Chp 14: Unfortunate Blue

The three rangers; Dipper Luz and Louie decided to pay a visit to Twilight cities museum; they had nothing else to do plus Dipper thought it would be a fun idea and Louie really wanted to see the historic treasures they had. The museum displayed almost everything any other museum would, from fossils with unique fictional creatures which Luz went crazy over, then there was a jewelry exhibit which Louie couldn't resist. Apparently a security guard had to keep his eye on him because the duck boy gave off a sly looter vibe.

"Wow, their Egyptian exhibit is down this way, come on". Dipper said.

"Last time I was affiliated with anything Egyptian I was nearly killed by a mummy. I think I'll go find a vending machine. I'm thirsty and hope this place has pep"! Louie said.

"Really you'd pass this up, specially with looking at those priceless jewels on display"? Luz asked.

"Nah I'm good, besides Larry Daley back there has had his eye on me since he caught me gaping at the other jewel exhibits". Louie then walks off from his friends but not without being followed. "I'M GOING TO THE VENDING MACHINE STOP FOLLOWING ME ALREADY"!

Luz and Dipper giggle and head inside, the Egyptian exhibit was amazing. Ancient artifacts everywhere while Luz was admiring the weapons and the blue ranger had his eyes on a large sarcophagus, it was gold crusted with hieroglyphs all over it. The face on it was that of a falcon. "Wow Luz check it out if I die I would love to be buried in this bad boy". "You and I are both dudes, and I would love to have my organs donated to science,'' Luz added. Dipper admired the structure and the girth of the sarcophagus before he noticed an interesting hieroglyph on the side, making him take out a pen and paper.

"Hey Dipp's what are you doing"?

"These glyphs look amazing, I wonder what they say". The blue ranger was interrupted when the same guard from before placed a hand on his shoulder. Dipper looks behind him and sees that Louie is hoisted over the man's shoulder.

"Sorry kids but you're gonna have to leave. I caught this one tampering with the vending machine"!

"The machine wouldn't give me my soda or my coin"! Louie protested.

"That's not what I saw all of you out now"!.

"But"! Dipper tried to say but he along with Luz were put out of the museum.

Luz and Dipper stared daggers at the duck boy. "Oh come on I'm telling you I was just trying to get my money back". Louie said defensively.

"Oh man sorry you didn't get what you wanted dude". Luz apologized.

"No matter". Dipper placed the paper on the ground and began to jot down the exact glyphs from before. "And voila''.

Luz was impressed "wow dude you memorized the whole thing dang".

"Photographic memory is just one of my sig abilities I keep under my belt". Dipper said, sounding proud.

"So now you're gonna try and translate them"? Louie came up asking.

"Yeah I've never seen anything like this".

"Ok but just be careful of… the curse"!

"Okay some ones paranoid". Luz called out.

"Hey I've been to Egypt before traps, quicksand and a dangerous pharaoh who wants you dead, I'm just saying this isn't something you want to play with man".

"Look Louie from someone who came from the world of magic and curses I get it but I doubt it's something you can get from just a museum artifact, besides everyone knows that stuff isn't real".

"Okay well regardless I'm an investigator I'm curious about the world and all its many mysteries' '. The blue ranger said before walking off heading toward the base. Luz and Louie look at each other before the Pines boy shrugs his shoulder and they follow him.

Base

As soon as the three made it home Dipper was in the base studies, he grabbed every book there was about ancient egypt and read through them all trying to decipher the text. From behind the other rangers watched him do his work.

"Man he's been in here for hours". Anne spoke.

"This right here is true commitment". Marco said admiring his fellow teammates' determination.

"I say it's a bad idea if anything Egyptian related has a curse written all over it". Louie said, sounding unsure.

"Right so the duck boy who fights with two khopesh which by the way originate from Egypt has a problem. Luz sassed. Louie just kept his beak shut and began to drink his salt soda he had on him.

Anne walks over to Dipper, "Yo Dipp's". The ranger didn't respond. "Dipper". Anne pulls out a paper bag and blows it up with air before popping, making the blue ranger jump in surprise.

"Oh hey guys you say something"?

"Dude it's getting late and you haven't left this room not once". Marco said.

"Yeah are you any closer to deciphering it"? Luz asked.

