The scene opens up with the five rangers standing holding their wrist up while their stones glowing.
Cuts to the five individually finding their stones changes to being brought to twilight town meeting Mortuu.
Cuts to Savant leading his army of machines

Dipper Pines the blue ranger
Louie Duck the green ranger
Luz Noceda the yellow ranger

Chp 10: Team Work Makes The Dream Work
Twilight City Base
It's been a few days since Savants attack and things have been rather calm lately, the team was getting along exceptionally well. Anne and Luz grew closer each day one might say that they'd sort of established a sisterly relationship, the boys too were buddy buddy Marco leading them and Dipper being the daring brains made Louie feel as though he was with his brothers again. Mortu had walked in the team while they were relaxing in the recreational room.
The boy's played a game of cards while the girl's were taking selfies. "It's good to see the lot of you getting along". Mortu spoke.
"Of course we get along Mort buddy we're Mar-Luz-ouie-Ann-Dipper". Anne spoke.
"What Anne is really trying to say is that we are insufferable and nothing can split us apart". Louie mentioned.
*Boom*
The group stumbled upon the sudden explosion.
"What the what"! Luz yelped
"What's going on"? Dipper asked.
"It sounded like it came from inside the base". Louie panicked.
"Oh no has Savant breached the hideout, oh no this is bad". Marco said, grabbing his hair.
"Ranger calm yourselves it was R-g's doing follow me and your suspicions will be answered". Mortu assured them while motioning them to follow him.
R-g's explosion had left a trail of smoke for them to follow; they eventually reached the laboratory where they saw an invention lying on a table with sparks emitting from it. The group then sees the robot getting up from the floor unharmed.
"Okay maybe crossing those wire's wasn't the best idea" the robot wheezed.
"Dude are you okay what's going on"? Dipper asked, running towards the companion.
"Ah rangers you're just in time see I was just in the middle of stabilizing a new invention". R-g answered. "I was putting the finishing touches on it when I crossed two wires together causing a massive explosion".
"New invention"? Louie asked.
"Look over on the screen". Mortu said, the group saw a special weapon displayed on the screen; it appeared to be a large black and gold bazooka with the head of a dragon along with four slots, two on each side and one slot at the top. "Wow is that for-".
"Yes Anne this is your D-Cannon". Mortuu answered. "With this you'll be able to finish off anyone of Savant's monsters, all it needs for power is all of you to transfer your D-stones energy in it.
"Dipper out of the bunch was the most impressed". "Wow what the heck-ahedron".
"I'm having trouble stabilizing though". R-g spoke.
"Hey man don't worry I know a little about machines I can help you out". Dipper offered.
"Really, thanks pal I really appreciate it". "No problem".
"Sweet with this bad boy in our arsenal we'll be blowing Savant and all his freaks away". Luz said with a toothy grin.
"Luz i'm living the enthusiasm but the most important arsenal we have is teamwork". Marco told her.
"Marco is right, teamwork makes the dream work" Mortu added.
Savants ship
Derp is walking through the ship's hallway with a nervous look on his face, he makes it to Savants room.
"Captain sir you wanted to see me"?
"I've heard that you've created a monster that can not only destroy but turn the rangers against one another". *cough cough*
"Why yes not only can she turn them against each other but they can't even lay so much as a finger on him".
"Let me see this monster then". Savant ordered.
"At once captain, hey get in here". Derp said.
The door slid open and in walked a tall medium sized creature covered in black spikes all over, her eyes glowed yellow and had nail's just as long as her spikes.
"Behold I give you Porcuspine". The doctor said.
"In the flesh captain". she Spoke .
"What makes her so special". Savant asked.
"Obviously her spike's provide her with excellent defense; she can also fire them off like missles".
Porcuspine demonstrated firing off her spikes at some of x-heads impaling them and destroying them.
"I see very well Porcuspine find the rangers and handle them". Savant ordered.
"Yes captain". The porcupine monster took her leave as she did; she accidentally sneezed and a few of her quills shot from her body and began to bounce around the room, Derp dropped down and crouched under a nearby table while Lazurus defended his captain with his sword. Seymour walked in with a bowl of soup, "Captain hope your- woh" the one eyed monster yelped dropping the soup and avoiding the flying spikes till they got stuck in a wall.
"Oops sorry" Porcupine apologized.
"JUST GO ALREADY"! Savant barked angrily. Scaring her into running.
"Well on the bright side she covered her mouth and did not spread germs". Derp said.
