around if you hurt their loved ones. He knew for a fact, even before he left for Shade Academy, that Yang was very devoted to her family and hurting them in any way was an excellent way to see the dentist for tooth replacement… or a doctor for broken bones.
But he also knew why she was so devoted to her family; it was something she had told him about one day when she was having a bad day years ago. And it was something that he completely understood since he was the same way with Itazura, it didn't matter that they didn't share blood or even the same species, she was his sister.
His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of ice hitting glass. Looking over to the small counter, he watched as Yang poured the contents of a pitcher into the cups. Whatever it was it was certainly colorful in the clear pitcher. She reached into a nearby drawer and began shuffling around a few things before a white lid opened from inside, from which she grabbed something and closing the lid and drawer. She carried the cups over to the couch and sat them on the coffee table in front of him before plopping down nest to him once more.
"Here ya go!" Yang handed Denko a small package with a pair of pills inside.
"Thanks." He tore his open and shook them into his hand when he noticed his friend doing the same.
Yang noticed him stop and look at her. "What? I'm feeling it too." She giggles before popping the pills into her mouth and drinking half of her cup soon after.
Denko eyed the cup in her hand. "What is that?" His curiosity had to be sated.
"Oh, this?" Yang asks as she lifts her glass and clinks the ice against the glass by swirling it. "Mostly water that we flavored with some cut up fruit that we tossed in. Never the same every time."
"Hehe, I guess that would keep things interesting." With that he took his own pills and found that the flavors of the fruits weren't overwhelming, actually subtle but played on the tongue. "Not bad."
"I thought you'd like it." Yang sat back and relaxed with a satisfied smile.
Denko leaned back slowly so he wouldn't agitate his shoulder any more than it already was. "Maybe you wouldn't mind what I have in here." He withdrew his flask from his vest.
Yang narrowed her eyes a bit at the sight, all too familiar with her Uncle Qrow's habit. Her eyes widened when the top was unscrewed and the flask held out for her. "What?"
Managing a cocky smirk, "Go ahead and try it. I make it myself."
Yang looked at the flask in his hand again, watching as he shook it a bit before pulling it back and taking a swig as if to prove that it wasn't poison. What got her was the lack of the scent of alcohol… something she was well accustomed to and not just from Qrow. He shook it again before pulling it back, she grabbed it before it moved far and took a sip of her own before shoving it back in his hand.
The contents were far from what she expected, the flavor was strong like when she forgot to dilute a can of concentrated juice once when she was younger. But it wasn't just strong, it was thicker than a normal drink but not as dense as a cough syrup or at least felt like it. And the flavors kept changing on her tongue as the liquid clung to it and coated her throat. What was that?"
"Tea."
"There's no way that was just tea."
"Hey, I brew it myself. My own special blend." He almost sounded offended.
"What do you make it with? I still feel the taste changing."
"Was it bad?" He smirks.
Yang had to stop for a moment. "Not really. I just wasn't prepared for it."
"Get's everyone on the first time." He laughs as the tension seemed to drain from his body. "Works pretty good if ya get sick too."
The brawler began to relax as she giggled at the thought. "Really?" She asks and receiving a nod in reply.
The two descended into a comfortable silence as they allowed the drugs to work through their systems, their playful interaction helping to sooth the pains they have.
"Did they really have to ditch us like that?" Talon complains as she follows team RWBY to their dorm building.
"Well… Denko was pretty banged up." Ruby says quietly. "Maybe they needed to go somewhere softer to lay down."
Anya thought back to when she last saw her leader. "If he wasn't laying on something soft enough before, I don't know what would satisfy him."
"He did make himself comfy using a rock as a pillow." Itazura recounted an earlier mission from when they were in Vacuo.
"True." Talon admits with a shrug.
"Okay, we'll practice a bit tomorrow." Talon heard a familiar voice as she followed Ruby through the door. Turning the corner, she found Denko and Yang in a lively discussion of combat techniques while still sitting together on the couch. Half filled cups and a pitcher of water filled with fruit sat on the table in front of them along with a flask she recognized.
"Isn't your shoulder gonna bother you?" Yang softly taps his right shoulder, both blondes oblivious that they had an audience.
"I should be fine in the morning. Been through worse." He dismisses.
"Really?" The young woman questions, clearly not willing to believe him or putting on a good act of doing so. "What did you go through that I don't know that was worse?"
"Cloudspire." Anya interjects, causing both blondes to jump though the girls of DAIT had seen him wince when Yang had asked the question.
"Cloudspire? Isn't that the city you helped to save?" Ruby asks. Anya and Talon looked to each other then to Denko who had his head down in his hands. Itazura slowly made her way over to her brother and laid a supporting hand on his shoulder.
Yang's eyes went wide as the implications hit her by the older team's reactions. "Oh… I'm sorry, I- "
"It's not your fault." Denko stops her before turning his head to look at her. "We haven't told anyone since we turned in our report. Ozpin knows what happened, he's the one who requested that we help. Theodore agreed. We went, we did our jobs, saw more than a few people die in front of us, got called heroes for surviving, and left to come here."
"W-was it that bad?" Ruby's voice was quiet.
"No, it was much worse." Anya answers as she crosses her arms and walks to a corner. Silence reigned supreme for a while as the others found seats nearby or pulled some over to be close.
"Glynda did say that it might be helpful to tell someone else." Itazura eventually says looking around the room, her ears and tail drooping as a good indication of how she was feeling about doing so.
"Or you've been reading those psych books again, haven't you?" Talon tries to inject some humor to the situation and only partially succeeding.
"It was both actually." The small faunus admits with a shrug as she sits on the armrest of the couch.
Denko let's out a deep sigh as he leans back and stares at the ceiling. "Maybe it would help to get it out." His team snaps their attention to him.
"Are you sure?" Anya sounded uncharacteristically concerned.
Talon glanced at a nearby clock on the wall. "I guess we have the time. Dinner will be open for a few more hours." The seven friends shook their heads at the chubby girls' concern for food. But it did help to alleviate much of the tension in the room.
"My story time senses are kicking in!" Nora yells as she bursts into the room and scarring everyone in it.
"Nora!" They heard the voice of Ren from down the hallway long before he appeared next to the very energetic girl. Jaune and Pyrrha following soon after with apologetic looks on their faces.
"Sorry about that." Jaune was taking responsibility for his teammate.
"It's okay Jaune." Ruby waves it off, she was mostly used to Nora's antics. "Find a seat."
The blonde was surprised at the sudden invitation but if the shorter redhead was, she didn't show it as she raced over to a couch and carried it over to where DAIT and RWBY sat. Then she herded her own team to the couch and sat expectantly.
"I guess a few more wouldn't hurt." Itazura says. "But yes, we were about to talk about our time at Cloudspire." Somber looks settled onto the faces of those gathered. "I guess I'll start to tell you what happened. About five months ago…"
AN: Yeah... things started off so innocent at the beginning. Kinda something that we should be used to by now when it comes to RWBY in general. Next chapter will be a doozy, plenty of action and emotions... maybe a bit gory. The next few chapters will be an emotional rollercoaster for many of us, something that has been planned and only some of it will involve canon events at Beacon. Though we've diverted from canon plenty already, haven't we?
Thanks to those who actually make it this far. I appreciate your open mindedness for this kind of fic. While I do know that there are at least a few dozen published stories that cross into this kind of stuff and I watch some of those authors, we are in the minority. Art for this will be coming soon enough but it will pretty much all be relegated to my uploads over at DeviantArt. Funny enough, that's where I've been getting most of my reviews. I will be doing some editing later to earlier chapters to make sure the scene changes are clear.
Until next time.