"No, not yet. I've read every book on it but there's nothing". Dipper throws the books and documents to the floor. He then sees something very peculiar: the notes he took fell in a pattern where it said something. The Pines boy gets on his knees to inspect them. "Hey i got something right here".!

"What's it say"? Marco asked.

"Nope nah-ah Louie out". The green ranger said walking out.

"It says those who disturb my tomb will forever face unlucky doom, So says the pharaoh Edfu you my victim are now in big doo-doo".

Louie, who overheard the translation, broke down in laughter. "Oh no Dipper, make sure you bring an umbrella with you or a birds gonna drop a big wet stinker on ya". Louie jokes.

Dipper rolls his eyes. "Okay very funny guys man who ever this Edfu was he must've been a real prankster, any way *yawn* I'm tired. I'm going to bed.

Later that night Dipper was sound asleep but was unaware of what was soon coming.

Next morning the rangers were in the dining area all was well but Marco was feeling paranoid he checked the fridge and the cabinets making sure they were all intact.

"Um what are you doing"? Anne asked.

"Ok something bad is gonna happen today".

"How do you figure that"? Louie asked.

" Because every morning after I shower I kick off my underwear, if I catch it it's a great day. If not, it's a bad day. It's an old family ritual my grandpa did till the day he died. Why do you think we've been so fortunate in these battles".

"So you believe that insane routine is what's been carrying us through these hard times"!? Luz asked.

Marco nods his head before they see Dipper walk in, "Top of the morning fellow rangers".

"So Dipp's woke up under a bird's nest today swimming in a stew of fecal matter"? Louie asked jokingly.

"No I woke up perfectly fine in my bed thank you, besides the whole curse was just bologna". The Pines boy poured himself some orange juice but didn't notice the spill. "So I'm living a curse free WOAH". Dipper suddenly slips and falls on the floor with his orange juice splattering on his hair and the cup hitting his head.

"Dude you okay"? Luz asked in worry.

"Oh Blort the curse is real, the curse is real"! Louie said, panicking.

"Louie language". Marco scolded.

"Not to worry folks I have experiences with curses sure I ended being turned into a bird person but it still counts". Anne added.

"Guys relax, all I did was slip and fall, just a common kitchen accident. I'm fine". Dipper gets back up but then hits his head on an opened cabinet door he winches in pain grabbing his head, "It's nothing one of you just left the cabinet opened I'm fine, I'll just come back later I'm gonna go for a walk".

"Dipper wait". Luz called out but he was gone.

"See what I tell you all that is the start to a very bad day". Marco called out.

"Marco enough guys look, maybe it isn't as bad as you think. I'm sure he'll be fine.

Dipper decided to clear his mind by taking a stroll through the park. "Ok so this morning was rough but that doesn't mean I have bad luck besides everyone spills juice on the floor right". Suddenly from behind the Pines boy is hit by a soccer ball forcing him to accidentally step in dog manure. "Ahh man gross"! Dipper started to slide his feet on some grass to get the manure off his shoes. "Okay well that has nothing to do with it folks just need to clean up after their dogs is all"! He then walks over to a park bench then see's a nearby pigeon land by the bench. "Hey there little fella you're not bad luck are you"? The pigeon then pitches itself onto Dipper's shoulder. "I knew that this whole thing was a hoax". The pigeon leaves the blue ranger's shoulder but not without leaving him a little present, a gooey white smelly present. He looks to his shoulder and gets a vulgar look on his face, "Seriously thanks". Dipper grabs a nearby rock and throws it at the bird but misses and bounced off several objects before nailing Dipper in the eye, he reels in pain with his hand covering his eye. "Ok starting to think this isn't a hoax after all".