Base
Dipper and R-g were currently putting the final touches on the cannon, after endless hours of configuring a couple of wires they were finished.
"We did it, it's finally done". R-g said with excitement.
"Oh man dude I don't know about you but i'm ready to give this puppy a test drive". Dipper said excitedly.
Beep Beep
The alarm went off Savant had launched an attack, "Well looks like you'll get that chance Dipping sauce".
Marco and the rest of the rangers came rushing into the lab, "We got trouble let's go". Marco said.
"When you guys need the cannon i'll send it right over".
"Thanks R-g". Dipper said. The five heard out and went into the city.
City
Porcuspine was pacing back and forth growing impatient; she already wreaked havoc a bit to get the rangers attention but they were a no show. "Where are they don't tell me there's a show now".
"Hey". Porcupine turns to the direction of the voice and see's the rangers.
"Oh rangers, you're just in time for me to destroy you"! She said.
"That's what you think freak". Dipper said!
"A porcupine". Anne called out.
"That's right and I've got plenty of spikes with your names on it, quil barrage"! Porcupine unleashes a flurry of her needles onto the rangers which they dodge.
One nearly hit Louie who hid behind a large crate he let out a yelp as soon as it made contact with it. "Hmm looks like she's making her point". Louie punned.
"Come on guy's we got this". Marco said.
"Oh really then just try me". Porcupine unsheathed some blades from her arms and charged at the rangers.
Marco engaged her with his axe which she had no problem avoiding before slashing the red ranger in the back and kicking him sending him flying on top of Anne.
"Quill barrage". More needles fired everywhere Luz spun her staff to deflect them all from hitting her and her team, but there were too many firing off and few of them nailed Luz right in her leg. The yellow ranger dropped to the ground grabbing her leg and crying in pain.
"Luz'', Dipper called out "Lou help" he instructed, The blue ranger charged in with his smack hands and tried to hit the porcupine monster. Porcuspine leaped up high, fired off spikes into the wall and scaled the building.
Dipper used his teleportation to cut her off once he got above her; he dived down about to nail her with a punch, but she simply swung on her spike dodging him and kicked him down to the ground not without firing off a spike at him hitting his arm. He came crashing down hard with a spike logged in his arm.
"Pathetic let's finish this". Porcupine began to spin around like top rapidly and attack each ranger with her spin strike. Anne and Louie tried to intercept her but she was too fast for her.
The rangers took so much damage they DE morphed and laid there on the ground in pain, "Oh man I got all five of you this makes everything the more simple, have fun fighting amongst one another". Porcupine spun around and left the area.
Base
After the fight R-g brought them back to the base and was tending to the ranger's, he individually had to remove spikes from their bodies. Louie was the last to go but he was being the most difficult.
"Ow". Louie yelped
"Louie please hold still if you keep that up i'll never get the spikes out". R-g told him.
"I can't help it man it hurts" The duck boy replied.
The robot held the duck boy down and removed the last spike. "Okay that's all I think". R-g told them.
"Man that was crazy she was too fast and there was no way for us to land a hit on her". Anne stated.
"She really got her point across in that fight". Luz said.
"Please no more puns". Louie said.
"Rangers you lost badly today and you're pretty banged especially you Dipper maybe you should all rest up then try again tomorrow". Mortu advised.
"Mortu is right guys, let's take the rest of the day off and rest". Marco told his team.
Later that night while the rangers slept they couldn't feel the glowing sensation in their bodies making them toss and turn a bit.
Savants Ship
"Porcuspine you had the rangers right where you wanted them why didn't you finish them off"?! Savant asked angrily. *cough cough*.
"Not to worry Captain sir why waste my time doing it when the rangers will destroy themselves".
"What do you mean"? Lazarus asked.
"My spikes are not just for show or pain you'll see this soon enough amongst the rangers, but my next target are the people of twilight".
Savant sipped his medicine, "Vey well go and continue your mission and conquer the city". The pirate captain ordered.
"Yes sir".
"She hasn't said much but I can tell she really means well I like this one". Oma said.
"And unlike you she doesn't run from a battle without making a plan". Derp sassed.
"Watch yourself Derp your it'll be you with a spike in your body". Oma then walked off.
Base
Next morning Mortu went to check on the status of the rangers. From yesterday they took a hard l and a hard beating. He peeped around the corner and saw them inside the recreation area together although it wasn't quite peaceful.
Louie was loafing around playing a game on his phone while Dipper and Marco were sparring, the duck boy was getting annoyed by their antics. "Hey guys do you mind i'm going here". Louie said.
The girls walked inside the room and were bickering with each other.
"What's the big idea with you blasting your music early while i'm trying to sleep". Luz said.
"Well what about your smelly socks that I can smell from my room, i bet they're as green as Louie's uniform". The girls start to banter back and forth with one another.
Dipper leaped onto Marco's back but the red ranger flipped him over his shoulder causing them to knock Louie's salt soda he was drinking out of his hand.
"Seriously guy's knock it off you made me waste my drink".
"Oh please I've seen the way you drink soda's man you only have one sip and throw it away". Dipper said.
"And drinks aren't allowed in here any way". Marco added. Now the boy's begin bantering with one another. Pretty soon all five are arguing amongst themselves.
Finally hearing enough the mentor put's his foot down, gaining the attention of the rangers. "What is going on here"?
Each ranger began talking at the same time making it hard for Mortu to understand them all at once.
*Beep Beep*
The alarm to the city went off "Rangers Porcuspine is back, you have to stop him". R-g said coming in.
The five stopped their bickering and left not without bumping each other along the way.
"What is wrong with them"? Mortu asked.
In the city of twilight Porcuspine was wreaking havoc causing explosins with her spikes. Then the rangers arrived on the scene.
Porcupine noticed them, "Ah rangers back for more what took you so long"?
"That's right, bring on the ranger fury". Marco said.
Dipper slaps Marco's arm.
"Dude I had a line all worked out, prepare to be fived evil doer".
"Really fived"? Louie asked. "That just sounds like were going to high five him"
"And what's up with the whole evil doer? We don't talk like generic characters from a story book". Luz added.
"Oh like your one to talk ms. good witch Azura"! Anne told the yellow ranger referencing how Luz would speak when reading her favorite story Good Witch Azura.
"Wow you guy's look like you're dealing with your own personal issues right now, so I brought some friends to help out, X-heads get them". She ordered.
Robotic soldiers appeared and engaged the rangers in combat; the five kids fought their respected group of machines, but this battle did not stop them from bickering. Luz had launched a flame spell on one machine destroying it but also nearly hitting Louie, "Hey you tryna to turn me into a roast duck". The green ranger called out in a yelp.
"Next time move instead of just loafing around although that may be hard for you". Luz shot back.
Dipper came down smashing two an x-head beside Luz, "Just like it's hard for you to resist the urge to flip your eyelids like a weirdo". The blue ranger said.
"You really wanna talk about weird blue how about singing pop sensation songs half naked in a bathroom almost every morning". Anne said.
"Hey I'm not the one trying to sound like a cheesy Saturday morning cartoon hero trying to sound cool". Dipper said pointing at Marco.
"Ok you know what". The red ranger started turning to argue with the team as they feuded amongst themsleves. Just completely forgetting about the battle they were in the middle of.
Porcuspine and the x-heads watched astonished, "Oh my this is even better than I thought" she said.
From the base R-g and Mortu couldn't believe what they were seeing. "What in blazes is happening"? Mortu asked.
"Ranger cut it out you have a battle to win" R-g told them over the communicator, "Now i'm sending you guys theD-Cannon".
"Huh whatever". Marco said.
The cannon materialized from the air and the four caught it in their hands. "Hey Marco what are you doing". Louie asked.
"I got this. I don't need help". Marco said running towards Porcuspine he swung his axe at her but she blocked it with her arms then countered with a kick striking the red ranger in the chest. He reeled back a little but he kept on fighting avoiding any more of her spike slashes.
"It's almost charged". Anne said.
"Why the heck does my side feel so heavy, Dipper are you even lifting"? Luz asked.
"Don't blame me, blame Louie he's faking it". Dipper called back.
"Am not". Said Louie.
"No wonder why my end is so heavy lift up your side Louie" Luz ordered.
Porcupine happened to notice the bickering from the other rangers, "Oh what's this seems fun i'll call in some friends of mine to play".
Suddenly a bunch of citizens showed up out of nowhere all in a hypnotic state with purple glowing eyes. They all shielded Porcuspine from Marco and the other rangers.
"What the! Hey what gives"? Marco said.
"As you can see I have gotten all these people under my control and they will do anything I tell them, and I mean anything. Minions get the rangers".
The now possessed humans ran in and attacked the rangers.
"Oh man this is bad" Marco said, dodging hits from the citizens.
Luz put up her power shield to protect her and her team, "What do we do"? Luz asked.
"Well obviously we can't attack a bunch of citizens". Dipper said.
"No duh I knew that I meant how are we gonna stop them". The yellow ranger shot back.