Dipper continues walking, still covering his eye when suddenly a tree falls onto him. "What a tree come on". He climbs through the leaves before getting back to his feet and removing twigs from his hair. Unexpectedly a bowling ball comes from nowhere and lands right on his foot. "Ow WHERE'D THE BOWLING BALL COME FROM". He then looks up to see a street lamp falling down towards him but he quickly gets out of the way. Feeling that it's not safe outside, Dipper begins to make a run for it before something else crazy happens, and indeed he runs into an array of crazy obstacles. An ice cream cart comes rolling down the hill and hits him taking the blue ranger on a ride, an oncoming biker is heading in the same direction both the cart and him collide. The biker flies off and Dipper ends up on the bike backwards spiraling out of control riding into the pond. "Ok ok well things couldn't get any worse could they"? He spoke as soon as a bee's nest landed right in his hand and a colony of bees began to swarm his body. Dipper did his best to shoo them away but couldn't, because he was distracted by the bee's Dipper hadn't noticed he stepped on an animals tail, and it wasn't a dog it was black white with a long bushy tail. Dipper was able to peek at what it was and gulped, it was a skunk. "No, no no no no no". The skunk unleashed a ten fold of stink onto the blue ranger forcing all the bees to flee and Dipper to fall over in misery and disgust. "Ok, I'm totally cursed".

Savants Ship

"Ooh well this is juicy indeed it seems that the blue ranger isn't having much luck on his side today". Seymour said looking through his watchful eye.

"Really looks like the perfect opportunity to eliminate him". Derp said in a sinister and conniving manner.

Dipper now made his way into a construction site but getting there wasn't easy he was nearly hit by a car. "Ok can't get any worse than this can it ''. A portal opened up and x-heads arrived ready for battle. "Me and my big mouth".

Back at the base R-g got the alert and went to notify the rangers. "Guys danger danger danger, Dipper is at the park and he's in trouble.

"It's time to go". Marco said. He ran off followed by the team.

Dipper now morphed, fought off the machines best he could but didn't have much luck(Sorry couldn't help it). Because of his bad luck he got tossed around like a doll and tripped each time he leapt at his enemies. He summoned his smack hands ready to bash some heads in; he swung at one but accidentally stepped on a skateboard and slid all the way into a nearby dumpster. "Oh I Hate this, it's all a bunch of rubbish". One X-head aimed a blaster at the blue ranger ready to fire but was blasted itself.

"Dipper you alright". Anne called out holding her D-blaster.

Marco and Louie helped their teammate out of the dumpster but were nauseated by the smell. "Oh dude what was in that dumpster"? Marco asked. "Not just the dumpster I stepped in manure and got sprayed by a skunk". "Oh geez that's for sure I can smell the stink through the helmet". An x-head came in and swiped it's sword at the boys making them scatter, Marco fought off the x-head while Louie was with Dipper. "Dipps take a breather we got this". The blue ranger saw his team face off against the machines when unbeknownst to him a crane holding cemented pipes came loose and plummeted towards his team. "Guys no"! Soon the ranger and the x-heads found themselves crushed. "Oh no. no no no no". Dipper unmorphed and ran to dig out his team. "Come on come on". Suddenly the pipes were blown off by large massive vines and Dipper saw his team unharmed. "Guys you're all okay".

"But you don't". Anne said.

"Tell me about it, this curse is no joke, you almost died from those pipes"!

"I say we split up Louie and Luz head back to the museum, maybe there's something there that can give us a clue to counter it, the rest of us let's ring Mortu up on this". Marco ordered.

"Oh uh that's gonna be a no go I was kicked out earlier and now I'm sure I'm banned". Louie

protested.

"Wear a disguise, do whatever takes this for Dipper's sake". Anne said.

With that the rangers split up

Luz and Louie arrived at the museum for their investigation nothing seemed off but for the banned poster of Louie hanging, Louie grabbed it from a pole and inspected the poster. "Great, this is going to be a problem". Luz said. "I know whoever made this made my bill too big. I look like a pelican for crying out loud". The green ranger crumples the poster up before throwing it. "Worry about your image later, how are the two of us getting in"? Louie pondered to himself till a lightbulb went off in his head. Luz made her way towards the exit wearing a disguise, she wore a 1940's style housewife dress with an apron along with shades and a scarf over her head. She was pushing a baby stroller with a flap over. The yellow ranger approached the entrance where the guard stood , the guard tipped his hat to her and then looked down at her stroller , "Aw what a cute little baby, please miss allow me". He complimented and opened the door for her which she appreciated. "Gracias". One inside Luz removed the flap revealing Louie wearing a green onesie, "Cant believe that worked"! Luz said. "I cant believe the store I got it from had a onesie in my size". "Ok now let's get cracking. Luz said as they made their way towards the exhibit.

Base

R-g was currently working on something in his lab. The entrance was blocked off letting the team know that it was a surprise. Meanwhile, Marco and Anne explained the events that happened to Dipper who was currently bathing in tomato juice to get rid of the skunk smell. "I see this is most disturbing".