"Hey Mr. Angle, you're the sharp one, how do we get out of here"?
"Why am I the one who has to get us out? Marco's the leader make him think of something". Louie shot back at Dipper.
Suddenly the lack of concentration from Luz getting irritated by her team made her drop the shield making the citizens run in and attack them.
"This is getting out of hand, let's bail". Dipper said taking out a light glyph and presing it temporarily blinding the enemy and disappearing.
"That's right rangers runaway it makes my plan's all the more smoother" Porcupine spoke.
Savants ship
"This is magnificent *cough cough*, Now that Porcuspine has controlled the said amount of citizens it's only a matter of time before twilight city is mine". Savant spoke out.
"That's my monster the rangers are too busy fighting each other that they won't be able to focus their efforts on her".
Base
The five were back to bickering with one another throwing insults back and forth about their last battle. Mortu finally rolled into the room with a look of disappointment.
"WHAT HAPPENED OUT THERE"!? he shouted.
"Well boss as you can see the enemy got away because someone-". "That is not what I meant Dipper I mean why were you fighting amongst each other"?
"They were holding me back from fighting," Marco replied.
"You didn't want to be a team member and help us with the cannon". Louie said.
"Oh please you barely had your hand on the cannon". Luz told the duck boy.
The five got right back to bickering even as going far as to getting physical.
"ENOUGH"! Savant shouted.
"This bickering of yours is riduculous not only can you work as one but your enemy got away and he's out there taking control of the citizens''. The rangers start to look down in shame".
"Have the five of you forgotten why you are here, why you were chosen, your last hope to stop an evil force and without you all will be lost".
With that Mortu took his leave leaving the five to feel rueful.
"Oh man guy's he's right what are we doing"? Louie asked.
"Man this is probably what Savant wants us to do". Anne said.
"I just wish I knew what's making us like this". Dipper said.
Suddenly R-g came into the room. "Rangers I may have the answers". The robot brought up a virtual computer from his eye which displayed a few of the spikes from porcuspine.
"Turns out porcuspines needles have this weird ability to corrupt anyone that it has stricken, that's why the five of you have been arguing".
"And why those citizens were under her control". Luz added.
"But you removed them from us when we first fought". Dipper pointed out.
"Yes but it turns out the effect's of her spike can still linger in the target's body until she's destroyed". R-g explained.
"We got to take her down to save those people and ourselves". Anne stated.
"That is if we can pull it together and not argue". Louie said.
"Hey I believe in you guys and I know your hearts are in this to win, remember what you're after why you fight".
The robot's words of encouragement were enough to lift their spirits up.
"Your right nothing's gonna keep us from saving our worlds and stopping Savant". Marco spoke with conviction.
"Just one problem is how do we get past her army of citizens, I mean we can't hurt them while they defend her.
"I've got that covered ranger's cannon wasn't the only thing I was working on". The robot virtually displayed a new device, "This is a wave frequency device capable of emitting a pulse to place anyone who hears it to sleep, quick and painless your ranger helmets will protect you from the sound".
"Nice R-g you are the man". Dipper said, paying the robot a compliment.
*Beep beep beep*
"She's back". Marco said.
"But this time we were ready". Dipper said.
"It's her we'll be fighting and not each other". Anne added,
"Right okay then It's morphing time"!
"Disney Ranger power huh". The five said in unison and morphed instantly.
Porcupine sat in a makeshift throne in the town center with her controlled minions fanning her off and drinking a glass of lemonade.
"Now this is the life of no rangers, all citizens are under my control, it doesn't get any better than this".
"Ice spell" Shards of iced were shot at Porcuspine knocking her drink out of her hand.
"Did you want ice with your drink"? Luz sarcastically asked.
"Your back shouldn't you all be at each other's throats"?
"Your little trick won't work on us anymore prickly princess"! Anne said.
"The five of us have something we're fighting for and we can't afford to lose". Dipper boldly stated.
"Well no matter you still have to deal with my minions". Porcupine snapped her fingers and the possessed townsfolk moved in on the costumed heroes.
"I Don't think so Louie Dipper let it rip". Marco ordered.
The green and blue ranger tossed the devices to the side attaching themselves to a wall and emitted a wave frequency, one by one each town's person fell into a slumber falling onto a large and massive plant vine produced by Luz using her glyphs.
"What oh no my minions". Porcupine let out in worry.
"Now you're outnumbered". Louie called.
"But not outmatched" Porcupine took a fighting stance and charged.