"Hey what the heck is R-g working on"? Anne asked.

"I'm not sure he won't tell me I even left my drink there, he's too busy to get it and he won't let me grab it, in the meantime I think Dipper should lay low here to avoid getting hurt". "Ouch". Anne Marco and Mortu heard Dipper from his room and raced to him. They entered his bathroom and saw their ally sitting in the tub filled with tomato juice with his toe stuck up the bath faucet. "Don't ask"! The pines boy said. "I'll go get the butter". Mortu said.

Luz and Louie make their way inside of the exhibit and reach the sarcophagus, well Luz reached it Louie was too nervous to go anywhere near it due to his fear of mummies so he decided to keep watch. Luz began to inspect the bin looking for anything that could stop the curse. "Hey find anything yet", the duck boy called out. "No, wait hold up". Luz finds another set of hieroglyphs on the other side of the sarcophagus and begins jotting down the symbols. Suddenly the lid to the bin shot off and what rose from the grave was a sphinx monster with wings dressed in Egyptian attire. "Human you dare defile the tomb of the great Ebfu". "What no, i'm just here for a school assignment" The yellow ranger protested.

Ebfu summoned a javelin and swung at Luz which she nearly dodged, the witch apprentice tried to get away but Ebfu stuck his javelin into her wizard's cloak restarting her. "Feel the wrath of the great sphinx Ebfu. The sphinx monster beard his claws ready to attack her but before he could Louie used the power of his stone to time freeze him and deliver a kick to him allowing Luz remove her cloak and roll over to her teammate. "And you shall feel the wrath of the yellow and green ranger". "Disney Ranger Power huh"! The two drew their weapons and Ebfu pulled out his javelina and a battle ensued. Luz and Ebfu went blow for blow at each other but the pharaoh got the upper hand and slashed her. "Oh no Luz". Ebfu slammed his javelin down behind Louie sending shocks of panic through the green ranger's body. "Oh boy"!

Base

Dipper now sitting in a kitty pool filled with tomato juice Marco and Anne were scrubbing him with a sponge; after the blue ranger got his toe stuck they wanted to avoid any more accidents. Anne wasn't too fond because of the pungent smell mixed with the tomato and skunk smell. The rangers' morpher's began to beep, "Guys Louie and I are at the museum, we need help". Louie is running from Ebfu screaming in fear. "We'll be on our way". Anne said. "Hold up I'm coming to". Dipper said.

"No it's best you stay behind for your own safety we got this"! Marco told him

"Ready, Disney ranger power huh". Anne and Marco said in unison, instantly morphing.

Luz and Louie's fight has now been taken outside Ebfu chased Louie into a corner ready to strike at him till suddenly a vine wrapped around the sphinx arms, Louie whipped out a light glyph and flashed it into the monster's eyes, "Ahh my eyes". Ebfu shrieked, reeling back. "Take this Khopesh slash" Ebfu is hit with a multi slash by the duck boys weapons. "Okay together Louie". Both rangers attached lighting glyphs to their weapons and sent powerful waves towards the monster blowing him up.

"Guy's".

"Marco Anne you're here". Louie said.

"And it looks like you didn't need us". Marco said.

"Fool's" Ebfu rose from the smoke.

"What the what, but we destroyed you". Luz said.

"There's only one way to destroy me, fools". Ebfu then sprouts his wings and grabs onto Louie, lifting him up and flying off with him. *ahhhh* "This is not helping me with my Mummy phobia".

The rangers ran after the Sphinx to a factory then Ebfu dropped Louie into a pile of boxes injuring the duck boy so much so he demorphed. The rangers caught up and ran over to their friend.

"Oh no Louie". Anne called out holding up the duck.

"Let this be a lesson don't ever cross the likes of Ebfu". The sphinx turns and flies away.

The rangers demorph. "Come back and face us you coward". Luz called out.

"Later Louie's seriously hurt, we got to head back and put an end to this curse".

"Did you guys find anything about it back at the museum"? Anne asked.

"Actually I found this". Luz takes out a sheet of paper and shows it to them. "It has to be some kind of counter curse".

"Well let's get it back to Dipper quickly and end this" Marco said.