"You guys get the cannon ready, I'll hold her off," Marco ordered, who also charged towards her.
"Summon D-cannon. The four rangers held the massive weapon on their respective sides with their stones charging it up with power. Marco was holding off Porcuspine moving her back before she slipped and he kicked her into a wall making her get stuck in place.
"Oh no no no". The porcupine monster yelped struggling to get free.
"Marco it's charged we need you come on". Louie said.
The red ranger jumped over and stood at the center at the end of the cannon adding his power to it.
"D-cannon fire". A spiral of red, blue, green, pink and yellow shot out from the cannon and engulfed porcuspine.
"Nooo". She yelped as she blew up.
"All right we did it". Anne boasted.
"Team work makes the dream work". Louie harmonized.
Savants Ship
"So the rangers have a new toy now…? Derp rumbles. "No matter firing metro ray the cannon charged up and shot towards twilight".
Back with the rangers
The laser hits the spot where Porcuspine was destroyed, bringing her to life much larger now. "Your efforts to get rid of me was pointless".
"Ok guys it's that time". Marco said.
"Summon Zords"! The five zords materialized and each ranger hopped into the cockpit of their respected mechanical animal. "Activate D-Megazord".
The five zords connected forming the massive robotic fighting machine. "D-Megazord online".
The megazord storms toward Porcuspine and throws a punch at her but instead of her taking damage it was the megazord.
"Darn it, it's those spikes we can't punch through without taking damage"! Dipper spoke.
"We need a good attack that can break through them but what"? Luz asked.
"Take this". Porcupine attacked and the mega zord had a shower of spikes fired onto them.
"She is doing a real great job of getting her point across". Marco said.
"Really now you're going to do this". Louie criticized.
"You got something against puns or something greeney" Marco retaliated.
*Beep beep* went the megazords communicators it was R-g calling. "Rangers come on don't let Porcuspine fuel your petty squabbles stay focused".
"He's right sorry man". The duck boy apologized. "All good Lou".
The megazord got hit by another shower of spikes.
"Guy's we can't keep taking damage like this"! Dipper exclaimed.
"Rangers I forgot to mention one thing the D-Cannon can actually be equipped as a blaster for the megazord giving you guy's the fire power you need to get the job done".
"Right on, okay let's turn on the fire power".
"D-cannon deploy".
The cannon materialized in the air and grew in size big enough for the megazord to hold in one hand.
"That toy of yours wont get me again". Porcupine shot another shower of spikes at the megazord but this time the rangers were ready.
"D-cannon equipped multi shot activated".
The megazord fires a multitude of of shots taking out each and everyone of Porcuspine's spikes.
"Now let's finish her off". Anne spoke.
"D-cannon final strike". The cannon gathered up a massive amount of energy before shooting out of the barrel and engulfed Porcuspine in the attack this time destroying her completely.
On the ground level the townspeople began waking up rubbing their heads and yawning as a purple aura exited their bodies. They were free from Porcuspines control. The rangers felt the same sensation of aura leaving their bodies as well. "We did it all right". Louie said.
Savants Ship
Savant was not happy he sat in his chair tightly gripping the cup he had his medicine in,
Derp was sweating bullets "c-c-captain I-". Before Derp could finish Savant threw his cup at him angrily which the doctor ducked under.
"Get me another creature right now you ditzy doctor before I stick a spike up your-" *cough cough*. Savant almost fell out of his chair before Lazarus caught him.
"Oma no more field watching I want you there assisting in the fight". Savant spoke.
"Aye aye captain". Oma spoke with a smirk on her face.
Base
The rangers were back to getting along with one another Luz and Anne were wearing otter outfit's their own ranger color, the boys loafed around on the floor drinking salt sodas watching tv. Mortu walked inside the room gaining the rangers attention.
"It's good to see the lot of you getting along again. I'm very proud of each of you, Mortu came close to split you all up but you all pulled through".
"What can we say we had a great mentor that gave us a great pep talk". Louie said.
"Yeah if it weren't for you we would have never come to our senses". Anne added.
"We know what's at stake and why we fight and nothing is gonna split us apart". Said Dipper.
"Well said Dipper and now for all of your efforts let's all go out for ice cream my treat". Mortu spoke excitedly to the rangers.
"Oh yeah" said Luz.
"Bring on the cream when I scream" boasted Anne.
And I'm done sorry it took a while major writers blocks want to thank my followers for sticking with my story. I know it's not perfect and this chapter was pretty weak but I'm doing my best, if you guys have any ideas please don't be shy also check out my other stories until then peace.