Base

R-g was tending to Louie's injuries while Mortu joined Marco Luz and Anne in the main bridge, in fear of Dipper being cursed he was forced to stay at a distance from the team. With their mentors' help he analyzed the notes very carefully until he finally had it translated. :Did you find anything"? Dipper asked. "Here it is I found the encryption, "Once the curse has been spoken only in the sky can it be broken"!

"So Ebfu needs to be destroyed in the sky, great Luz and I can use the owl and butterfly zord and we'll be done". The pink ranger said.

"I'm afraid it won't be that simple. Dipper is the one who's cursed so it is him who has to do this". Mortu responded.

"Last I checked in mythology, minotaur's can't fly, I'm doomed".

"Not for long". R-g rolled inside with exciting news. "Dipper, I have something that's really gonna help follow me". R-g led the group to the lab and removed a cloth from over his hidden project. It was a blue jet-board like device with white accents running along the sides, Dipper was very mesmerized by it. "You like it, I call it the D-glider, a highly maneuverable ride capable of one hundred-eighty turns and moving at fast speeds".

"R-g you may be a machine but you are the man". Dipper said. The blue ranger walks up to touch it but accidently trips over a cord knocking over a pitcher of water that inconveniently was there before splashing onto the jet board short circuiting it and catching on fire.

"Oh no". Luz shrieked.

Anne ran over with an extinguisher and put out the fire.

"Oop that's on me sorry about that".

*beep beep*

The group looks up to a monitor inside the lab and sees Ebfu wreaking havoc. "Perfect were down one ranger and the one shot we have at beating this guy is down". Luz whined.

"Not to worry, it shouldn't take too long Dipper, maybe you should go wait somewhere safe R-g told the Pines boy.

"In the meantime the three of us will hold off this freak, Mortu look after Louie for us, girls lets move".

Near a warehouse area

The girls and Marco chased after Ebfu on foot, firing at their blasters but missing him. "Great just like facing a stink bug again". Anne groaned.

"Yeah but minus the stink". Luz said.

Ebfu circles back around and slashes each ranger one by one with his khopesh. From afar Lazarus along with Oma watched as the battle ensued. "Ahh how interesting though three against one is hardly fair". Oma said. "What say we give our friend here a helping hand, the pink ranger is mine though I have unfinished business with her" Lazarus said.

Ebfu blasted the rangers with lasers from his eyes Luz used an earth glyph to create a large wall of rock for a shield. "How long till R-g is done with that board"? Anne asked through shots of lasers. "He should be done soon, have faith the little guy hasn't let us down". Marco said. Suddenly the three saw Lazurus and Oma racing towards them with weapons drawn; Lazarus a signature sword and Oma with a bladed staff. "Great, we have company". Marco said. "Leave this to us man, you take Ebfu". Luz ordered. The girls ran at Savants henchmen while Marco dealt with the sphinx.

Oma charged at Luz with her weapon with a powerful slash which Luz was able to block but the impact caused a crack in the ground below her. Luz parried the blade and countered with a staff poke which Oma dodged, the yellow ranger then spins and swings her staff hoping to hit her but Oma ducked then swept her leg knocking her to ground. Oma then jabbed her blade into the ground but Luz was able to roll away safely. "Plant spell". Vines came shooting out from the glyph but Oma easily cut through them like a weed whacker.

Anne and Lazarus locked their swords together and were face to face with each other. "So we meet again pink ranger this time you won't be so lucky". "Don't need it but you will". Lazarus pushes Anne back making her skid in the dirt. Lazurus jumps up to deliver a full force overhead attack which Anne parries with the forte of her sword making her stumble a bit. Lazarus follows up with the same attack but this time lands his sword in the ground confusing the pink ranger till a blast of energy emits from it sending Anne flying into a nearby pole.

Marco was atop the roof of a building deflecting blast from Ebfu with his D-sabre. "No measly sabre wielding simpleton can stand up to the great Ebfu's blast". Marco managed to deflect a laser back at Ebfu striking him in the gut and knocking him down. "Booyah". Marco rejoiced but it was short lived as Ebfu rose up with a very angry look on his face. "You shall pay". Ebfu swoops down, grabs hold of Marco and sprays him with a horde of locusts all over before sending him to the ground. Marco saw that the girls were currently on the ropes themselves. "Say comrades, let us finish these pests off". Ebfu said.

Each villain's weapons glowed with power ready to release it all of a sudden they were stopped by a blast of lasers hitting them. Anne Luz and Marco are happy to see Dipper flying in on his D-glider with D-pistol in hand, "cavalry has arrived". Ebfu stands to his feet with wings sprouted and draws his javelin and engages Dipper in combat in the sky.

"Well this is unfortunate, time to go". Oma grunted.

Before the duo could escape Marco swung his axe to cut her escape off, he was joined with Luz and Anne by his side. "You're not going anywhere, let's finish this". Luz said.

"With pleasure Lazarus thrust his blade forward at Anne but with the pink ranger's athleticism she leaps above him and attaches a fire glyph to him sending the second mate flying like a rocket.

Oma is now on the defense from Marco and Luz attacks, the yellow ranger sweeps at the ground with her staff keeping her on her feet while blocking Marcos axe which he used to slice in half before Luz delivers a kick to her stomach. Lazarus crawls over to his comrade and both villains have weapons pointed down at them. "This is not over". Oma said before they vanished through a portal.

Back with Dipper he was right on Ebfu trail, both opponents fired at each other and evading each other shots. "You will never break the curse". Ebfu said to turn around and attack Dipper with his javelin which was blocked with his D-Sabre. "Never say never". The two separated from each other and Ebfu chased after Dipper the Sphinx was fast and couldn't be shaken. Dipper whipped out a glyph from his pocket and faced backwards at Ebfu, "smile for the camera". The blue ranger shined a blinding light at him forcing him to shield his eyes. "My eyes, my eyes". Ebfu cried in pain. Because his eyes were covered he couldn't see where he was going and therefore crashed straight into the wall of a building before falling down.

"Time to finish this". Dipper attached a fire and lighting glyph to his blaster. "Fire lighting glyph blast".

"Oh curses". Ebfu let out before blowing up.

"Alright you did it way to go Dipps". Luz cheered.

"Your finally curse free no more being in big doo foo". Anne teased.

"Oh ha ha very funny". Dipper said half jokingly.

Suddenly the beam gets fired from savants ship we're Ebfu was destroyed and was revived but now fully grown. "I told you you'd never beat the curse".

"Well now you're in even bigger doo-doo now". Luz said.

"Ok enough with the doo-doo jokes"!

"This isn't good Louie's not here to help us form the megazord". Marco said.

"Guess again". The four look behind them to see Louie running over to them.

"Dude you're okay". Anne said.

"Yep thanks to the advanced technology I'm good to go, but enough talk let's send this freak back to his sarcophagus.

"Summon zords"! All five zords materialize and combine. "Summon butterfly zord". Anne's lepidopterist zords appear and attach to the back of the mega zord. "D-megazord Butterfly mode".

Ebfu opens his mouth to unleash a swarm of locusts at the team but the mega zord flaps its wings unleashing a gust of fragrances for icing them to halt and turn back on Ebfu.

"Time to finish this". Dipper said.

The mega zord flew into the air and harnessed a massive blue orb of energy. "Final strike".

The orb fired off hitting Ebfu, completely destroying him.

Back at the base Rg decided to give the rest of the rangers their very own D-glider, each their own individual color. The rangers were back in the base playing poker and right now Dipper was schooling them. "Ok I fold". Louie said forfeiting. "Same". Anne said, frustrated. "I got nothing". Luz moaned. Marco was left and he put down his toe cards. "Four aces boom".

"Nice try but read 'em and weep". Dipper lays Down a royal flush.

"What no way that's the fourth time in a row".

"Guess Lady Luck is on my side which proves my curse is no more". Dipper leaned back in chair with his legs propped up on the table, however he leaned too much and fell onto his back.

The four begin laughing at him as Louie begins to toss the cards on top of him.

Done again this is a chapter to replace the flobitika chapter which I thought was stupid, now to answer Heroes central there will be more than three auxiliary zords, as for the Dalmatian story I need to watch the series to understand. Also I'm not sure about having them travel to other universes I just don't. Know how to fit that all in if you guys have any ideas plz tell me. Don't worry about more chapters coming soon till then peace. P.S the whole scenario with Dipper going through an obstacle of bad luck is a reference to Milo Murphy's Law
